The Trio 03 - Going to Death Guild

Monday morning had me up early and getting ready for work. I had left Deeann and Valerie in the bed, still asleep, and went to the bathroom to take a shower. As I washed my hair, I thought about this new situation with Valerie. It was working out really, really well. And I wondered when we would hit our first hiccup.

When Deeann and I got together over a year ago, things went remarkably well for us. We really never had any major disagreements concerning how we wanted to live our lives together. And we never really had any big arguments. Maybe a minor thing once in a while. And now, this same pattern seemed to be emerging with Valerie. It seemed too good to be possible that there wouldn't be any real problems.

I got out of the shower and toweled off. The mirror was still a bit foggy, so I decided to go get my clothes before trying to shave. I went into the room with my clothes and started to get things together. Then I noticed some movement out of the corner of my eye. Valerie was standing in the doorway with a thin robe on. She was smiling at me.

"Good morning, miss," I said as I got my clothes out. "What has you up so early today?"

"Well, I woke up after you got out of bed, sir," she said. "And when I heard you had gotten out of the shower, I thought I'd come and say hello."The Trio 03 - Going to Death Guild фото

I got the rest of my clothes and started to get dressed.

"Would you be a kind soul and do me a favor, since you're up and out of bed?" I asked her.

"Of course, sir," she said with a smile. "What do you need?"

"Would you start the kettle for me?" I said. "I need some tea this morning."

"You bet!" she said excitedly and scampered off to the kitchen.

I finished dressing and went back into the bathroom to shave. But when I looked at my face, I decided that today was a 'stubble' kind of day. I walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge to decide what to eat for breakfast. I didn't want the usual bagel and cream cheese. But I really didn't feel like cooking. I grabbed the milk and set it on the counter. Then I got down a bowl and pulled down the box of Shredded Wheat. Valerie was watching me the whole time.

"Are you going to eat something, miss?" I asked her as I poured my cereal.

"No sir," she replied. "I'm probably going to go lay down again after you head out to work."

She paused and then looked down for a moment.

"Unless you need me to do anything for you, sir," she added as she looked back up.

"You are just the helpful person today, aren't you?" I said as I started to eat my cereal. "Is there something I don't know about?"

"No, sir," she said. "I just... well. I'm just very happy to have met you and Deeann. And I want so much for this to work out. I know we've only been doing this for about a week now. But if I'm being honest, it just feels so natural and easy. It feels like the time before this relationship was a long time ago. Does that make sense?"

"Of course," I said. "And really, I feel kind of the same. I've been thinking about how well things have gone in this short time. And if we're being honest, I'm afraid that something is going to come up that trips us up. Not that we can't overcome it. But I'm just not looking forward to the first 'conflict' we have, you know?"

She moved towards me and put her arms around my waist. I held her in my arms and enjoyed the closeness.

"Sir?" she asked, not pulling away from me. "What, um... what are the, uh, rules concerning. Well, concerning all of us?"

"I'm not sure what you mean?" I said.

"Like, so, the three of us are together, right?"

"Right," I agreed.

"But, like, if you're at work and Deeann and I are together, what are we, you know, 'allowed' to do together?" she asked, still holding herself close to me.

I thought about this for a moment. It seemed like there was something that Valerie wanted to say but either was afraid to say it or wasn't sure how to phrase it.

"Do you mean sexually?" I asked, taking a guess at what she was getting at.

"Well, yes sir," she said sheepishly. "Like, are we allowed to kiss or just hold hands or can we go 'all the way' or whatever? I mean, whatever the rules are is fine, I just wanted to know."

I thought about this. It had literally never crossed my mind.

"That's a great question," I said. "And one that I don't think Deeann and I ever considered when we first thought about this. I mean, it isn't really 'cheating' if it doesn't go outside of the three of us. But, it could cause some jealousy or hurt feelings if one of us feels 'left out' of something. I think we should discuss this. Maybe tonight."

Valerie snuggled closer to me.

"That's a great idea, sir," she said. "And thank you for being so awesome."

"How am I awesome?" I asked.

"You just are," she said. "You listen to me. You care about my thoughts and feelings. You consider things openly. And when you make a decision, it is thought out. You don't really do anything on a whim. At least nothing in regards to our relationship. I've never been with anyone half as considerate as you. And Deeann, too. She's the same way. You both just make me feel like I truly am a part of this."

"That's because you are," I said.

I held her a bit longer and then pulled away.

"I need to get my tea if I'm going to get to the office on time," I said.

I poured my tea into a travel mug and then finished the last of my cereal. I rinsed the bowl and placed it in the sink.

"Would you let Deeann know what we were talking about when she gets up?" I asked. "That way she can be ready to have a chat tonight once I get home. And Valerie?"

"Yes, sir?"

"I'm very happy that you're here with us," I said. "You are a wonderful addition to my life."

She giggled a bit and blushed.

"Sir?" she said as I started to turn to get my boots and jacket.

"Yes?" I said, turning back to her.

"You are very sexy," she said and blushed more. "I just wanted to make sure you know that I feel that way."

