Did Not See This Coming Part 3

We first read about Tom Walker's betrayal here:
Tom's in Canada and meets a singer and her mum in part two:
I found a house I wanted to buy in Dawson Creek and went to Photos Unlimited and asked if I could speak to the manager. I waited for about five minutes and a nice young woman came out, she had a First Nations Pride tee shirt on. I asked her if we could talk in private. She was wearing a name tag of Olivia, just her first name.
She gave me the side eye, perv stare. I said quietly, "I want to buy a new identity, pass port and Medicare card. I'm not a criminal, I'm running from a cheating wife in Washington State and I do not want her to track me down and I think I've found someone.
By the way, my mom was born on the reservation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma."
She continued to glare at me. "I hate bullshit artists."
I said, "I can show you on Ancestry. com if that works."
She crooked her finger and whirled around and walked toward a door and looked over her shoulder and said, "Come on."
We went to her office which adjoined a large booth. She said, "Do you have an address? "1708 Cedarwood Court, Dawson Creek, BCV1G 4L8."
She said, "Oh that's a good value. Four bedrooms?"
"I gave a ride to this teenager just outside Langley and fed her and brought her home, her mom's a nurse at the sports medicine clinic. Her daughter can sing her ass off, world class, I know I'm a singer. She ran away from home because one her mom's boyfriends grabbed her. Her mom looks an overripe peach."
"The daughter is Grace Lively, she sings at my parish, Notre Dame, I do too."
"What does buying this house have to do with them?"
"I was worried about Grace and to some extent, her mom and thought I could make a difference."
She got a sour look on her face, "Her dad, died when she was little. Grace it turns out was not his baby, She's a total freak, she started a swinger's group."
"Don't take this the wrong way, but how do you know this?"
She stared at me and finally said, "She's fucked my dad, my brother and my ex."
I sat down and quietly told her about Anna, Eddie and her hot wife shit, aborting our kids, the whole thing. "She can sing, I thought I could make a difference."
"Buy the house, "she said, "you're a good man. No sense in you getting lost again."
She was closer to me as I looked into her smoldering eyes and she leaned in and brushed my lips with hers. I moaned, she unbuttoned my jeans, her kissing more insistent. She had my dick in her hand and she said, "You have lovely dick, Cherokee you said, " I nodded, "good."
Our clothes flew off. She pushed me on my back onto the floor and clambered on top of me. She reached behind her and grabbed me and the head between her legs and I pushed up.
"Wait slow down, been a bit and you're so thick, let me get there, baby."
My heart soared on the 'baby' and I said, "Olivia, you are so beautiful."
"Call me Livy, " as I was all the way in, "you're way bigger than my ex."
Her almond colored skin showed these beautiful breasts with dark brown areolas
maybe a B-cup. I gently rolled her nipple on her left breast between my thumb and fore finger, then both of my hand went to work and she was lost in her head with her eyes closed.
Her eyes opened up wide and she said, "Nobody's ever made love to me, your dick is perfect, I can't last much longer."
I said, "Cum for me Livy, " as I pinched her nipples and she undulated wildly atop me, staring into my eyes, as she shook and shuddered and collapsed onto my chest.
I continued to stroke in and out of her rubbing her ass and up and down her back and she rolled into first one after shock and then a third orgasm. I felt my balls start to boil and pounded her filling her up with my seed. Her face was against my cheek as she cooed into my ear. She whispered, "Nobody ever, baby, you're going to be a daddy, I'm ovulating. I'm a treat you right."
The sense of wonder and my heart soaring filled me. I said, "Jesus I hope so. How many do kids do you want?"
"You volunteering?"
"I love you Livy, where you been?"
"See, I knew you were a keeper, so smart."
We both chuckled. She played with my hair, brushing it around with her hand. "Let's take those pictures. Get this show moving."
I had reddish blond hair as a kid, but now it was grayish with some white streaks. I had a light blue button down shirt on and with my jeans and she did a direct on shot and then one ninety degree shot both directions.
