Chapter 1: Old Tricks, New Enemies
Felicia Hardy, AKA the Black Cat, a voluptuous, playful, seductive woman. Some call her a thief, others a heroine, in truth: she is both. Ever since her first encounter with the Amazing Spider-Man, her attention in him was almost irreversibly peaked, having always taken great interest in the webslinger. Whilst she often fights for her own ends and goals, she has since become an invaluable ally for the hero. As such Felicia was the one Spider-Man had asked for assistance in stopping the former Dr Octavius, the brilliant scientist once renowned for his genius used for the benefit of mankind, now driven mad by the accident that fused his metal tentacles to his body. The arachnid hero had investigated the mad doctor's plans, however was unable to reveal them entirely, what is known at this time is that if his plan succeeds, he will unleash devastating effects upon all of Manhattan. As such, the cat and the spider join forces once again to stop the plans of Doctor Octopus.
The duo fight a fierce battle against the multi-limbed villain, his remarkable mind and almost indestructible metal tentacles making him more than a formidable opponent, even between the two seasoned fighters. Their arena is one of the Dr's new labs, a mysterious large circular device at the centre of their battleground. Being of a scientific mind himself, Peter Parker isn't sure what the device is, but he knows if it was created by Doctor Octopus it can be nothing good, intending to examine it further once the pair conclude their confrontation with their foe. The battle is a long and hard one, during which both heroes are almost defeated by the mad scientist's constrictive grasp, Felicia in particular had bears the brunt of a tight squeeze, the appendage wraps tightly around her latex clad body, stretching her suit across her skin with low creaks as the Doctor's new rubbery surfaced tentacles close around her body, low creaks accompany each crushing motion. Luckily for the feline heroine, her arachnid partner is able to distract their opponent long enough for her to escape, though Black Cat herself is a formidable fighter in her own right and returns the favour to Spider-Man several times throughout the battle. After the drawn-out battle, Black Cat and Spider-Man are victorious, their experiences fighting together in the past are too much for the villain to handle, resulting in them overwhelming and defeating him.
In the aftermath of the battle, Spider-Man decides to interrogate the defeated villain, while Black Cat lets her curiosity take over, wandering close to the mysterious spherical device, looking over it with interest. As the arachnid hero approaches his foe, Doctor Octopus utters a small laugh, his injured and exhausted body not capable of a louder bellow. Spider-Man looks in confusion as his defeated enemy reaches into his suit for what appears to be a remote of some sort. In an instant, Peter realises the Doctor's true intent, this is a trap! Whatever the purpose of the machine in the centre of their arena, they are about to find out. The arachnid hero turns to shout for Felicia to retreat, about to shoot a web to haul her away from it, but he is a second too late as Doctor Octopus presses his thumb against a switch with a malicious grin. After a low buzzing sound, the device emits a bright light right in front of Black Cat, the blinding flash filling her vision white before going completely black.
Felicia finds herself struggling to comprehend her surroundings, senses dulled to almost nothing, her vision filled with complete darkness, sounds almost inaudible, memories hazy and foggy, the blast driving her to the very edge of consciousness. Her senses slowly begin to return to her, the fierce battle fought previously slowly forming like pictures in her mind. Gradually, she begins to feel solid ground on her back, she reasons must have been knocked back from the explosion, but after a moment she realises the ground beneath her does not feel like the metal surface their battle had taken place, it feels softer. Felicia's hearing gradually able to make out the previously inaudible noises, a low breeze and rustling of foliage, her face soon able to feel the wind. The scent of nature and the outdoors fill her nostrils. Finally, her vision begins to return, light seeping in from the darkness, extremely blurry at first, but eventually becoming clearer, a beautiful blue sky starts to form in front of her, leaved branches just within her sight range.
Alarmed, Black Cat tries to suddenly jerk to her feet, but still weakened from the battle and presumably whatever effects of the device, only manages to sit up slightly, her body still heavy and difficult to move. Her latex suit creases against her waist and arms as she bends in her attempts to move. The revelation of her current condition causes Felicia to take a more cautious approach to recovering, slowly raising her thighs and bending her knees to plant her feet to the floor, creaking the latex as further creases appear against her skin, the tight suit accommodating her movements. As she slowly recovers and collects her thoughts, Felicia tries to figure out where exactly she is, and... where is Spider-Man?? This thought prompts her head to turn from side to side frantically, trying to locate her arachnid partner.
"Spider-Man?!" She calls out, hoping to hear a sarcastic reply from the hero, but is only met with the echo of her own desperate shouts. Not knowing the current whereabouts of her ally, she worries about his state, hoping he was able to escape the blast or whatever it was. Felicia reasons that the only way she can ensure Peter's safety is to recover from her own state and discover where she is herself, forced to put these thoughts to the back of her mind for the time being as she slowly brings herself to her feet. Rolling to her front, Felicia places her latex coated palms against the ground, fingers clenching at the grass covered soil, gradually straightening her arms to lift her body, braced by her knees planted firmly against the ground, pushing herself to all fours as the latex suit stretches against her ass, creases forming between her thighs and core as low creaks emit from the motion.