"So are you, miss," I said coyly. "Now stop distracting me so I can get to the office."

I slipped on my boots and pulled on my jacket. With tea in hand, I threw my satchel over my shoulder and headed out the front door.

—

Around 3 PM, I got a text from Deeann.

'Hello, my love. It's Monday.'

'Yes, it is,' I replied.

'And you know what that means...'

I didn't reply. I just knew she was going to suggest that we go to Death Guild tonight. I loved going to the goth club, but the Monday night thing was sometimes tough to manage.

'It means one thing and you know what that one thing is!' her next text said.

'I do?' I typed, pretending that I didn't know.

'Of course you do!'

Again, I didn't reply.

'DEATH GUILD!!!' was her text, in all caps, bold type, with three black heart emojis after it.

'Ah yes, Monday night goth club,' I replied.

'You don't seem excited.'

'I am,' I replied, not certain that I was.

It wasn't that I didn't enjoy it, I just didn't know if I was ready to go out tonight. Today I was starting back at work after the holiday break, and I was already feeling a bit overwhelmed with the thought of everything that needed to be done. If I went out tonight, I'd be tired because I got up so early. Plus, I'd be tired tomorrow at work for staying out so late.

Her next text came in.

'David, I know you. I can tell by your texts that you aren't super excited about the idea of going out on a Monday night. You're probably worried about how tired you'll be both tonight and at work tomorrow.'

She knew me so well. Possibly too well.

'If I'm being honest, yes. I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed here at work.'

'Well, that's super reasonable and I understand. Can we discuss it when you get off of work? Both Valerie and I would really like to go out.'

'Did Valerie mention another discussion we need to have this evening?'

I wasn't trying to change the subject, but I was maybe hoping that an evening at home with discussions over dinner might be the plan.

'She did. And maybe we can get takeout and discuss it?'

She didn't wait for my response. Her next text came in right after the last.

'And then, if we all are feeling it, we can go to Death Guild?'

I sighed and looked out the window of my office.

'Okay.' was my one-word reply.

But then, I followed up with a clarification.

'But I'm not saying Death Guild is for sure. I'm just saying it isn't off the table.'

I got a string of emoji hearts from Deeann.

'I'll see you ladies tonight.'

I put down my phone, but then realized there was another matter to handle. I sent another text to Deeann.

'You two need to get dinner arranged. Tell Valerie to choose what kind of food we get.'

—

The bus ride home after work seemed to take forever. But that was probably just because it was Monday. I got off at my usual stop and started walking the last couple of blocks. I walked into the house and was greeted by Deeann and Valerie, both wearing sombreros, with mariachi music playing on the stereo. I couldn't help but start laughing.

"What is all of this?" I asked as I took off my jacket and set down my satchel.

Deeann came up and kissed me on the cheek and Valerie handed me a can of Tecate.

"You wanted us to arrange dinner," Deeann said. "So we did. We're having American tacos."

I looked over at the counter and saw the bowls of cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and a few different bottles of hot sauce. There was a pan of ground meat on the stove and a pot which I assumed had rice or beans in it.

"I see," I said, trying not to laugh. "I thought I said that Valerie had to choose what kind of food to get?"

"I did," Valerie said, drinking a beer of her own. "Just because I'm half Mexican doesn't mean I have to have authentic Mexican cuisine all the time."

I smile at her.

"Well, you're not wrong," I said. "I'm just saying that this seems like Deeann had a hand in this as well."

Deeann pretended to look offended.

"Who, me?" she asked innocently. "I just cooked the ground beef and heated up the beans. Valerie planned it all. She even picked out the produce at the market on her way home from work."

I looked back and forth between the two ladies as they smiled innocently at me.

"Well, in any case, it smells great," I said, taking another drink of my beer. "Let's eat!"

We all made our plates and sat down at the table. The food was delicious and the table was fairly quiet at first while we all started eating. After I finished a couple of tacos and some beans, I got up to get one more taco.

"So, ladies," I started while putting some food on my plate. "I think we have a topic to bring to the table this evening. One that Valerie brought to my attention this morning. So, Valerie, why don't you present the question to us all here."

I came back to the table and sat down.

"Well," Valerie said, seeming a little uncomfortable at the moment. "I was just wondering, you know. The three of us are in a relationship. We're together. And as we discussed, we are exclusive with each other when it comes to intimacy. And I like that. I think it is wonderful. But... I was curious what you both thought about... well, about, you know... what if one of us is not there, right? Can the other two 'do' anything? You know, together? Like, kissing or touching, or well, you know... what are the rules?"

Valerie was blushing a bit as she said this, which I thought was adorable. I looked over at Deeann, who seemed to be pondering the question.

"Deeann, do you have any thoughts?" I asked between bites of my taco.

"Well..." Deeann said. "I never really thought about it. I guess I just always figured we'd be together and so that's just how it would be. But that's a good point. I mean, it isn't cheating, right?"

"No, not at all," I said, looking down at my empty plate. I thought about getting another taco, but realized that I didn't need that. "But, there are some other things to consider."

