Step Sister Corruption Part 364 - Day 216 Invite to Studio (fiction, M/F/F, d/s, teaching, step siblings, con)

We made our way over to the Temp studio after checking out how far along the new studio was coming along finding it was nearly complete.
If I had to guess maybe another month and we'd be ready to move over.
Granted I will need to modify a lot of the rooms to be ready for shooting right away. So my plan was getting Jesse and maybe her niece, Amber, come over to the new location and go over what will be needed.
I already knew I needed a computer room or server room. I was thinking maybe having a computer room on maybe the third floor right below OUR penthouse along with maybe connecting it to the penthouse so we could see the daily's.
I also knew I needed a makeup room or two with a fitting room. And possibly a closet or two of all the clothes.
And I also knew I needed a few false rooms to act like bedrooms or sets.
I was just guessing on what I needed but needed Jesse's eye more or less to help determine what I needed. And with Amber working with Jesse might be able to help determine more or at least give ideas.
I was completely clueless on what I truly needed but knew I was going to be spending a lot of money doing it.
Luckily the C. O. F. account had a plethora of funds for just this occasion. Initially I had originally planned to designate that 90% of the funds would go to the girls but with exactly how much we were getting compared to how much I was giving the girls was not exactly 90%. If I was being honest I was acting exactly like Vuse was giving the girl's pennies on the dollar for their hard work though my current justification was that I was actually paying them very very well for all their hard work.
I don't know why I was only paying the girl's pennies on the dollar but something about giving them 90% and an error comes up and user's want their money back I could easily give it back. Not that I wanted to do that.
I made a mental note that I desperately needed a lawyer.. or at least a team of lawyers to protect ME from this endeavor.
I looked over at Morgan as I was thinking about my sudden need, "After we're done here, I'd like to make an appointment with a lawyer group AND an business accountant to get C. O. F. with the right business agreements and what not."
Morgan looked at me, "I thought you already took care of that when you told me you had a lawyer."
I sighed, "I did but that was for Kel singularly. This," I waved my hand up at the building, "is for multiple people. I need to make sure we have the right people backing us."
Morgan nodded, "I'll start researching lawyers and accountants to see who we need to talk to."
I nodded, "Call my dad, he'll be able to help with that. Just avoid telling him about the new building."
Morgan nodded as we started our trek up into the studio.
I walked in to see they were currently recording a scene for one of the girls. Looks like it was Bonnie and another of the male talents we had on the books.
I gingerly walked up trying to not make too much noise as the group watched as silently as possible while the main stars were being recorded.
I looked around seeing the usual suspects and smirked as I quickly found Kel and Heidi and made my way over to them.
When I was standing over them I leaned down and whispered, "How's it going?"
Kel reflexively jumped nearly hissing out a slew of curse words but caught herself as she looked over her shoulder at me and whispered, "Don't do that."
Heidi just looked over her shoulder smiling at me, "Hey you."
I smiled and was about to say hey back but my attention was caught when I heard the male star grunting loudly signaling he was cumming for the camera as we all looked upon the scene.
After a few moments I heard Jesse call out, "And.... CUT. That's a wrap."
I looked down at Heidi now that I didn't have to whisper, "How's it going?"
Heidi looked up at me, "Good."
She stood to face me, "I got something for you?"
I rose my eyebrow, "Oh?"
She nodded as she leaned forward, "But you have to say you love me!"
I looked at her confused, "Okkkk......"
She rolled her eyes, "No seriously. Say you love me."
I sighed as I spoke with a smirk, "Fine! I love you." I looked at her confused, "Why do I love you?"
She smiled widely, "I talked to my sponsor and was able to score a room for you."
I smiled widely at her, "That's awesome!!! Which hotel?"
She smiled, "The Harriott connected to the convention center. You're on the seventh floor. I'm on the fifth."
I nodded, "Cool."
Kel looked between us as she spoke semi serious but I could tell she was now playing with us, "Nerds."
I looked down at Kel, "Say that now but wait until you exactly see how many people dress up Kel."
Heidi looked down at Kel, "And I thought you liked it when I cosplayed?"
Kel looked between us as she realized exactly the mine field she was suddenly in almost making me chuckle... almost.
