Accidental Revelations Ch. 19

Cody was eating breakfast while listening to the news on the T. V when his doorbell rang, "Who could that be?" Cody asked out loud.

"Maybe it's Eveline?" Carly said.

Sarah said from the security screen, "It's Beatrice."

"Let her up," Cody told Sarah as he turned off the T. V, he listened to the elevator come back up.

"Hello, Sorry to intrude so early but I need to check something with the girls, is that okay?" Beatrice said as she walked in.

"Everything okay?" Cody asked.

"Yes, Eveline's test came back intriguing so now I want to see if all the girls will end up with it," Beatrice said from the kitchen with her bag open but nothing taken out yet.

"What did you find?" Sarah asked curiously.

"Well, it would seem that Eveline and possibly you two might have become blooded dragons, which is surprising but also not so surprising," Beatrice explained to Sarah.

"What do you mean blooded dragons?" Carly asked from the couch.

"Well in most cases blooded dragons are in the main family line, all your siblings and Amell are 'blooded', their partners gain traits are but still in 'essence' Demi human. Eveline and I'm guessing you two are blooded rather than essence dragons due to him being of such purity," Beatrice explained.Accidental Revelations Ch. 19 фото

"What's the difference, doesn't sound like there is one really," Cody asked.

"There aren't many differences, the only differences are simply how Demis react to them, essence dragons make Demis starstruck similar to blooded dragons, where blooded dragons can change Demis into essence dragons. Eveline has started Garnet's process to become a dragon," Beatrice said as she pulled out the same tools she used at Garnets.

"Wait, so the girls can now change Demis? So... does that mean my dragon blood is an STD?" Cody asked humorously.

Beatrice's mouth opened in shock as Carly burst out laughing while Sarah chuckled, "Technically... yes, it's not a disease if anything it's a gift," Beatrice said, shaking her head with her mouth open in shock before saying, "Secondly it's only you who does it, no one else can and I'm going to test the girls later on to see if they can make blooded dragons."

"So does that mean we need to be careful with who we do now? Make sure they know what will happen and so on?" Sarah asked, looking slightly concerned.

"Yes, very much so, becoming a dragon in essence while having negligible physical effects will still cause Demis to actively focus on them whether consciously or subconsciously. I don't know how Garnet will react now to you tho Cody, with her becoming an essence dragon you shouldn't have to worry about her body moving on it's own like Sarahs or Evelines the first time," Beatrice answered before saying to Cody.

"If we can do what you say then that should greatly help with recruitment right Cody?" Sarah said with a predatory and lustful smile.

"I guess, and that is good, I'd rather not have to have Sarah hold them down after one round for a few hours like we did with Pascal," Cody said, nodding his head in agreement.

"May I?" Beatrice asked, holding the engraved dagger.

"Yes," Sarah said, holding out her arm.

Beatrice collected some blood and placed it in a container before cleaning the blade and moving towards Carly who looked slightly nervous but still held her arm up, Beatrice frowned and moved behind Carly saying, "Sorry I'm not going to cut anywhere near your membranes, I don't want to risk damaging them."

"Okay where will you collect from then," Carly asked leaning forward and using her large thumb to hold her hair out of the way.

Beatrice ran her hand over her back for a few seconds before saying, "Here is a good spot." Carly felt the blade press between her shoulder blades.

Beatrice walked over to the wooden tablet and put both blood samples on the tablet which activated and kept them separate, Beatrice studied the blood for a few moments before nodding and saying, "So your both blooded dragons, Sarah being the furthest along and Carly your about the same as Eveline, the only thing is that congrats are in order," Beatrice looked at her stomach with a smile.

Carly smiled widely along with Cody, "Can you keep that a secret from everyone?" Cody asked Beatrice.

"Of course, also don't worry about getting killed by Mina, I won't tell her what you're going to do to her favorite dancer," Beatrice said with a sly grin.

Cody sighed heavily, "I had no idea they meant Garnet when they talked about the other girls."

"Why do you talk like your mom is going to hurt you?" Carly asked Cody, Beatrice smirked and stayed silent.

"Mom can get... focused on things, that thing then becomes one of her biggest passions, before she enjoyed Garnet's dancing she had a hobby of collecting antique porcelain dolls, theirs is a room somewhere in the house with over five thousand dolls. Before that hobby and before she met dad mom was something of a extremist, if there was a protest she'd join so long as the reason was a decent one, there's a few pictures of her in her younger years in some well known protests, just never bring them up to her because it makes her embarrassed," Cody explained.

"So she gets hyper focused on things and will defend those focuses?" Sarah asked, looking interested.

"Oh ya, mom can be terrifying, have you ever seen those people who smile so innocently but everyone is terrified of them? Mom mastered that smile, I've seen it three times in my whole life. I'm expecting it again once she finds out," Cody answered with Beatrice nodding.

"There was a time when I watched Mina stand up to some of the oldest members of the council in the nest, it got to the point where a dragon had to manifest to stop the argument," Beatrice explained after she finished packing everything away.

Cody looked shocked and asked, "Over what?"

"Your sister Ava, After her incident with her boyfriend and she awakened with tail and wings your mother asked the family to forgo tradition and let her stay at the house since she met all the requirement already, the council tried to their best to argue but your mother heard nothing of it, the dragon that manifested gave three conditions, of which two you and your siblings agreed to. The third no one but Mina knows and she won't tell anyone," Beatrice further explained.

