Hawke and his Princess: Chapter 35

A sword finished

"Are you sure you're ready, Hawke? This will be more challenging for you. Not only will you be doing what you did yesterday, but I need you to picture the blade that you want in your mind and focus on it as I hammer it out. I do not know how long this will take, but you need to be very careful. What you picture will be the blades shape, and weight. You need to stay focused on this Hawke. I ask you again, are you sure you're ready? You can take more time, make sure you're completely recovered from yesterday."

"Othanar, I'm ready. You have to remember that yesterday I used my power before I started working on

the blade. My swords are completely charged, and my mana and energy are fully restored. I couldn't be more ready," Hawke chuckled.

Othanar just shook his head, "Then let's get started." Hawke cleared his mind completely, focusing only on the blade as he delved back into it. He found that it was much easier this time, allowing him to focus his energy more effectively. He concentrated on the blade's form--its contours, dimensions, and heft--while Othanar set to work, hammering it into shape.Hawke and his Princess: Chapter 35 фото

"Enough! Hawke, let's take a break."

Hawke shifted his focus from the blade, realizing with a start that afternoon had already arrived. To his surprise, he realized he had only drained half of his mana and energy. With a couple of potions and some food, he'd be fully restored again. He hadn't even needed to use his blades yet. He glanced over at Othanar with surprise. "Why didn't I use up more power? Not only was I focusing on keeping the power in the blade, but I was also keeping the details of it in my mind as I poured my power into it."

Othanar looked at him curiously and nodded, "I noticed how easy it was for you to get back to where you were yesterday. Maybe it was because you didn't have to struggle so hard today. Whatever the reason, it's time for a break. You may be able to continue on, but I need a break. Go eat, replenish yourself, and come back when you're ready but not too quickly." Hawke heard Othanar mumble something about young whelps and their stamina as he walked away.

Hawke chuckled and turned to face his beautiful bride, eagerly waiting for him. However, his laughter abruptly stopped as he took in her appearance. She was dressed in the female elven warrior's attire, with a top and bottom that were sperated that revealed her bare midriff. The top, which she had explained was a corset, accentuated her full breasts and was tightly tied around her waist with straps crossing in front and tied on both sides. She also wore leather arm bands that reached up to her elbows.

His gaze then traveled downwards to notice the sword strap across her chest and belly. As he continued to look lower, he saw the revealing half skirt that exposed her upper legs and thighs but was covered at the back with a leather piece that extended down to her knees. One of her thighs had a leather strap holding a belt knife. Completing her outfit were high-heeled boots that rose up to her knees.

He was at a loss for words, feeling her presence in his mind as she watched and waited for his reaction to her. His gaze was fixated on her figure as she approached him slowly. "So I'm your warrior goddess?" she laughed playfully, still connected to his thoughts. She placed a hand on the back of his neck, pulling his head down closer to her. "I like that idea, I'll be your warrior goddess," she purred softly against his lips. He growled, his mouth claiming hers, pulling her tight to him. Eventually, he lifted his head, breaking the kiss. He couldn't help but let his eyes wander down her body once again. She took his hand and said, "Come, Hawke, I have food and drinks waiting for us back at our tent."

As they reached the tent, he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. His mouth eagerly met hers, while his hand ventured down her body until they went between her legs, and his fingers penetrated her. "Elayne," he growled demandedly in her mind, causing her body to surrender to him. She quickly undid his pants, and he lifted her up, slamming into her as she wrapped her arms and legs around him. Each powerful thrust with his primal growls intensified their connection and amplifying his dominance in her thoughts. She felt herself lose control as her body responded to the rhythm he set, a scream growing deep inside her. "Let it out, my wildcat," he commanded with a growl. Her eyes snapped open, meeting his hungry gaze as she felt him swell within her tightening muscles before throwing back her head and releasing a loud scream as their bodies reached their release together.

She clung to him tightly, whimpering as he carried her over to the stump and sat down with her still wrapped around him, her body shuddering and clutching around him with each move.

