Choosing Stacey Pt. 02

Choosing Stacey (Part 2)

+++++ Ch 5 +++++

For Thanksgiving, almost everyone went home to spend the holiday with family. Kevin, Mike, Jim and Brittany all lived near each other in North County San Diego. Stacey drove home to her parent's place up in Orange County. Christy made the long drive to Phoenix while Anne went home to the city of Ontario, just east of Los Angeles. Kevin called Stacey everyday while they were apart. They both went back to school early on Sunday and spent the day in bed together, getting reacquainted. Then came the final push to the end of the semester and their finals.

The ECON 490 study group agreed to meet almost every evening to study and prepare for their finals. There were hiring fairs in the spring, making the Fall semester grades an important factor in many company's hiring decisions. For anyone looking to go to grad school, they would have to start applying soon, making the Fall grades important here as well. The thought of these upcoming decisions added some stress to a difficult season.

As Kevin put his study materials in his backpack, Stacey grumped at him, "Again? I thought you all met last night?"Choosing Stacey Pt. 02 фото

Kevin sighed, "We did and we focused on our 490 class. Tonight we're focused on our 421 class."

"And tomorrow?"

"Different study group, I'll be working with some friends from my finance class."

"Well, at least it won't be with that slut Christy."

Kevin rolled his eyes, "You know I don't like it when you call my friend a slut. In fact..."

"She's interested in you and she knows you have a girlfriend. That makes her a slut!"

"Dammit, Stacey! I've told you she isn't interested in me! We're just studying! In a group!"

Hearing the annoyance in his voice, Stacey sidled close to Kevin and wrapped him up in a big hug, "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to make you angry." She turned his face to hers and gave him a deep passionate kiss. "I'm sorry. I just get scared sometimes."

"Scared?"

She nodded, "I don't want anyone to steal you away. I love you so much!" She stopped, wide-eyed as she realized what she had just said. "Uh..."

Kevin stared back at her. "I..." He was shocked at what she had just admitted, but the look on her face let him know that she wasn't lying. The joy that ran through his soul was almost shocking in its intensity.

"I didn't mean to say..."

He put a finger on her lips to stop her, "I love you too!"

With a cry she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him down again, kissing him madly, "I love you so much! I... I didn't want to say anything and scare you!"

"You could never scare me away!" They kissed deeply for a few minutes, lost to the world, until Kevin gently pushed her away. "I'm sorry, I really need to go or I'll be late! I'll come back tonight and make it up to you. Maybe a quick drink at our favorite bar?"

After a final kiss, he walked out the door. As he left, Stacey watched him with a small smile on her face.

Kevin was only a few minutes late when he walked into the library room the study group was using. John and Caesar were discussing a section from the textbook, but Christy and Anne were both staring at Kevin as he walked in.

"What? Do I have food on my face?"

Anne turned away, a bit flustered but Christy shot back, "No, but you have a big, goofy grin on your face and you look very happy. Unusually happy. Did you get laid before you came over?"

"What? No! So what if I'm a bit happier than normal?"

"Uh huh. What happened, you can tell me."

Kevin looked at her with an annoyed expression. "It's private."

Anne looked up at him, "Please?"

He sighed in defeat and in a quiet voice he told them, "Stacey and I exchanged our first 'I love you' right before I came over."

Anne looked shocked, but Christy covered for her by drawing everyone's eyes to her, "Awwww, that's so cute!" She walked around the table and gave Kevin a hug, "I'm so happy for you!" As she disengaged from Kevin, she mouthed "I'm sorry" to Anne.

Anne sighed and pulled out her text book.

John took that as a sign to begin, "Ok, in Chapter 6..."

After the study group, Christy and Anne hung back as the three guys packed up and headed to their respective homes.

Seeing Anne staring at her feet, Christy walked up and wrapped her up into a huge hug. "It'll get better sweetie. But you just need to move on."

Anne looked up at Christy, "I know." A tear rolled down her cheek, "But I think I love him and it hurts so much!"

Christy pulled Anne's head to her shoulder. As she did so she could feel Anne was wracked by silent sobs. Christy just held her until the sobs subsided and the tears died.

"You ok, hon?"

"Yeah, I'll be ok." Anne sniffled. "Thank you for the shoulder." She slowly pulled away and wiped at her eyes, "I bet I look a mess."

Christy eyed her and nodded, "Yep, you do, but that's ok. Here." She took a handy tissue and wiped the last tears from Anne's face. "That's better... You ready?"

"Yeah, I am. Let's go."

As they walked out, Christy asked, "Don't you and Kevin have coffee every Wednesday after class?"

"Yes."

"Still going to do it?"

"I am. If I can't have his heart, I'll settle for his friendship... For now."

Christy smiled to herself.

Coffee the next day was a bit awkward. Kevin could tell something was off and the conversation to that point had been stilted and uncomfortable. Anne had barely made eye contact with him and was currently staring at her latte'.

"Anne, look at me."

She slowly raised her head and attempted a smile.

"What's wrong? You've been abnormally quiet since we got here."

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"Bullshit!"

The curse word surprised Anne and she jumped in her chair. Kevin had never directed a cuss word in her direction before.

"Anne, talk to me! You're like, one of my best friends and you're obviously hurting over something. Let me help you."

At the words best friend, Anne simultaneously felt a delicious thrill and spike of despair run through her.

"Is it boy problems?"

Her eyes fell to her latte' again and she nodded.

"So do I need to go beat the crap out of him for hurting you or do I need to talk to him and shove him in the right direction? I can do either. If he's making you this sad, I'm inclined to pound on him."

Anne smiled as the image of Kevin punching himself in the face flashed through her mind.

"Ahhh, you need me to pound on someone. Who is it? Point him out. Or her. Whatever. Just let me know!"

Anne laughed and Kevin looked delighted. "See! That's better. Now who is it?" Kevin had conveniently forgotten the night that Caesar had mentioned Anne's crush on him as he was still in denial about that night.

"It's no one. Just a crush on my part. I'll be fine."

"Ok, but if you change your mind, let me know. If you need a wingman," he raised his eyebrows in inquiry, "I can do that too."

She laughed again, "No, I'm fine! But thank you, if I need your services I'll give you a call."

"Baby, anytime you need me to service you, just give me a call." Kevin mugged leering at her and she laughed at his antics.

"You're terrible!"

"I know, but it's getting late and I need to get home and grab some dinner. See you tonight at the study group?"

"It's a date!"

Kevin hurried back to his apartment. Stacey was getting grumpy with all the time he had been spending with his various study groups as they crammed for their upcoming exams. He was planning on dashing over to Stacey's apartment to surprise her with a dinner out at their favorite local pizzeria before he had to get to his study group. He quickly cleaned up and then quickly drove to her apartment.

"Oh fuck Lilly, right there! Oh god, lick my clit!" Stacey clutched at Lilly's raven hair, pulling her into her pussy. Lilly took the dildo lying on top of the bed and rubbed its pink tip against Stacey's folds, getting another moan from the red-haired beauty beneath her. She slowly pushed the dildo home, watching it disappear inside of Stacey. She reversed her thrust and was fascinated by the way Stacey's lips clung to the dildo as it was pulled out. She increased the pace of her thrusts and returned to tonguing Stacey's clit. Stacey thrust her hips off of the bed as she came, almost throwing Lilly off of her.

Lilly climbed up to cuddle next to Stacey, "Hmmm lover, that sounded good."

"It was, thank you!"

They were lying next to each other, recovering when they heard a knock at the door.

"Who can that be?" asked Lilly.

"I dunno."

Lilly threw on a robe, closed the door to Stacey's bedroom as she left, then went to the door and peeked through the peep hole.

"It's Kevin!" she squeaked and was answered by a surprised "Oh shit!"

Lilly slowly opened the door, "Hey Kevin, you surprised me! Sorry, I'm not dressed and I must look a mess."

"That's ok. Hey, is Stacey here? I thought I saw her car out front."

"Yes, she's in her room and should be out in a moment."

"Ok, thanks!" said Kevin as he started to walk back to Stacey's room.

Oh shit, thought Lilly, he can't go in there. She's probably a fright and the room will smell of sex!

"Kevin, can I get you a coke or a beer? Or something to eat?"

Kevin paused and turned to face Lilly, "No, I'm ok. I'm going to take Stacey out for a quick dinner, she's been a bit upset with me lately."

"Where are you going?"

"Just the local pizza shop." He turned to head back to Stacey's room. "I'll just get her."

Lilly skipped over to Kevin and gently grabbed his arm, "Are you sure I can't get you anything?" She looked at him with pleading eyes, "She's probably not ready to go out. She was a bit of a mess earlier, bad hair day, I think. If you go in there and she's not put together, she'll never forgive you!"

"Oh. Um, could you let her know that I'm here to take her out to dinner?"

"Sure! Thanks for understanding!!"

Kevin didn't understand, but knew better than to push.

Lilly cracked open Stacey's door and peered inside, "Hey Stacey, Kevin's here to take you to dinner!"

"Oh my god, tell him I'm not ready, but will be out in 5 minutes!"

She came out ten minutes later, "Thank you for the dinner break! It's so sweet!"

"No problem, I'd do anything for my baby!" He hesitated, "I didn't want to say anything in front of Lilly and please don't get mad, but your place smelled a little musty. Maybe you better crack a window or something."

He wasn't sure why Stacey began to laugh hysterically.

Finals were finally over and everyone was more or less satisfied with their efforts, but it was also time for everyone to head home for winter break. However, the final night before everyone left would be devoted to blowing off some steam.

Stacey and Kevin walked into Mike and Sylvia's apartment and everyone exchanged hugs.

"So how are you two doing? How'd finals treat you?" asked Mike.

"We're doing great! We both think we did well on our exams." Stacey looked over at Kevin, the tone of her voice growing acerbic. "With the amount of time Kevin put in with his study groups, he should have aced everything!"

Kevin just nodded sheepishly while smiling at Stacey. Mike and Sylvia exchanged a quick glance.

"Oh? Did you have to burn a lot of that midnight oil, Kevin?"

"Yeah, Sylvia. I spent most of my evenings with one study group or another, mostly at the library."

Mike looked at Stacey, "Any problems with the study group?"

"Noooo. Well, maybe. Kevin doesn't believe me, but one of the girls in his study group has a crush on him. She's always flirting and coming on to him." Stacey looked a little flustered. "I don't know why she gets under my nerves so much." She turned to Kevin, "I'm sorry if I was, if I am, being a bitch about this."

She reached out and pulled Kevin into a deep hug. He could feel her breasts squashed against his chest, her nipples hardening from the contact. He started to become aroused at the thought. He gently disengaged himself from Stacey, her blush revealing that she felt the growing bulge in his pants.

"You don't need it, but you're forgiven! I don't think Christy and I have any classes together next semester, so we shouldn't be in the same study group anymore. Problem solved!"

Stacey squealed in delight and brought Kevin in for another full-body hug. Her diamond hard nipples poking his chest fully engorged his dick with blood.

At Sylvia's, "Get a room you two!" they broke their embrace.