"I remember when mom and dad called us all to the house and asked about Ava, they asked us if Ava can stay at the house, and if she could take over the family, their main argument being that she was the youngest and most successful in her ventures then everyone. By family law we all knew she met them already, I at the time didn't know about Demi, but I'm guessing my siblings who did also knew she knew as well," Cody explained to the girls but gave Beatrice a questioning look.

"They did, Ava unlike the rest of you had a unique gift for information holding, she learned faster than everyone and by the time she was sixteen when they asked she already had a large and very successful business made without Amells help but Mina was the face of it," Beatrice said more so to Cody.

"I knew she was smart, now with Suzy's help she's even more formidable," Cody said with a hint of pride.

"You have no idea just how scary those two can be," Beatrice said looking slightly nervous, "If what I heard is true after a few days of hanging out they ended up expanding their business to twice the size and used that momentum to start a second, Ava's business smarts paired with Suzy's number and organization skills are insane, even Amell is nervous about them taking over the family not because they would ruin it but because they would probably take over the world."

Cody looked nervous when responding, "You can't be serious, I know Suzy is a wizard with numbers, managing was another strong point but not to that degree."

"She's only grown since going there, she's learned a lot and fast, please remember Cody you got her not only a college level education but also a university level education before she was eighteen," Beatrice said looking at Cody pointedly.

"No I didn't, I helped her with college that's it, if she did a university course she did it without my knowing," Cody said surprised.

After a few moments of silence Cody looked at Beatrice and said, "I think you should tell my dad when you get home that something big is coming, there is no way in hell that Ava and Suzy seem to work together so well ONLY after I find out the truth. Too many coincidences to not be planned."

Beatrice looked unsettled as she replied, "You're right, Suzy and Ava have always been good friends but now? Unless they planned all this you have a point, I'm going to head home now, you girls stay safe."

Cody watched Beatrice hurriedly ready herself before leaving. "Are you okay Cody? You seem nervous," Sarah said, sliding beside him.

"I am, I always thought it was weird how when Ava visited she treated Suzy like a sister, knowing what I know now I'm not that surprised but what really shocks me is that Suzy got a whole nother level of education without telling me, then when she moves in with Ava they not only do so well in business that it makes dad nervous but at the same time I get you pregnant, find out I'm a pure blood dragon and not only a pure blood but that I'm an exceptionally rare one with all breath types that only the highest of dragons can have, I sometimes dream about other royal Demis, oh let's not forget because of Minerva I've made my first contract with a demon. Too many coincidences to not be something big, I now feel like somethings going to happen today that's going to start something but I have no clue what," Cody said exasperated.

Sarah looked at Carly who looked nervous, "Your right, you also forgot that Pascals grandmother can't see you properly with her visions, and Pascal is a one in a ten thousand who can dream walk and you've learned to defend against it, and you've gotten on the Hunters radar due to buying out that property," Sarah said quietly.

Cody looked at her with wide eyes, "Fuck me your right," Cody grumbled loudly as he sagged further into the couch, "I don't want some destiny or fate bullshit, I just want to live a simple life with my partners have kids and take care of snakes, is that to much to ask for?" Cody said to no one in particular.

Cody felt Carly sit in his lap then her body resting against him, "No matter what happens you know we will be there for you right? Ready to follow you, a lot of people are ready, whether you have some world changing fate or not people will be with you," Carly said trying to reassure him.

"You're right," Cody said, hugging Carly, Sarah sat beside him and leaned into him.

"Rather than run from whatever is coming, why not try to prepare for it?" Sarah asked Cody.

Cody didn't answer, instead he hugged both girls closer. After a quiet few minutes Cody picked Carly up and sat her in Sarah's lap, "I have to go get ready and go check their progress, I also need to go meet with Izzi, I should have yesterday but I was unable to leave."

"Get ready and go, I'll have dinner ready for you when you're back," Sarah said happily.

"I'll wait for Eveline to come home, I think we have a lot to talk about," Carly said, slightly nervous.

"Got it, I'll head out then, see you girls in a bit," Cody said as he readied himself before entering the elevator.

Cody walked into the garage and got into his truck, he turned on his phone and sent a text to Pascal, "Hey, will you come over today? Also I need to ask you something, Can Doris look at specific things or does her vision just come to her?"

As Cody drove to the Diner he got a response from Pascal, Cody used text to speech to listen to the response so he could focus on the road, "Yes and no, if she searches it'll show her but mostly it comes to her randomly also she already told me that she can't see the future you're asking about. All she can see when searching is that you stand in front of a massive crowd of people, the scene flicks between you burning them alive to having them stand with you, I was planning on visiting tonight, in person."

"Great, that's helpful, argh, I need to focus," Cody said to himself as he used speech to text to respond, "Thank you I think? Also I can't wait to see you tonight."

Cody pulled into the diner's parking lot as Pascal responded with, "I'm excited in more ways than one to see you."

Cody laughed as he responded quickly while Izzi greeted him from behind the counter, "Hello Cody, one moment I'll go get my business plan."

Cody watched her all but run to the kitchen, "Want some breakfast?" Agatha asked.

"I just ate but I'd take a coffee and maybe a snack while we talk business," Cody responded.

"Sounds good," Agatha said, returning to the kitchen.

Izzi exploded from the Kitchen with great enthusiasm, she started talking before sitting down, "Hi, so my plan is quite simple really I'm going," Cody held up his hands.

"Wow calm down, I know you're excited but this is why I asked for a business plan, I'll listen to you after I read it so you don't forget anything in your excitement," Cody said trying to calm her down.