"So Teddy is what I'm working with here?"
I nodded yes.
"Okay, this will take a couple of hours. Just down the block is a Wok Box, surprise me, I'm eating for two now baby."
I knew she was not lying to me. Just between you and me, I was falling so fast for her, like a rock into a deep well.
I ordered a double order of Pad Thai, Szechuan noodle stir fry with lamb and Filipino
Beef Adobo along with two boxes of steamed white rice.
I was back within thirty minutes and was pleased to see her adeptness with chop sticks. Livy was five foot seven, maybe one hundred thirty pounds, with no apparent fat on her body. She was systematic. She had plates for us and she would scoop some of the rice onto her plate and then cover it with one of the orders. She had put her hair into a pony tail.
She looked up at me and said, "What?"
"You are so real, no girl bs, total woman and you're the most beautiful woman alive sweetness. You make eating the most sensual thing I've ever seen. I'm falling in love with you Livy, I'll never hurt you, I give you my word."
She said, "I know baby, now eat up. You're going to need your strength. You can go to the credit union this afternoon too."
We finished our food and I helped her clean up. She patted my chest and said, "I love you Teddy bear. It'll be done here with your stuff in twenty minutes."
I sat down and watched her. It may seem as if this was too fast, but it was not. I felt so betrayed with Anna and now I was gone and she would never, ever find me. I'm not into physics, but it was like two collapsing stars banged into each other to create a Super Nova.
With my new passport, driver's license and Medicare card in hand. I went down to Lake View Credit Union and opened an account then wired all $600,000 from Gesa Credit Union located in Walla Walla. Then I checked my balance in Kitsap Credit union and it was $175,000 dollars and I wired half of that, $87,500, to my attorney in Seattle Felicia Feinberg.
I walked into a store and bought an up to date smartphone with a plan to my new address. Speaking of which I went to the Realtor. com office and made an offer with a twenty percent down payment and though the listing was at $415,000 my offer was $405,000 with an $81,000 down payment contingent upon successful financing. I signed the offer and the realtor asked where I banked and I said, "Lake View Credit Union."
He said, "Cash offer?"
"No it's contingent on financing from there. As the offer says."
"Okay, can I get the down payment, then?"
I said, "If the owner signs the offer you will get $81,000 payable to the owner, " I guess I wasn't as stupid as I looked.
I called Felicia Feinberg and it went straight through to her. "Felicia, this is Tom Walker. Fine how are you."
"Actually I left Anna, she aborted four of my children and has had multiple affairs and none of the children are mine. I am living now in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. I have changed my name and have Canadian Citizenship now. I wired in $87,500 to you from Kitsap County Credit Union. I read her the account number and wiring instructions for Lake View. Can you wire that in today or tomorrow?"
Felicia said, "Sure. Umm divorce?"
"If she wants to divorce me due to abandonment, that's fine. I want it to be as if I never lived for her. A bad dream."
"Are you okay?"
"I'm with someone and I'm going to be a dad."
"Wow, that's fast."
"Total immersion."
I went back to the Credit Union and met with the same lady and said, "There should be another $87,500 dollars from an attorney's office tomorrow. I made an offer on a home on Cedarwood Grove. The down will be $81,500 and I want to finance $324,000 on your five year fixed rate arm.
All the money arrived and Livy and I went through premarital counseling at her Church, Notre Dame.
I had to prove I was Catholic and went to St. Anne's in Seattle growing up. A phone call to the church office and I said to Sister Mary Claire as I walked out into the hall and said, Sr. I've changed my name, Anna turned into a floozy and none of my kids are mine. He's going to ask you if Teddy Benedict is Catholic, that's my new name. Please help me.
She said, "Are you going to mass?"
"Yes, but until I can prove I'm Catholic, I can't partake of the Sacraments."
She said, "Teddy a rose by any name is a rose."