"Bloody hell, Hawke, maybe I should change my wardrobe if that's your reaction," she purred, looking at him. She clung to his neck, threw back her head and arched her body into him, and started grinding herself against him, trying to satisfy their hunger for each other.

"Yep, I'm definitely going to change my wardrobe," she panted later. "They offered to make me some outfits, I think I'm going to take them up on that offer." She heard him chuckle as she laid her head against his chest, hearing his heart beating.

"Elayne, it doesn't matter what you wear. You look absolutely irresistible in everything," he growled at her, putting his mouth on hers. Finally, he lifted his head, "I love you, baby."

"I love you too, Arik."

She reluctantly pulled herself off his lap, "You need to eat, baby, and I got practice to get too." She heard him growling again, and she grinned as she looked in his mind. "Don't worry, baby, I got pants I'm going to put on under the skirt." She grinned mischievously at him, "I just wanted to see your reaction to this. I have got to say you definitely gave me more than I hoped for, my darling," she teased before walking away, her hips swaying provocatively as she went into the tent to change.

She hadn't taken more than a few steps inside when she felt him grab her from behind. With a firm grip, he pulled her close, their lips crashing together as he tilted her head to face him. The intensity between them reignited as he bent her over, feeling the heat of his body against hers, his hunger surging between them as he entered her once more.

Hawke was deep into the blade, pouring his power into it, his mind again on the shape, size, and weight of the blade while Othanar hammered it out.

"Ok, Hawke, look at what you've created, my boy, I think you're going to be quite impressed."

Hawke pulled out of the blade completely, draining the bottles that were handed to him before he looked at the it. He picked it up, marveling at the beauty of it. A thought popped in his head, "Othanar, what more needs to be done with the blade itself?"

"Not much. You've shaped it perfectly. Why, what would you like to do with it?"

"I want to add a few things into it. It won't harm the blade if I add some spells to it?"

"As long as you're careful, but then we don't know anything about the kind of material this blade is made from."

Hawke delved again into the blade studying it. He put the image that had popped into his head on the top of the blade on both sides and tinkered a little with it. He finally opened his eyes, looking at what had emerged. He felt Elayne coming towards him, "I know it's not complete, but can I see it, please?" He turned around with the blade still on the anvil as she went to it.

"It's beautiful, Hawke. I can't believe you created this." She traced the design he had put on it with her finger, a hawk in flight clutching a rose. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "That's another design that popped up out of nowhere like my dresses, isn't it?"

He shook his head, "But it fits, you're my rose, and I'm your hawk. I hope you approve."

"I do, baby, that's going to be our own emblem. I love you, Hawke."

Hawke looked at Othanar, "I want to add a couple of spells to it, but I'll do that tomorrow. I'll be here in the morning to help with the other pieces, including making a scabbard. Thank you Othanar, you don't realize what this really means to me."

Othanar watched as Hawke and Elayne left. He was a remarkable young man. What the lad did in two days surpassed Othanar's wildest expectations. Caleb was right about Hawke. He was an extraordinary and unique individual.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

The next couple of days were busy, putting the blade together and adding the final touches to it. Finally, Hawke handed the finished sword to Elayne. She pulled the blade out of the scabbard that also had the hawk and rose emblem on it. The sword was absolutely exquisite. It was a grayish blue with what looked like purple lightning bolts up and down the blade that seemed to glow. The handle was wrapped in leather, and the pommel had a purple stone embedded in it.

"How does it feel?" Hawke asked her quietly.

She did a couple of sword forms before answering. "It feels perfect. It's so amazingly light, and my hand doesn't slip." She grinned at him, "it feels like it was made for me."

He chuckled, "it's meant to be a one-handed blade, but the leather hilt is long enough you can use both, the other great thing about the blade is that the more you progress in your skills, the blade will adjust to you."

Caleb came up to stand by them, "Hawke, put a shield around the blade and let her go practice with the elves. Now that she's got a proper blade, let's see how she does."

