For any new readers joining in; I would highly highly recommend starting from chapter 1 of the series as there is a LOT of previous context that got us to here!

For returning readers; fun fact, the Dave hypothetical in this chapter was one of the first parts of this story that I wrote! This chapter as a whole is probably one of my favourites, we've got some Simon backstory, we've got Simon's secret coffee recipe, we've got a little pinch of spice at the end there, and we've got some heavy romantic tension throughout.
