Chapter 1: Divine Attraction
The hot sun was beating down overhead as Kim squinted at her phone. She was holding it tightly, like a lifeline thrown to a drowning sailor at sea. Waiting anxiously for the next message to come through, she saw "Beth is typing..." and sighed softly to herself. She took a sip of her iced caramel macchiato. Setting it down on the table in front of her, she glanced at the empty seat across the table. It was a reminder of the fact that she was now alone, left in the dust by another boyfriend.
The phone perked up but it was a ringtone instead of an incoming message. Kim answered.
"Sorry, my fingers hurt from all the typing." Beth's voice was calm as usual. "Talking is just easier. You're texting a mile a minute."
"Sorry, I'm just frustrated and upset," answered Kim. "I thought Jerry was different from other guys I've dated. I'm just striking out over here."
"Yeah Kim, he was no different," Beth's voice answered. "You are falling for the wrong guys. He was really dragging you down, too. I tried to tell you."
"Well, he's not wrong. I do carry a few extra pounds. Being short doesn't help."
"That's not true. You're a cutie, hun," Beth was always supportive. "You're putting too much stock in what that asshole thinks. You were too trusting of him in general, really. You knew he was going out with an ex and look what happened."
"He said they were going out with a group, not out alone and then back to his place," Kim said. She sighed in frustration. "It's nice of you to say the kind words, but I don't look that great. I'm out of shape." She took a sip of coffee. "Even Barrista Barry at the cafe doesn't notice me... still."
"Forget Barrista Barry," Beth scolded her. "Look, I can't get together tonight but let's go out to dinner tomorrow."
"Chinese?" Kim perked up.
"You know I'm always up for that," Beth replied. "Oh, and remind me to tell you about this mythology exhibit coming up at the Museum of Fine Arts in the Fall."
"Oooo sounds good. I'll text you about dinner tomorrow, then," Kim said.
"Catch ya later, chickie. Oh, and tell your Mom I said Hi if you talk to her." Beth hung up.
Kim put down the phone down and took at look at her watch. It was just after 2 PM and she was at her favorite cafe on the corner of Market Street and Main. It was a beautiful June day. The outdoor seating was mostly taken, which was typical for a Saturday afternoon. The air was warm, and her iced macchiato usually went down smoothly and refreshed her on a day like this. Today, however, she couldn't help but feel it was a bit bland to the taste, or maybe she had the bad taste of a frustrating romance in her mouth.
The previous night she had been supposed to go out with her latest attempt at love, Jerry, but he had cancelled supposedly to go out with friends who were in from out of town. It had turned out that it was just one friend, an ex-girlfriend, and so Kim had taken a backseat in Love.
This wasn't the first time something like this had happened, either. Kim knew she should listen to Beth. Kim was always getting drawn in by the wrong guys. She knew that her on-again, off-again attraction to the cute barrista at the cafe was not the answer. It was just a desperate attempt to find validation. She took another sip, thinking her pick-me-up might pick up her spirits, but no use. She looked at it and decided she just didn't have the appetite for it. Maybe today was a good day to go back to her apartment and curl up alone with a book.
Kim got up from her table, grabbing her purse and putting her phone inside. She picked up her iced coffee and turned to throw the rest of it into the trash.
Smack! As she turned and took a step, a tall man that was walking by crashed into into her hard.
"Oh!" Said Kim as she struggled not to drop her coffee.
"Sorry!" said the man, his voice friendly, if surprised. "I didn't see you there. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. I managed not to spill any of my macchiato on myself. I feel like I hit a brick wall, though. Whew!" She laughed and looked up at the man's face.
The stranger had curly, dark hair over a handsome face, beautiful smile and light skin. Kim looked and saw the deepest blue eyes she had ever laid hers on. He smiled like an old friend warmly down at her. When she noticed how handsome he was, Kim quickly looked down and fiddled with her purse pretending she might have dropped something.
"I'm so glad," said the stranger. "I was in a hurry and I think I bumped into you a bit hard."
Kim gathered herself and looked up at him again, not caring that her shoulder was suddenly sore. "It could've been worse," she answered, and offered a compliment. "And if I'm going to be bumped, I'd want it to be by a handsome guy with beautiful blue eyes."