Mike noticed Kevin's clothing problem and spun around, one hand covering his eyes while the other waved generally in Kevin's direction, "Dude! What the fuck! Put that away or do something with it before you hurt someone!"

Sylvia backed away from him, her eyes wide, "Damn girl! You got that python tamed yet?"

Kevin was completely mortified and attempted to cover his crotch with his hands. Stacey smirked at his discomfort and their friend's reactions. She stepped in front of him to block Mike and Sylvia's view, but she teased Kevin by pushing her ass into his crotch and wiggling it against him.

"Baby, that's not helping!"

Stacey's musical laugh caused everyone to crack up.

Eventually, things returned to normal size. Dinner was discussed and ordered. The group made their way to Pacific Beach and walked into the Open Bar, a stereotypical dive bar located a block from the beach. The floors were sticky with spilled beer, but the crowd was lively and the beer was cheap.

They were almost through their second pitcher when Mike exclaimed, "Hey Sylvia, isn't that Mary and Jill?"

Kevin looked over to see Mary and Jill, the two girls that were with Christy and Anne in Julian. "Oh shit!" he murmured as he watched Christy and Anne walk in behind the two other girls. "This might not go over too well."

Kevin turned to Stacey who had missed the entrance of the girls, "Hey Stace, are you ready to head to the club?"

"Hmmm? We haven't finished the pitcher yet, maybe in a bit."

Kevin watched apprehensively as Mike flagged down Mary and Jill, then brought all four back to their group.

"Hey everyone, this is Mary and Jill. They're Sylvia's old roommates from Freshman year." He turned to the newcomers, "And this is Kevin and Stacey." Back to Mary and Jill, "And your two friends are?"

"Christy and Anne. Good to see you again." The smile on Stacey's face belied the frosty tone in her voice.

Mike turned in surprise as Stacey filled in their names. He caught Sylvia mouthing, "Oh shit."

Christy returned Stacey's flinty glare, "Likewise! This makes for a wonderful end to the semester."

Stacey laid a hand on Kevin's shoulder, "Honey, you said something about heading to the club?"

Kevin felt like the proverbial deer caught in an approaching semi's headlights. "Uh... yeah. I'm ready if you are." He knew that Stacey was marking 'her' territory, but he knew he had to support his girlfriend. He wrapped an arm around her waist and turned to Mike and Sylvia, "We're going to head out to the club. Please join us when you're ready."

The group watched in silence as Kevin and Stacey made their way out of the bar. Both Christy and Sylvia saw the anguish on Anne's face. As Christy folded Anne in for a hug, Sylvia realized there was something going on beyond a spat between Stacey and Christy.

"Ok you two, what's going on between you and Stacey?"

Jill and Mary shook their heads as they were just as surprised. Christy sighed and said over Anne's shoulder, "Stacey thinks I have a thing for Kevin, but I don't." She nodded towards Anne, who was oblivious to the sign.

"Kevin, Anne and I are in a couple of study groups together, we're all in the same Major. So, we get thrown together a lot and I think Stacey doesn't like it. We're just good friends who've been in some of the same classes for two plus years. I think she's just jealous."

"Oh, that explains our conversation this evening over dinner. Stacey mentioned that she thought someone in the study group had a crush on Kevin." Mike nodded along with Sylvia.

"I take it that YOU do not have a crush on him?"

"Nope, he's a nice guy, but we're just friends and occasional study partners."

Sylvia hesitated, "And Anne?"

Everyone could see Anne's shoulders tighten at the mention of her name. She disengaged from Christy, wiped away a tear and faced Mike and Sylvia. "Yeah, I've been crushing on him really hard all semester."

They could see how hard it was for her to admit this, but Anne managed to keep looking them in the eye.

"He's a really nice guy and we had a really fun afternoon together one Saturday. I thought there was something there, a spark that could have become something more. I would have called it a date, but the next day it turns out he's dating Stacey. So... I don't know." She paused to gather her thoughts, "We're just friends now and I'll just have to be happy with that. At least I have a couple of classes with him next semester, so I'll still see him every day."

Everyone made what they thought were supportive noises. Anne flashed in anger, "Don't pity me! I'll be fine... Now where can I get a fucking beer?"

After another pitcher of beer, Mike and Sylvia said their goodbyes so they could catch up to Kevin and Stacey at the club.

"What are your plans for the rest of the evening?" Sylvia asked the other girls.

"Well, we were going to join you guys at the club, but maybe we'll just hang here for the rest of the night," said Mary.

"Nonsense!" Everyone looked at Christy in surprise. "Mary and Jill wanted to go dancing, which is why we came up here. We'll let you two go ahead and we'll follow in 10 minutes. Anne and I will just stay away from Stacey. The club has a big dance floor, plenty of room for all of us!"

Mike wasn't so sure, but he just shrugged in agreement and followed Sylvia out of the bar. They quickly found Kevin and Stacey at the club and settled in around a couple of drinks. They were all soon on the dance floor. Stacey's grace and a sensuous sway to her hips soon drew the eyes of many of the guys and some of the ladies. Kevin was oblivious, blinded by the beauty dancing before him. Stacey was well aware of the stares and she reveled in the feeling. She was excited by the attention, but not so much that she ignored Kevin. She spent most of her time in front of him, teasing him by staying just out of reach. Then she'd dance close and grind up against him until he was hard and erect. Under the cover of the crowd and low lighting, she'd dance close and stroke him, keeping him on edge, then slip away from his grasping arms. Stacey finally pushed her ass into his crotch and reached up to caress his head.

She whispered, "I'm getting really wet and I'm going to fuck you so hard tonight!" Kevin was bright red when the song ended. By mutual agreement the four decided they had enough for now and they headed to the bar to grab a drink.

Kevin was surprised when Stacey grabbed his arm, "Shit, what are they doing here?"

He turned to see Mary, Jill, Christy and Anne threading their way to the dance floor.

"They did mention that they came down here to dance. This is the only dance club in PB, so it's not too surprising that they showed up here."

"When we left them at the Open Bar, they did mention that they were coming here. Sorry, I forgot to mention it to you. I could tell you weren't too happy to see them." Sylvia shrugged her apology.

Stacey made a face and sighed, "It's ok. I promised Kevin last night that I wouldn't be a complete bitch about Christy. I'll try to be nice if we bump into them."

Mike and Sylvia exchanged a glance, both privately amused that Stacey was focusing on the wrong girl.

Kevin took up one of Stacey's hands, "Let's get that drink, then forget about everything while we're back out on the dancefloor. Mike and I will get the next round, what would you ladies like?"

The group went back out and danced together for another hour until Stacey and Sylvia decided it was time to run to the ladies' room. There was a line and they had to wait 20 minutes. They chatted the entire time, Stacey occasionally venting about Christy. They left the facilities and headed out to the bar area. They saw Mike and Kevin chatting with the four other ladies. Christy had a hand on Kevin's arm.

"Oh, fuck no!" whispered Stacey. She hastily strode over to the group, Sylvia vainly trying to catch her. Stacey reached the group just as Christy gave Kevin a hug. Stacey grabbed Christy by her hair and yanked her away from Kevin. "You fucking slut, stay away from my man!" she screamed.

Kevin was stunned, but quickly came up behind Stacey, grabbed her by both arms and began to attempt to restrain her. Mike helped and they soon had the two separated, but the club bouncers had seen the disturbance and were quickly there, making sure the two girls were separated.

Kevin had Stacey firmly by both arms, "I've got her guys, we're going. Sorry for the disturbance."

"Yeah, but you gotta go and don't come back," replied the bouncer.

Outside the club, Kevin rounded on Stacey, "What the fuck, Stacey? They were leaving and Christy was just saying good-bye! There wasn't anything going on!"

Stacey was taken aback by Kevin's anger. She teared up, knowing this would confuse and weaken his resolve. So she began to cry and reached out to Kevin. He took her and hugged her close, "Shhhhh, it's ok."

"No... nnnooo. I'm nothing but a bitch! I'm sooorry! I don't know what came over me!" Stacey wailed into his shoulder. Kevin held her tight for a minute, but saw that they were attracting a lot of stares and whispers from the line of people waiting to get into the club. He gently shifted her around and began to slowly walk them away from the club, towards the beach as she slowly began to calm down. They reached the boardwalk and began to walk south towards Mission Beach. They used a break in the seawall to clamber up and sit, facing the ocean. He wrapped an arm around her and brought her close. While the night air was a bit chilly, a Santa Ana had rolled through the area the day before, so the evening was unseasonably warm.

"Stacey, you know that I love you and I'd never cheat on you. Angela did that to me and I could never do that to anyone, nor would I tolerate anyone cheating on me."

She looked up at him, "I know, but thank you. I just can't help myself sometimes." She looked at him for a moment, then looked away. "I'm not always a good girl and some of the things I've done, I'm not proud of." She whispered.

"When I see something, or someone, that I want... I take it. Sometimes without thinking or considering the cost." She turned towards him, sniffling, "Please don't think too badly of me. I've had some growing up to do and I'd like to think that over the last year, I've grown up quite a bit. Hopefully I'm becoming a better person, but I realize that I still have some work to do. I'm not proud of the jealous fits that I've had. I'll try to do better, but I could use some help."

"Of course, sweetie. I love you and I'll do anything to help you."

Stacey turned towards him and hugged him closely, then tilted her head and they kissed deeply and passionately.

At the "Get a room!" from a passerby, they broke away from each other with a giggle.

"C'mon, let's go find a cab and go home."

Kevin and Stacey hopped out of the cab, Kevin paid the cabbie and he walked her to her door.

"Come in?" Stacey pulled Kevin into a tight hug and looked up at him. "Before I ruined everything, I think I made you a promise to fuck you so hard and I want to keep that promise!"

They were through the door and into the apartment living room, surprising an astonished Lilly who was camped out on the couch.

"Don't mind us, I'm just going to take this guy back to my room and fuck his brains out!"

"You go girl! I'll put on some loud music to drown out your screams!"

Kevin gave Lilly a half wave as they stumbled into Stacey's bedroom. Stacey started to remove his shirt, but he stopped her. "I think someone has been bad tonight and needs to be punished."

Stacey's eyes were wide as Kevin sat down on the edge of her bed, dragging her down and across his knees. Before she knew it, she was face down over his legs with her rump exposed.

Kevin caressed her ass, "Yes, I think you've been bad and need to be punished. Have you been a bad girl?"

Stacey looked back up at him and in a small voice she admitted, "Yes, I've been a bad girl. I started a fight with another girl tonight and got us kicked out of the club. I deserve to be punished."

Kevin pulled her dress up until it was bunched at the small of her back. He gently traced the curves of her ass with his hand. She was quietly moaning when he drew his hand back and administered a sharp slap to her right ass cheek. She squealed in surprise and pain. He caressed her buttock, smoothing away the pain. Kevin slipped her g-string down over her hips and worked it off of her legs. He went back to tracing her curves, occasionally dipping between to tease her wrinkled little hole or the folds of her sex. He delivered another smack to her left cheek, causing another cry. A third brought a whimper and a sniffle from Stacey. Kevin was concerned that he was actually hurting her until he noticed the juices running down her leg. He slipped his hand between her legs and she was soaked!

