Siege At Freaktown Ch. 07

The video warning spread throughout the town; from television, radio, and the internet. Those who were concerned were left wondering if leaving would be the best option. All knew perfectly well they would not be greeted with open arms once they return to human society.

Two goth looking women, a lesbian couple who practiced witchcraft, were not intimidated by the terrorist threats. They would gladly put a spell on them and not lose any sleep over it. Lloyd Bennett and his people looked on, laying low at the local motel they'd taken over, not impressed by the women's comments.

"They can put a spell on me anytime," said one man named Lenny.

"In your dreams, Lenny," said another named Sid. "I prefer stake burning those bitches."

"You mean you wouldn't fuck them? Oh, that's right, you like old scruffy men, am I right, Sidney?"

"Go fuck yourself, Lenny."

"Knock it off," said Lloyd. "Let's see if they'll all leave like we told them to."

"What if they don't?" Sid asked. "Noon doesn't sound like enough time to evacuate a whole town."

"If they don't, then they're all going to be fucked. We sent a message, and if we have to send another then we will. I'm not playing nice with these freaks."Siege At Freaktown Ch. 07 фото

"What about Gus and the others?"

"They all knew what they were getting themselves into. First mistake was underestimating the police in this town, so it's time to shut them down and no more distractions. Make it happen."

"You got it."

Back at the precinct, the captain was held at the interrogation room in cuffs, demanding counsel. He refused to speak with any of the officers, with some finding it difficult to do so anyway because they've known and respected him for some time.

"He's refusing to talk," said Tek.

"Of course he is," said Carlos, "he's stalling for time."

"Stalling for what?"

"For whatever comes next at noon."

"I've lived in this town since I was a kid. I'll be damned if any terrorist tries to drive me out of my home."

"I hear you."

"What I want to know is how does he have human blood?"

The captain waved at the two way mirror with a smile on his face, leaving Tek with a cringey feeling.

"Now I want to kill him," he said.

"Maybe later," said Carlos, about to enter the interrogation room. "Time for me to have a chat with him."

"Yeah, have fun with that."

"It should be fun."

The captain still had a smile on his face even after Carlos entered the room as if it were some form of intimidation.

"Hello... captain," he said, "or whoever the hell you are. Ready to talk?"

"I knew it," said the captain, "I just knew it had to be you interrogating me. What are those freaks afraid of?"

"They're afraid they might kill you, but that's just me taking a guess. Now, who the hell are you?"

"Ah, yes that old burning question. Are you going to torture me first?"

"I don't have time for that no matter how tempting it is."

"Oh, that's right, your lady friend is the one who does all that, but she's not here, is she? I forgot, she's sleeping in her coffin. I'm not too familiar with vampire relations so how does that work? Can vampires breed with humans? I'm afraid to know what the kids would look like. So tell me, is fucking that vampire bitch pleasure or a fetish? Has her fangs ever cut your dick while she's sucking on it?"

Carlos managed to keep his cool as he possibly could. He knew the captain was getting to him, but he chose not to give in even while Tek was watching.

"Are you done?" He said. "Believe me if my girl was here right now after the way you spoke to me, she would rip your dick off and shove it down your throat."

"Sounds kinky." said the captain. "I like to see her try."

"Now let's get back to business. You're not half human because I know for a fact humanoids don't mate with humans. So, explain why your blood is red?"

"You really want to know?"

"That's what we're all here for."

With his cuffed hands, the prisoner reached for his left ear.

"Keep your hands where I can see them," said Carlos.

"Relax, Perez," he said, pushing a device behind his ear. "I'm going to tell you who I am."

Suddenly, the captain's body began to change in a matter of seconds. Instead of a humanoid he was an ordinary human being, with a Human Liberty tattoo on his neck.

"Satisfied?" He said.

"Neat trick," said Carlos. "So what do I call you?"

"You can call me Hank, and that's all you're getting."

"And I'm guessing you don't have twelve kids."

"No, and I'm not even married."

Carlos had never visited his home. He only knew that humanoids were capable of breeding more offspring than any human.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"By now you know we're on a mission."

"Yeah, that's all I keep hearing. The mission. It's all about the mission to save humankind, am I right so far?"

"We've been monitoring this town for years, and gone undercover studying the freaks and blending in without anyone realizing it."

"With those things on your ears?"

"Exactly. We can change into any form we like. There might be more of us in your little station as we speak."

Tek just felt sick to his stomach, listening to this unfold before him. A fellow humanoid he respected and became friends with was not who he was from the beginning.

"I really enjoyed giving orders to your cops," said Hank. "They were so easy to manipulate. When you disobeyed me, I was looking forward to ending your career. It would have been the ultimate humiliation."

Hank tried so hard to get under his skin once again, but Carlos would not give him any satisfaction.

"But the much bigger humiliation," said Hank, "is when we run these freaks out of town for good."

"Because your fearless leader said so?" Said Carlos.

"Lloyd Bennett is a great man. He opened all our eyes and made us who we are. He reminded us that being human should not be taken for granted."

"Why does he hate freaks so much? What did they ever do to him?"

"They ruined his life is what you need to know."

"So this is personal, right? If you ask me it's a sad story about a boy not getting enough attention from mommy and daddy."

"You know what's really sad? You. Why are you here? Why do you live with them? Instead of fighting us you should be joining our cause."

"Cause? Is that what you call it? You're nothing more than a hate group. You're no different from the assholes in the white hoods or those bald headed faggots pretending to be Nazis. I may be a stranger out here, but I've earned the respect from some of these people; not all of them but I'll get there."

Hank wasn't the least bit impressed with his attitude and felt he lost all hope in attempting to recruit him.

"You are lost," said Hank. "I really thought you of all people would understand why we're doing this. You really disappointment me, Perez. Someone who served in the Marines would be valuable to the cause, and we already have ex military serving us."

"Sorry if I didn't meet your expectations... captain. If you want to force these fine people out of their homes, you're gonna have to drag my ass, too."

"Consider that done. These... people are in for a nightmare; a massacre. There's going to be blood and there's going to be bodies stacking up. We're sending all your asses straight to hell. You hear me? It's happening."

Carlos got up and left the room, leaving Hank talking out loud all by himself. Tek still had a hard time accepting what just transpired before him.

"I can't believe we fell for this shit," he said.

"Keep him locked up," said Carlos, "and keep an eye on him. Make sure everyone is who they are."

"You really think his people are spying on us?"

"He has no reason to lie now, and everything he's told us has made sense."

On his way out, a young humanoid officer bumped into Carlos. He apologized for his actions, leading him to turn around and discover something odd about the humanoid. The officer changed into a human but for a brief moment, then back to humanoid form as if his disguise were malfunctioning.

"The hell?" Said Carlos.

He realized this was one of the spies Hank told him about. His disguise, however, malfunctioned without anyone noticing except the young lieutenant himself.

"You there," said Carlos, getting his attention. "Hold it."

The fake policeman took off, pushing everyone aside.

"Grab him!" Carlos shouted, chasing after him. "He's one of them!"

Carlos, Tek, and a few officers chased after him. The stranger got his hands on a patrol vehicle, and sped off far enough away from the bomb he left behind. The entire precinct was obliterated, knocking everyone off their feet. Afterwards, he turned off his disguise and contacted his comrades.

"Mission accomplished," he said.

"Copy that," said Lenny, letting Bennett know how it went.

Midtown's Precinct number one was obliterated next. From the south side Precinct number three became the next to fall.

"That takes care of that," said Lloyd.