"Sorry," Izzi said blushing slightly.

Cody took the plans and sat down reading them over humming and hawing over them with the occasional 'huh', "Impressive, who taught you write out plans?" Cody asked.

"No one, mom and dad gave me some pointers but most of it is my own doing," Izzi answered quickly.

"I'm impressed by this, you get to the point with no fluff or extra wording and save it all for the end as a finisher, your numbers are spot on and your predictions are solid, overall great plan, how much do you have saved to start this?" Cody asked.

"About eighty thousand, I've always dreamed of my own bakery, it took me a few days to learn about animal treats, I will take out some loans if I need to," Izzi explained.

"Will you need to? Eighty thousand sounds like it's enough?" Cody asked, surprised.

Izzi blinked in confusion before saying, "That's a minimum for a small one person bakery, I could need up to three hundred thousand dollars for all the equipment and furniture, that's including having two floors."

Cody looked shocked as he responded, "I knew it could be costly but I wasn't expecting that much, I admit I skimmed some parts, one moment."

Cody read in details of the machine price variables along with furniture while he was reading Agatha came out with some small toasted pastries and a coffee, "Okay, I knew ovens could cost a few thousand, I was not expecting them to go up to thirty thousand with taxes, holyshit. If you need a loan go to this address and ask for Mister Fisher, hand him this," Cody said handing over his business card with his signature and current date on the back, "That will help you get a loan, also hand him this business plan to."

Izzi stood up and hugged Cody tightly. He looked shocked as this tiny girl managed to squeeze the air out of his lungs and cause his back to pop in a few places, "Ow, ow, ow, ow you're strong for your size," Cody said with some minor pain.

Izzi blushed deeply and pulled back, "I'm sorry, I'm just so excited to have my own place, and you can thank my mom and dad for my strength."

"So you can come with me to the location and show them your plans or you could have the floor plans from that copied and I can bring it to them," Cody said while stretching his back.

"I'm still working technically, I'll go make a copy for you, thank you again," Izzi said, all but skipping towards the kitchen.

Agatha came out afterwards and sat down at the table with Cody, "Thank you for giving her this opportunity, Minos and I greatly appreciate this."

Cody sipped the coffee to help with the pastry he was chewing then replied, "I was looking for something and I always prefer local places over chains, she'll do wonderfully and seeing how well she can put together a plan, I highly doubt she'll fail."

"I'm sure she'll do great, working with you and the other two will help her greatly. Also Minos wanted me to ask you for a small favor," Agatha said, shaking her head lightly, "'Please refrain from adding her to your bed."

Cody coughed lightly as choked slightly on the food, after swallowing it he replied, "Tell Mino there's no worries their, she's a business partner now, I don't mix business and pleasure I'm sure he could argue about Carly but she wasn't a business partner but a friend that helped with reptiles I couldn't take, just like she called me for snakes she couldn't house," Cody said in between sips of coffee.

"That's good to hear, oh her she comes," Agatha said leaning back as Izzi came out of the kitchen with a few pieces of paper.

"I've copied all the things the contracts should need, thank you again," Izzi said happily.

"Don't worry, that's on the house, you've already paid for it," Agatha said, taking the empty plate and cup.

"When did I pay?" Cody asked, looking puzzled.

Agatha smiled and gave Izzi a pointed look, "A parents greatest joy."

Cody nodded as he stood up, "I'll take this to the guys now, have a good day, I hope you visit him within the month, make sure to buy the supplies needed so it's installed when time comes to build."

"I will, I'll go see him today after my shift ends at two," Izzi said, bouncing in place.

"If that's the case make sure you dress up business smart, you'll get turned away if you don't," Cody warned her as she walked out.

Izzi turned to her mom and smiled widely, "It's happening mom," Izzi hugged Agatha tightly and lifted her off the ground.

Agatha wheezed as she was put down, "Hun you need to work on your self control again, you might have killed someone with that hug."

Izzi looked down, "Sorry."

Cody pulled out of the parking lot and drove towards the old factory, after a short drive Cody pulled into the lot and smiled seeing a large group of workers on the roofs redoing them all, two cherry pickers where working on the walls fixing the old siding with new siding, Cody hoped out of his truck as Manny walked up to him, "Hey boss, how are you?"

"Good, did anything new happen?" Cody asked.

"Yes, the Hunters are fucking persistant, we've scared off three groups so far, they can't see anything but they keep trying last night someone tried to sneak over the wall but was met with two guards throwing him back over," Minos answered.

"Really? Stubbornness really is stupidity," Cody said, shaking his head.

"One thing that's really interesting happened two days ago. They've been working on it since they found it," Manny said walking towards the building with Cody.

Cody saw Kelsie and Chuck walk towards him, "Where's Aaron?" Cody asked them when they drew closer.

"He's going around to some of the other contractors and helping them finish their projects to try and get this one in focus," Kelsie explained.

"We've got some interesting news by the way, I found the fuse box finally," Chuck said looking annoyed.

"Oh where?" Cody asked.

"Follow us, you're not going to believe this," Chuck said while Kelsie nodded in agreement.

"After we cleared out all the asbestos we gutted the walls, surprisingly the bones of this place are pretty strong where just reinforcing them as needed at this point," Kelsie said, pointing out the guys in the office area working on the frames.

"While the walls are down I started to trace the wires, and found most of them grouped here," Chuck said pointing to a bundle of wires going into the ground, "Turns out there's a basement here that wasn't on any of the plans." Chuck said looking serious.