He smiled to himself and leaned down until he could whisper in her ear, "Does that hurt?" She nodded slightly in reply. He slapped her ass again, watching her eyes grow momentarily wide as a grunt escaped her lips. He gently rubbed her ass, getting another low moan. "Did you like that?" She nodded. "Does it turn you on?" She whimpered in reply and he smacked her again.

"How many was that?"

"Uh, six?"

"No, it was five, we'll be starting again. Count to ten."

He smacked her again, this time with less force, but he cupped his hands which created a loud sound.

"One!"

"Good girl."

"Two!" she wailed as he used the flat of his hand this time. He took a moment to caress her bottom, smoothing away the pain. He pushed two fingers into her and rubbed her clit with his thumb. She was so turned on that she immediately came around his fingers, her juices gushing around his hand to run down her legs. He pulled his fingers out, reached around and fed his sticky fingers to her. She moaned as she tasted herself on his fingers.

"Oh fuck, that's so nasty. Umphf! Three!"

"Four"

He played with her folds some more, teasing her clit. Then applied the next two spanks in rapid succession.

"Oh fuck Kevin, I'm not going to be able to sit tomorrow!"

"So?"

"What will my parents think when I need to sit on a pillow at the kitchen table?"

Kevin laughed, "Just tell them you fell down."

"I don't know... SHIT! Seven!"

Kevin rubbed her reddened cheeks. He had stopped using the flat of his hand a few strokes before, not wanting to cause any bruises.

"Almost done baby."

Stacey whimpered, "No more, please! I'll be a good little girl!"

"I'm sure you will, but if you're not punished, you'll slip again."

"Eight!"

"Nine!" He rubbed her folds and her clit again, raising her arousal to a fevered pitch.

For the last one, Kevin adjusted his strike to only use two fingers as his hand fell directly on Stacey's exposed labia. She screamed as the orgasm struck her, the mingled pain and pleasure overwhelming her senses. She quivered and shook, then fell limp across Kevin's thighs. He lifted and shifted her around until she was laying back on the bed. He positioned himself between her legs and notched his cock into place. She was almost gushing and he was able to push into her pussy, fully seating himself in one slow, smooth thrust. Stacey arched her back as she felt his thick member push aside her folds and fill up her channel. He slowly made love to her, a sensual counterpoint to the spanking of her ass. They both climaxed and he collapsed on top of her.

As she recovered, she began to kiss him deeply. Kevin eventually pulled away to get up and retrieve a bottle of lotion. He rolled her on her stomach, kneeled over her backside and began to slowly apply the lotion to her abused backside. She purred as he smoothed away the hurt as the cool lotion was worked into the fevered skin of her backside. By the time he was finished, she was lightly snoring.

Kevin went to the bathroom and cleaned himself, then returned with a warm washcloth to gently wipe between her legs. Once he was done, he curled up behind and followed her to sleep.

++++++ Ch 6 ++++++

"I can't believe it's been a week!" moaned Stacey. "When can you come up?"

"I know, it feels like it's been forever. How about I come up tomorrow?"

"Ahhh, I'm seeing some high school girlfriends tomorrow."

"Friday?"

"Going to a movie with my cousin."

"Saturday?"

"I have to go see the cousins from my dad's side."

"Dammit Stacey, you're the one asking me to come up."

"I'm sorry, Kevin! How about Sunday afternoon?"

"Ok. How about I pick you up at noon and take you to lunch?"

He could hear the hesitation on the other end of the line. "Fine. What time should I come by."

"Three PM? The beach isn't too far from here. We could walk along it and then dinner?"

"That sounds great. I'm not really familiar with your area, so you'll have to pick."

They had a great time walking the beach and then eating at a nice little family Italian place that wasn't too far from her home. Kevin drove up to Orange Country once or twice a week and even met Stacey's parents and younger sister, Kim, who was almost a younger, smaller copy of Stacey. They decided to go to a club for New Years and spend the night dancing.

Kevin stopped by at her parent's house to pick her up. Her mom let him in the door to wait.

"It's nice to see you again, Kevin. How was Christmas?"

"It was very nice, thank you. Stacey said you all had a nice one as well?"

"Yes, we did. It's always good to have the kids home for the holidays."

Kevin nodded his agreement as Stacey's dad walked in.

"How are you, young man?"

"I'm doing well, sir, thank you."

"I hear you are going out to one of the clubs tonight to celebrate the New Year."

"Yes sir, we are. We'll be careful. I'm the DD, something I'm used to doing at school with everyone. I'm not much of a drinker."

"Great, nothing like a DUI to ruin the start of a new year. The local cops will be out in force tonight."

Kevin was saved from the need to reply as Stacey came down the staircase. She was in a classic little black dress which left her shoulders bare and cleavage exposed. It was tight, accenting her bust and clinging to her ass. Kevin was surprised when her dad exclaimed, "Damn Stacey! You're going to knock everyone off their feet!" He turned serious, "Now I know that you like to dance, but if some other young man comes to ask you to dance, you should be respectful to THIS young man right here."

Kevin was surprised again at her meek, "Yes Daddy."

"Ok, you two go have fun, but be careful. Call if you'll be out after one. Now your mom and I need to get ready for that party at the Millers. We'll probably stay at their place tonight to avoid all the drunk drivers. Your sister is staying at a friends' place tonight."

Kevin drove to a nice restaurant in Irvine where they both enjoyed a nice meal. From there they went to a nearby club. They were early enough that the line wasn't too long and they were able to find a small table where they could sit and watch. They were soon up and dancing to the latest club hits. Stacey's sensuous moves drew many eyes to the couple as they danced. When they would leave the dance floor to cool off and catch their breath, Stacey was often hit up by other guys, asking to dance. She refused every time and finally just sat in Kevin's lap when they found another small table.

"Lots of guys keep trying to steal you away from me!"

Stacey wiggled in Kevin's lap for a moment, "Never, sweetie! I only have eyes for you!" She planted a deep kiss on his lips and they made out for a minute. Kevin could feel himself becoming aroused from the kiss and Stacey's firm ass on his groin.

She slowly undulated her hips, rubbing herself on him until he was fully erect, "Hmmmm, baby. Is this for me?"

"It sure is and it's only for you!"

As the New Year broke, they kissed at the stroke of midnight, then soon left the club to head back to Stacey's house. With her parents out for the night, they didn't have to find a dark street for a hurried coupling in the back of Kevin's car. They made love through the night and fell asleep on Stacey's bed. They woke up the next morning with Kevin spooned up behind her, a hand cupping a breast and his erect dick between her ass cheeks. He nuzzled at the back of her neck as she ground her ass into his crotch. Stacey reached between her legs to grab his member, then rubbed it along her slit to wet the tip. She then pressed the head of his cock into her opening as he slowly pushed into her. He languidly stroked into her as she rubbed her clit to her first orgasm. He gently stroked her back with a hand as she came down from her high.

"Ok big guy, I want you to fuck me hard! We gotta be quick before my parents get home."

Kevin quickly pulled his still-erect penis from her, then rolled her onto her stomach. He grabbed her hips and brought her to her knees. Knee walking himself into place behind her, he speared her pussy and smoothly buried himself in her tunnel. She gasped in pleasure as she felt the head of his cock push into her until he was fully seated. He commenced to pound her, the slap of his thighs on her ass echoing throughout the room. She grunted in pleasure and began to mewl as the sensations built. He slapped her ass, then reached around to rub her clit, sparking her orgasm. As she clenched her pussy muscles, the increased sensations caused Kevin to fire off and fill her with his liquid heat. They both collapsed onto the bed. He shortly rolled off of her onto his back and adjusted her to lay her head on his chest.

"Mmmmm lover, that was so good!"

He tenderly kissed her forehead until she looked up. They passionately kissed until biological pressures caused them to get up. They were soon showered, cleaned up and eating a light breakfast when Stacey's parents came home.

"Hey kids, we're home!" Stacey's dad announced the obvious as he walked into the house.

"Hey Dad!"

"How was your New Years?"

"It was fun!"

"How about you Kevin?"

"I had a good time, Mr Johnson. We did some dancing, saluted the New Year and then came back." Stacey's mom walked in and caught Kevin's answer.

"Uh huh, and I bet you two went to bed in separate rooms."

"Moooom!" shrieked Stacey.

"Goddammit Nancy, I don't need to hear that about my baby girl." Kevin felt himself turning bright red as Mr. Johnson turned to regard his scarlet face. "Well, I guess that answers that question. I hope you two are being careful."

Stacey rolled her eyes, "Daaaad, stop embarrassing me! I'm an adult and what I'm doing is none of your business."

Nancy smirked at her daughter, "Sweetie, when you are 50, we'll still be telling you to be careful. Just don't give us any unexpected surprises, at least until you finish school."

"Oh my god, I can't believe that I'm having this conversation on New Year's Day!" Stacey turned to Kevin, "Are you finished eating?"

He nodded yes. "Good, let's get out of here before I die of embarrassment."

They spent the day strolling along the beach, hand in hand as they talked about nothing and everything. All too soon the day was getting late and Kevin had to drive back down to San Diego.

Kevin went back to his apartment on the Saturday before classes kicked off again. He needed to get away from home and the parental units. When a call came in on his cell, he was surprised to see Anne's number.

"Hey, Anne! How're you? How were the Holidays?"

"I'm doing great! They were good, it's always nice to see the family and my old friends." Kevin smiled at her chipper tone.

"Are you back in town already?"

"I am and I saw your car parked in front of your apartment. Are you free for lunch?"

"Yes! Any place in mind?"

"No, I'm up for anything."

"How about Vietnamese? There's a great little Pho place on El Cajon Boulevard."

"I love that place! Come pick me up?"

He heard the excitement in her voice and found himself responding, a tingle building in his stomach. "Sure, 15 minutes?"

"Yep. See ya!"

After lunch, Kevin went to drop Anne off at her apartment. He walked her up to the door, then as he was about to turn to leave, she asked, "Come in for a bit? My roomies won't be back until tomorrow and it's a bit lonely."

He nodded his acceptance and followed her in. The apartment was small and furnished in a poor-college-girl style, but everything looked neat and comfortable. They chatted away the afternoon, but Kevin noticed that every time Anne got up, when she returned, she was sitting a little closer to him. The light, intimate touches to his arm or knee had resumed, something that he had missed and was internally delighted to see and feel again.

As the afternoon faded into evening, Anne looked hopefully at Kevin, "Would you like to get some dinner?"

Kevin felt a twinge of guilt, but rationalized that they were just two friends hanging out. "Sure. I chose lunch, so you choose dinner."

"Hmmm, ok. Ummm, we did Vietnamese for lunch. How about Mexican for dinner? Guadalajara?"

"Great idea, that's a great place."

After dinner, they returned to Anne's apartment where they continued chatting over a couple of beers. As it began to get late, Kevin realized that he should head back to his place as he was expecting Stacey's call before too long.

"Well, I guess I should go. I've had a lot of fun today!"

"Me too." Anne hesitated, "It's not really that late yet, we could find something on the tube or rent a movie?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I really should be going. I never did finish picking up my place and Jim should be back tomorrow afternoon."