He seemed genuinely surprised by her compliment. "Oh, thank you so much," he said, visibly flattered. He stood for a moment as if considering, then spoke again. "I think I bumped your shoulder a bit hard. I hope it's okay." He reached out and touched her shoulder, a look of concern on his face. She felt a bit flush as she looked up at him.
The stranger's hand slid from her shoulder down the arm of her t-shirt, over her skin and to her hand. She could feel the hairs on her arm standing up, and a tingle went up her spine as his fingertips grazed over her skin. The warmth of his touch was matched only by the warmth of his face and smile as they looked at eachother. His eyes were entrancing.
Kim realized she was staring. "Oh shit," she said awkwardly, almost dropping her drink. She looked down and cleared her throat, trying to find her voice. "My shoulder is okay, thank you. But I need to get going, I'm late for an appointment."
"Maybe we'll bump into eachother again, sometime," said the tall stranger as Kim threw her coffee into the trash and began to walk away.
"Holy shit," Kim thought to herself, her wobbly legs leading her away as her stomach did somersaults. She walked to the crosswalk and crossed the street to the public park. She sat on the first park bench she saw, and felt her knees shaking. She caught her breath. "Damnit!" She thought. "He made a move on me and I couldn't do a thing! I don't even know his name!"
Her mind raced and her heart was ready to jump out of her chest as she thought about the run-in. Not knowing what to do, she decided to head home. Kim lived in a studio apartment down the street a few blocks from the cafe, on the third floor of an apartment building that looked just as much like a college dorm from the outside as it did a building in a suburb.
Once she was home, Kim found she couldn't get her mind off the gorgeous stranger. Leaning over the sink and looking into the mirror of her bathroom, she splashed cold water on her face. "Holy shit he was hot," she thought.
She looked down at her waistline and hips in the mirror. Turning sideways, she gave herself a critical look in the mirror. "I'm definitely carrying some exytra, here. Summer resolution: lose weight." He thought to herself out loud.
Soon she was in a jogging outfit and out the door. It was warm but the Summer air was refreshing. It had been months since she had run, and she forgot how invigorating it was. Today, though, she also had something else invigorating her. She found herself wondering about the handsome stranger at the cafe. "What does he do? Wonder if he has a girlfriend. Have I ever seen him at the cafe before? Wonder if I would see him there again." She ran through the public park as per her usual route, but decided to adjust her course to run over to where the coffee shop was.
As she approached the coffee shop, Kim slowed down to look across the busy street at the outdoor seating. She didn't see the face she was looking for. "I'm such a stalker. I think I'm obsessing," she thought. She could see his face clearly in her mind. For a moment she remembered how she felt when he had touched her arm. She ran her fingers lightly over her own skin to feel that way again, but it wasn't the same. Suddenly she realized she was thinking about him. It had been such a brief meeting, but she couldn't get his face out of her mind. She retraced in her memory the smooth lines of his face, and those beautiful blue eyes. She thought to try to stop herself, but but decided to lose herself in it. She thought of the touch of his hand, the smile under his dark hair. She smiled and lost herself in desire.
Later that evening, Kim had decided to stay home. The sting of losing a guy was still fresh, even though she had the distraction of thinking about someone else. She just wanted to stay in and have a quiet evening. She lie in bed, reading a book. This was her break-up routine: reading a trashy romance novel when she was getting over a guy. But the handsome stranger was still on her mind.
She was still asking herself more questions. Would she run into him again? Was she obsessing? Was he really that alluring? Deciding not to text Beth, who would definitely tell her she was obsessing, she decided to read. She had a hard time concentrating on reading her book. She eventually gave up and turned her light off to go to sleep early.

It was a sunny afternoon in the park, and in a dreamy haze Kim suddenly saw the tall stranger. He was wearing jeans and a plain, blue t-shirt. The air was crisp and cool and felt like morning. A scent came to her from his direction of a handsome cologne.
She approached him, her steps on the gravel path crunching beneath her feet. She smiled at him, and he acknowledged her with a smile of his own and winked. It was as though he were an old lover returning after a long absence. As she came to him, they both reached out their arms in embrace. She felt his strong, warm arms around her hips and back, enveloping her. She slung her arms around his neck holding him close.
