Masters of the Opera Ep. 6

Sakura, who is now an international soprano, travels with Bertrand to Milan, Italy, where Sakura has been cast as Gilda in a production of Verdi's Rigoletto at the La Scala opera house. This historic opera house is the Mecca of all opera houses. As luck would have it, Bianca Cavanaugh is also singing at the same time at La Scala, in a production of Puccini's Tosca. Drama ensues when Sakura is assigned Bianca's dressing room and Bianca finds her there. She causes a scene. After throwing away Sakura's wardrobe and personal items from the dressing room, Bertrand confronts his wife and they have a heated argument. Bianca plots to arrange for Bertrand's town car driver to be drunk so that he can cause an accident which would kill Bertrand. Bianca goes out on the town after a successful premiere of Tosca. She gets Bert's chauffeur, Tyrone, a black man, to have sex with her after getting drunk. Then Tyrone takes Bert to the premiere of Sakura's performance in Rigoletto. On the way, he crashes into a truck. Bertrand survives the car crash but Tyrone dies of injuries. Bertrand suspects his wife arranged the accident. Sakura triumphs as Gilda in Rigoletto. But as they head back to the US, Bertrand vows his own revenge against his wife.