Anne looked down and whispered, "Ok. I had a really good time today."

She walked him to her apartment door, but grabbed his wrist as he made to leave. She lightly tugged on it and he automatically turned to face her. She was suddenly in his arms, her face tilted towards him. She gently grasped the back of his head and brought his face down to hers. Their lips met and Kevin felt himself kiss her back. His hands automatically went around to grasp her by her ass cheeks and she moaned when he began to massage them. Her passionate moan brought him back to reality and he began to gently disengage from Anne. She moaned again, but this time in disappointment. He leaned back to create some space between them and Anne looked down at her feet.

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

Kevin sighed, "Me too. I..." He paused, not wanting to hurt her. "I really like you, but I'm with Stacey right now. If circumstances were different, well..." He left the thought unsaid, not wanting to lead Anne on.

A tear rolled down Anne's face, "That's ok. I shouldn't have done that, I know that you're dating Stacey."

Kevin wiped away her tear and kissed her forehead, "I'm sorry. I'll see you on Monday."

Anne closed the door behind him and blindly made her way to the couch, where she collapsed in tears. Her roommate found her still on the couch the next morning and called Christy.

Christy came right over and found Anne, still curled up in a ball on the couch. She took Anne into her arms, "Oh honey, what's wrong?"

"N... nothing! It's just me!" She began to sob again.

"Oh, don't say that! It's not you, now tell me what's wrong." Christy stroked Anne's hair as she held her and soon the sobs faded away.

"It's Kevin."

"Did he hurt you? Did he do something? I'll kill him if he did."

"N... No... No. He didn't. We... we spent yesterday together. We had lunch and dinner and spent the day talking. It was so nice! And then... then I kissed him when he was leaving." Another tear rolled down her cheek.

"Did you, um, you know..."

Anne shook her head, "But I wanted to! I would have if he..." Another sob escaped her, guilt at the thought she might have tried to steal another girl's boyfriend.

"Shhhhh... it's ok. Cry it out, we'll get through this."

Kevin's reunion with Stacey on Sunday afternoon was very passionate and comfortable, despite having seen her just the week before. His reunion with Anne on Monday morning in their first ECON class was anything but comfortable. He had arrived first and took a spot near where they typically sat in the classroom. He was surprised when both Anne and Christy walked in and took up a spot away from him. They still had five minutes until class was to begin, so he moved over to stand near them.

"I don't want anything to be uncomfortable between us. You two are some of my best friends here and I can't get through this semester without you. Please, may I sit with you?"

Christy looked at Anne and raised an eyebrow. Anne sighed, "Yes, I'd like that. I don't want anything to feel weird."

"Cool, thank you. And Christy, I thought you weren't taking ECON 485?"

"Yeah, well I changed my mind. A girl can do that, right? And I wouldn't want you to struggle through the semester without me. Oh hey! There's John and Caesar!" She waved them down, "The whole gang's here!"

There were greetings all around and everyone found a seat as the professor started his lecture.

As everyone settled into the routine of the new academic semester, Kevin failed to tell Stacey that he was sharing a class with Christy. After a while, he knew that his lapse was moving from being absent-minded to something just short of a flat out lie. He wasn't sure how to get around how angry Stacey would be when she found out, so he just ignored the problem and hoped she'd never find out.

+++++++ Ch 7 +++++++

The semester was about half-way over and Kevin felt that his relationship with Stacey had never been stronger. They saw each other every day, tried to eat dinner together most nights and hung out together as much as possible. She was happy with school, her friends and with Kevin. He was a kind and attentive lover, always willing to knock her socks off any chance he got. And if it happened that he wasn't around, her roommate, Lilly, was always willing to play.

It was a Monday morning and Anne breezed into the ECON class she shared with Kevin, a huge smile on her face. Christy greeted her with a happy squeal and a big hug.

Kevin looked at her, an inquisitive look on his face, "So, what's up with you? It's like you're walking on Cloud 9."

Anne waved dismissively, "Oh, it's nothing. Just happy to be here!"

Kevin muttered "Bullshit" under his breath, but made sure that Anne wouldn't hear him.

Christy broke the news to him, "Anne found herself a boyfriend over the weekend!"

"Oh?" Kevin couldn't help but feel a flash of resentment and jealousy.

"Yep. He's a cute hunk too!"

"Huh."

Anne looked at Kevin and smiled, "Awww, don't be upset! You should be happy for me!"

"Sorry, I am! Congrats! Tell him that he better treat you right or I'll pound him."

Anne giggled and turned away to talk to another classmate. With her back turned to him, Kevin's face fell.

He jumped when he more felt, rather than heard, Christy whisper in his ear, "Are you a bit jealous?"

"What? N... no! I'm happy for her."

"Don't lie, I saw your face."

Kevin sighed, "Ok, I felt a flash of jealousy when I heard her news."

"Just a flash?"

"Fuck you," he hissed. Christy looked surprised at his reaction. He grimaced, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gotten mad. But you're right, I felt jealous and to be honest, I still do." He paused to gather his thoughts and Christy knew not to interrupt, "I'm a bit surprised at myself, but I've always felt affectionate towards Anne. I know that she deserves to find someone to make her happy."

He fell silent again and Christy could almost see the emotions roiling beneath the surface.

"It's a little funny actually. We never discussed it, but I'm sure that she was jealous, at least on some level, of Stacey."

He barely heard Christy mutter under her breath, "Yeah, well, we discussed it. A lot."

"Now I'm the one who is jealous and I have no cause to be as I have Stacey. Funny that."

"Are you going to do anything about it?"

"What? No! I'm happy for her and content with Stacey."

Christy pounced, "Just content with Stacey?"

"Stop twisting my words! I love Stacey and would never give her up."

Christy was about to poke at Kevin again when their professor walked into the classroom and began his lecture.

Anne slipped into her seat between Kevin and Christy, almost glowing with her happiness. Kevin smiled at her and tried to dispel the dark thoughts racing through his head.

The next few days were the same, Anne and Christy would exchange gossip about Anne's new boyfriend, how he was the best, a hunk and just the sweetest guy. Kevin tried to tune them out, thankful that they were all together in just the one class. He did have to put up with her chatting about him during lunch and their other class that they shared, but at least Christy wasn't there to help her brag about her boyfriend.

On Friday, Anne breathlessly described a couple of mid-week dates she had been on with Jerrod.

"Go girl! What's that now, three dates? You know that fourth date can be the make-or-break date. You've started to get to know one another and he may be expecting you to take the relationship to the next level."

Anne's eyes widened, "Do you think so?"

Christy sort of shook her head from side to side, but then nodded, winking at Anne.

Kevin leaned over to them, "Good god, Christy! Not all guys think that way. Don't give Anne the impression she needs to put out or risk losing him. Don't be such a bitch to her."

Christy immediately looked contrite, "I'm sorry Anne, he's right. Take your time, do what you feel is right."

On Monday, Kevin walked into class and saw Anne, who was bouncing excitedly as she chatted with Christy.

He shook his head, "So how did the big date go?"

"Oh my god, it was so good! He took me to dinner and then dancing. It was so fun!"

"I thought you weren't big on dancing?"

"Yeah, well, I had a good time with Jerrod."

"And how did it go after the dancing," asked Christy. She raised her eyebrows in anticipation.

Anne blushed. "We didn't really do anything. Just kissed a bit. And maybe a little..."

Kevin interrupted, "I don't really want to hear about this! Come on, class is just about to start."

Christy mouthed to Anne, "He's just jealous!"

The next night, Kevin walked into their normal Tuesday evening study group. Christy and Anne were sitting at a table corner, talking animatedly. As Kevin feared, they were again discussing Anne's new boyfriend, Jerrod. He tried to ignore them as they all waited for John and Caesar to join them, opening up his textbook and pretending to read it.

Christy shot him a surreptitious look, "He's trying to ignore us!" She giggled.

"You're so bad! Why are you tormenting him?" Anne couldn't help herself and she giggled too.

"Watch him tense every time we laugh. He thinks we're laughing at him!"

"Aren't we?"

They both broke down, giggling.

Kevin finally looked up, "What are you both cackling about? It's driving me insane!"

"Nothing!"

Kevin rolled his eyes as Caesar and John walked in. "What's so funny guys?" asked Caesar?

The girls broke out in giggles again as Kevin sighed. "Apparently at me. Anne has a new boyfriend and they're both delighting in teasing me."

"Go girl!" shouted John, raising a fist. Anne fist-bumped him back.

"Morons!"

"Hey Kevin, I think this is a little payback."

"What? What for?" Kevin looked at Caeser, an expression of incredulity on his face.

Anne surprised herself when she said, "Yeah, paybacks' a bitch, isn't it! It's about time you feel what you put me through all last year!"

Kevin looked at Anne in horror. "I'm sorry, I never meant to ever hurt you." He grabbed his book and fled the room, swearing to himself.

"Oh shit! Kevin, wait! We were just having some fun!" cried Christy. She ran out of the room, but he had already disappeared.

She walked back into the room. John and Caesar stared at her in shock, but she was surprised to see a somewhat self-satisfied look on Anne's face.

Christy rounded on her, "What was that about? Were you trying to drive him away?"

"No, but I'm glad that he gets to feel some of what I went through."

"He never mistreated you! He was always so nice and tried to protect your feelings. Why are you being such a bitch all of a sudden?" Christy grabbed her things and quickly left the room. Holding back a sob, Anne packed up and followed her out.

John and Caesar were left standing there, "What just happened? Did our group just break up?"

Stacey was lounging around in her apartment, mindlessly watching the TV when her cell rang. She saw Kevin's number on the display, "Hey sweetie!"

She was surprised by the listless tone as Kevin answered, "Hey baby. Can I come over?"

"Of course! Is something wrong? Aren't you supposed to be at your study group?"

"Yeah. I don't wanna talk about it."

"Ok, come on over, I'll be waiting."

When Kevin knocked, Stacey immediately let him in and gathered him into a full-body hug. She melted into him, pressing her chest, belly and legs into him. He sighed and held her tightly for a few minutes.

"Thank you, baby. I needed that."

Stacey guided him to her couch. "So what's wrong?"

Kevin thought about it for a moment, but realized that there wasn't any easy way to say, My study partners were mean to me, so I ran away.

"Umm, well. I had a disagreement with my study group and left."

"That can't be all of it, you looked and sounded too distressed."

"Yeah, well, I don't know."

She looked at him and cocked an eyebrow.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Ok, I'll respect that, but I'm here if you want to talk about it. Let me see if I can cheer you up some."

She leaned forward and pushed her breasts into his face, then shook her chest, bouncing her tits off of both cheeks. Kevin reached up under her shirt and found, to his pleasant surprise, that she was braless under her shirt. He gently tweaked a nipple, causing it to harden under his fingertips.

"Honey, I think this might be working, but maybe I need a little more to really snap out of it."

Stacey laughed and grabbed his hand, "Well then, come with me to my room and we'll see what I can do to make you happy."

They were laying on her bed, naked and intertwined when she broached the subject of his unhappiness, "So why were you so unhappy this evening."

