It is the summer of 1969; roughly the months from July to August. The Sturgis biker rally is being organized in Sturgis, South Dakota. Many biker clubs and individual bikers from across the United States are going to gather for a big rally to show off their motorcycles and mix and mingle. Three Georgetown University drop outs, Mike, Rick, and Dirk, are in a menage-a-trois relationship with beautiful blonde fellow college classmate, Angie. Initially hesitant, Angie drops out of college after they offer her a life of adventure on the road and true freedom with lots of sex and recreational drugs. They have trust funds and money they will use on their new found life on the road. The guys have three motorcycles: a 1968 silver and black Harley, a 1962 Triumph Bonneville and a 1967 Honda. They begin their long journey from Washington DC to Sturgis crossing the states of West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Along the way, they have lots of sex and smoke marijuana. They evade police officers, one of which is talked into letting them go after Angie has sex with him. Along the way, Rick and Dirk pick up other guys who and gals who want to be part of their biker gang including two other young women, Susie and Linda, who want to join them on their adventure; much to the hurt feelings of Angie. Mike promises to stay loyal to her. Once they get to Sturgis and listen to live music and socialize with other bikers, Mike dumps Angie for another biker woman, Crystal. Jealous and upset, Angie decides to have consensual sex with a group of 12 bikers from the Hells Angels. She enjoys it but she only did it out of spite and anger at losing her three boyfriends. After the gang bang and Sturgis is over, Mike, Rick, Dirk, Angie go their separate ways. Angie has been gifted a Harley motorcycle by one of the Hells Angels biker gang members and she decides she will go off on her own to California to find herself and become her own adult woman. This audio story is a tribute to the liberated 1960s woman and the biker culture. It features 1960s music including: Sunshine of Your Love by Cream, Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf, Light My Fire by the Doors, Don't You Want Somebody To Love by Jefferson Airplane, and Both Sides Now by Judy Collins.
