Its been nine months since the wedding. Pooja and Payal were in my office. I had called an important meeting, as we were getting close to doing IPO for Ps.. it had expanded to 4 locations now and they were quite successful, with an even more successful coffee shops within them. The IPO was to invest in more vertical farms, retail locations and allow all the women working there to share in it's success.

"Now that you mention it.. we will need a new office as I can't come to this Ps location, once IPO is done."

"What a coincidence sir.. the floor above ours in this building has just opened up.. I can secure it for you."

"That will be wonderful.. though the decision will be Payal's.. I will let her know." We disconnected.

Just then, Payal walked in.. "Sir, we will need a new office.." she paused seeing Pooja was in my lap with my hand on her back "Sorry.. I will come later sir."

"Wait.. I just talked to Ramchand Brothers.. they were good with my proposal.. actually give them a call.. apparently the floor upstairs to their offices is coming open."

"Very good.. Liquidate a quarter of our portfolio to invest in ventures related to P's.. more like the innovation fund and to encourage women entrepreneurs.. keep the the rest of the portfolio as is to be managed as my family office.."

"Excellent idea, Sir.. I have my team ready and will get them started on it right away."

"We never talked about your team's compensation plan.. what did you have in mind?"

"Sir, I am just happy to be working for you and am giving competitive salaries to the two financial experts I recruited.. I was just going to.."

"Payal.. you should know better by now.. okay, 40% of all profits you and your team makes will be yours.. with you getting 20% and them getting 10% each."

"Okay. So how's the IPO coming along?"

"We just need one thing clarified before we file, Sir. Since you will be the largest shareholder, we need to disclose it." Payal said.

"Keep me anonymous as much as you can. File it under the home office you will be running for all my assets."

"What should we name it sir? We will try to keep it as anonymous as we can, but you will have to be the signatory for the home office, sir," Meena said.

"Hmm.. call it PSM holdings using your names as you will be running it.. just as we named Ps."

They all looked surprised and confused..

"Yes.. actually file it under PSMC holdings.. including Chitra. Now, tell me about the board after IPO.."

"Sir, as you suggested, we found 5 very distinctive women for different walks of life to join Payal and Pooja maam on the board, sir." Sita said.

"One manages a bank, one a premium art museum, one owns media outlets, one is an award winning actress and the last one is a CEO for a tech company," Meena chimed in, showing me their profiles.

"Wow.. how did you manage to secure them?"

"The story of Ps being a women's enterprise sold them, sir.. your vision sold itself sir.." Payal said it with pride in her voice.

"Very good.. now about my portfolio.." I described to them as to my vision on how it should be managed etc..

I concluded by saying, " I will mostly be hands off.. you can run it anyway you want within that vision."

They can relax on Saturday and head back on Sunday. Make sure all their accommodations and transportation needs are taken care of. It has to be an elegant, yet intimate affair.. great food, music and activities.."

"Sita, Meena.. make sure this is fully funded from PSMC holdings.. it doesn't matter what it costs. I want you two to host the celebration.. introduce the board, Ps.. Payal, Priya, Pooja and Shilpa as their CEO.. do keep my name fully out of it.. its truly a celebration of what everyone at Ps has accomplished."

"Great idea, sir. We'll make it happen." Chitra said.

"Once your plans are firm, pass it by Payal and Pooja before you execute.."

"We really are indebted to PSMC holdings for giving us all a chance and encouraging us in the early days.. but, truly it is all of you who have made it a reality.. by the way, since the IPO and the new ad campaign, we are already seeing record orders.. now it's time to truly celebrate.. let's bring on the original Ps.. Payal, Priya and Pooja maam!!" No sooner that Shilpa said that, the whole room erupted.. the joy and energy were truly contagious!! music, food and dances followed with most employees participating.. it was a fun affair..

"Sir.. the board members have left and I made sure only the core Ps employees are here.. please come and dance with us." Chitra said.

As I stood and stretched, I said "First.. Chitra.. you pulled this event off at such a short notice.. it was an outstanding fun event!!!"