Black Cat finally gets to her feet as she stands straight, the disorientation still present, though slowly diminishing. At this point, she is aware she is in a forest of some kind, perhaps even a jungle, greenery filling her vision, no other sights around. Deducing she must have been teleported somewhere by the strange invention of the mad Doctor, it is clear she is no longer in New York, in fact she may be in another part of the world entirely. What the feline heroine is blissfully unaware of at this point is that she is no longer in her own world where she is familiar with the dangerous villains and challenges she faces there, but in an entirely different world with it's own villains she has never faced before and is woefully underprepared to face, especially given her current condition. While she is not aware of it now, such a threat already has her in their sights, and she will soon find out.
From within the dense foliage, a villainess is already aware of the intruder in her domain, having had her curiosity captured by this mysterious visitor. Poison Ivy emerges from a large flower, it's petals blooming to reveal her presence, not far away from the bewildered anti-hero. "What do we have here?" Ivy remarks in a delighted and playful voice "Maybe we should greet our unexpected guest" Her hand slowly raises, the plants around her coming to life and following her movements as her flower transports her like a carriage, closing the distance between the villainess and her unexpecting prey. Meanwhile, Black Cat has started to make her way through the greenery, vines hanging low from the trees above. Moving through them, she uses her latex clad arms and hands to part the smooth plants, creating a path for her to step through, her heels trampling the plants below. Being one with the greenery, Poison Ivy can feel these motions, her prey must be punished for harming her precious babies.
Coming to a small clearing, Felicia approaches the centre, looking for some indication of an exit or a way to discover where exactly she is. Suddenly, she hears a sultry voice speak affirmatively from within the dense foliage "My my, this isn't the same cat I expected to see here" Black Cat spins her head to the direction of the voice, just in time to see a beautiful woman emerge from within the heavy forest, riding what appears to be a flower. She stands, almost regally, her torso covered in leaves, stopping over her chest, latex gloves coating her arms up to the biceps, thigh high stockings of the same material clinging tightly to her legs, her skin having a slightly green tint, contrasted by a deep green colouring of her lips and crimson red hair. Black Cat is already accustomed to seeing beings not entirely human, but something seemed different about this one, her chest filling with dread as their gazes meet, the feline anti-hero sensing a different look in her opponent's eyes, not the usual bloodlust she feels from other enemies, but a different kind of lust altogether.
Never one to show her cards to her foes, Black Cat keeps herself composed, despite her weakened state, she takes a confident stance, her lips curved into a slight smile and addresses her unexpected opponent in a clear and bold voice "And what exactly are you supposed to be? The guardian of the forest?" She quips, before taking a serious expression, glaring at this new threat "Tell me what I need to know, who are you and where am I? I'm not above making you talk if I have to" She threatens, raising her hands to display her razor-sharp claws, looking to intimidate her foe. Black Cat, of course, is bluffing. She is fully aware she knows nothing of her opponent's powers and capabilities, even if she was in peak condition, she knows victory still would not be guaranteed. Her eyes subtly scan her surroundings for potential escape routes in case her strategy fails.
Poison Ivy remains undeterred, already seeing the similarities between this mysterious visitor and her own world's Catwoman, reasoning that their capabilities are likely similar, giving her an advantage her opponent is unaware of, she wonders if this feline character is simply a copycat of Selina Kyle. "Such big words from a little kitten, how adorable" Ivy replies in a playful voice "My babies and I will have such fun with you" Her hand raises as two vines shoot out from within the greenery, rapidly approaching the feline heroine. Black Cat acts fast, despite her still not being fully recovered, reacts on instinct, slashing the vines with her sharp claws, severing them and letting them fall uselessly to the floor. For a very brief moment, Felicia's demeanour breaks, her barriers slightly crack as a wave of panic flashes in her eyes, this doesn't go unnoticed by the mistress of plants.
Poison Ivy keeps her composure, despite her seething with rage internally from her babies being harmed by her opponent acting in self-defence. "My, such a feisty little kitten" She remarks in a sensual voice "Looks like you need to be taught a lesson" Her hand raises once more with a single index finger extended. Vines emerge quickly from the ground, catching the still disorientated Black Cat off guard as the smooth plants wrap around her ankles, constricting tightly as it reacts creakily with her latex suit. "What the hell??" Felicia calls out in a panicked voice, looking down at her restrained limbs, taking her eyes off Poison Ivy, who uses the distraction to summon more vines as her prey is about to slash at the plants keeping her legs pinned together.
Black Cat's reactions were not quick enough, as the vines approach faster than she can move, wrapping around her body, pinning her arms to her sides, the smooth plant firmly rubbing against her tight latex suit, squeaking and creaking as the greenery closes around her, squeezing her tightly. Felicia struggles within the tight grip, shuffling her body against the vines, creasing and squeaking the suit against her skin. "Unnngghh" Small grunts and laboured breaths escape her lips as she tries to fight the constrictive grasp. "What ARE you?!" She demands, looking back up at her captor. Poison Ivy simply smirks and responds "I am the Mistress of this place, and you... you are my prey.."