Without thinking, Kevin answered, "At the start of our study group session, Anne and Christy were making fun of me. They..."

"Anne and Christy?"

"Uh, yeah." Kevin realized that he made a mistake.

"I thought she wasn't in any of your classes this semester? Isn't this your ECON 485 class study group?" She stared at him, waiting for an answer.

"Yes, she changed her schedule and joined the class at the beginning of the semester."

"And when were you going to tell me?"

"Uh, I meant to, but I kept forgetting and then it became too late."

"So you were hiding the fact that the slut joined your class to chase you!"

"No! I didn't hide it!"

"So you lied about it!"

"No, I didn't! I promise!"

All the insecurities Stacey felt about Christy from last semester came slamming back at her and she burst into tears, "Get out! Go away!"

"Stacey, I'm sorry, I..."

"Shut up and get out!" She shoved him out of the bed and he fell to the floor. She was crying as she pointed to her bedroom door, "Get out!"

He quickly gathered and put on his clothes, then walked out of her room. He grabbed the rest of his things and left her apartment, quietly closing the door behind him.

Kevin tried to call her the next day, but she never answered her cell. When he called her apartment, her roommate, Lilly answered and told him that she didn't want to talk to him. He walked around in a daze all day, barely paying attention in class and refusing to talk to any of his friends who asked if he was ok.

On Wednesday, Kevin skipped his two classes with Anne and avoided her and Christy on Friday. Stacey still wasn't taking his calls and he moped around his apartment, feeling sad and lonely.

Jim walked in Friday afternoon to see Kevin sitting on their couch, mindlessly flipping channels on the TV.

"Hey man, what's up?"

"Nothing."

"You going to actually watch something or just flip the channels all evening?"

"Yeah."

"Dude. What's wrong? Is it your girl?"

"Yeah."

"So?"

"She's mad at me."

"Have you talked to her?"

"No, she won't answer my calls or return my messages."

"Have you tried to see her?"

"No."

"Then get off your ass and go see her! Tell her you're sorry, suck up to her, kiss her ass and do whatever it takes!"

"Wha... Ok."

Jim waited a moment. "Why are you sitting there? Get off your ass and go!"

"Now?"

"Yes, right the fuck now! Go before she goes out tonight."

As Kevin grabbed his keys and headed out the door, Jim swatted him on the ass. When the door shut behind Kevin, Jim muttered, "I didn't think he'd ever leave. Hopefully Brittany and I can have some quality time alone tonight!"

Kevin knocked on Stacey's apartment door and saw a shadow through the door peep hole. The door was opened slightly and Lilly stepped out, closing the door behind her.

"What?"

"Can I see Stacey? I want to apologize and try to make it up to her."

"I don't know. She's been crying all week and has skipped a bunch of classes. I don't think that she wants to see you. What'd you do to her? Were you cheating on her, you jerk?"

"No! You know that she doesn't like Christy and thinks that she's pursuing me. She isn't, we're just friends and I'm not her type. Anyways, we weren't supposed to have any classes together, but she ended up dropping a class and picking up one of my classes. I meant to tell Stacey, but I kept forgetting or it wasn't a good time, and then it was too hard and then too late.

"So yes, I'm an asshole and a bit of a jerk, but I didn't mean to hurt her. Can I see her, please?"

Lilly stared at him, looking into his eyes. She must have liked what he saw, "Ok, when I step out in a few minutes, you can slip in the door. This will give you some privacy with her. Don't fuck it up!"

A few minutes later, Lilly stepped out, clutching her purse, "Bye Stace! I'll be back in an hour or so."

She held the door slightly open for Kevin, "Good luck. You better be nice to her or I'll kick you in the nuts."

"Thanks. I think."

Kevin slipped inside and saw Stacey sitting on her couch. Her eyes were puffy and red as if she had just been crying. She didn't notice him right away, so he said, "Stacey? Can we talk for a bit?"

She looked up in surprise and a flash of emotions ran across her face - anger, hurt and longing.

"Ok," she whispered, "but I'm still mad at you."

She patted the couch next to herself and Kevin sat down next to her. He automatically reached out to hold her and she flowed into his arms, sniffling quietly.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to not tell you about Christy. I just kept forgetting and sometimes it wasn't a good time. Then after a couple of weeks, it became too hard to say something."

He looked down at her, "Please believe me, there has never been anything between her and I. She doesn't like me that way, I think that she prefers the bigger, jock type guys as I've seen her dating a number of athletes over the years. I only have eyes for you."

Stacey sniffed, "You lied to me."

"Not directly and not on purpose."

"It was still a lie."

"And I'm sorry for that. I'll never lie to you again."

"You better not, or I'm going to kick you in the nuts."

"What's with all the threats to kick me in the nuts?"

Stacey giggled. "Did Lilly threaten you too?"

"Uh-huh. It's not nice to threaten a guy's balls."

"I'm still pissed at you."

"I know and I'm sorry."

"Ok. You can take me somewhere nice for dinner tomorrow."

"Uh, sure. Where would you..."

"Someplace nice."

"Got it. I'll pick you up at 6?"

"Yes, now go."

"I love you sweetie!" Kevin leaned in for a kiss but Stacey leaned away and pointed at the door. Defeated, Kevin sighed and left.

"So, how did it go?" Mike was sitting across from Kevin in the Student Union, having joined him for lunch at Kevin's request.

"It was ok, she was still rather frosty. She let me kiss her good night when I dropped her off at her place, but she didn't let me in. Food was good. Fucking expensive though."

"What are you going to do next?"

"I don't know, I was hoping that you or Sylvia could help. I'm not really sure how to make this better."

"You might not be able to, you broke her trust and that's hard to restore. If she lets you, do a lot of ass kissing."

"Will that work?"

"Probably not. I'll see if Sylvia has any ideas."

"Thanks, man. I appreciate it."

Stacey had been giving Kevin the cold shoulder for two weeks. She'd let him take her out to dinner or would meet in the afternoon, but there was no warmth when they were together. He was getting tired of the treatment and nothing he said or did would defrost her attitude towards him. To make matters worse, Anne and Christy seemed to delight in rubbing the existence of Anne's boyfriend in his face. When all three had class together, it was "Jerrod was so sweet" or "Jerrod did this..." Kevin was becoming so frustrated and angry with his relationship with Stacey and the teasing from his friends, that he started to make excuses to avoid eating lunch with the two of them.

After another uncomfortable dinner with Stacey, followed by a quick kiss at her apartment door, Kevin decided that he had been put through the wringer long enough.

It was a Friday and when he walked into class, Christy was asking Anne about her latest date with Jerrod.

"Aww, that's so sweet!"

"I know!" gushed Anne. "Then we went for a walk through Mission Park Trails, it was so nice and romantic!"

"And what did you do there?"

Anne giggled and looked around, "We found a nice quiet spot off one of the trails and made out all night!"

"Go on!"

Anne whispered to Christy, "I stroked his dick for a bit and I let him feel me up..."

"Naughty girl! So when..."

Kevin had heard all he could take, "For god's sake, why won't you just finally fuck him and stop talking about it!"

He felt somewhat bad seeing Christy's shocked expression and Anne's hurt look, but he was too pissed to really care. He grabbed his books and bag and shifted a dozen seats away from the girls. They looked like they might follow, but the entrance of their professor kept them in their seats. He dodged them on the way out of class and skipped lunch to avoid them.

That afternoon he called Stacey, "Hey, would you like to go out tonight?"

"I can't, I already have plans."

"Oh," Kevin felt hurt. Stacey hadn't turned down an invitation to do something on a Friday night since they started dating. "Ok, maybe tomorrow?"

"Maybe. I gotta go. Bye." She hung up and he was left feeling a bit upset.

He called Mike.

"So how are things going with Stacey? Any better?"

"Not really. I asked her if she wanted to go out tonight, but she told me she had other plans."

"That sucks. Hey, Sylvia and I were going to go downtown tonight. She wants to go dancing at one of the clubs in the Gaslamp. You interested?"

Kevin really wasn't, but he decided that it would be better to get out of his apartment and not sulk the whole evening.

"Sure, I'll go."

"Ok, come by at 7. We'll pre-party and head down around 9."

They started at the Star Bar, which was near the Gaslamp District and had some of the cheapest beer in the area. The decor was pulled straight from an 80s Subic Bay bar, all red velvet and cheap furnishings. The men's restroom didn't have urinals, but a metal trough that ran the length of the bathroom. They didn't care because cheap beer was cheap beer.

From the Star Bar they headed to one of the nightclubs and selected one that was busy, but didn't have a long line. Once inside, they bought a round of much more expensive beer and found a place to hang out by the dance floor. Sylvia was already swaying to the club music while Mike and Kevin attempted to lubricate themselves enough to go dance.

When the guys decided they were ready, the small group started towards the dance floor.

Mike exclaimed, "Hey, isn't that Stacey?"

Kevin heard him and eagerly looked around, "Where did you see her?"

He missed Mike's soft, "Oh shit!" when Mike saw that Stacey was in the arms of another guy. He tried to grab Kevin to warn him, but it was too late, Kevin had already seen her. The blood drained out of his face as he stared in shock as she twisted and turned around the guy, stopping to drape her arms around his neck and dance close to him.

Kevin whirled about to leave, but stopped and turned to Mike and Sylvia, "I'm sorry, but I have to go. You guys stay, I hope I didn't ruin your night."

"Hey, buddy. That's ok, we'll head out with you. We can all find another club."

"No, you guys don't have to do that, don't waste your money on another cover charge. And I just want to be alone for a bit. I'll catch a cab back to my place."

Back at his place, Kevin sat in his kitchen and worked his way through a six-pack of beer. He moodily contemplated what he had just seen, the way she had treated him and what he was going to do about it. He resolved to confront her and maybe dump her, but in his anguish he realized that he still loved her and her betrayal hurt him. He flashed back to the deep betrayal he felt when his previous girlfriend, Angela, had cheated on him and humiliated him in front of his friends and classmates. He was determined that would not happen again.

Stacey and Lilly blew through the door of their apartment, clutching each other to stay on their feet.

"Heeey, girlfriend! I'm drunk!"

"No kidding Stace, so am I! That was fun, we need to do it more often."

"What, dancing?"

"Yep. And hanging off of cute guys." Lilly giggled. "That one guy wouldn't leave you alone! I thought he was going to follow us home."

"I know, dance a little slutty around a guy one time and they think you're easy. Fuck him."

"Soooo... what are you going to do about Kevin? You've been freezing him out for what, two or three weeks now?"

"Something like that. I think he's learned his lesson and won't lie to me anymore. I'll make it up to him tomorrow. I'll take him back to bed and knock his socks off! He'll be so happy, he'll do anything that I want and finally get rid of that slut, Christy."

"Ohhh, I like the way you think, girlfriend!"

Saturday morning Kevin drove over to Christy's apartment. He knocked on the door and it was answered by Lilly. She called over her shoulder, "Hey Stace, it's that guy!" Kevin was irritated at getting called 'that guy' by Lilly, but then it got worse.

Stacey called back, "Who? The guy from last night?"

