Setting

(Note, most of this is taken from the Wowpedia page)

Eastern Kingdoms: The Eastern Kingdoms are the eastern continents on the world of Azeroth. The Eastern Kingdoms is made up from a group of smaller continents which are Azeroth, Khaz Modan and Lordearon. The Eastern Kingdoms lie to the east of the Great Sea and to the west of the Forbidding Sea.

Gilneas: The kingdom of Gilneas is one of the seven human kingdoms and is located in the peninsula of Gilneas, situated southwest of Silverpine Forest on the continent of Lordaeron. It is ruled by King Genn Greymane of the Greymane family. The nation's colors are described as a red design consisting of a circle with three vertical lines, akin to lances, and another line bisecting the circle itself, all set within a field of gray. Unlike the other kingdoms, Gilneas has applied themselves to become an industrialized and technologically advanced kingdom. It known to rain quite often, giving rise to the saying "It always rains in Gilneas".

Khaz Modan: The homeland of the dwarves and gnomes, known for it's many mountain ranges and conflicts between the Alliance and the Horde in the Second War. The climate ranges from the icy cold peaks of Dun Morogh to the temperate climate of Loch Modan to the wet, humid swamps of the Wetlands. Khaz Modan and the dwarven kingdom took in many human refugees during the Third War who escaped from the undead Scourge.

Lordearon: Lordaeron is the northernmost continent of the Eastern Kingdoms. Separated from Khaz Modan by a narrow strait, the continent of Lordaeron stretches from the Arathi Highlands in the south to the Eversong Woods in the far north. Historically, the continent has been populated by humans in the northern, western and southern regions, trolls in the eastern regions; the Hinterlands and Zul'Aman, and high elves in the far-northern Quel'Thalas.

The climate of Lordaeron is moderate, although the land is rugged and largely mountainous in and around the Hinterlands, Alterac and Arathi Highlands. The southern, northern, and western regions of Hillsbrad, Gilneas, and Tirisfal are characterized by mild forests and farmlands.

After the recent events of the Third War and the war against the Lich King, however, the vast majority of the human population has turned undead, and the high elves are now mostly known as blood elves.

The Kingdom of Lordaeron was one of the seven human nations in the Eastern Kingdoms, primarily located along the northern territories of the continent. Ruled by the Menethil family, Lordaeron took part in the creation of the eponymous Alliance of Lordaeron and spearheaded the Alliance forces against the Orcish Horde during the Second War.

The kingdom was decimated during the Third War by the Undead Scourge, led by the traitor prince Arthas Menethil who murdered his own father, Terenas Menethil II, and unleashed death upon his own people. Following the fall of Capital City, the survivors fled south to Stormwind City and Khaz Modan, or west to Kalimdor, while those who fell were raised into the rotting ranks of Scourge. Many were later freed from the Lich King's control, and under the command of the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner, they became known as the Forsaken who would later join the new Horde under Warchief Thrall. Since that time, Lordaeron's territories have been contested between the Forsaken, the survivors of Lordaeron allied to the Alliance and the remnants of the Scourge.

Author's note: These are the adventures of a Gilnean Warrior who got left behind when the Greymane Wall closed behind him set during the events of Classic WoW. Some characters from Cataclysm from the Worgen storyline do appear as cameos as well as other NPC's from Vanilla. The story will have two timelines, one set around the Third War and the other in present day vanilla WoW four years later. The major point of view will be Will the sellsword but later chapters will change this point of view to others. The idea is to write an erotic adventure series that hopefully will entertain.
