Hi, I'm Liticia Litzerini, Literotica's new home page mascot. I knew I'd be famous, but I'm still stunned by the attention I'm getting on The Author's Hangout even though you can only see my silhouette. Maybe they'll take me out for a lobster dinner.
My Mom was Laura Litzerini, the original Home page girl and she'd hung out there for around 25 years.
I'd seen Mom dance a lot at home, practicing her moves. I knew what she did for a living, but I was never allowed in any of her shows. Then one day I found Lit and was taken by the dancer image. I recognized the pose and just knew it was Mom. When I asked her about it, she almost didn't want to admit it at first. I could tell she was kind of proud of it though. She told me a lot of things after that.
Not too long ago, I found Mom's old steamer trunk with her burlesque wardrobe and I thought I'd have some fun. Some old records were there too, I guess the ones she danced to after the Big Bands stopped playing in the theaters where she worked. I remember the St. Louis Blues March, so I put it on and listened to it.
Her long black slinky gown felt good, but it wasn't until I got the opera gloves and dance shoes on that I really began to feel the role. Mom and I both had a thing about Bettie Page so I tried to emulate her hairstyle like Mom had often done. When I looked in the mirror, I smiled. This is how Mom stepped on stage so many times over her career. This is how she captivated so many in her audience and then the millions of story readers and authors.
I remember when I was younger, Mom would take off for a few days at a time to attend some kind of writer's convention. She used to tell me about meeting Laurel and Manu and a bunch of other authors. They seemed to have a lot of fun and she was always smiling when she got back home. They stopped doing those though and I was never able to go and meet them.
She never really told me how she persuaded Laurel and Manu to feature her so prominently for so long. After she passed a few year years ago and they kept here there, I began to wonder if they might like to see my impression.
So, here I was all dressed up in Mom's old clothes and listening to her music. It all started taking me over and I felt myself beginning to move like her to the music and feeling really good about it. I decided to set up a camera and record myself. I could see Mom moving in my head and I felt my arms, legs and body moving the same ways. Was she with me, moving me like only she could?
Once I was done and looked at the video I was amazed at how much similarity there was in our forms. Somehow, as if by magic, or maybe Mom's guidance, a few frames evoked her image better than I could have imagined. With a little time in a photo editing program, I clipped and modified a shot of me to the silhouette you now see.
I decided to send a private message not even sure I'd get a reply. It took a few days, but I did and they were excited. They'd already been planning a new page and had been looking for a similar image with little success.
After exchanging a few messages, we worked out an agreement and suddenly, there I was!!! I had replaced my mother and would proudly grace the page in her memory. I know Mom would have been proud too. She kept all that stuff in that old trunk for a reason and she prompted me to find it at just the right time.
She was more bold and uninhibited than I am, so I won't show the full striptease dance I did. It was fun though recalling how she did things. I like being her replacement too.
Next thing I knew the AH pervs were all over me, wanting to know everything about me. But just like Mom, they never will, no matter how odd or bazzling it might be to them.
Oh well, I guess that's enough about me for now. I'll keep reading that thread about me though.