Hawke could feel her excitement as she eagerly held out her sword to him. He chuckled as he put a shield around it. He was interested in seeing if his enchantments worked. He would soon find out as she headed over to where the sparing ring was set up for her. He was even really interested in seeing how she was doing with her sparing sessions anyway, since he hadn't been able to watch her with all his time on her sword.

He felt her clear her head as she got into her battle stance. She was impressive going through her sword forms. The way she would twist between each move and slide into a new position. He also noticed some new moves, and he chuckled. "Caleb, have you been training her? I know I haven't shown her those moves yet."

Caleb grinned at him, "I couldn't resist. She's got true potential, Hawke, just like another young individual I had the privilege of training."

"You enchanted that blade, didn't you," Caleb asked a little later.

Hawke looked at him out the corner of his eye, keeping a straight face, "why would you ask that?"

"Because I've been watching and helping her train, she's usually starting to get tired about now, but she's still going strong."

Hawke winced when she got hit on her side. Not only did he hear it, but he felt it. He knew one of his spells worked, now to see if another worked, but that would have to wait until after her practice. About an hour later, Elayne caught a killing blow in her gut, the sparing practice over with.

She came running over to them excited, "That was amazing, I can't believe I lasted that long. Hawke, what did you do to my sword? I know I shouldn't have lasted that long without feeling exhausted, but I feel refreshed."

"Before I answer that, how does your side feel?" She gave him a puzzled look, feeling along her side. "You got smacked pretty good earlier, I not only heard it but felt it. I take it by your expression that there's no sign of it?"

"No, it doesn't hurt. It's as if it was never there. You enchanted my blade, didn't you?"

"You've got a couple in that blade. One heals you, another regenerates your stamina, and both work as long as your hand is in contact with that sword. I've been thinking of adding an offensive spell, but I haven't decided yet. My main concern was keeping you safe." There was one more spell that was in the stone in her pommel, but that would be activated later, Othanar had helped him with that one.

"Hawke, you up to a sparing match, I want to see if my student still has it?"

Hawke chuckled, "I wouldn't want to hurt you, old man."

"I'll show you old man, you disrespectful pup. The ring now Arik Hawke!" Bellowed Caleb, his face red.

Hawke laughed, grabbed his swords, put a shield around them, and then stepped into the ring while clearing his head.

Elayne was standing there watching teacher and student as they both prepared themselves. Othanar came up beside her, "Now this should be fascinating. Caleb has always talked highly of Hawke and his fighting skills. He calls him his protégé student. According to Caleb, everything that he taught, Hawke picked up on it and had it mastered in no time."

Elayne looked over at the smith, "I've seen Hawke fight, he's taken out the General of my fathers army, who happens to be one of the top Generals in Ferelden," she said with pride in her voice. She looked up to see where the sun was before she turned back to watch the men. "Something tells me this might take some time. It did when he spared with the General."

Hawke's prowess in combat was nothing short of remarkable. If only her father were present to witness his skills. Though he bore a few more welts now than in his previous encounter with the General, it was clear that he was more than capable of holding his ground. Elayne scanned the crowd around them, noting that their skirmish had drawn a sizable audience. The agility and technique on display captivated everyone; it was impossible not to be awed by how masterfully the two fighters engaged. At some point during the duel, Hawke had shed his shirt, and Elayne found her gaze hungrily drawn to his powerful, well-defined chest.

The sequence of thrusts and parries was mesmerizing. Hawke lunged forward, attempting to cut down Caleb, who deftly countered with precise attacks of his own. Each combat stance shifted fluidly; they seemed to dance around one another, alternately advancing and retreating in a strikingly coordinated dance. A sweeping motion from Hawke had a few people gasping, but Caleb quickly regained his composure, retaliating with a series of well-timed movements that exhibited both skill and determination. It was a clash not just of strength but of strategy that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

A little later, with the sun low in the sky, Hawke had his blade at Caleb's throat at the same time of disarming him. She heard cheers from the crowd, and Othanar whistled beside her. "Wow, that truly was impressive, I never thought I'd see the day when Caleb got his ass kicked, and it was done by his own student," Othanar chuckled. "Caleb should be proud of Hawke, I know I am, and I didn't even train him."