She pulled him to her, and he leaned in willingly. She closed her eyes as he kissed her lips. She opened her mouth welcomingly. The only things that mattered in the world were his passionate kiss and strong embrace. His hand slid down her back and over her ass, and her lips vibrated against his "Mmmmm..." as they kissed.
With a startle Kim awakened. The morning sun was streaming into her bedroom and a cool, light breeze came brought the sounds of morning bustle from the street outside.
"Shit! Just a dream!" She punched her pillow, rolled over and groaned. Placing a hand on her breast lightly she realized she was incredibly turned on. "Oh come on, he wasn't that sexy, right?" She was half scolding, half wondering to herself. "Is this really how I'm starting my day?"
Frustrated, she picked up her romance novel to distract herself. Her mind wandered and she struggled to stay on task and read. She read a page. She read it again. No use, she was too distracted. There was only one thing on her mind.
She put her book down and slid under the covers of her comfortable bed. Reaching down, she pulled her nighty up and slid her fingers over her labia slowly.
"Ohhhh," she moaned extra softly, as if hiding from someone who might be listening. She reached for her aching, wanting clit and started to massage it. She quickly got warm and moist and felt her pleasure building. All she could think of was his face, and she thought about his dick: size, thickness and every detail that she didn't know but pretended she did.
A jolt ran through her and her body jerked. As she came, she stifled a cry. Her back arched and she pressed her finger against her clit as if she could assuage the tidal wave. "Wow that was quick," she thought out loud. "Fuck I was so turned on."
Having satisfied her desire, Kim jumped out of bed and got a start to her day. After a quick breakfast, she looked at herself in the mirror. "This twenty four year old body could use some tuning up," she thought. Kim felt good the day after her first jog in a while, and was determined to start a new workout regimen.
By mid-morning she had her running clothes on and was getting ready to go. She left the apartment building and ran along the side of the street, toward the park. The warm air and the Sunday morning sounds of the city waking greeted and invigorated her. She also felt energized by a new resolve. She took her new, altered running route by the cafe -- no sighting of her mystery man. By the time she finished, showered and ran a few errands Sunday was passing by and it was approaching coffee time: 1pm.
"I wonder if I would run into him again," she wondered to herself. Just in case, she put on her cutest outfit: pink tank top and shorts, with her long, dark hair flowing down straight to her shoulders. Looking at herself in the mirror, she frowned slightly. She was a bit pale, and her hips stuck out a bit. But she winked at herself playfully in the bathroom mirror. "Not bad, if I do say so myself," she thought out loud. "I guess there's nothing I can do for being short." She frowned, but had to see if the gorgeous stranger might be getting coffee again today.
She took her phone with her, and texted Beth to give her the low down: "Hoping I found a rebound. Wish me luck." Looking at her bed on the way to the door, she wondered if the next time she lied in it she might have some company. "Yeah, I'm thinking about running before I walk," she corrected herself. "That's assuming I even ever see him again." She set off for coffee and man searching.
This Sunday morning was a bit cooler than the previous day had been, but still warm enough for her favorite Sunday afternoon treat of iced macchiato. Barrista Barry still didn't notice her, but that didn't matter. Today, she was hoping for an encounter with someone else. "I really hope he was trying to make a move on me, or I'll look like an ass," she thought to herself as she sat down with her drink. She sat outside the cafe in the warm sun and felt invigorated. Checking the time on her phone, it was about the same time as yesterday. She sat, quietly and nonchalantly scanning pasersby for a little while.
After a short while she heard a familiar voice behind her. "Are you looking for someone?" She turned and looked up and there he was: the tall stranger. He had a blue, short-sleeved shirt draped over his frame, and gray unsassuming pants.
"Care to join me, stranger?" She asked.
The man sat down at the table across from Kim. She felt butterflies flying in patterns in her stomach. She couldn't believe she had run into him again, and he remembered her. He had a smile on his face and looked at her with those beautiful blue eyes.
"No appointment to get to today?" He asked.
"I'm sorry I was rude yesterday," Kim blushed and looked for the right words to say but couldn't find them.
"I was worried you had to go to the hospital with a broken shoulder," the man laughed.