Kevin felt the heat rising up from his chest as his anger built. He yelled into the apartment, "No, it WAS your boyfriend."

He turned to leave, skipping down the stairs in his haste to get away. Stacey ran out the door, "Kevin, wait!"

"Why should I? You've made yourself pretty clear with how you feel about me."

"No, please! Come inside and talk to me." She ran up to him and held his arm. "Please? For me?"

Kevin let himself be guided back into Stacey's apartment. Lilly slipped out as they walked in, muttering something about giving them some space.

"Please sit."

"No."

Stacey was shocked at the venom in Kevin's voice.

"W... why are you so mad at me?" She began to tear up in the face of his anger.

"Why am I mad at you? Why do you think? You've treated me like shit for two weeks and then what was that crap when I answered the door?" Kevin's voice rose as he spoke until he was almost shouting.

Two tears trailed down her cheeks as Kevin's anger struck her hard and she began to be afraid for her relationship. "I... I'm sorry!"

"You're sorry! That's all you have to say for putting me through two weeks of hell?"

"You lied to me!" Stacey knew that the best defense was a good offense, particularly if the tears weren't working. She had to turn the conversation around to get him to apologize to her.

"And I said I'm sorry, I meant to tell you that Christy had joined one of my classes."

"You know how much I don't like that bitch, yet you hid the fact that you were seeing her almost every day!" She was almost screaming now and Kevin felt his anger surge.

"Yeah, at least I wasn't cheating!"

"I never cheated on you!"

"Then what did you mean when you asked if I was the guy from last night?"

"I was joking! There was no guy last night!"

Kevin was yelling now, "Now YOU are lying to ME! I saw you last night hanging all over that dude at the dance club! You sure looked like you knew him pretty well! Did you go home with him? Did you fuck him?"

Stacey was shocked and left speechless. She had no idea that Kevin had seen her last night.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," he said. "We're through. Don't bother to call me."

He turned and stormed out of the apartment, ignoring Stacey's shrill cries for him to wait. She ran after him, but he was already getting in his car. He ignored her pleas and drove away.

By the time he reached his apartment, Stacey had left three messages and sent him two texts. He deleted them all without listening or reading the messages. He then shut his phone off and went for a long walk. He figured Stacey would eventually get around to dropping by his apartment, so once he was back from his walk, he packed an overnight bag and drove home. His parents were happy to see him, but they could tell something was wrong. He put them off with a few excuses about 'girl trouble' and hung out with his parents and younger sister.

Sunday evening, he called his apartment.

"Hey Jim, how's it going?"

"Good dude, where are you?"

"I went home. Stacey and I broke up."

"Yeah, I figured. She's called a bunch of times and dropped by two or three times."

"What'd she say?"

"Not much, just that she was looking for you and for me to tell you that she was sorry. She looked like crap, man, like she's been crying all day. What happened?"

"Long story short, I caught her cheating on me Friday night so I dumped her."

"Bummer."

Kevin snorted at Jim's eloquence. "Yeah, well, it happens. She isn't hanging around, is she?"

"No, I haven't seen her."

"Ok, I'll be back in a couple of hours. If she calls, tell her you haven't talked to me."

"Will do."

On Monday morning, Kevin dragged himself out of bed to get to his first class of the day. It had been a sleepless night for him and he felt exhausted. Mid-terms were coming up and he had missed too many classes already over the last two weeks, so as much as he would have preferred to skip his morning class and sleep in, he made himself go.

When he went to his next class, he was surprised when Anne didn't show. He shifted his seat closer to Christy. "Where's Anne? Don't you guys want another chance to rub her boyfriend in my face some more?"

Christy looked at Kevin, an irate expression on her face. "You sure can be an asshole sometimes. Anne's boyfriend broke up with her on Saturday."

"Oh, damn. I'm sorry. How's she doing?"

"Obviously not well, she isn't here. And why do you look like crap?"

Kevin sighed, "Stacey and I broke up."

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! What happened?"

"You know that she was treating me like crap for the last couple of weeks." Christy nodded. "Well, I caught her cheating with another dude."

"You caught them fucking?"

"No, they were dancing together, but not like they had just met. They were pretty close and she was hanging all over him, like they had been together for a while."

"That really sucks, sorry."

"Yeah, thanks. So why did Anne's boyfriend break up with her?"

"I don't know, she wouldn't tell me or come out of her room."

Further conversation was brought to a halt by the start of their class. Once his day was over, Kevin headed to Anne's apartment. Her roommate answered the door and let him in.

"She hasn't left her room since Saturday night. I don't think she's eaten anything at all. I'm worried about her!"

"Me too, do you think she'd see me?"

"Maybe. She used to talk about you all the time. So please, give it a try."

Kevin knocked on Anne's door. She didn't answer, so he called out, "Hey, Anne. It's me, Kevin. Can I come in?"

He didn't hear an answer, but slowly opened the door anyway. She was laying on her bed, under the sheets. She roused as he entered and her eyes widened when she saw who it was in her room.

"Hey, there. Can I sit?" Anne nodded wordlessly and scooted over to give him room. He sat, looking at her.

"I heard you weren't doing too well. Me either. Maybe we can be a bit miserable together."

She sniffled, "You look like crap too."

"Yeah, Stacey and I broke up."

"I'm sorry."

"Me too. Sorry about you and Jerrod."

Anne's sniffles soon turned into tears. Kevin opened his arms and she flowed into him, hugging him tightly as she began to sob. Anne felt his own tears drop onto the top of her head as she wept. He held her until her tears ran their course.

"Anne, do you want to talk about it?"

She shook her head no. "What happened to you and Stacey? I know that you were having problems, but I thought that you would be able to work through them."

"Yeah, I did too. Then I caught her in the arms of another guy at a club Friday night. They were looking pretty tight as if it had been going on for a while."

"What'd she say?"

"She lied about it, denied that she was with the guy on Friday. She was giving me shit, thinking I lied about Christy. I did screw up when I didn't tell her that Christy joined our ECON 485 class and she was really pissed, accusing me of lying. I guess I did lie... a lie of omission. So she put me through two weeks of hell, but I was starting to get tired and pissed. Seeing her with the other guy was just the last straw."

He finished and they just sat on the bed, holding each other tightly. Kevin was feeling content for the first time in weeks and he was happy that he and Anne were reconnecting.

Anne broke their companionable silence, "I'm starting to get a cramp!" Kevin released her and started to stand. She grabbed his hand to stop him from getting up. She laid down on her bed and pulled him down. She was still under her sheets as he lay down next to her.

"Hold me, please!"

Kevin laid on his back, pulling her onto his shoulder. They lay like that until she started to speak.

"At first, Jerrod was a really nice guy. He treated me right, said all the right things and didn't push me to get intimate right away. He was sweet and I liked him a lot. It didn't hurt that he's pretty good looking."

Kevin waited silently as Anne gathered her thoughts. "I'm not one to jump into bed right away with someone. I've never had a one night stand. I want to make sure that the guy cares for me as much as I care for him before I go all the way. So we started slowly. Kissing, cuddling. Some petting. We saw each other almost every night, so things moved forward a bit quicker than I was comfortable with."

Kevin could hear her voice start to quiver as she continued, "He was patient with me, but I could tell he wanted more." He could almost feel her blush as she admitted, "I blew him on Wednesday night and I let him go down on me Thursday."

She was silent for a long time, so he kissed the top of her head to try and comfort her. She leaned back to look up at him, then leaned forward to give him a light peck on the lips.

"Thank you for being here for me and listening." She continued to look him in the eyes as she went on with her story. "So after he left Thursday night, I decided that we'd go all the way Saturday. He had planned on taking me out again and I figured that it had been long enough. Saturday started out nice enough. We went out to dinner, then to a bar for drinks. I took him back to my place. I told him I was ready and well, we did it. I thought it was good, but after he finished he stood up and started to dress. I was shocked and asked him what he was doing. I expected we'd hold each other for a bit and then he'd spend the night. But..."

Anne started to cry again, "But then he told me... he told me that the wait wasn't worth it. And... and..." She hiccuped as she tried to finish, "And he said not to call as we were through."

"Aw Anne, I'm sorry." She was bawling again and he wrapped her up tightly. "Jarrod is a fucking jerk. You ARE worth it and anyone would be lucky to have you. I oughta look him up and kick his ass for doing that to you."

"No! Please don't! It's not worth it. I'm not worth it!"

"Don't talk that way! You are so worth it! You are an amazing woman and any guy would be lucky to be with you."

She held him tight and looked into his eyes, searching for something. He tried to project warmth and affection, but was surprised when she surged up against him and locked her lips in a passionate kiss. He lost himself in the kiss, returning it fully. When she grabbed his hand and put it on her breast, he automatically cupped her tit and tweaked a nipple. When she moaned, he realized that this might go too far and he couldn't take advantage of his friend while she was hurting. If he did, he wouldn't be any better than Jarrod.

He gently pushed her away, taking his hand off of her tit. She looked up, terrified, "You don't want me?" A tear streaked her cheek.

"No, Anne! I do! But you're vulnerable right now and I don't want to take advantage of you. We're both coming off bad break-ups and not thinking clearly." He gave her a quick kiss, "Let's not do anything that we'll both regret in the morning."

"Ok... please hold me?"

"Of course." He wiped away her tears and hugged her tight. They both fell asleep, holding each other. When Anne's roommate peaked in, he was still on top of the covers, holding her tight.

Kevin and Anne both woke up to the morning sun's light. "Oh, shit, what time is it?"

Anne wearily looked at her clock, "It's only 7am." She stretched and Kevin watched in appreciation as her t-shirt stretched nicely over her tits.

"Like what you see?"

"I always have! But I have to get going and get ready for class. If I don't hurry, I'll be late for my 8 o'clock."

"Yuck, you have an early class?"

"Yeah, just unlucky this semester. I know it's Tuesday, but would you like to meet for lunch?"

Anne smiled at him shyly, "Yes, I'd like that."

"Ok, see you soon."

Kevin felt like he was floating as he went about his day. He randomly bumped into Mike between classes.

"Kevin, you look a lot happier this morning! What'd you do, get laid?"

Kevin blushed.

"You dog! So you and Stacey got back together?"

Kevin laughed, "Oh hell no! I actually spent the night with Anne. Her boyfriend dumped her Saturday night and she was taking it really badly." He held a hand up to stop Mike from interrupting, "Absolutely nothing happened. I was there to support her and we both just sort of passed out. I was still fully clothed! We're just friends!"

"Uh-huh. I saw the way she looked at you the last time we bumped into them. She's always carried a torch for you. From what I saw, she's a nice girl, so be careful with her!"

"I will! Hey, I gotta run, it was good to see you. Say hello to Sylvia for me!"

"Will do. We have to get together again soon."

At lunch, Kevin grabbed his food and went to the spot where he normally ate lunch with Anne and Christy on M/W/F's. He was surprised to see Christy sitting with Anne in their normal spot.

"Hey Christy, I thought you had a class right now."

"I do, but when I spoke with Anne on the phone, she sounded so much better. When I asked her why, she told me that you spent the night and I had to see for myself. You both look a lot happier today than yesterday."