Caleb patted Hawke on the back, "Well done, Hawke, I'm impressed. You and I never really sparred before. It was always the teacher teaching his student. You make me proud, son. And I realize I am getting old. You could have taken me out a couple of times there, ended the fight earlier, why didn't you?"

Hawke shrugged, then laughed, "I wanted the challenge. Where's the fun if you end it too early. That and I enjoyed paying you back. You weren't an easy teacher, I believe you enjoyed seeing me all bruised up with welts."

"Yea, but I was hard on you for a reason, Hawke. I saw the potential in you after our first session. I'm glad your father convinced me to train you. It would have been a shame to see that potential wasted."

Caleb noticed the change in Hawke when he mentioned his father. "Caleb, how did you meet my father? He would never tell me," Caleb could hear the pain in his voice.

"You weren't even born yet when you're father and I met. He was doing some kind of work for some people. I can't tell you anymore than that, he never told me what. But we hit it off and were good friends since." Caleb noticed Elayne coming towards them, "cheer up young man, you've got a very beautiful lady coming towards you."

Elayne smiled at Caleb, "Thank you, Caleb, I'll take my handsome husband off your hands." she started to turn away but hesitated, "Caleb, where can one get a good bath around here. He likes torturing himself with the cold water," she snickered.

Caleb laughed, "Just follow the creek on the other side of the trees where you guys have your tent. It opens up wider and deeper."

"Thank you, Caleb." Elayne grabbed Hawke's hand, "let's take Midnight and follow that creek, I know you're dying to submerge yourself into some cold water," she said, grinning up at him. He was unaware of what she said, his mind on his father. "Arik, my love," she said, putting her hand on his chest.

His eyes focused as he looked down at her. She felt him going through her mind, searching for what she had said. He put his arm around her, "That sounds like a good idea, but let's walk, we'll go for a ride later. I know Midnights needing to run, and so am I. But you're right, I need to clean up first. Come, let's grab a change of clothing."

Elayne noticed that the further into the forest they went, the clearer and calmer his mind became. "You like being outdoors in the woods, don't you."

He looked down at her, pulling her closer to him, "I do. It's so peaceful out here. If you're listening carefully, you can hear the different sounds of nature. The birds chirping, the tree branches as they sway against each other, even the crickets."

"I noticed your extra sword practice is paying off, Caleb has even had a hand in your training. Now that I've finished your blade, I can go back to training you myself."

"Can I still continue my training with the elves also?" she asked hopefully.

"I love your eagerness, baby," he chuckled. "Yes, my love, you can continue. When we go back, your father will definitely be impressed. I know I already am. I'm not only impressed, but I'm extremely proud of you, Elayne."

"Thank you, Hawke, that means a lot, hearing you say that."

They finally found a spot where the creek turned into a river, but he wanted to explore further down. He found a good-sized pool of water surrounded by trees. While stripping down, he glanced over at her before getting in, watching her find a place to sit. "Aren't you going to join me?"

"No, thank you, I'll pass, love, I'm not a fan of the cold water."

"Nonsense, Elayne, you're getting in also, I know how you like your privacy, and I also know how uncomfortable you are with the way the elves bathe."

She got up and started to back away from him advancing on her, but she found she couldn't go anywhere when she came upon an invisible wall. "That's cheating Arik Hawke," she glared at him.

He just smirked and stopped when he came within an arms length from her. "Now, are you going to undress yourself, or do I have to help you, and I may not be gentle at it. You're choice darling, but one way or another, you will be getting in that water with me." He stood there completely naked with his arms crossed, staring down at her as she considered her options. Making up her mind, she stood there defiantly, daring him.