Kim chuckled. "No, but thanks for the concern," she said, leaning forward toward him. "It's a little sore but no big deal. You just took me by surprise. I thought I was going to have a heart attack."
"I should probably call an ambulance then," he smirked.
"Not that type of heart attack." Kim laughed. "More the type that might require a love doctor. You caught me off guard."
He gave the same adorably flattered and surprised look he had shown the previous day when she complimented him. Kim laughed, and he smirked as though he realized she was teasing him.
Kim smiled wide. "Do you live around here? I don't remember seeing you here before."
"I'm not far," the stranger replied. "Just down the street."
"That's handy," Kim replied. "I'm not very far, either."
"Aha," he said. "We have something in common already."
Kim chuckled and held out her hand. "I'm Kim," she said.
He took her hand. His grip was firm and as much as she could with her small hand she returned a firm handshake. "Eresto," he replied.
"Eresto," Kim pulled her hand away and sat back in her chair. "Is that really your first name? What sort of name is it?"
"It's an old Italian name," he answered. "It isn't common and hasn't seen much use in generations."
"Sounds fancy," said Kim. "Do you come from a wealthy family?"
"You could say that, I suppose," Eresto answered, then thought a moment. "Does that help my chances?"
Kim laughed, a bit giddy. "It couldn't hurt, but I'm not sure you need help there."
He looked surprised and blushed for a moment but smirked again. "You tease a lot, I see." He said.
"Hey everyone has their quirks," Kim said playfully. "Like blushing adorably when a women gives you a compliment."
"Odd quirks are important to have," Eresto replied. "Beautiful women seem to like them."
"Beautiful?" Kim replied, shifting in her seat. "Some guys think I'm too short and small."
"Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder," he said. "Some men wouldn't know it if it was sitting across the table sipping iced coffee. But I do."
"I suppose you think you're incredibly smooth giving a line like that," Kim pretended to look at him critically.
"Only if I have skill with words, which I do."
"Being handsome doesn't hurt either. But should I trust you're being sincere?" Her critical look became a bit more ernest.
"I'm a very bad liar." Eresto said.
"We'll see," Kim replied. She cleared her throat and tried to lighten up the conversation a bit. "Do you work around here?"
"At the museum," Eresto replied. "I'm in sales."
Kim lit up. "Oh! I love the museum. I go there a lot. I heard there's going to be a mythology exhibit."
"Do you like mythology?" He asked.
"Greek mythology, yeah."
"Same here. Do you have a favorite story?"
Kim considered for a moment. "Psyche and Eros," she said. "I'm a sucker for a good love story."
"That's a great story," Eresto looked off to the distance as though he was recalling it. "Psyche embodies spirit and life and beauty. Eros can't resist her, and in the end she becomes a goddess to be with him." He looked at her again. "Beautiful."
Kim suddenly felt a bit self-conscious as Eresto looked at her as he said the word "beautiful." She bit her lip and hesitated a moment. "I heard the exhibit will be there in the Fall. I can't wait."
"Speaking of beauty," Eresto said, "you look great today."
Kim could feel her warm cheeks turning red. "Thank you," she said, looking to the ground. "That means a lot to me."
"Now it's your turn to blush." He said and winked. She laughed at herself and he continued. "And I came here hoping to return the compliment you gave me yesterday."
"I've been sitting here for a while and it's a beautiful day," Kim said. "Want to go for a walk?"
"I would love to," came the reply she wanted.
They kept up with some small talk as they walked. Eresto told Kim about some of the museum exhibits that she hadn't seen. She told him about being raised in central Massachusetts and going to school in Boston.
Kim could tell that Eresto was older than she was. He looked about late twenties, a bit older than her. He wasn't as tall as she had thought the day before, and seemed just over six feet. Kim had resolved to walk back to her place and invite him up. As they approached her apartment building, she looked up. She could see her window from the street.
Eresto was looking at the cloudless sky. "You know, a beautiful day like this is a great day to meet a beautiful stranger."
"Great for you, me or the both of us?"
"You tell me."
"Definitely for me. And I think for you as well, if my intuition serves me." Kim looked up at him and chuckled, feeling awkward and hoping it wasn't too forward. The look on his face told her it wasn't, and that she was right. They approached the door to her apartment building and she stopped them. "Well, this is where I live. I'm on the third floor, here."
