Doctor Who: Odyssey

This 'Episode' is based on Season 17 and Season 18 of Doctor Who, which ran from 1979 and 1980; with the 4th Doctor played by Tom Baker and the Romana of Lalla Ward.

The Doctor, Romana, and K-9 are traveling through time and space on the TARDIS. Doctor Who is feeling his true age which is 756 years old. Romana is younger than him at only 300 years old. The Doctor asks Romana to marry him. Romana accepts. First, they travel to their home planet of Gallifrey to ask Romana's father, Mavunier, and mother Leyana, for their blessing. Romana's father is a professor of universe history at GU, Gallifrey University. The Doctor's divorced mother, Karin, who is 2 thousand years old, is happy and proud to know that her son finally found a mate after years of being single. But Romana's father Mavunier disapproves of the marriage. Even so, the Doctor and Romana go forward with their marriage plan. They decide to marry on the planet Elbee, a planet of mostly oceans and seas and scattered islands. The capital is Venetia which is similar to Earth's Venice with canals and houses built around lakes and oceans with very little pieces of land. They invite their families but do not care if they show up or not. They also invite all or any Time Lord across the universe. They board the TARDIS and arrive on Elbee where they stay in Venetia in the Hotel Millennia. The guests are scheduled to arrive in three days. But the day before the wedding, a mysterious masked man in a cape kidnaps Romana. The masked stranger wants her for himself and does not want the Doctor to marry her. He has her chained up in a dungeon in a castle. When the Doctor discovers that Romana is missing, he uses K-9's abilities via a device to track her down and find her. The Doctor goes on a journey to find her via a sailboat. Along the way, the Doctor fights a sea serpent and finds he's in a similar sea to the Mediterranean back on Earth, called Mediterranea 2. The Doctor also notices he finds himself in a voyage that resembles Odysseus in the Odyssey. On a deserted island, he encounters a witch named Seerza gives the Doctor a warm welcome but drugs his food and drink and holds in her thrall. She has sex with him. When Romana feels that the Doctor is taking too long, she escapes from her own dungeon prison and fights the masked Time Lord herself, killing him. She then gets on a boat and goes on a journey to find the Doctor. Along the way, she lands on a mysterious island, created by Seerza, in which she is tempted to embrace her dark side and lust for power. She fights hard against the witch's power but Seerza has created an evil 'double' of Romana who then goes to the Doctor and tells him she no longer wants to marry him and that she would rather rule the universe by herself. Romana finally finds a portal to enter that leads her to the island of Seerza. She fights Seerza and her evil double and defeats the witch's power. Not wanting to waste any more time, the Doctor and Romana travel back to the capital city and get married in front of the Time Lords and both Romana and the Doctor's family who now approve of the marriage. The Doctor & Romana make love back in the hotel and promise to make each other happy through the ages to come as eternal Time Lords no matter how many times they regenerate.