"One of my guys who did concrete work for twenty years found it first, when he chiselled away some of it to reveal the edge of a staircase we set to work immediately, here's the progress," Kelsie said walking Cody to the top of the stairs where two men with jackhammers worked on the bottom layer.

Cody shivered as Kelsie said, "Theirs about a foot left and we can then try to open the door."

"Why haven't you opened it yet there's clearly enough room," Cody asked.

"The door won't budge at all in any way, we think it's concrete behind it too so we're going to just break it off," Kelsie explained as the two workers paused letting them talk.

"You okay Cody?" Chuck asked Cody, who was shaking.

"Nope, get your guys out of there now please," Cody demanded.

Kelsie looked at his worker and signaled for them to leave, "Take the jacks with you too."

"Sure thing boss," One said as they both walked up the stairs with the jack hammers.

Once they were out of sight Cody shifted slightly catching them all off guard as he walked towards the door using his soul sight to see the magic circles placed on the door, "Get Dennis here now, and gear up Manny," Cody ordered looking back at them with a deathly serious look.

"Right away," Manny said without hesitation.

"Has anyone felt anything or heard anything while working here?" Cody asked them, looking back at the spell.

"No, What's going on Cody?" Kelsie asked.

Dennis came running in to ear shot as Cody said out loud, "This door was sealed to contain demons."

"What!?" Dennis said bounding down the stairs with comically large glasses on, after staring at the door he nodded slightly out of breath, "Your right, never seen one like this, it's tailored specifically to the demons of pride, one moment," Dennis explained as he pulled out a book and started to write in it.

"What are you doing?" Cody asked him while studying the spell himself.

"Writing the runes down for study, I can break this seal in a few days," Dennis said.

"I can do it now, tell me when you're done," Cody responded, seeing the fault lines that would make the spell fizzle, "It's old and losing power now, it's tied to earth, I think the concrete was acting as a kind of powersource for it."

"Impressive. You're correct it's an old tactic that people used for sealing but in this day and age it's considered obsolete, break the stone, break the seal," Dennis explained, sounding impressed as Manny and two others came in covered in full gear.

"You have all the runes down?" Cody asked him.

"Yes, I'll put up an isolation barrier around the entrance, once it's broken let them go in first, by the way, this whole time you've been shaking," Dennis said looking nervously at Cody.

Cody looked at Kelsie and said, "Give me your mask, Manny you and your boys put one on now."

Kelsie tossed Cody his mask while Manny and his two partners put on full face masks, Cody put it on and turned to the door, he found the faults and cut three of them at once, the power in the spell fluctuate before the spell focused into a single point then exploded outwards with a gust wind, Cody turned the knob and moved to the side as manny shoved his way in, the men followed with Cody behind them.

Cody stood and stared at the large room easily twenty feet long while almost forty feet wide going under the factory, Cody saw various equipment pieces and a few desks along filing cabinets, What caught Cody's attention was the fact that their where a line of desiccated bodies along the back wall, all shriveled up Manny and his men looked around the room in shock, "Sir over here," one of the guard called out.

Cody moved towards them seeing that three bodies where huddle together where a large bin had been put on a desk with writing on it that said, 'Last will and testament of the survivors, we hope this will bring our killers to justice,' Cody put his hand up and said quietly, "Don't open it, Wait till I call my house first okay, This is what the Hunters where hiding," Cody finished staring at all the bodies all of clearly human.

In the quiet moment all four of them shivered as they heard a quiet rasp nearby, they all turned slowly seeing one of the corpses slowly raise it's hand it's eyeless head looking at them with fangs protruding from his top teeth, Cody noticed the ring and yelled, "WAIT!" Manny and the other two trained their guns on it but didn't fire.

"Sir?" Manny questioned.

Cody moved forward slowly, the nearly mummified vampire struggled to move at all, Cody gently took it's hand holding the ring on it's middle finger, "Who are you?" Cody asked.

The creature rasped but Cody could not understand it, "My name is Cody Draechon Son of Amell Draechon and Grandson of Jerald Draechon, Why do you have our family's ring?"

The creature froze and moved it's head towards Cody, rasping repeatedly until Cody understood a single word, "'Brother'."

Cody looked behind him with rage in his eyes causing them to noticeably glow red and said with a deadly voice that had all three trained men shiver in fear, "Go out and call my dad for me, LET NO ONE IN ONCE YOU LEAVE."

All three men ran obeying the order, Cody felt his arm and pulled out the demon contract that was in it, "I call upon this contract to save the life of my blood relative who became a demon of pride."

Behind Cody light sucking flames appeared and grew. Rosa stepped forward looking annoyed, "Who am I saving, I was busy," She said looking down and freezing seeing the mummy that was a vampire, she looked around and noticed the other bodies, "how long was he down here for?"

"Close to sixty years," Cody said quietly.

Rosa moved to his side and reached over him to touch the forehead of the man and frowned, "He's almost dead, we need to get blood into him now but with his condition I'll have to be a bit rough to save him, second he is a lesser demon under my supervision, do we have anywhere to take him?"

"Follow me," Cody said as he went to lift him.

Rosa stopped him and said, "Let me," Flames flowed around him and gently lifted him up Cody ran to the door with Rose behind him once at the door she vanished as if the light refused to touch her.

"Move, I need in the R. V now, bring all the blood bags to my location ASAP," Cody ordered as he stormed towards the R. V.