He chuckled when he saw her thoughts, "So be it," he growled with a wolfish grin on his face before grabbing her. She cursed her body when she felt an excited heat rush throughout her at the look. Again, she heard him chuckle as he pulled her to him, bringing his mouth down to hers, sending more heat through her body with his mouth, and she melted into him. She felt his hot hands on her bare back, realizing that he had already removed her shirt.

"You don't play fair," she started to pout in his mind, but it turned to a moan of pleasure as his hand brushed across her bare nipple. He removed his mouth from hers, his tongue and mouth sliding down to the nipple his fingers were just at.

"Hawke," she moaned, her back arching into his mouth as he took her nipple between his lips and teeth.

His hands went down to her pants, undoing the buttons before removing them from her. She felt his hand between her legs, his thumb at her clit and she gasped as his fingers filled her. Her hips thrust forward meeting his fingers as they slid in out of her, the heat in her body spreading, her body tightening around his fingers. Her arms clutched tightly around his neck, her hips thrusting faster into his hand before she released on him. He picked her up and slid her down onto him. She started grinding herself up and down the length of him, his mouth capturing hers while he walked with her wrapped around him. He carried her into the water with her clutching at him tightly, her body exploding around him. Again, he brought her to the edge before she felt him thicken inside her, her body tightening around him, both of them climaxing together.

Looking down at her relaxed body wrapped around him, "Elayne, how does the water feel, baby," he whispered in her ear.

She sighed contentedly, "it's not as chilly as I thought." She lifted her head up, looking at him, "that still wasn't fair, though."

"I did warn you baby, one way or another, you were getting into the water with me," he chuckled at her. Using his power, he brought the soap he had left on the bank to him, put a shield around them, heating it up for her. He hurriedly washed both of them up before she started feeling the chill of the water. He carried her out of the water and once again put a shield around her as he heated the space in it so she could dry off and get dressed.

"You feel better, my love," he asked her as they headed back to camp.

She looked up at him, "Very much so, thank you, baby. Hawke," he looked down at her curiously, "I forgive you, my love."

He chuckled as they walked into the camp. He went searching for Caleb as she went to change clothes and to get them some food. He saw him with a group of elves. When Caleb saw him coming towards him, he invited Hawke to sit down with them.

"Where's Elayne," Caleb asked while Hawke sat down.

Hawke told him she was getting some food and would be over in a minute. Caleb nodded absently while looking at him. "You know, we didn't expect you to complete the sword so quickly but since you have we're going to give you two a couple of days to yourselves before we get to the other reason you're here. How does that sound?"

"That sounds great," Elayne said as she came up to them. Hawke noticed the dress she had on as she handed him his food while she sat down beside him, "But is there any way we can make a trip to Lothering? There are a few things I want to get."

"That can be arranged, but how about Denerim instead, I've got to go meet someone there in a couple of days. We can leave here early tomorrow and be there by dark. You can spend a couple of days there before we have to come back?"

Elayne looked at Hawk. He could feel her excitement growing through their bond. She was looking forward to another night of entertainment, and he grinned at her. "It seems my lovely wife desires a night out, so we accept your offer, Caleb. What is it about women and dancing anyway?"

He wasn't really expecting an answer, but Elayne let him know why she enjoyed it. "It's a way of being able to get dressed up and just going out and having fun, forgetting about the stresses of the day. You know the way you feel when you and Midnight go out on your runs or when you practice your sword forms?" Not waiting for him to respond she continued. "Well, having a night out and dancing is how I like to relax and enjoy myself."

He grinned at her, keeping his thoughts to himself of why she enjoyed it. He felt her in his head, examining his thoughts, "That too, my love, most definitely that." She said seductively in his mind.

Hawke whistled for Midnight as he stood up, needing to be away from there, alone with her, "I believe I'm going to let Midnight run some energy off. If you gentlemen don't mind, I'll leave you for the night. We'll be ready early, Caleb. Until then, thank you for the company, and good night."