Kel looked at Heidi as spoke sympathetically, "I do, Heidi."
Heidi folded her arms at Kel as she murmured, "Uh huh." Before looking at me, "Anyways. I still have to check in for you but once I check in I'll give you the keys. How many do you need?"
I scratched my head, "I only got tickets for myself, Kel and Summer."
I looked over at Morgan, "Sorry Morgan. I didn't think of you when I got the tickets." I looked up as I thought, "At least it'll give you a week off."
I looked at her, "Unless you don't mind hanging out in the room."
Morgan looked between us confused as Heidi slapped my arm, "Bring her. There's still a ton of stuff you can do without ever having to step foot inside the convention center."
I rolled my head side to side thinking it over determining what Heidi was say was true as I looked at Morgan, "Or you're more than welcome to come and lounge around. Heidi is right there's a ton of stuff to do along the gas lamp district without having to step inside the convention center."
Morgan blushed, "I'll think about it."
Heidi continued getting my attention, "So I'll get five. One for each of you." She smiled, "And one for myself to sneak in."
Heidi winked at me.
Heidi looked down at Kel, "You're gonna pay for that Nerd remark," before walking off.
Kel looked from Heidi to me veining ignorance, "What did I do?"
I smiled, "I think it was the way you said Nerd that might have irked your girlfriend Kel."
Kel exasperatedly spoke, "I meant it lovingly."
I rose my eyebrow at Kel, "Uh huh." I looked towards Heidi as I spoke, "If I were you I'd go apologize before you're sleeping in the dog house." I shrugged, "Or whatever you're all's version of the dog house is."
I heard Kel get up sighing, "Baby wait!" before running off.
I smirked thinking Kel had unknowingly pulled a 180 over recent times. The fact she was with a girl who was a major geek was completely unlike Kel from a year ago as she instantly hated anything geekdom. She always teased me when I started talking geek and frowned upon ALL of my geek friends.
I chuckled inwardly before looking around quickly finding Jesse who also stood taller than everyone else.
I walked up smiling to Jesse who was looking into her camera obviously looking over the footage that she had just shot.
The moment I approached she looked up momentarily, instantly smiling, "Hey there boss!"
I smiled, "How's it going Jesse?"
She looked down at the camera, "Give me a second to make sure what we shot was good. Hold on."
I nodded as I momentarily looked at the camera before shifting my attention to Jesse's niece, Amber, who seemed more open now compared to when she first started working for C. O. F..
The first day, that I remembered seeing Amber she dressed mostly conservatively not flaunting her body but now looked comfortable enough to wear more comfortable clothes. She still wasn't flaunting her body but now she was at least comfortable.
I smiled, "How's it going Amber?"
Amber smiled at me, "Oh you know," she looked around at the girls, "still getting used to all this."
I laughed, "Yeah it's a lot to take in."
Amber nodded as I noticed she no longer hid behind Jesse nor blushed so hard she mumbled when she spoke. Amber spoke, "So what brings you around?"
I smiled, "Well I just got back from the new building and thought it would be a good time to start having you and your Aunt here start looking it over to see what room will be used for what."
Jesse instantly stopped and looked up at me, "So it's done?"
I shook my head, "No. There's still things here and there that are still being upgraded but it's close enough there where we can start going in and start labelling what rooms we want to label as and start getting furniture and what not ordered."
Jesse looked at me for a moment before looking down at the camera, "Meaning we can start hiring more help I take it?"
I smiled, "Sure. I never stopped you from hiring people to do your job Jesse."
Jesse looked up and looked around, "Eh it's already cramped as it is," she looked at me, "and I've been able to handle most of everything so far," she looked at Amber, "with my lovely niece's help."
She returned her attention to me, "But with the new building I will definitely need help."
I smiled, "And I've already agreed to that." I scratched my head, "Though I have no idea how to hire people."
Jesse smirked, "I already have a few candidates ready to take up the slack on filming along with a few other people that could handle doing makeup. But it won't be cheap. They ALL will expect to be paid.... and well, might I add."
I rolled my eyes, still smiling, "I figured that Jesse."
She looked at me flatly, "Meaning I will also need a raise.... Boss."
I sighed but still smiled as I spoke, "I had already thought about bumping up your pay seeing how we're going from this," I waved my hands and arms around the loft, "to something much much bigger."