"I feel a lot better. I'm sure that she told you nothing happened."

"We haven't gotten that far, but from her blush, SOMETHING happened."

Christy looked expectantly between Kevin and Anne, but neither spoke up. "Come on, tell Momma Christy!"

Kevin grinned at Anne, he was enjoying making Christy wait and finally getting to tease her for once. "Nothing happened."

"Bullshit! Now spill you two!"

"Nope, a gentleman never tells." He looked at Anne and cocked an eyebrow.

She giggled, "But girls always like to spill the dirt!" Christy crossed her arms and gave Anne a stern glance.

"Ok, fine. I cried on his shoulder all night and he held me. Then we kissed. That's it!"

"That's it? So what type of kiss? Brother-sister? It was more, wasn't it? Like something between lovers?"

"It was a very nice kiss. It might have led to more, but Kevin was a gentleman. I'm glad he stopped us as I know that I'm not ready for anything more." She reached out and took his hand, "Thank you for being a gentleman and my protector."

Kevin blushed at the praise. "Yeah, I'll be your knight in shining armor. Anytime you need a dragon, or errant boyfriend, slayed, give me a call."

"I'll do that!"

"Can you also be my knight in shining armor?" asked Christy, batting her eyes at him. "I may have a couple of guys I need you to slay for me."

Kevin laughed, "Maybe! A knight usually only works with one damsel in distress at a time. Well, I need to run to my next class. Thanks for lunch!"

He got up and left, not noticing Stacey sitting in a corner, a stricken look on her face.

That night, Lilly came home to hear Stacey sobbing in her bedroom. Lilly pushed her way into Stacey's room and sat down on her bed. Lilly laid down next to Stacey and brought her in for a hug. Stacey wrapped her arms around Lilly and started to cry harder.

"Shhhh, sweetie, what's wrong? Is it Kevin again?"

"Y... yes! I think... I think I'm losing him! And I love him so much!"

"What happened?"

"I... I saw him at the Student Union. He was happy!" She started to wail louder. "He.. he was with Anne and that bitch, Christy!"

Her sobs trailed off to hiccups as she tried to control herself. Lilly stroked her hair, giving her time to gather herself.

"But he was holding Anne's hand! And the way she looked at him, she wanted him! That slut!"

"Shhhhh, that's ok. You'll get him back if you want him."

"If I want him? Oh god, Lilly, I do want him back! I'll do anything!"

While Lilly had been comforting Stacey, she noticed that Stacey was only wearing a t-shirt and panties. Lilly held Stacey's head to her chest as she gently ran her fingers through her hair. She could smell the lingering scent of Stacey's shampoo. She leaned down to kiss the top of her head and stroked Stacey's cheek. Lilly could feel her nipples become stiff as she held Stacey tight. She subtly rubbed one breast against Stacey's head.

"Lilly?"

"Hmmm?"

"Why are you rubbing your tits against me?"

"I'm not!"

"You are too. And I can feel your nipples, this one is poking me in the ear!"

Lilly drew back in embarrassment, but Stacey followed her, planting a kiss on Lilly's lips. "Make me feel desired, Lilly! Make me forget about Kevin, at least for tonight!"

Lilly returned the kiss, then gently pushed Stacey back onto the bed, wiping away a tear. "Don't worry, I'll make you forget him, at least for tonight." And hopefully forever after too... she thought.

Lilly shucked her blouse and dropped her shorts, leaving her in a lacy bra and blue bikini panties. Stacey looked on appreciatively as Lilly cupped her breasts, raising them for Stacey's inspection.

"Do you like what you see?" Lilly asked in a husky voice.

"Oh yes, but I'd like it better if you took off your bra."

Lilly obliged by reaching back and unsnapping her bra. She shrugged to pull the straps off her shoulders, but she held the bra cups to her breasts, teasing Stacey. She swayed gently, bopping to music only she could hear. Stacey reached up and gently pulled the bra away from Lilly. Lilly briefly cupped her breasts, hiding them from Stacey's eyes. She dropped her hands and proudly displayed her breasts.

"Hmmm, those look good enough to eat!"

Lilly leaned forward until her nipples brushed against Stacey's cheeks. Stacey turned her head to take a nipple into her mouth. She gently sucked on it, reaching up to gently tweak the other. Lilly moaned as the sensations ran from her tits, down her spine to her pussy.

Tearing herself away from Stacey, Lilly stepped back from the bed. With a shy turn of her head, she grasped both sides of her panties and slowly began to work them down. As her mound was slowly revealed, she spun around, presenting her ass to Stacey. Lilly continued to slide her panties down over her hips. As they revealed the two perfect mounds that were her ass, she bent at the hip to pull her panties all the way down. Her pussy lips pushed through the globes of her ass, revealing themselves to Stacey. LIlly straightened, kicked away her panties and spun back to Stacey.

"Oh my, come here you beautiful girl!" gushed Stacey. She held out her arms in invitation and Lilly slowly moved towards her. Stacey buried her face in Lilly's breasts, kissing her way around them until she came to a nipple, lightly flicking it with her tongue. Lilly moaned in response.

"Now it's your turn to undress."

Stacey slipped from her bed and Lilly sat down in her place. Stacey slowly lifted the hem of her t-shirt, teasing the reveal of her tits as she barely exposed the bottom swell of her breasts before lowering the t-shirt again.

"Booo! Let me see them!"

"If you ask nicely enough!"

"Wench, show me your tits!"

Stacey laughed, "I don't think that's asking nicely."

"Take 'em off before I rip 'em off!"

In response, Stacey whipped the shirt off, then struck a pose that pushed her tits out for Lilly's inspection.

"Hmmmm, nice Stace! Now come here so I can take off the rest."

Stacey strutted to the side of the bed. Lilly reached out, grabbing her panties and yanking them down to her ankles.

"That's what you get for teasing me!" Lilly fell to her knees in front of Stacey and buried her face in her muff. As Lilly's tongue worked her magic, Stacey moaned in pleasure and pulled Lilly's head hard into her crotch. After a moment of working her, Lilly turned Stacey and pushed her onto the bed. She put Stacey's legs over her shoulders and gave her a long lick from her anus to her clit.

Stacey shuddered in delight, "Oh, god! That's so good!"

Lilly kissed her puffy, out labia, teasing first one side then the other. She nuzzled the sensitive skin at the crease of her thigh, then pulled back to blow gently on Stacey's clit, which was engorged and poking out of its protective hood.

"Lilly!" cried Stacey. "Stop teasing me! Fucking lick my pussy!" She grabbed Lilly's head and tried to force her down into her, but Lilly resisted.

"Tell me what you want! Let me hear it!"

"I want you to lick my clit and put a finger up my pussy!"

Lilly smiled to herself and took a delicate swipe at Stacey's clit, then twirled it with her tongue. She worked her way down Stacey's pussy, sucking and licking until she found Stacey's entrance. Rolling her tongue, she forced it as far into Stacey as she could, causing her to arch her back. Lilly then started to work Stacey's clit with a vengeance, swirling her tongue back and forth as she introduced a finger, up and into Stacey's hot tunnel. A second finger forced a loud cry from Stacey as she felt the second digit stretch her hole to accommodate the increased width. Lilly found the little bundle of nerves at the top of Stacey's vagina and rubbed it hard. The sensations caused Stacey to orgasm hard, crying out in pleasure.

When she pushed Lilly away from her clit, Lilly slipped from between her legs and crawled up Stacey. She planted her pussy on Stacey's face.

"Eat me!" Stacey obliged and soon had Lilly screaming out as she shook from her own orgasm. Lilly collapsed onto the bed and Stacey crawled up to cuddle her.

"Feel better now? Were you able to forget about Kevin for a bit?"

"Kevin who?"

"That's my girl." Lilly snuggled in closer to Stacey and they both let sleep claim them.

Kevin found himself spending more time with Anne, and Christy, than he did the previous semester. He and Anne met for lunch almost every day and saw each other several times a week in one of their various study groups.

Their ECON 485 study group reformed a week after their big blow-up, but it took a few meetings for the undercurrent of tension to dissipate. The current session was over and Anne and Christy were speaking softly in a corner as the guys packed up.

"Hey Kevin."

"What's up Caesar?"

"So, you and Anne?"

Kevin looked up and over at Caesar for a moment, "No. We're just friends. I'll admit that we're getting closer and spending more time together, but we both just went through bad break-ups, so we're taking it slow. Very slow."

"Uh-huh. Well, don't take it too slow. She's a nice, cute girl and I know for a fact that another guy has been sniffing around, trying to make small talk with her and flirt."

Kevin was shocked, "Oh! I didn't know that. Thanks." He sighed, "I guess I better sit down and talk to her."

He finished packing up and walked over to where Anne and Christy were still chatting.

"Hey Christy, mind giving us a minute?"

"Sure! I'll go put my things away."

Anne turned to look at Kevin, a coy smile on her face. "Hey Kev, so what can I do for you?"

Kevin took a deep breath, to gather his thoughts and his courage. "I know that we've been taking things slow, but I'd like to know if you'd like to get dinner with me on Thursday night?"

A big smile broke out on Anne's face, "I'd like that. Where and what time?"

"How about I pick you up at 6:30? I know a nice little mom 'n pop Italian place on Adams Avenue."

"That sounds yummy. I'll see you then!"

Dinner was very nice and Kevin enjoyed himself thoroughly. Kevin and Anne talked about everything and about nothing, happy to be in each other's company. At one point, his hand was resting on the table and Anne reached out to cover it with her own. Neither said anything about it, just enjoying the contact.

After dinner they took a nice stroll through a nearby park and held hands the entire time. Kevin didn't want the night to end, but they both had classes the next day. Kevin dropped her off at her room and she gave him a quick peck on the cheek as they hugged. The part of him that swelled at her touch wanted more, but he knew that it was still too soon for both of them.

The next day, Friday, Kevin shared the late morning class with Anne and Christy. As normal, they all had lunch together. Kevin didn't share his last class of the day with either of them, so he was alone when he walked out into the afternoon sun. He was very surprised to see Stacey waiting for him. She had tried calling him numerous times after they broke up, but Kevin was too hurt to answer and let them all go to voicemail.

"Kevin Stone, you are a hard guy to track down."

Stacey looked gorgeous, in a cream blouse with a deep v-neck that put her assets on display and a pair of tight jeans which accented her full ass. Her red hair was pulled back into a perky ponytail and she had on just a touch of makeup. She took his breath away, just like the first time they met and for the first time since they had started dating, he became tongue-tied again and stumbled over his words.

"Uh, St-Stacey. W-what are you doing here?"

"Looking for you! You won't take my calls or reply to my emails. You were always conveniently out when I dropped by your apartment, so I had to track you down at your classroom."

She suddenly became less sure of herself and looked towards the ground, "Can we go somewhere and talk a bit?"

Kevin found that his brain was turning to mush, so all he could do was say, "Ok."

Stacey looked up in relief and took one of his hands in her own. She led him around the corner of the building and found an empty bench in the sun.

Kevin was confused, warring emotions and the fuzziness still cloaking his thoughts made his question come out harsher than he wanted. "So, what do you want?"