On his way there he grabbed the phone Manny was speaking into and said, "Whos this?"

"It's your dad, what's going on?" Amell asked.

"Who was Jeralds brother?" Cody asked as he stormed into the Door, he saw that all the blood bags had been pulled out.

"This is barely enough, I'll get some more after," Cody heard Rosa say, she appeared alongside the body everyone in the R. V panicked and readied for a fight.

Cody yelled at them, "Stand down, Continue dad,"

"My uncle's name is Eustace, explain yourself son now," Amell said.

"My guys uncovered a basement, almost sixty bodies down there, some of the survivors didn't die right away and used their last moments to gather evidence. We heard a noise that turned out to be a true vampire... with our family ring," Cody said the last part quietly.

Rosa took the blood and laid Eustace down on a cot and transformed slightly. She drank all of the blood causing her stomach to swell, she then slid her blood covered tongue into Eustace's throat and into his stomach where she gently fed him.

Eustace relaxed and slightly as the blood seeped into him slowly, Rosa held his hands down while watching him intently.

"Get the cargo copter ready NOW!? Pack up blood bags... ALL OF THEM, Son I'm going to make some calls now, expect law enforcement to descend on you, I'm coming to get my uncle," Amell said in a tone that Cody knew all too well.

"Dad, The demon I contracted with is here now helping to feed him, She is a demon and Eustace superior," Cody informed his dad.

"Son, did you say you contracted a demon?" Amell asked in disbelief, "You know what, that's a topic for another time, I'm headed your way now," Amell said as Cody heard the sound of dual blades spinning.

Cody turned back to Rosa and Saw that her stomach was smaller and Eustace's stomach was swollen, his colour had returned to his skin and his eyelids protruded now, "How is he?" Cody asked Rosa.

"Beddah, he well life," Rosa said around her tongue.

"You heard my dad right?" Cody asked her, Rosa nodded.

"Will you go with him back to my family house to heal him?" Cody asked Rosa who confirmed.

"Can'd leabe till he beddah," Rosa said.

"Will I have to give more blood for this or not," Cody asked her.

Rosa shook her head no, "I will offer one extra bag for saving his life," Cody said looking grateful.

Rosa gave Cody a sideways glance to study him then nodded.

Cody watched Rosa feed Eustace until she had no more to give, she then held up her own wrist and cut it lightly pulling out a small amount of black blood, "This will hasten his body ability to digest blood for now," Rosa said hold her wrist to his mouth where his tongue reached up pulling it in.

After a few minutes Eustace opened his eyes and coughed, "Wa... der."

Rosa pulled a bottle of water from a nearby fridge and dribbled it into Eustace's mouth where he smacked his lips, "Cody... Amell... coming?" Eustace asked him.

"Yes, to take you home," Cody said.

"Year?" Eustace asked.

"It's August of twenty twenty, you've been down there almost sixty years," Cody answered as Rosa massaged Eustace's legs and arms.

"Jerald?" Eustace wheezed.

"You'll find out," Cody answered as they heard Helicopter rotors moving closer quickly.

Rosa picked him up and walked behind Cody toward the door, as they stepped out they saw the Helicopter descend and the back ramp lowered where some men in uniform moved out but stopped once Manny said, "Area secure, crime scene is sealed, This way," He turned and pointed towards Cody and Rosa.

Amell ran forward, Cody paused seeing his father openly crying as he neared, "Uncle, your alive," Amell said quietly

"Amell... my bell... I died... down there... Demon now... take me... home," Eustace slowly wheezed.

Amell held him close then stood and looked Rosa in the eyes, "Demon of pride, I hereby accept you into my home and on my land, both of you," Amell said the last part looking down.

Rosa's breath hitched, "Your follower isn't happy about that," Rosa said looking over Amells shoulder, Cody noticed the air seemed to shift but with his soul sight he saw something nearly invisible move.

"I don't care, you're contracted to my son while you hold my uncle, you're a guest until your contract is complete then you'll be allowed to leave but returning will require another invite," Amell said leading them to the Helicopter.

"Son, I've called a few people and pulled in favors, the RCMP will be here shortly to take over, all of them are anti Hunter, let them do what they want," Amell explained to Cody who stood outside the heli.

"Dad, I think we should make this public, expose them for killing humans and not Demis," Cody said.

Amell looked at Cody and a slow predatory smile creeped along his face, "Your right, I was going to hide this and destroy them in private, but with the public against them they won't be able to act so freely," Amell laughed a laugh that Cody knew was a promise of retribution.

Cody stepped back as the rotors started to spin, once it was up Cody looked at Manny and said, "Get ready for hell, I think the Hunters are going to be very angry with us soon."

Manny smiled saying, "They won't know what hit them."

"Good, I need to make a call," Cody said, pulling out his phone and calling Sarah.

Sarah answered, "Hey sweetie, how's it going?"

"I'm going to be home late tonight, something big came up, I just wanted to let you and Carly know," Cody said into the phone while watching the workers stop work and pack up.

"Eveline's home by the way, what happened?" Sarah asked.

"That's nice, how is she? And we found a basement, turns out the rumors were true. Hunters slaughtered the whole factory shift, nearly sixty people dead, we're waiting for the RCMP to show up," Cody explained.

"Oh my god, that's horrible," Sarah said quietly, Cody heard Carly ask Sarah something then Sarah repeated the news.

"How's Eveline? Is she better?" Cody asked again.

"Yes, actually here," Sarah said, handing the phone to Eveline.

