We got to the club and the bouncers checked our bags and waved us through, it was still early there were a few people mingling around the bar so mom got us a table and i went to the bar.

"Sorry kiddo i have to have you back Friday, you have that party to go to." Frank replied.

"Well if you're good maybe Becky will drive up to you next week." I said as i handed him a cookie.

Joe is awesome he's never sad or rude he just sits there quietly watching nature or tv we're very protective of him.

The FaceTime went off on the laptop.

"Hey mom, yeah almost done it's paper work stuff that's tricky i don't understand all the legal words.

I've have to get a lawyer." Becky said.

"Don't you dare, that'll cost a fortune bring it home I'll get one of mine to look over." Frank said in his deep voice.

"Uncle Frank, hey love you." Becky said cheerfully.

"AUNTY BECKY." joe yelled as he ran to the table.

"DON'T RUN JOE" i called out as he neared the steps.

"Sorry Aunty." Joe yelled.

I joined mom and Frank at the table and poured us some iced tea.

"So pest your looking for a site for a club?" Frank asked.

"Yes i have this vision, i want to open an entertainment club, sports bar, restaurant, games room etc." i begin to explain.

When i explain my dream uncle Frank looked at mom.

"I have a surprise for you, if you have an hour or so I'd like to take you for a drive." Frank said.

"Wait, I've watch mafia films i know what going for a ride means." I pretended to be afraid.

"I've told you before i am not going to kill Joe's Aunty, you think i want him mad at me? Besides it would dirty my car." Frank said taking my glass off of me.

"Ok i trust you, i won't be long mom." I said kissing her cheek.

We drove to the docks, and into the building site, he parked up and we wondered over to one of the buildings.

"FRANK I'LL BE DOWN IN A SECOND." a man yelled from high up on scaffolding.

"That's Tony, he's running things here." Frank said walking over to him.

"You must be Kat Frank's niece." Tony said offering his hand.

"Yes I'm Kat, nice to meet you Tony." I said shaking his hand.

"You have the plans Tony?" Frank asked him.

"Plans?" I asked.

"The family owns 75% of the land here, so i mentioned to Tony here about you wanting a club site. He said he'd look into it and has come up with one if you're interested." Frank said opening the maps on his car.

"I was thinking that corner site facing the water." Tony began to explain.

"Uncle Frank i can't afford this place nobodies going to lease a site here to a novice." I said disappointedly.

"Do be quiet brat, trust your uncle." Frank said.

"The plan is Kat, that Frank owns the building, you lease it off of him at a family discount. There's a lot of council grants on offer for new ventures around here." Tony explained.

The idea was that the council want to move entertainment businesses out of the towns because of noise and violence.

So they are giving new grants to people with passion and new ideas.

It sounded to good to be true, why would the council trust me i have no experience, no collateral it was a pipe dream.

"I'm owed a favour or two relax, do you fancy the idea? But before you make up your mind it's business full contracts legal and above board no favours." Frank said.

He knew full well I wouldn't have it any other way, if it succeeded or failed it had to my problem or hard work.

"So?" Frank said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"In principle yes.. yes.. yes, but can i make a final decision after i speak to mom and Becks please?" I asked.

"Sure." Frank and Tony answered together as they shock hands.

I couldn't wait to get home and discuss it with mom but i just wanted to see her i missed her.

We got home and Joe ran out to us so excited we were home, Frank put him in the car then popped in to say bye to mom Joe had to be back home soon.

I gave Frank a hug, blew Joe a kiss and went inside, once indoors i put the dead bolt on and fell into mom's waiting arms.

"Damn I've missed you mom." I said kissing her gently, stroking her hair off her face.

"I've missed you to baby, so did you like the idea?" Mom asked.

"Can we talk about it later, i just wanted to be held by the woman i love." I asked her.

"Ok darling go get ready ready for bed, we'll order KFC and go to bed." Mom said.

I ran up upstairs stripped off got into my comfiest night shirt and thick socks, then ran downstairs to mom who was on the sofa covered in a thick blanket.

The table in front loaded with potato chips and dips and lemonade.

"Come here baby, i want you." Mom said pulling back the blanket.