"Oh," replied Eresto. "I didn't realize I was walking you home."
"Actually," Kim looked up at him, feeling like stars had fallen into alignment. "I was wondering if you wanted to come up for a while."
Eresto gave a small smile and Kim thought maybe he had been hoping for the offer. "Definitely," he said.
Eresto opened the door for her, and Kim went into the building. Climbing the stairs, her heart was pounding. She made eye contact with him again briefly, and smiled at him shyly. She felt self-conscious... again... looking at him, like she was afraid she might show her innermost self to him and he might reject her. Suddenly she realized that, when she looked at him like that, all he did was smile warmly with a look on his face that suggested caring. She felt desire building inside her, and as her body yearned she realized or remembered how badly she wanted him.
They reached the third floor and approached her apartment door. Kim turned to him, smiling. She kept her composure as best she could. She was already getting turned on, knowing that she would be fucking this gorgeous guy on her bed.
"This is it," Kim looked up a him and smiled, her keys rattling in her hand. Her mind raced, and she stopped to get her feelings off her chest as she fumbled with her keys. "Listen, I'm just going to tell you this. I just broke up with someone and if I'm a little off, it's definitely not because of you."
"I wouldn't worry about that, Beautiful," his tone was softened, his voice filled with warmth. "Maybe there's something I can do to help you feel better and forget those worries."
Turning to put her key in the lock, she felt his hand on hers. Instinctively she turned to him, looking up at his lips and then into his deep blue eyes. He leaned in and kissed her lips softly for a moment before pulling back.
"Since yesterday I've been able to think of nothing but your touch and your eyes," she said to him softly.
"I've wanted you from the moment I first saw you," he replied. "Let me help you open that door. We'll go to my place."
Before she could understand what he had said, he leaned in and kissed her again, his hand touching the door of her apartment and pushing it open. A light emanated from within, and she could feel him pushing her slowly into her apartment. But something was different and strange. Kim quickly realized that they weren't in her apartment. She broke the kiss, turning to the room, and saw a startling sight.
They were in a well-lit room that looked nothing like her apartment. The walls about her were of pure white, and seemed to glow and illuminate the room. On the far side of the room was a large bed, with bedding of red satin and a beautiful bed frame and headboard of mahogany. Next to it was a nightstand with a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Other furniture adorned the room, and she realized that they were in a bedroom. The beautiful stranger was standing next to the door and closed it behind them. Something felt odd, and she was confused wondering if she was in a dream like the night before.
"What the hell? Where are we?" Kim asked.
"We're at my place," his voice intoned behind her. "There's something you want here. Something you've seen in your dreams. You had a touch of it yesterday, and today. Here in my home, you can have all of it."
Kim turned back towards Eresto, and gazing into his eyes realized the tall stranger was right: she didn't care where they were, she knew what she wanted. She'd had a small taste of something magical or divine or not of this world. And she wanted the whole thing. In his eyes she saw beauty, power and desire, and she wanted it all. She wanted him.
She stepped toward him and they met in eachother's arms. Her hand found its way to the back of his head, pulling him to her. His hand slid around her, caressing her butt as he leaned in to kiss her. They whispered softly and wordlessly to eachother's lips. His tongue slid slowly into her mouth and tickled hers. She moaned into the kiss. His tongue darted up along her jaw and the roof of her mouth.
He pushed Kim slowly backwards in the direction of the bed, and she moved willingly. In short order both of their clothes were lying abandoned on the floor, with her shoes flung halfway across the room. Kim's free breasts felt the cool air, the nipples hardened. Looking at his chest and torso for the first time, he looked strong. His lean chest throbbed with strength and he looked fit. She put a hand on his strong arm and pulled him in again to press her chest against him and kiss him hotly. She felt his erect cock against her thigh and felt desire mastering her.
Kim felt the bed against the back of her legs, and his arm around her waist holding her tenderly as he lowered her onto the bed. His strong arms moved her petite body with ease. She broke the kiss and panted hotly onto his face, one arm on his strong bicep as it lowered her, the other thrown around his neck as he climbed on top of her. Looking up into his face she saw desire in his eyes as he looked her face over.