"Hey Cody, I'm doing fine, how are you doing?" Eveline asked him.

"Fine, a bit stunned but overall fine, How was your night?" Cody answered.

"Great, me and Garnet get along so well, it's... I don't know how to describe it really, I'm just a bit sad cause I can't see her show tonight," Eveline said, sounding shy and disappointed.

"You like her a lot don't you? Did you two not meet before?" Cody asked Eveline as he put the phone on speaker and searched his contacts.

"No, Garnet was one of Carly's friends, I've seen her in pictures or at Carly's house but never really met her one on one till now," Eveline answered, avoiding the first question.

"I see, that doesn't answer my other question, you seem to like her a lot," Cody asked again, finding the contact, 'family manager,' Cody sent a text message 'Is there an open seat at Starlight Gardens?'

"She's lovely, she's energetic for sure but she's also attentive and caring, that's what I get from our short meeting," Eveline answered quietly.

"Eveline, you sound happy, I'm not teasing you or getting jealous when I say this, but maybe she makes you feel things that I don't make you feel, that's not a bad thing in fact that's good to hear," Cody said genuinely as he received a reply, 'No one from the house is attending, Shall I make reservations for you and any partners?'

'Not for me, one of my partners was invited by one of the dancers, they had no open seats,' Cody texted back while listening to Eveline say, "You really think that's a good thing? but... like... Don't I kinda belong to you?"

"Eveline, you are your own being, you only belong to me if you want to. If you want to have a relationship with another person who is also sleeping with me that's fine, in fact that's better," Cody told Eveline.

'The reservation has been made, will your partner be up to the public standard for the Draechon house?' Cody then responded with, 'No, send makeup and a trainer before the show,' while Eveline asked, "Why would that be a good thing? Having two people date each other rather than you?"

"Simple, how many partners do I have currently?" Cody asked Eveline as he received a final text simply saying, 'it is done, they shall arrive two hours before the show to prepare and train,' Cody responded with a simple, 'Thank you.'

"Four? Me, Carly, Sarah and Pascal," Eveline answered.

"Yes and no, four for certain, but six potential and maybe more, we now might have Garnet join us, that's five, with a solid chance for Minerva to join us," Cody explained.

"That would make six, I still don't get it," Eveline said clueless.

"Oh Eveline," Cody sighed and continued, "If you had six guys that you were dating and having relationships with, how many dates would you be going on, or how many birthdays would you need to remember, special occasions, anniversaries?" Cody asked Eveline.

"I... think I get it now, dating a lot of people can be hard right?" Eveline asked.

"Correct, The difference between some relationships is that with you girls and other potential partners they'll most likely be moved in with me, so no having to pay rent or have split homes. Second, if you and Garnet are more focused on each other while I'm on the side it'll open me up to focusing on someone else for a bit to help them feel included, I don't want any of my partners to feel left out, it's easier with three girls but the difficult triples with every other person added," Cody explained as he looked up and saw a small convoy of cruisers and law enforcement pull in, "I've gotta go now, talk to you girls later," Cody said hanging up and jumping out of his truck.

A tall but burly clean shaven man in a decorated uniform stepped out of the back of a vehicle and noticed Cody and walked to him holding out his hand, "Hello, I'm Commissioner Woodlock, you must be Cody, Amell's son?"

"Correct, nice to meet you, this way, you might want to get a mask," Cody said Leading Commissioner Woodlock to the basement stairs.

Cody watched him pull a handkerchief out of his pocket and covered his mouth, men behind where were putting on forensic suits, Cody led him through the building and down the stairs and into the basement, Cody used his phone light to shine it on a back of the room while saying, "It would seem some of them survive the attack and used their last moments alive to gather what evidence they could," Cody said pointing to the large bin on a desk with tape on it.

Woodlock looked at it and noticed the nearby bodies had dresses on, "I think the survivors were the office ladies, but what confuses me is the bodies, they shouldn't be like this," He said looking around in confusion.

"One of the people here turned into a vampire," Cody said quietly, Woodlock's eyes snapped to him in shock.

"HA, knowing the Hunters they probably thought they were killing some monsters but instead they created one, where is it?" Woodlock asked.

"Ask my dad that," Cody said as people in suits came in to set up some lighting.

"Let's go, We will let them do their job, Travis, get a few guys on this bin now, Take a picture of this phrase first," Woodlock said reading the words 'Last will and testament of the survivors, we hope this will bring our killers to justice,' outloud to the others who arrived.

"How are you with reporters and such?" Woodlock asked.

"Look who my dad is, we all were trained to deal with reporters and such," Cody said following Woodlock out.

"Good, they're going to be here in a bit, something like this can't be kept quiet, I want to get as much information from that bin before they get here tho," Woodlock explained as he stood at the top of the stairs where others where setting up a canvas tent over the entrance.

"Depending on what said, the Hunters might be publicly fucked, I know Dad is going to go public with this after the evidence if found," Cody said watching them set up.

"I hope so, I've been wanting to take them down for years, the bastards are always clean with strong alibis and heavy backing, but if this becomes public their backers will back off to save image, once their hung out to dry I'll descend on them like a swarm of sharks on a whale," Woodlock said with a glint in eyes that surprised Cody.

"They hurt you didn't they? I know that look, it's a look of revenge and hatred," Cody said knowingly.

Woodlock sighed and relaxed his face before continuing, "Your right, my wife was a jellyfish Demi, They found her while she was coming back from visiting family in the Atlantic. Now it's my turn to end them."

