Doctor Who: Romana in Wonderland

DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fan fiction made to entertain fans of the British television series Doctor Who. I do not make any money from the publication of this audio story. This 'Episode' is based on Season 17 and Season 18 of Doctor Who, which ran from 1979 and 1980; with the 4th Doctor played by Tom Baker and the Romana of Lalla Ward.

The TARDIS crash lands on a vast planet made entirely of forests and woods. There are no inhabitants, or appears to be uninhabited, except for only animal and plant life. The TARDIS needs repairing after the crash as it landed on the top branches of a tree under the canopy of leaves. The Doctor and K-9 stay in the TARDIS to fix it up while Romana climbs down the tree and explores the planet. While meandering through the forest, she gets hungry and eats a mushroom. She suddenly shrinks in size and becomes tiny. She panics and becomes lost. She finds a caterpillar smoking a hookah and is reminded of the Lewis Carroll book Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. She tells this to the Caterpillar but he does not understand what she is talking about. She asks him how she can return to her normal size and return to the forest. The Caterpillar does have the answers. She then finds herself in a maze that looks like a chessboard and has to reach the 8th square because the Black Knight is chasing after her trying to kill her with a lance. She finds the Eighth Square and becomes the White Queen. Her court includes playing cards, the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Back in the TARDIS, the Doctor has finished with the repairs and is now worried about Romana who has not returned. The Doctor goes out to look for her. He too gets hungry and eats a mushroom and shrinks into a small size. Now in the Wonderland world, he is immediately chased by the Black Knight and has to reach the 8th Square. But as soon as he does the Bishop tells him that he is not allowed to enter the White Queen's castle without being invited. Romana emerges from the castle, recognizes the Doctor and allows him to enter. She tells him she is happy living as queen and wants to stay. The Doctor realizes she's under the effects of the mushroom she ate and it won't be long before the same happens to her. The Doctor spends the night in the castle, has sex with Romana and the next morning while she is sleeping he gives her CPR and pushes down on her stomach in order to have the mushroom exit her body through her mouth. As soon as it does, Romana snaps back into reality and wants to leave. The Doctor asks her to do the same to him and she pushes down on his stomach and he regurgitates the mushroom. Then they both make an escape from the castle and find that they are being chased by the Jabberwocky monster. When they both use swords to kill the monster, they return back to their normal size. They then sense that there is further danger on the planet if they don't leave immediately. They enter the TARDIS and take off. They return into space.