Jesse rose her eyebrow at me, "Ok.... I'm listening."
I looked around and looked at Amber, "Do you mind if I spoke to Jesse alone?"
Jesse looked at the room as most weren't really paying attention to us before she spoke, "Amber can stay. Just don't speak so loudly and you'll be fine."
I sighed as I looked around the room confirming that most of the girls and guys weren't really paying too much attention to us. I smiled as I saw Kel trying to plead with Heidi about her faux pas though I could see Heidi was just giving Kel a hard time.
I looked down at Morgan, "Make sure no one tries to listen in."
I wrapped my arms around Jesse and Amber as I forced them to walk off to a corner as I whispered in a hush tone, "I was thinking of making your $100,000 a month permanent as long as you remain our main director, editor, and all around base of our webside."
I looked over at Amber, "You'll still get your $50,000 a month Amber."
I shifted my head over to Jesse, "How does that sound?"
Jesse blinked rapidly as I could tell she was shocked before smiling widely.
I walked us over to the corner where no one was at before I let go of both girls and leaned myself against the corner, "I know it's more than you were thinking Jesse but I couldn't have done any of it without you." I shrugged, "I know your husband wants you around more but we could really use your help."
I could already see Jesse imagining all those bills raining down on her.
I continued, "I'm only considering this because you two started us off from the ground floor so I see no reason to keep paying you that way but this is only for your benefit. Anyone else you bring in will have to be on a more reasonable salary. You understand?"
Jesse instantly nodded as she spoke, "That's fair."
I looked over at Amber, "Sounds good to you too?"
Amber's head nodded so fast I was sure she would break her neck moving it that fast though her mouth was still gaping open still in shock.
I folded my arms smiling, "Good. I'm glad we agree. Can't really be paying everyone exorbitant payments when the majority of the money should go to the talent that built this site."
I looked at Jesse, "So who did you have in mind to bring in?"
Jesse quickly spoke, "Well I have a few contacts that might be willing to jump ship for a decent pay but most of the people I know have little to no experience."
I nodded, "So we can start them out at a much lower salary?"
Jesse nodded, "Yeah we'll have to look at what the going rate is to have salary camera operators along with any and all positions we need."
I nodded, "I'll trust your judgement. Just let my secretary know and if I need to be involved with any of the interviews."
Jesse smiled, "You'll probably need to be involved with the interviews until we can get a process down that you can trust."
I nodded, "Fair enough."
I spoke, "Any other thing you need to tell me?"
Jesse looked at Amber before looking at me, "Well Amber has a friend that is looking for work and I think we can bring her in to be an intern or production assistant."
I blinked, "Production assistant?"
Jesse nodded, "Yeah. Mainly she'll be a go-fer. Go get this. Go get that."
I ran the idea through my head before I looked at Amber, "Is your friend reliable?"
Amber nodded, "Yes she is."
I spoke, "And can she handle all," I waved my hand around, "this?"
Amber looked back at the girls and everything around us before addressing me and nodded, "I think she can."
I rose my eyebrow, "You sure?"
Amber blushed a little bit as she spoke, "Her living arrangements is rather unique so all," she waved her hands like I have, "this might seem normal to her."
Good enough for me. Though I questioned that meaning as I nodded, "Then let her know. She can start on a trial basis."
Amber spoke, "Ok and how much should I tell her she'll be making?"
I sighed, "I don't know. Minimum wage I guess."
Amber frowned, "So you're gonna pay my friend $9.85 an hour?"
I looked at her and smirked, "Unless you want to cover the difference? Remember I just said you all were getting a sweet deal because you and your Aunt worked this from the ground up. Now that we're a little more established I'm gonna have to start paying people from here on out a real salary."
Amber sighed, "You did."
I put my hand on Amber, "Tell you what because we haven't moved from here to the new building. I'll start her at $15 an hour. She proves herself during the move I'll bump it higher. But I'd like to meet your friend."
That made Amber smile as she nodded, "Got it."
I looked at the two, "Anything else before we go over to the new building?"
Jesse shook her head as well as did Amber.
I nodded, "Alright."
I looked at my two workers..... smiled, "So when do you want to check out the new building?"