He helped her up on Midnight before getting up behind her. He pulled her close to him, "You ready, my love?"

He nudged the horse forward when she nodded. Since he had no roads to let Midnight run on, he let him pick his path.

"Dress looks good on you, baby, and I notice it's made for riding on a horse comfortably. You should have some of these made for back home."

"I already have my love. It's not only designed for any situation but its light and easy to maneuver in."

As the sun began its slow descent, the land became awash in a warm, golden glow, wrapping everything in a soothing embrace of peace. The world around them seemed to hush in response to the beauty of the moment. They rode together in comfortable silence, with Elayne nestled against him, her head resting lightly against his chest. The rhythmic sound of the horse's hooves blending with the soft whisper of the evening breeze, the gentle rustle of leaves in the trees, creating a sense of peace. In that instant, it felt as if time itself had paused, allowing them to simply exist together, savoring the warmth of the fading day and the closeness they shared.

As she leaned back against him, watching the sunset, she felt him put his head down on her shoulder, "Beautiful, isn't it," he whispered.

"Very much so. I used to go to the tallest tower in the castle and sit there on the window ledge watching the sunsets. Their even more breathtaking over the water, nothing to block the view."

After the sun set, she turned around on Midnight and laid her head against him, listening to his heartbeat with a hand on his chest. He looked down at her, looking at how peaceful and content she was. If he didn't know any better, he'd think she was asleep, but he could see and feel her mind.

He put a finger under her chin and tilted her head up, looking down into her baby blue eyes. He pulled her closer before lowering his head down to hers, his lips lightly touching hers, "I love you too, baby," he whispered before his mouth took hers.

He felt her hand moving along his chest before she adjusted herself, so she was straddling him, both her hands at his shirt undoing the buttons, exposing his bare chest to her. She sighed contentedly as she roamed her hands up and down him. She sat up looking at him, her eyes on his as she slipped the sleeves of her dress down, exposing her naked breasts to him. She watched as his eyes roamed down to her naked flesh, saw them clouding over with hunger.

"Hawke, I need your hands on me please," she whispered urgently as she pulled both his hands from around her and placed them on her breasts. She moaned when his fingers brushed across her nipples, feeling the heat rushing through her, her body tightening between her legs.

He grabbed her and brought her close to him, his mouth coming down hard on hers. One of his hands left her breast and ran down her to between her legs, rubbing along her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, raising her hips up, clinging tightly to him as he slid his fingers along her. Her mouth left his, and she whimpered as her body tightened around him, releasing her juices around his fingers sliding in and out of her. He lowered his mouth down to her breast, bringing her nipple into his hot mouth.

"Arik," she moaned, her hips sliding up and down his fingers deep inside her, bringing another release from her. Her hands went to his waistband to undo his buttons, but he grabbed her hands and put them around his neck.

He removed his mouth from her nipple, "Wait baby, we're almost back to the tent," he whispered hungrily before his hand went back between her legs. She put her mind in his, seeing why he wanted to wait, and she gasped as he brought her to the edge again.

He jumped down off Midnight with her in his arms and carried her inside the tent. He stripped off her dress and laid her down on the blanket, his hands and mouth feasting on her body until he got between her legs. His mouth came down on her hungrily, his hands under her rear raising them as he thrust his tongue deep into her. She felt a scream forming in her as the intensity of her pleasure rose, and her eyes shot open, staring directly into his, her hips grinding uncontrollably against his mouth and tongue as he devoured her. Her eyes still on his, she cried out his name as her body released in his mouth. He raised his mouth slightly, and she saw him grin, his demanding eyes still on hers as his tongue slid across her clit before he latched onto it while his fingers went inside her coaxing more from her until she lay there panting.

"Hawke," she begged, trying to pull him up to her. He hurriedly removed his pants and slid up her body. She grabbed his shaft with her hands, guiding him into her as she raised her hips up, meeting him as he buried himself deep inside her.
