Next morning, Tanya entered the kitchen to the smell of toasted bread. She was in her usual tee and shorts but her eyes were sparkling, maybe a little too bright for someone who had barely slept last night. She couldn't stop thinking about the conversation she heard between her Mira maasi and Rahul uncle last night.
They wanted her away for the weekend so they could fully explore their desires in an empty house. Any other day, she would have gladly gone out and stayed with a friend. But last night made her realize how sexy her maasi and uncle can be. And now that she had a sniff, she wanted to continue the tease.
"Good morning, lovebirds," she said entering the kitchen.
Mira was lightly humming at the stove while Rahul was seated at the table, scrolling through his phone.
He looked up at Tanya, a little intrigued, "Lovebirds? Weren't we the boring oldies for you?"
Tanya smiled a little hearing that.
"Well, let's just say...," she smirked, "a love song changed my opinion."
Mira coughed in her tea, looking back with amusement. "Love song?"
"Mmmm," Tanya smirked again with an innocent face, "I guess the walls in this house are not as thick as you think."
Rahul and Mira shared a knowing gaze at that. Did their niece really hear them last night? And if she did, how much?
While they were still talking through their eyes, Tanya reached across the table for jam. She deliberately brushed over Rahul's hand and let the touch linger longer than normal.
"You know," Tanya said in a teasing voice, "I never thought married people had... what can I say... so much energy?"
That confirmed their suspicion - Tanya heard them having sex last night. Mira looked at Rahul again. As Tanya's maasi, she knew this situation wasn't appropriate. But she was also glad that Tanya was taking this quite well. Rather too well, actually.
"Eat your bread, Tanya," Mira said sternly, trying to shut down the conversation.
Tanya just grinned wider. Shoving the last chunk of bread jam in her mouth, she got up to get ready for college. However, before leaving, she dropped another bomb on them.
"Uh maasi, I was thinking of calling my friend over this weekend. Something like a sleepover. Is that okay?"
Rahul froze like a deer caught in the headlights. How much exactly did this girl hear last night? Mira exchanged a quick glance with him, almost suppressing a laugh.
"Of course," she said with a soft smile on her lips, "Your room, your guest! Why would we have a problem with that?"
"Still, I just wanted to check, you know," Tanya said slyly, "I would never want to invade your privacy."
Rahul kept his phone aside and finally smiled.
"You're trouble, aren't you?" he teased.
"Me? Never," Tanya spoke in her innocent voice again, "I'm just observant."
With that, she jogged back to her room, leaving Rahul and Mira to their own thoughts.
At first, they thought she was just teasing them. But during dinner on Wednesday night, she confirmed her friend Anaya was indeed coming over the weekend.
Anaya was Tanya's classmate in college. They had met during the orientation and became best friends since then. From seating side-by-side in classes, to sharing laughter-filled walks and secret glances, their conversations had flown freely. Nothing had been spoken aloud, but there was a tension building up between them. Tanya wasn't sure what it was, but she hoped the weekend would clear some things between her and Anaya.

When the doorbell rang on Friday evening, Tanya literally hopped out of her room to open the door. Outside, Anaya stood wearing a denim jacket and leggings. She had a backpack over her shoulder and a smile that had hints of nervousness.
"Welcome to Casa Chaos," Tanya announced, hugging Anaya tight.
Mira appeared behind her from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a cloth. "Welcome," she said, offering Anaya a handshake which somehow turned into a half-hug, "we've heard bits about you throughout this week."
Anaya let out a sheepish laugh. "Just the good bits, I hope."
As she was entering the house, Rahul too came back from office.
"You must be Anaya," Rahul said with a smile, "Nice to know this nerd here has a friend too."
Anaya gave another sheepish smile as Tanya pulled her to her room.
"We'll do the intros during dinner," Tanya shouted before disappearing into the room with her friend.
Rahul and Mira both chuckled at the youthful excitement they were witnessing.
"Go freshen up," Mira said, hugging Rahul from the side, "dinner is almost ready."
He gave her a quick peck on the lips and went on to change.