He pushed her legs apart and slid between them, and she gasped as she could feel his cock slipping inside her. It felt great. Parting her legs, she reached down to his butt to pull him into her more, trying to get him further inside her.
As Eresto looked down into her eyes, she licked her lips sexily. He started sliding in and out of her soaking pussy, and she closed her eyes and moaned. Having already been turned on, it felt incredible. She closed her eyes and thought, "God I really need this," and suddenly she felt his lips on hers. She pressed her tongue against his passionately.
Suddenly and sharply, she felt pressure building between her legs to the breaking point, and her hips quivered with pleasure. Her vagina contracted uncontrollably around his dick, even as he started to moan in his release. She could feel him cumming up into her, and imagined his seed filling her to overflowing with sex.
His hips slowed down and then suddenly pushed up hard into her. She took every bit of him that she could, and broke the kiss to pant frantically and catch her breath. She opened her eyes as he reached up to stroke her hair, and looked into his eyes longingly.
"Oh wow," she said, lifting her hand to her dizzy forehead. "Wow, I really needed that," she said. She put her hand back around his neck and looked him in the eye. "And I really wanted it from you. I haven't been able to think about anything else since yesterday afternoon."
"You are so beautiful in your desire," Eresto said as he stroked her hair. "That was incredible."
Kim chuckled self-consciously. "You've been so handsome, so warm, just in the short time since we've met." she said. "You've inspired me to be beautiful. Everything you see in me here, today, is for you."
"And beautiful you are, and full of life and love and desire." He said to her, running his fingers through her hair and stroking it. "Just like Psyche."
It suddenly dawned on Kim how good she had felt since she met this man, in just the last day. She realized that it was all his doing. Her head was full of questions, but they could wait. This was all too good in so many ways.
Kim grasped Eresto's shoulder and pushed him backwards slowly. His body obeyed her touch, and he rolled onto his back. She scurryed with her hips and legs and knelt on top of him. Reaching down, she grasped his cock with her hand. It was softening a bit, but it was slick with their juices and she stroked it back to life.
Kim locked eyes with Eresto, watching the pleasure on his face as his dick hardened again. "Do you want more of Psyche, then?" She asked as she watched the pleasure on his face.
Eresto replied, "yes," and Kim slipped his hardened cock inside her.
She leaned down over him, her breasts hanging over his chest, her hands on the pillow on either side of his head. Staring into his beautiful entrancing eyes, she started moving her hips back and forth. His cock slid inside her and she rubbed her clit against the shaft. His hands reached up, his palms pressed against the underside of her breasts and his thumbs pressing against her nipples, and he rubbed her breasts.
She lost herself in his eyes as she moved on top of him, seeing nothing else. Slowly she started, then faster, sharing with him the ecstacy of their sex. Unspoken words passed between them through their gaze. Desire. Intimacy. Sex. She felt sexy, beautiful and above all wanted.
His body jerked with pleasure, and she could tell he was hitting his top. Closing her eyes, she felt her clit rubbing against his slick skin and pressure building to a release. She groaned and clutched his cock with her pussy eagerly, relishing it, and then collapsed onto his chest.
Kim closed her eyes and laid there, enjoying the moment and the closeness with this handsome and warm man. She felt a warmth inside her, like her spirit was lifted. "I really needed that," she thought to herself as she thought of recent failed relationships. She felt beautiful and wanted. It was a feeling she didn't want to end, at least not now. "I'll have to cancel dinner tonight," she thought to herself. "I hope Beth will understand. Maybe if I offer her the juicy details tomorrow."
The moment was perfect, lying on top of him as they both rested, like Kim had entered a perfect world. She rose and fell with the breathing of her man's chest, and she wondered what was going through Eresto's head. In her mind she suddenly felt an anxiety as though if she moved or broke the silence that world would be shattered. A flood of thoughts came to her, and she jolted back to reality with the realization that she didn't know him and he may have been just trying to get her in bed. "I hope he's interested in spending time together," she thought. "He's so charming and friendly, and... different." She felt that his interest had been genuine, but doubt gnawed at her mind.
Kim felt an urgency, like the magic of the moment and the connection they had just shared might slip away. "Wow that was intense," she finally broke the silence. "Sorry I'm so quiet up here, I have to recover for a moment."