We went to mass on Sunday and Friday, I joined the choir with Livy, Grace was in the choir too.
The house closed during advent, Livy had a nice baby bump. We were married January 8th. Jeri Marie Benedict was born on April 2nd. She weighted seven pounds two ounces and was nineteen inches and she had dark hair like Livy and had slightly less almond colored skin than her mom.
Grace's mom was arrested for trafficking in meth on June 6th. This was her third felony and she pleaded guilty and ratted out a couple of guys.
Livy working with the Pastor at church, said we'd be her guardian and just like that we were a two daughter home. Grace within days started calling Livy mom and me, dad.
Our home had five bedrooms and I set up a home recording studio with one of my desktop computers with Logic Pro for being a digital Audio workstation, microphones, headphones, XLR Cables, Acoustic treatment, MIDI Controller, mike stands, Pop filter and ear training software. We had a basic drum kit, a Fender bass I had and I found a Les Paul Gibson in a pawn shop for $150 dollars. Lastly, I had a two digital cameras.
We covered Gotye's "Somebody I used to know with Grace and Livy soaring and I came in on the chorus in perfect harmony with my voice in the high register with a growl. We sang it five times and had it down.
We then covered Sean Rowe's version of the 1952 Vincent Black Lightening and I was way down below and they wailed a full register above me and we did it twice and nailed it.
Livy nursed Jeri and both fell asleep. Grace made us peanut butter and jelly with shaved iceberg lettuce we both had coffee. Just the two of us took a whack at a very spare cover of the talking heads cover of the Talking Heads Take Me To The River. I used a looper to add the Grace pounding the bass and drum kits and at the end I worked the Gibson. When we listened the playback we were shocked at both the difference as we both sang at a much higher register than David Byrne and how good it was.
Finally, Livy was up and she listened and said it was perfect. We then took a shot at Johnny Cash's version of God's Going To Cut You Down.
I said, "I want to do Tyler Childer's Rock Salt and Nails. Just me singing and Grace playing an acoustic guitar."
'By the banks of the river, where the willows hang down And the wild birds thy warble with a low moaning sound Way down in the hollow where the river runs cold I first listened to the lies that you told
Now I lie on my back and I see your sweet face Annie And the past I remember, time can't erase And the letters you wrote me, they were written in shame And I know that your conscience still echoes my name
Now if the ladies were blackbirds, if the ladies were thrushes Well, I'd lie there for hours in the chilly cold marshes And if the woman were squirrels with them high bushy tails Well, I'd load up my shotgun with rock sat and nails I'd load up my shot gun'
"Livy said, Jesus Teddy that's incredible. He's one of our favorites and your's is way different and the anguish in your voice. That's perfect."
Then we did Lou Reed's Sweet Jane, Grace and Livy sang, I used the looper to drop in the drum kit, I played the rhythm, then I did the lead. They were incredible singing powerfully in the high register not like the Cowboy Junkies ethereal version. Nope it was powerfully good.
We listened to them all over again and decided we would not change them at all.
I set up a YouTube channel, paying attention to copyrights and permission and loaded them up, one at a time thirty minutes a part all six of them. Our name was the Dawson Creek Warblers.
Two days later I received a call from a talent scout asking if we wanted to go on Canada's Got Talent. We watched it a lot, but unanimously we thought Howie Mandel was an asshole and racist.
I checked our uploads wondering if there was a connection between the call and how the uploads were doing. I screamed, "Lily and Grace come here!
They arrived, Grace had on Lily's soft sling carrying Jeri against her chest and Lily had a knife with peanut butter on it, they both said, "What?"
"Somebody I used to know, has four million hits. 1952 Vincent Black Lightening has seven and one half million hits. Take me to the River has four point five million hits. God's going to cut you down, fourteen point two million hits, Sweet Jane twelve million hits, "
Livy said, "Baby, what about Rock Salt and Nails?"
"Twenty four million hits."
