The Wedding of Kat and Her Mom Ch. 02

MOM" Becky and i yelled.

"Relax, it's about time you two got it out your systems." Mom said undoing her top.

Mom dropped her her top on the chair, then undid her shorts and stepped out of them, she climbed over Becky and in between Becky and i.

We laid in her arms each of us sucking her breasts and holding hands against her belly,

We must've fallen asleep next thing i remember was waking up starving hungry so i got up to make us something to eat and coffee i needed coffee.

I wondered into the kitchen when the phone rung,

"Hello,,, Kat speaking... hey Joe Joe... we'll be right there.... no you did right we'll be there. I put the phone down, and ran upstairs calling mom and Becky as i went.

I flew into the bedroom throwing their clothes on top of them.

"Get UP GET UP." I yelled.

"Sis fuck off i need coffee first." Becky said turning over.

"Where's the fire baby." Mom said cuddling Becky.

"Frank's had a heart attack he's in intensive care." I said as i threw on a pair of shorts and the nearest top.

"What hospital?" Mom asked jumping out of bed and dressing.

"The general. I'll drive." I replied grabbing my keys.

"Where's Joe?" Becky asked.

"He's at the hospital waiting." I replied grabbing.

When we arrived there was panic and fear over everyone's face, Becky immediately ran to Joe.

"We're here now Joe Joe what have the drs said?" She asked.

"Nothing yet, they just rushed him through, we were having his suit measured for the wedding and suddenly he collapsed he wasn't breathing, my hero there gave him the kiss of life.

The paramedics said it saved his life Joe where did you learn that, you stayed so calm and focused." Carla said,

"Joe Joe you saved your dad's life that's amazing." We all yelled hugging him.

"In school." He replied nervous of the attention.

"Carla, Franks doing better the next 48 hrs are critical we'll need to operate once he's stable it will be a triple bypass, we'll discuss that in the coming days.

Right now we need to make him as comfortable as possible two people may go see him for 2 minutes only, he's asleep right now, and wired up to several machines it looks worse than it is.

I'm come see you all soon." The Dr said.

"We'll put two men outside his door 24/7 Carla." Carlo said.

"We'll discuss that later, right now it's settle the hero, why don't you go with your mom and see him." I said glaring at carlo.

Once those two were in with Frank i took over.

"Right, Carla and Joe are out of it their focus has to be each other and Frank everything else comes through me and Becks you know it's the way Franks planned things, should anything happen to him." I told carlo.

"Sorry, Kat i forgot." Carlo said.

"It; s fine I'm going to need your help we need to bother the family as little as possible till he's back on his feet." I said.

"Babe come here a minute." Mom said.

I went to her i needed a hug. "Oh mom you always know what I need." I said as i laid my head on her chest arms wrapped tight around her.

"Ok everyone there's nothing we can do tonight, rage doctors hope to wake him tomorrow and assess him then. As soon as his vitals stabilise they will operate, i suggest we take turns being here with him I'll take the first shift hmm Joe..." Carla began.

"Is coming home with me Carla, we can do a barbecue, I'll bring him back after breakfast tomorrow" Becky said as she cuddled him.

"Thank,," Carla began before breaking down.

"Ok everyone get lost work to be done." Mom said pulling Carla aside knowing she'd hate anyone seeing her cry.

We loaded Joe Joe in the car and waited for mom i put one guard on Frank I didn't want to many getting in the way of Drs.

It sounds stupid to outside people why would he need a guard his in hospital, in our world any sign of vulnerability the vultures circle looking to take what you have.

However sweet and caring Frank is he still has enemies, by now it was dinner time we drove home and Becky set up the grill.

"Joe Joe come here please, sit down." Becky asked him.

"Now i know your scared about dad and mom but he truly is in the best place and care possible, Kat and i always tell you the truth don't we?" She began.

"Always auntie." He replied.

"It's going to be a very difficult time, once he wakes and the drs get him the operation we will know more about what lies ahead.

But as Kat and i have promised to tell the truth we need you to promise to talk to us if you're worried or scared about anything will you promise?" She asked him.

"I promise Aunty, can i have a hug please." He asked her as he opened his arms.

"Always handsome boy, your be in my bed tonight ok and your to wake me if needed." She told him as she held him stroking his head.

I went to mom and wrapped her in my arms.

"How you doing babe,? I know his special to you." I asked her,

I know mom still cares about him like a brother they may not be in love anymore but they love each other as much as you can.

"I'm worried about Carla darling, she tries being as tough as the guys in the family but we both know she's not" I'm glad you and Becky are ok doing your roles but baby NO VIOLENCE." Mom said sternly.

I kissed her softly on the lips patted her arse to cheer her up it worked.

"I love you." Mom said kissing me back.

"I love you to mom." I told her as i joined the other two in the garden.

"Hey sis, need anything?" I asked as i hugged Joe.

"Nope we have everything under control don't we Joe?" She said smiling.

"Sure do, Auntie can i have a beer?" He asked.

"You know where they are, Joe you don't need to ask your family, do you need your meds every night?" I asked.

"Oh yes but they're at home, mom might be cross if I don't take them, she always says I mustn't miss them." He said worriedly.

"No problem I'll fetch them after dinner, i need to pick you up some clothes for your stay anyway." I told him.

"Ok am i staying long?" He asked.

"I think it's best mom will be up the hospital a lot and well Becky and i miss you." I said as i set the table up.

After dinner i drove over to the compound, there were more guards than I'd ever seen all with big visible guns, cars blocked the gates.

I went inside got Joes meds, clothes and books, then i went to see Carlo.

"How you doing? Is everything here ok? I asked.

"Yeah, Tony's up the hospital with Carla, i; ve made a rota so everyone knows what and where they should be." He said showing me the paper.

"Any trouble from the families?" I asked.

"No right now they'll pretend to care once they knew the situation then that will determine their actions, if it's just an op and recoup they'll stand down.

If on the other hand he passes or is in long term care the war will start within an hour, oh they'll be planning right now don't be fooled. So be careful." Carlo said as he handed me a small wooden box.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Something Frank hoped never to give you, but circumstances may require you to have it, there's one for Becky to." Carlo said.

I opened the box and in side were two mother of pearl handled pistols Frank had had always trained us on guns, just as i hobby he said but we knew what he was doing he was preparing us for this time.

I hated guns but I wasn't stupid i knew what could be coming, and being unprepared could spell the end of you.

"There's license's in the box for you both to carry them legally they should fit in your bags, we hoped you'd never have to go through this transition Kat." He said sadly.

"I hoped so to Carlo but things change suddenly lets hope he's back with us soon, and i can return these unused." I said as i hugged him and left.

As i got home i went into the study, Becky followed me.

"Hey gorgeous how was it?" She asked shutting the door and sitting on my lap.

"The compounds secure enough, Carlos sorted where people should be, open the box." I said pointing to the box Carlo gave me.

"Oh god really, do we need to? I knew he was teaching us for this but do you really think the families would do anything, i mean their family." Becky said.

Becky never really got into the meaning and running of the family it didn't interest her she learnt because i did and she wanted to protect me should anything happen then came Joe.

"Carlo does, that's enough warning for me sis, and your have Joe Joe with you most of the time, I'll protect mom." I said as i took my gun loaded it and hid it in my bag.

"Hey you two bed come on, it's late and it's been a stressful day, Joe's nearly asleep bless him." Mom said walking in the study.

"Leave him to me I've got a couple of DVDS for him, love you two." Becky said kissing us on the cheek.

"Love you to Becks," we both said as we headed up to bed.