Eresto wrapped an arm around her back, as the fingers of his other hand ran through her hair. Feelings of anxiousness melted away and Kim's body tingled, and her breathing slowed.
Finally he spoke, softly in a calm voice. "You seem like your mind is racing. You have nothing to be sorry about. You're incredibly beautiful and sexy and I hope you'll stay a while."
"Thanks, Eresto." She felt relieved but a bit ragged, and her voice trembled a bit. "Whew, three orgasms in one day. It's been a while."
"Three?" Eresto pondered out loud. "Oh, wow. The dream was that good?"
She sat up on top of him and propped herself up with her arms, looking down at him. "What do you mean by that?"
"The dream you had last night about me."
"How do you know about that?" She was utterly confused.
"Oh, I sent it." He winked. "You're welcome."
She rolled her eyes, both from disbelief and from the corniness of his line. Sliding off of him, she sat on the bed next to him. He propped himself up, leaning on his elbows.
She glared at him and could tell she was coming to her senses a bit. Questions flooded her mind: where were they, what's all this about dreams and who was he really? After stammering for a moment, she finally put a coherent thought together. "First of all, it ended before it got interesting. I had to finish myself off when I woke up. Second of all..."
"Well of course, it was supposed to inspire you, not satisfy you."
She closed her eyes and shook her head, unable to understand what he was saying. "And second of all, what do you mean you sent it?"
"I am more than what I seem," Eresto declared. "I inspired you, and I planted that dream in your mind. You had it because of me. I've cared about you since I first saw you, and when I saw you were sad yesterday I had to do something for you. Hence our little bump. And when you reacted to our run-in the way you did, I knew we had to see eachother again. I knew I had to bring you here."
"Am I dreaming now?" She stammered.
"Not at all. Far from it," he replied. He put his hand on her bare hip, sliding his fingertips over her skin. "If you were, would you want to wake up?"
Kim glanced at his lips and looked into his eyes. "No," she said.
Eresto put his hand on her cheek and guided her face to his lips, letting Kim climb over him and kiss him.
"So then, who are you?" She said as the kiss broke and she looked down on him.
Eresto thought for a moment, as if he was considering what to say. "I spend time in your neighborhood and city," he said finally. "The first time I laid eyes on you, you were at that very cafe with a woman friend. I noticed you and could tell you had a strong spirit, a hidden beauty tucked away, and great beauty in your face."
Kim blushed and smiled down at him. "Like a good thing that comes in a small package," she said.
"Yes, like that," he admitted and smiled. "I have to confess I've been making excuses to be near that cafe more and more. Yesterday you seemed sad and I had to say hello."
"You know, that sounds a bit like stalking," Kim noted.
"Yes, I'm your angelic stalker," he admitted.
"Angelic?" She perked up. "You mean like an angel? Did I open the door to my apartment and wind up in Heaven?"
"Er, Yes. Well, no. I'm what you humans call an angel. We call ourselves celestials and some of us live here in this very palace."
Kim sat up on the bed. There was a window on the far side of the room, near the door where they entered. It was a ways away, and looking out she couldn't see much. What she did see definitely didn't look like her apartment building.
"Ok, where are we? And where's my apartment?"
"Your apartment is still there, on the other side of the door that we entered from." He pointed to the door at the far side of the room. "This place is called Angelhome. It's not what you would call Heaven, but it is separate from Earth, where you've lived your life." Eresto replied. He pointed to an ornate oaken door next to the bed. "There is a better view out the window in the bathroom, in there."
"I could use a shower anyway. We've made me a mess," Kim declared as she got up and gathered her clothes.
"The bathroom has a bath," Eresto pointed out.
The bathroom was ornately designed and looked like an antique setting from a previous century. Everything looked polished and fresh as though it was new. The large tub with four legs sat opposite the white porcelain sink, with pipes of polished brass and a vanity of a dark and rich wood with a marble top. A tank hung above the toilet in a style that seemed ancient, next to the only window in the bathroom.
She stood by the window looking out as the tub filled with water. She saw a sky of an odd yellowish color, above a landscape that featured a forest of many-colored trees and trails running through it.
"Holy shit, Dorothy, you're really not in Kansas any more." She said to herself softly. She climbed into the bath.