Inside Tanya's room, the fairy lights blinked faintly across the bookshelf. Anaya sat at the edge of the bed, surveying the room.
"Your room is cozy," she said looking at Tanya, "Smells like jasmine."
"That's Mira maasi for you," Tanya replied sitting beside her, "she weaves magic around the house."
Anaya nodded, impressed. She changed into comfortable track pants and t-shirt while Tanya put on her favourite playlist. Soon, the girls were sprawled on the bed, tangled somewhere between upright and sideways. Conversations drifted from college gossip to travel dreams, from crushes to theories about love.
At some point, Anaya reached for a hair clip and swirled Tanya's hair absentmindedly. Her fingers were casually brushing the nape of Tanya's neck.
"You have a freckle here," she said softly, grazing her thumb at a spot just below Tanya's hairline.
Tanya turned her head just a little. Their eyes met, but neither smiled. They just kept staring into each other's eyes.
"I know," Tanya murmured after a while, "You noticed it the other day at college too."
Anaya's fingers stopped moving, but didn't pull away. "Maybe, I just like touching it," she said with a glint in her eyes.
Tanya didn't answer. She just closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment.

Dinner that evening was lively. While Rahul and Mira didn't get the teenage jokes that were shared amongst the girls, they did notice the closeness that was being shared between the two. The way Anaya's hand lingered on Tanya's wrist while passing the paneer. Or the way Tanya's knee brushed against Anaya's under the table. Neither made a show of it, but neither withdrew.
Rahul and Mira watched this casual closeness with quiet intrigue.
After the dinner, they shifted to the living room for their weekend movie night. Rahul as usual stretched on one end of the sofa with Mira tucked under his arm. Anaya sat cross-legged on the floor while Tanya leaned against the sofa, head resting just beside Anaya's knee.
About halfway through the movie, Mira whispered to Rahul, "They're like us, you know. Before we confessed our love to each other."
Rahul glanced at her, and then at the girls. Anaya had shifted slightly, her thigh pressing against Tanya's arm. Tanya in turn was running lazy circles on Anaya's knee.
"Are we watching a romance on TV or in front of us?" Rahul murmured.
"Maybe both," Meera said with a smile.
When the credits started to roll, Mira asked if everyone was up for another movie. But Tanya was already on her feet and dragging Anaya.
"We'll just watch something in my room," Tanya grinned, "you know, give you two some privacy?"
"Oh," Mira grinned back, "And here I was thinking you were looking for privacy."
Tanay gave a playful wink to Mira, before running off to her room, dragging Anaya behind.
Once inside, Anaya asked, "Okay... what was that?" Her mind was still caught up in the teasing exchange she witnessed between Tanya and her maasi.
Tanya slid onto the bed and stretched out with both arms behind her head. "Well...," her voice dropped just enough to tease, "I may have accidentally heard some of their private talks."
"Wait, what?" Anaya asked, surprised.
"Nothing scandalous, really," Tanya continued, "just playful. I thought I was just hearing a couple share some post-sex love, but suddenly my name popped up in the conversation. I guess my charm is just that magical."
Tanya's cheeks flushed with something between embarrassment and amusement as she remembered that moment last sunday.
"That's... weirdly hot," Anaya said with a mixture of surprise and warmth, "And how exactly did you charm them, miss?"
"Oh we have the whole weekend to talk about that," Tanya said grabbing a pillow, "for now, pick a movie. Romcom or steamy?"
"How about something ridiculous and hot?" Anaya asked, lying down beside Tanya.