My phone rang it was Breakfast Television Canada's number one morning show and they wanted to know if we could come on next Monday.
"Sure, what time?"
"Five thirty your time."
"We said okay."
"There were dozens of texts from music labels. We need an agent, to negotiate a contract so we don't rat fucked. I'm going to call somebody in Seattle, her name is Felicia Feinberg, "both Grace and Livy raised their eyebrows, "she's a queer attorney."
I called her and put her on speaker, "Felicia this is Teddy, my wife Livy and daughter Grace are on the phone with me, how are you?"
"Hi ladies, you too Teddy."
"Could you go on YouTube now and look up the Dawson Creek Warblers please."
"Wow Teddy you lucked out, beautiful ladies. Wow lots of hits, "then the Somebody I used to know was playing, then she clicked on Rock Salt and Nails. Jesus Christ Teddy."
I said, "Felicia in my texts I have dozens of record labels asking to represent us. We need an agent and an entertainment lawyer, can you help us?"
She said, "My wife Sofie Tsakalakis is the best in the business. She would know the agent answer, better than me. Can I put her on?"
We all said, "Of course."
"Honey, I love you too, I have some clients, look up the Dawson Creek Warblers on YouTube. Okay?"
"Jesus honey the whole entertainment industry is going nuts about them," we could hear some clicks, "Honey meet Teddy, Livy and Grace Benedict, they are the Dawson Creek Warblers, they desperately need an entertainment lawyer and an agent. It seems a half dozen or so labels want to sign them to a deal."
"This is Sofie, I will send Fels my standard engagement letter and once you execute that via a PDF docu-sign we can execute quickly, agent wise you're a indie rock and rockabilly. Sort of folkie too."
Right then my email pinged. "Um, Felicity we just sign this right?"
She said, "Yes."
I executed it as did Livy and we sent it back.
Sofie said, "I'm on this, my number is 206 622-1941 text me the labels and names. I will fiend them off and depending on whose left will affect who we go with in terms of agents. Refer all inquiries to me. Okay?
"Should we do Canada's Got Talent?"
She responded, "No you're past that and you could do a cameo, but you don't want Howie Mandel to shit on you."
Two days later we had an agent, Shondra Willis. I googled her and she was very queer and she'd hooked up with her women clients.
I immediately called Sofie and she picked up. "Sofie this is Teddy Benedict, Shondra Willis has hooked up with three of her clients, I've lived with infidelity in a previous relationship. I will not stand for that nor do I want to tempt fate. Somebody else, she's a predator."
Just then Livy came in and I mouthed "Sofie, this is Livy, some cunt just called me up and said she's make me rich and steal me from Teddy and rock my world. This is a major fuck up!
"She sent me a picture of her cunt!"
"Sophie, "I said, "Maybe we made a mistake here. You have not said a thing. I'm going to call Felicia and look for another lawyer."
She said nothing so I hung up. I called Felicity who picked up immediately and between Livy and me we relayed what had happened. Especially how she just stopped talking."
"Okay, she said. Sophie has been having a thing, with her, she wants to have an open marriage with her and she was probably fucking her when you talked to her."
"We are at a dead stop here. I want nothing to do with either of them. Find us somebody else, she hit fucking hit on Livy, said she was going to steal her from me. You're telling me that Sophie knew that. Real time. Did you know Felicity?"
"I was worried."
"But you let it proceed nonetheless. I'm hugely disappointed and I think we're done with you too."
Livy flew into my arms. "Thank you baby. She saw the First nation pride tee shirt."
"Livy are you bi-sexual?"
"No I am not husband, a drunk women kissed me at party when I was in high school."
My phone rang it was Felicity. I answered and said, "Hey what's up?"
"Well, I got a text from Sophie and Shondra and Sophie is leaving me for Shondra. I called Ted Lerner and they have a stable of entertainment lawyers and agents. He'll send those to you."
I said, "I'm sorry Felicity."
"It's been coming."