"I'm sorry for your loss, I haven't had much contact with them but everything I hear is bad," Cody said watching people go in and out of the tent carrying the Bodies up, One man came up with old looking documents.

"Sir you're not going to believe this, All the documents are laminated. Second there's a stack of drawings made by one survivor of all the faces of the attackers, their poor quality but good enough to get a match. Third, they made a list of the deceased using ID cards and descriptions of their clothing that'll let us bury them all and inform any family that's left. And Finally, it's a writing testament signed by seven people, three of which were shot but non lethally, it explains what happened in great detail by a woman who watched while hiding in one of the lockers, she saw and heard EVERYTHING including them calling themselves Hunters and hunting one of the employees who was born with Porphyria which causes the person to get blisters from the sun," The man in full body suit said.

"They're fucked now, they have no way to stop what's coming," Woodlock said before laughing loudly, "Travis, I know this isn't protocol, but send pictures of all the evidence to the Draechon household, they called me to get this done I want this to go to them, Amell can rain hellfire down on them."

"Right away sir," Travis said before returning to the crime scene.

"What are your plans now?" Woodlock asked Cody, noticing all the workers were standing near their vehicles watching the people work.

"Wait till it's cleared up then either turn it into something else, as for what happened I'll reach out to the families and tell them I'll build a small memorial in the park I'm going to install in the front with all the victims names and maybe talk to dad about getting these people properly buried and looked after," Cody answered.

"Sounds good, I think the families will appreciate that," Woodlock said.

Cody sighed and stood watching over the proceedings thinking to himself about how this could be the start of something big.

Amell Stood over the bed that Eustace was laying in with Rosa and two others massaging him while her tongue was feeding him blood directly, Eugene standing nearby holding out a tablet for Amell to look at, "It would seems one person witnessed everything from a locker, they revealed themselves are Hunters and where after a human with a disorder that caused them to have blisters in sunlight."

Amell looked at the tablet and read some of it smiling, "Eugene, call the press and invite them here, find a picture of Eustace, I'm going to tell the world that they killed him. Eustace, you're going to have to change your name, we can have you publicly be known as your own grandson, what do you think?" Amell asked him.

Eustace held his thumb up in agreement, Rosa pulled her tongue out and sighed, "There that should be all he needs, you can now drink for yourself right? How's your body feeling?"

"Sore, the massaging helps, I can feel everything is okay now," Eustace said, flexing his legs and arms.

"Good now a true test, Everyone leave please," Rosa asked them. They all looked to Amell who nodded but stayed, "You might see something you can't unsee," Rosa warned him.

"I don't care, I'm not leaving his side till I know he's better, once he is I have to bring him somewhere," Amell explained.

"Fine, your sanity, find your true form, you were too weak to find it before but you should have enough strength to," Rosa asked him standing and offering her hand to him.

Eustace took her hand and stood shakily, bracing himself on her as he took a few steps towards the center of the room, Rosa stopped Amell from coming closer, "Don't interfere, I shouldn't be interfering either but I was asked to by contract," Rosa explained looking Amell in the eyes.

Rosa stepped back from Eustace who breathed and let the black flames of chaos seep out of him, his body started to distort, the space around him shift and cracked, Amell's eyes opened in shock and disbelief, without realising it himself Amell started to vomit, Rosa stood in front of him and guided him to the door, "Now you know why I asked you to leave, mortal minds cannot comprehend what lays behind reality."

Amell leaned against the well and slid down the world spinning around him colours shifting and mixing, sounds changing and fusing, inside the room Rosa watched as Eustace distorted reality find his true form something didn't sit right as he reformed unchanged, "Somethings missing, I need something else to shift completely," Eustace said knowingly what was wrong instinctively.

"I need to ask Amell something, where is he," Eustace asked as Rosa handed him a robe, all his clothes having been burned off.

"Outside letting reality settle again," Rosa answered as she opened the door and saw that Amell's pupils where large and the white of his eyes had become pink and blue, Rosa put a small flame in front of him a near white hand shot out from the air stopping her, "Heal him yourself then or let me," Rosa said to the being or order.

The being created a small sphere of white water that washed over Amell's face, his eyes returned to normal and he relaxed, "I feel horrible," Amell said, closing his eyes. The hand disappeared into the folds of reality again.

"Welcome to looking behind the curtain," Rosa said, helping him stand, "Eustace needs to ask you something."

Amell walked into the room aided by Rosa, "Yes uncle?"

"I need dragon's blood, just a drop," Eustace said.

"Follow me," Amell said walking down the hall stumbling a bit, Rosa held him again.

"Next time a demon tells you something, ask why," Rosa explained as she helped him walk.

After some time they reached the garden, Amell walked by himself still feeling unwell but more normal, "Rosa you can't follow into here since you don't have dragon's blood in you," Amell said.

Rosa smirked following them still, Amell looked back in shock seeing her enter the nest but before he could say anything they were teleported to the bone chamber along with Rosa and Eustace.

Before them hovered many dragons all baring their fangs one said in a voice so powerful Amell covered his ears in pain, "WHY BRING THE CHAOS CREATURES TO OUR NEST!"

Amell couldn't Answer but Rosa did, "I have a contract with Cody the pure blooded dragon, This man here is your descendant who died human and became a vampire, I am his overseer and was asked by CONTRACT to heal him, He cannot reach his true form without dragons blood thus not being fully healed."