As Kim sat in the bathtub, she closed her eyes and breathed in the steam from the hot water. The moist air brought with it a calm that settled over her tense and exhausted body. She picked up a bar of soap from a soapdish and started rubbing it against her arms. She began to wash herself clean. The dirty feeling she had carried with her into the bathroom began to go away. It was a fun dirty, but dirty none-the-less.
After a few minutes Eresto's face appeared at the doorway to the bathroom, and Kim felt a small jolt of relief. His handsome face and beautiful body were a welcome sight in this unfamiliar place.
"Want some company?" He asked.
She beamed up at him. "Yes."
He stepped into the bath and sat across from her, his legs intertwining with hers playfully.
"This bathroom is beautiful," Kim said. "I've never seen furnishings like this. It looks old, like... like an old style, but everything looks brand new."
"Nineteenth century Italian," Eresto delcared as he patted the sink. "These aren't old, but they do come from an earlier time on Earth than when you are from." He could probably see the look of confusion on her face, or otherwise expected it. "Your questions have answers, but for this moment let's be together."
"It's all so confusing," Kim admitted. "There's a lot I don't understand. The only thing that's clear is that I'm glad I came here with you, wherever here is." She shook her head and decided she needed to distract herself. "May I wash you, Eresto?" She asked.
Eresto gave her that beautiful, glowing smile, and she glided through the bath water toward him, kneeling beside him and rubbing the bar of soap first on his rough chest. She could feel his eyes on her face as he watched her washing him, and she felt self-conscious. Her breasts were lingering above the water and felt chilled in the cool air. But she stayed there for him to see, wanting to display the womanly body he had won by reaching out to her with whatever power he possessed.
Kim felt like he had washed her soul of self-doubt in the same way that she was washing his body of dirt or sweat. She placed her arm around his neck affectionately and ran the bar of soap over him. She grasped his arm to lift it. Running the soap over his muscles, she leaned in to kiss the flesh lightly as she looked into his eyes.
"You are so beautiful in your desire, Kim," he said softly. "Like a goddess of Love."
"Thank you, my wonderful stranger," Kim smiled. "You've given me so much in so short a time. I can't thank you enough."
As Kim ran the soap over Eresto's chest, she swallowed hard. Anxieties were piling up in her mind, wondering about his intentions. She shoved them to the back of her mind as hard as she could, and realized she needed a distraction. She kissed his neck lightly. Reaching down between his legs with the bar of soap, she rubbed it against his flacid manhood. She then ran the soap under the water to scrub his balls.
Eresto leaned against her shoulder lightly, his hand reaching up to grasp her breast lightly. "That feels great, Pet."
Hearing his words, a shiver went up her spine. For a moment she looked at him: strong, powerful and masculine. Yet he was without a woman, a companion? She kissed his lips lightly and rubbed the soap against his hardening member until it was sticking up out of the water. He placed his arm around her shoulder.
Letting go the soap, Kim wrapped her fingers around his hard cock. As her Lover kissed her neck, she began to stroke up and down. The other hand went under his dick and massaged the balls.
Seeing Eresto there, feeling his touch, and his pleasure, Kim felt more alive than she had ever felt. The adoration and sex that flowed between them seemed not just desire and lust, but had a power to it. He seemed aglow in a way that he hadn't when he was just a handsome stranger that reached out and touched her arm and soul. She wondered why an angel would seek out a human for a lover, and suddenly wondered if there was something that she could offer that she didn't understand.
Eresto grunted and squeezed her shoulder, lightly pulling her as if he were hanging on for dear life. She looked down to see him give his cum, feeling the warm semen pour onto her hand and into the bath water. Losing herself in the moment, she grasped his cock and leaned in to wrap her arms around his neck and hold him.
"Thank you for making me feel beautiful," she whispered softly in his ear. "I'll stay here, for now, if I can be with you. But I'm leaving the name Kim behind. If you think I'm like a goddess of love, I want you to call me Psyche instead."
Kim felt Eresto's cheek pressing against the top of her head, and his fingers running through her hair. While she wanted to enjoy the closeness and the moment, the silence ignited questions in her mind. Where was she? Who was he, really? And if he was telling the truth, why had he sought her out?