An hour later, they lay side by side under a thin blanket. Oversized t-shirts draped their thighs, while the bare feet brushed each other every now and then. The laptop in front of them was playing a steamy romcom full of stolen kisses, heated glances, and fights melting away in bedsheets.
At first, they just laughed through those scenes, but as the pace shifted to slow shimmering romances, the pace of their breaths changed too.
As Tanya turned towards Anaya, their eyes met, and neither looked away. Tanya leaned in slowly. Their lips met, barely at first. Just a touch. But it sparked something invisible. A pulse. A glow. Like a question was being answered.
The second kiss stayed long, and then deepened. Hands found hands. Fingers threaded and then wandered. Curious, gentle fingers grazing over bare thighs and sensitive stomachs. The blanket slipped somewhere to the floor like it never belonged.
When Tanya's finger found Anaya's navel, she let out a chuckle. "First time I've done something like this," Anaya whispered.
"Me too," Tanya replied, her lips brushing lightly along Anaya's jaw.
Soon, the t-shirts were peeled away, revealing skin that was impossibly warm and tender. Delicate fingers traced collarbones, shoulders, and the small of the back. They both trembled in places they didn't expect to. There were moans, shy gasps, and soft laughter when hands fumbled before finding rhythm.
By the time the laptop screen turned black, they lay curled together, naked and wrapped.
Anaya slowly leaned into Tanya like she belonged. Her forehead pressed to Tanya's collarbone, lips moving downward with each kiss. When Anaya found a rhythm on and around her nipple, Tanya's fingers clenched the bedsheet. She was edging towards something she had never experienced before. Her body rose into Anaya's mouth, craving for that touch.
The realization hit her just as the pleasure did. A strangled sound caught in her throat, and then she let go.
Anaya felt Tanya's body rising and curling as her arms reached for something to hold on to. But what she held was her. And that flooded Anaya's heart with heat. Moments later when it was her turn to experience Tanya's magical hands and lips, Anaya felt her own orgasm arrive.
As their breaths steadied, they didn't know when they fell asleep, tangled in each other's arms.

In the living room, Rahul and Mira were tangled in a rhythm of their own. Another movie played on, but neither of them cared for the dialogues or the acts. Mira had her legs curled beneath her, head resting easily against Rahul's shoulder. His arm was around her with fingers tracing idle, familiar shapes just above her breast.
"Tanya's friend is... charming," she murmured in between.
"Mmhmm," Rahul replied.
Mira angled her head to glance up at him, barely containing her smirk, "That's a suspiciously non-committal reply."
"I'm just saying," he said, lips grazing her forehead, "If I were in college again and a girl like Anaya laughed at my jokes..."
"You'd faint again, wouldn't you?"
Both let out a laugh they had grown comfortable sharing with each other. Rahul tilted towards Mira, his lips brushing her cheeks before finding her own. The kiss was slow, deep, and sensual.
"Shall we move to the room?" he asked, though his voice lacked urgency.
"Maybe," she said, her lips already on his again.
Her fingers were just slipping into his pants when they heard a sound. A soft, muffled giggle, delicate as glass.
Both paused instantly, head lifting slightly. Another giggle followed, then a quiet moan. There was a faint rustle of sheets. Laughter again. And then silence.
They didn't need a dictionary to know what this was. These were sounds of pleasure coming from Tanya's room. Rahul and Mira didn't know how to react. Should they go check or retreat to their own room? But something kept them rooted on the sofa.
Slowly, Rahul reached for Mira, pulling her under him in one smooth motion. Her back met the cushions with a soft thud as his lips found hers without hesitation. This time, the kiss was burning with intensity. It felt like days, maybe months of withheld desire had finally found an outlet.
As Rahul's lips moved to her neck, Mira's breath hitched for a moment. "This isn't about them," she murmured, her voice barely audible.
"I know," Rahul answered between the kisses.
"But maybe it is a little," she whispered again, this time letting out an exhale.
He didn't deny it, only nodded. His fingers were already at the buttons of her shirt, undoing them one by one. His hands might be familiar with her body, but this hunger was something else. When his fingers reached under the shirt to graze her boobs, Mira let her head fall back.
They didn't make it to the bedroom. They didn't need to.
On that sofa, in the flicker of the long-forgotten TV, they moved like a slow burning fire. There was nothing rushed, nothing frantic. Fingers moved in practiced rhythm, mouths explored familiar places, clothes slipped off like a slow unveiling. Soon, her thighs hooked around his waist, drawing him closer. It felt like they were rediscovering each other with every stroke.
They were still themselves. Laughing between the kisses. Eyes meeting in affection. But there was something different that night. Something sharpened by what they had heard. The knowledge of desires being explored in the other room mirrored a strange kind of hunger in both.
By the time Mira's nails dragged down Rahul's back, the same symphony was heard throughout the house.