All the dragons looked at each other before the one who spoke leaned down to Rosa, "Your brave little bat, let's see this contract."

Rosa pulled the contract letting the dragon read the contents, "Interesting, he contracted you to heal and not to fight. Now as for you lesser demon, why should we not burn your body and release your soul from chaos?" the dragon asked Eustace.

"I'll be honest, my greatest pride is in my family's heritage and name, I will do everything I can to ensure that the family isn't only safe but also taken care of, all my efforts will be put into this family," Eustace said staring down the dragon while others looked at each other speaking with low rumbles.

The dragon leaned in close putting it's eye in front of Eustace's face dwarfing his head, Eustace felt it's gaze sink into his being, after a tense moment the dragon laughed slightly and pulled back, "How interesting, the strings of fate tie you both to our noble nest, Child of dragons who became a being of chaos awaken your blood and become what your fated to be," The dragon said lifting it's paw facing it upwards. A thin like of red came from the ceiling forming into a golf ball sized droplet of blood, it hovered to Eustace, "Drink of this an attain your true self, as for you two, you should leave, Young one please walk this guest out the proper way," The dragon told Amell.

"Yes ancestor," Amell said as he bowed slightly, "This way Rosa, I'll lead you out."

"My contracted request was to see him fully healed, I can't leave until then," Rosa said matter of factly, the dragon tilted it's head sideways slightly.

"Know this demon, he will be more than healed, look into yourself and feel the truth of this as the answer to the request," The dragon told Rosa gently.

Rosa closed her eyes bringing the contract to mind and used the guiding chains of fate and found that the dragon was right, she was done and could leave, "I'll take my leave then, Do any of you have words for the young pureblood who contracted me?" Rosa asked without thinking, for a split second she looked confused as to why she asked.

The same sunset pink dragon with feathered wings that gifted Cody stepped forward, a piece floated off herself and she handed it to Rosa, "Demon return to your contractor and hand him this, I knew he was going to be prolific with his love but his control is lacking, this will awaken his control whether it takes root or not."

Rosa took the small pink orb and shivered when it touched her skin, she felt all the power within and knew that it could make her an overlord of hell quickly, Rosa took in a deep breath and expelled the thoughts of power, she looked up and flinched.

All the dragons were staring at her with mixed looks ranging from amusement to excitement and even sadness, she stored the piece within her and made sure that no power leaked into her, the dragons smiled and faded. "I'll admit I'm quite shocked that a demon such as yourself didn't try to take that power for themselves," The pink dragon said with a hint of admiration.

"My pride is too great to fall into greed, I know my goals and this power while nice is not useful, I don't want to have to fight any of the overlords to take their positions," Rosa explained as she turned to Amell ready to leave.

"I'm sorry for this little demon but I must know something," The pink dragon said as she grabbed Rosa and lifted her to her face suppressing the chaos within her and looking into her very soul, "SHOW ME!!" the dragon said with such power that Rosa changed forms as her memories from birth to now flowed out.

Rosa struggled helplessly against the dragon as her life story showed itself to the dragon, after it was done Rosa had tears in her eyes having remember things she didn't want to including her suffering before death, "I did not want to remember that," Rosa said with a mix of anger and hatred pointed to the dragon that held her.

"I'm sorry dear, but now I know what I needed to know, Show me the contract between you and the pureblood," The dragon ordered more than asked.

Rosa resisted then stopped once a sliver of fate within her essence shifted slightly she knew right away to do as asked not wanting to go against Fate, the contract floated between them and the dragon read it then grinned, "I'm going to add something to it, allow it," the dragon ordered.

Rosa nodded looking defeated as the contract glowed slightly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cody felt his arm grow warm, he excused himself and ran into the area between large buildings where he closed the door and pulled out the contract watching as an addendum was added in pink lettering, 'From this point forward all children father by the Contractor shall henceforth be protected by the Contractee. Should any intent to harm be pointed at them the Contractee will be notified and allowed to judge if interference is needed.'
Cody shook his head as he mumbled, "What the fuck is happening at home."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The dragon put Rosa down letting her change back to her human form albeit now nude, Rosa summoned hellfire to cover her naked body from neck to toe, it looked like a full leather bodysuit, "I HATE YOU," Rosa said looking at the dragon with such hatred that other dragons started to growl.

"I'm sorry to defile you in such a way, but note that it was about children only, Knowing your past and your true reason for pride can you truly say that you hate what I did, we both know I couldn't have changed it without you and his approval, it stayed so both parties agreed," The dragon said quietly to Rosa.

Rosa simply stared at her with simmering rage before looking around and walking towards the stairs, Amell quickly followed Rosa as they climbed the stairs they reached the tenth step and teleported into the empty council chamber, "Follow me please," Amell said quietly.

As they walked towards the entrance Rosa felt uncomfortable by the sheer number of people staring at her from various caves and seating areas, "How many people are here?" She asked Amell who waved at some of them.

"Close to a thousand, we dragons live to roughly three hundred years, you're looking at roughly twelve generations of Draechons," Amell answered as they entered the cave that led to the exit of the nest.

Rosa stopped and sniffed the air before walking into the infirmary, Amell noticed and followed, "Why did you come here?" Amell asked.

Rosa ignored him and Beatrice who looked up at Rosa then Amell questioningly. Amell shook his head, Rosa walked towards the only filled bed and saw Mirnerva, Minerva jumped in shock as she said, "Miss Agua, What are you doing here?"

Rosa smiled as she responded, "Business brought me here now why are you here?"
