I Met my Boyfriend's Mom… Pt. 01

hi everyone! this is my first story, and it's more of an intro to set the scene, but i hope you enjoy!!

I've been dating my boyfriend for a little over three months now, and we finally said "I love you" last week after a dinner date. My boyfriend, we'll call him "Julian" for the sake of privacy, took me to a nice Thai restaurant, a cocktail bar for a little nightcap, and then walked me home. As we were walking over a bridge that runs through our city, he turned to me. "You look so beautiful in the moonlight tonight," he said. "I love you, Ripley." I smiled big and told him, "Oh Julian, I love you too." He walked me home and let's just say that we had a fun time celebrating this milestone in our relationship.

The next day, Julian texted me.

J: hey babe, hope you're having a good day. i was hoping you'd wanna come over and meet my mom one night this week.

Me: aw, yeah, that sounds so nice! let me know which night works best, and how fancy i should dress ;)

J: great, why don't you come over tomorrow? dress casual, baby!

Me: ok, see u then