Stacey was surprised at the hostility in Kevin's voice and it struck at her heart. A tear ran down her face, "I just wanted to say that I was sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I..." The pain was too much and she put her head down, stood up and fled down the sidewalk. Kevin was stunned, but couldn't move to chase her down.

Conflicting emotions again ran through his head - elation at her hurt, sadness at her sorrow, confusion, and a nagging something else that he didn't understand. He sighed, grabbed his bag and walked towards the parking lot and his car.

Kevin met Anne for drinks on Saturday night, but he was still unsettled from his brief conversation with Stacey and was quiet and withdrawn for much of the night. While he was talking with Anne, he found himself looking around for Stacey. He simultaneously felt guilty for looking for her, but also a bit melancholy that she wasn't around.

Anne noticed that she did not have his full attention.

"Hey, Kevin. You ok?"

"Uh, yeah. I'm fine, why're you asking?"

"You just seem distracted, like you are thinking about something else."

"No, no. Maybe I'm just a little tired."

"Or about someone else."

He couldn't hide the blush and wasn't able to look her in the eyes.

"Hey, it's ok, Kev. It's only been a couple of weeks since you two broke up. I know that things are still raw. I'm still upset about that douche Jerrod."

He sighed, "I'm sorry, Anne. You deserve better, but yes, little things will sometimes remind me of Stacey."

"Do you still love her?" She anxiously searched his face while he examined his feelings.

"Yes, I do." Anne's face fell. "But her cheating, it tore my heart out and I can never forgive or trust her again. We were together for months, so it's going to take a while to get over her." He took her hand, "But you're helping!"

A radiant smile came over Anne's face and he couldn't help but lean over the table and give her a soft kiss. She sighed in pleasure, despite the kiss being brief. Kevin took her home and dropped her off at her apartment. He hugged her and with a shy and apologetic smile, gave her a good night kiss on the cheek.

Stacey walked into her apartment, her eyes red from weeping. Lilly took one look at her face and rushed to her side, folding her into a hug.

"What's wrong sweetie? Was it Kevin, again?"

"Y... yes! I saw him today between classes, and... and I waved and smiled at him. But he looked away and pretended not to see me! I've lost him!"

Tears were streaming down Stacey's face and Lilly felt heartbroken that her friend was hurting so much.

"C'mon, have you had dinner yet? No? Then let's get something in you and then to bed. It'll be better in the morning."

True to her word, Lilly helped find something for Stacey to eat, although she just picked at her food and barely ate. Lilly then helped her clean up, change into a t-shirt and then into bed.

"Stay with me, please!"

"Ok." Lilly felt a flash of joy run through her. She helped Stacey into bed and then curled up next to her, holding her tight as Stacey cried herself to sleep.

Stacey slowly woke up the next morning, spooned up behind someone. She imagined it was Kevin and her hand was cupping the firm pectoral muscles of his chest. She gently stroked it, only realizing as she climbed out of her hazy sleep, that she was stroking a large, soft mound that could only be the breast of another girl. She could smell the faint scent of Lilly's strawberry shampoo, feel the soft roundness of her ass pushed against Stacey's groin.

Lilly rolled over to face her, "Hey beautiful, it's about time to get up and get ready for class."

A flash of disappointment went through Stacey as she had wanted Kevin to be in bed with her. "Hey Lilly. Thanks for helping me last night. You're the best roomie, ever!"

Lilly blushed, "Aww, if you keep that up, we're going to be late to class!"

Stacey knew Kevin's schedule, so she took to walking through the walkways she thought he would use to get to his next class. Depending on where and when her classes were, she wasn't always able to see him at every break, but over the course of the next week, she managed to walk by him at least once per day. He always studiously ignored her and never made eye contact or returned her 'Hello'.

Stacey was growing frustrated at his refusal to interact with her, if only with a look and wave. Finally, she stood in the middle of the sidewalk as he approached. She stepped in front of him and when he tried to walk around her, she stepped in front of him again, laying a slim hand on his chest.

"Kevin. Look at me!"

He sighed, "What do you want? You broke my heart once already. Are you going to kick me when I'm down?"

A tear slid down Stacey's face. "No," she whispered. "I've missed you and I just wanted to talk."

He gave her a disbelieving look.

"Please?"

The tears and pleading voice were tearing at Kevin and he felt a great burst of empathy at the distress she was feeling. The love he still felt for her warred with the sense of betrayal and distrust. Those feelings didn't stop him from taking a step forward and wrapping her in his arms. She immediately melted into him, molding her body to his. The habits of the previous months came flooding back and he kissed the top of her head. He felt a faint shudder run through her body and he wasn't sure if it was a sob of relief or one of pain.

"Ok, we can talk. Tonight? At 'our' coffee shop? How about at 7pm?"

She looked up to him hopefully and rapidly nodded her head. "Thank you!"

She hugged him hard once again, then quickly disengaged and almost ran off, wiping at her eyes. Kevin watched her walk away. He couldn't help but watch her shapely ass while he wondered what he was getting himself back into.

Kevin gave Mike a call when his last class was over.

"You're what? I thought you and Anne were a thing now?"

"Well... we're taking things slowly, cause, you know. And we really haven't discussed... us."

"Dude, you really suck at communicating things sometimes. So how do you think Anne is going to feel when she finds out you met Stacey?"

"Shit, I didn't think of that."

"Yep, thinking with your other head again, aren't you?"

"Fuck off dude."

Kevin didn't say it with any heat and Mike knew that he was just blowing off steam.

"So, you think I should call Anne first?"

"I don't know dude. Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows how girls will take something like this? Let me call Sylvia. Maybe you should call Anne's friend, what's-her-face, Christine or..."

"Christy. Yeah, she might bite my head off first, but she'll talk to me. Then probably run straight to Anne."

"Dude, you are so screwed."

Kevin sighed, "I know. Thanks. Let me give Christy a call."

Christy picked up on the second ring.

"Hi Kevin! How's it going?"

"Hey, Christy, how'd you know it was me?"

"My parents pay for caller ID, so your name came up."

"Cool. So I have a question for you, but you gotta promise to keep it confidential."

"Why?"

"Because if you won't, I won't ask you my question."

"Huh, maybe I don't want to know what your question is then."

"Ok, bye Christy."

"Wait! Wait... ok, I promise I won't blab to anyone."

"Thanks Christy." Kevin took a deep breath to gather his thoughts, "I'm going to see Stacey for coffee tonight. Nothing other than that. But..."

"That's a good god damned big but!"

Kevin sighed, "I know. My question is, should I tell Anne ahead of time, which I think I should. And then how do I tell her?"

The line was quiet for a minute and Kevin wasn't sure if Christy was still there.

"Christy?"

"Yeah, just a minute. That's a load of shit you just dumped on me. I'm thinking. I'm also considering whether or not I should go to your place to put my foot up your ass or not!"

Kevin started to laugh, "I know! I'm such a fucking asshole, but I'm trying my best not to hurt Anne."

"Then don't go see Stacey."

"I'm sorry, I told her that I would."

"Tell her you can't make it."

It was Kevin's turn to be silent for a minute. "I can't do that," he softly said. "I think I still love her."

"Fuck."

"Yeah."

"Ok, let me think." She was quiet for a few more minutes. "Ok, you need to tell her and tell her now, before you go. It'd be best in person, but I'm guessing you won't have time. Call her. Lay it out. Try to be gentle."

"Yeah, I'll do my best. We've talked, she knows that I still have feelings for Stacey."

"That won't make much difference to her heart, but call her now... asshole."

The line went dead as Christy hung up. Kevin looked at his cell phone for a moment and shook his head. He finally mustered the courage to dial Anne's number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Anne!"

"Hey Kevin, nice to hear from you. You busy tonight?"

"Um, well... yes. I am and that's why I wanted to call."

"That sounds ominous."

"Not really, but sorta yeah. Well. Stacey hunted me down today and I agreed to sit down and talk to her over a coffee."

Kevin could hear Anne gasp in surprise. "It's nothing, but..."

"But you still feel something for her."

There was a long pause before Kevin answered, "Yes. I do. But what I still feel for her is outweighed by her cheating. Angela cheated on me repeatedly and broke my heart. Never again."

"Ok."

"Ok?"

"Yes, go see her. You have some unresolved issues that you two need to work through. But please come back to me after."

"I will."

"Ok, see you tonight?"

"That's the plan!"

After Kevin hung up, he went back to his apartment and tried to do some studying, but he was too keyed up and nervous about seeing Stacey.

She was sitting at a table when he walked into the coffee shop. Stacey had two cups of coffee in front of her, one with a bit of cream and the other black, just like he liked it. He slid into a chair opposite her.

She looked up at him with hopeful, pleading eyes, "Kevin, thank you for coming. I know that it was hard for you."

He shrugged acknowledgement and waited for her to begin. He tried to harden his heart against what he knew was coming.

She took him not arguing with her as a hopeful sign. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry."

He nodded his understanding.

"I was a complete bitch to you for several weeks. I was hurt and angry, but I wasn't fair to you. You may not believe me, but I was planning on making it up to you on Saturday, the day after... after you saw me in the dance club downtown."

She watched apprehensively as Kevin stared impassively at her. For once, she could not read what emotions were roiling beneath his exterior gaze and that realization scared her.

"I know that my dancing with that guy wouldn't have passed any sort of boyfriend test."

Kevin raised an eyebrow, "What does that mean?"

"It means, I did something with him that I would not have done in front of you. It was only dancing, but I would never have disrespected you by doing that in front of you."

"Then why did you do it?"

"I was still mad and needed to blow off some steam, to get everything out so I could freely make it up to you the next day. Then I had too much to drink and Lilly and I started to dance, then there were the two guys and I started dancing with one and I finally was able to forget the hurt and let go and I wanted to stop but Lilly wanted to keep dancing and she wouldn't let me quit and she encouraged me to get close to the guy." She took a deep breath, "But Lilly and I left alone and we both went straight back to our apartment. I passed out and then Lilly was calling me from the door." She was quiet for a moment. "Yes, I danced with the guy, but he was nothing. And... I didn't think that I'd ever lose you, that you'd always come back to me, no matter what I did."

Kevin snorted.

"I know now that isn't true. In my hubris, I had forgotten what you went through with that other girl. Sylvia reminded me and I can now see how that must have hurt you and how much I hurt you. I'm sorry that I danced with that guy and I'm sorry that I hurt you. I'll never cheat on you!"

She paused, searching his eyes in a vain effort to see what he was feeling. Kevin studied her in turn and saw nothing but love and worry. His heart ached at her beauty and her need for him. The question: Stacey or Anne? kept swirling around his mind, over and over. Stacey or Anne? Stacey or Anne? Stacey or Anne?

He closed his eyes to picture them both, barely hearing Stacey's breath catch as she feared he was closing his eyes to push her away. Kevin tried to see himself with both, which one he might want to spend the rest of his life with.

End of Part 2

Author's Note:

I realize that I may have spelled Jerrod, Anne's (ex-)boyfriend, a couple of different ways. From Kevin's viewpoint, he doesn't really care how Jarrod spelled his name.
