Tonight, I put down my pen and picked up the mic.

I'm Jazmyne - twenty-seven, African American, an illustrator by trade, a storyteller by instinct... and maybe something else when the lights are low.

Usually I tell other people's stories.

Tonight? You get mine - rich, sweet, and just a little dark. Like chocolate.

This is me... letting you hear what I've been keeping quiet. Playing between shy and commanding. Testing just how far my voice can take you.