Deeann and Valerie both looked at me, waiting for what I had to say. But I wanted this conversation to have more input from them. I felt this needed a lot of consideration on their part before we made our decision.

"Valerie," I said after a moment. "How would you feel if you came home from work and Deeann and I were having sex on the couch?"

"Probably very turned on, sir," Valerie said. "I'd want to join in."

"Fair point," I agreed. "So, what if you came home from work and Deeann and I had just finished having sex on the couch?"

"I'd feel like I missed out, sir," Valerie replied.

"Yes," I continued. "And what if Deeann and I had sex every day while you were at work and then we didn't feel like doing it again with you once you got home?"

"Well," Valerie said slowly. "I think I'd start to feel jealous. Or at least left out."

I could see Valerie's demeanor change as she thought about that circumstance.

"We don't want to leave you out, Val!" Deeann said, sensing Valerie's change in mood.

"Of course we don't," I said quickly, picking up on that thought. "And what if it were the other way around, Dee? What if each night you came home and Valerie and I had a sex romp every day that week?"

"I mean, if you still had energy to do it again with me, I suppose I'd be okay with it," Deeann said, but her voice had the tone of someone really thinking about it. "But I would probably feel like maybe you two didn't find me attractive as much. So, I don't think I'd like it a lot."

"Well, I would feel the same if it was the two of you having all the sex," I said. "I would feel left out. But..."

They both looked at me expectantly.

"What if you two were home together and I was at work," I said, describing a hypothetical situation. "And I was stuck there working late. And you both get an idea that you want to fool around together. If you asked me first and I said that I was worn out from work, or was tired, or whatever. Do you think it would be okay for you two to fool around?"

They looked at each other and grinned. Clearly they had thought about that possibility today.

"Well, sir," Deeann said quietly. "If you really were too tired. And you really said it was okay for the two of us to do it. I guess it would be okay. Once in a while, of course."

"Oh yes, only once in a while," Valerie added quickly. "Not like every day or anything like that. Just once in a while when you aren't available or something like that."

"But," Deeann added in. "I think that we would want to make sure you came home and felt better after a long day at work."

I smiled, they were coming to a conclusion that I liked.

"And what if Valerie and I were at home watching Star Trek," I said, looking at Deeann. "And we decided we were in the mood, but we knew that you wouldn't be home until very late? Or maybe you had gone to visit your parents for the weekend. Or something like that. If we asked you if it was okay and you said it was, would you be okay with Valerie and I fucking without you?"

I deliberately used the word 'fucking' because I wanted to drive home a point. I wanted it to be raw and physical. Sex wasn't just about love. It was about pleasure. And I wanted to make sure that Deeann felt that seriousness.

"Well, when you put it like that," Deeann said, pondering the idea. "I do think it would be okay. I mean, what you're saying is that it would need consent. Which really is what it's all about."

I smiled and looked over at Valerie.

"What about you, miss?" I asked her. "Would you be okay if Deeann and I had sex without you, as long as we asked you first?"

"Well, sir," Valerie said, looking a bit nervous. "I don't know if I feel right with you asking me for permission to do something. That's not really how our power dynamic works."

"I'm not talking about that, miss," I said. "I'm talking about activities that carry emotional charge. And for those things, it always requires consent. So, I'm asking you that if you were for some reason not available to be part of sex with me and Deeann, would you be okay with us doing it without you, as long as we asked you first?"

Valerie thought for a bit. And as she thought, she started to blush. She looked over at the two of us and smiled.

"Well..." Valerie said slowly. "I'll be honest, sir. Thinking of you two having sex is getting me all hot and bothered. And so I think that yeah, it should be okay. Because if you're asking me first, it means you're being honest. And as you said, that's the most important thing. You're not hiding anything from me. You're including me in a way. And really, that's what I've always wanted. I wanted to be included in something special."

I let that hang in the air for a moment.

"Okay then, I think we have a solution," I said, sitting upright in my chair. "Any sexual activity that doesn't include one of us needs to have the consent of the person who isn't there. That will be the rule until and unless we discuss and decide otherwise. Sound good?"

Deeann and Valerie nodded.

"Great!" I said and stood up, taking my plate to the sink. "Who needs another beer?"

"I do!" Valerie said immediately. "And Deeann does as well. We have to have a toast to this amazing relationship and the awesome people that we are together!"

I grabbed three more beers from the fridge and opened them for the ladies.

"Here's to this amazing relationship and the awesome people that we are together!" I said, holding up my beer can.

Deeann laughed and Valerie stuck her tongue out at me. But they both held their beer cans up to mine.

I took a long swig and set the can down.

"Okay, with that out of the way, on to the next item," I said. "This is not open for discussion or debate. I am making an executive decision that we are going to Death Guild tonight. So everyone needs to GOTH THE FUCK UP!!!"

The ladies both actually cheered at this and immediately got up and hugged me. Then, they took off down the hallway to start picking out clothes for going out tonight. I went into the front room and put on a CD that I had made of the "Greatest Goth Hits" back when I lived in North Dakota. I turned it up, finished my beer, and went to get another one while I put away the food in the kitchen. It was going to be that kind of night.

—

We got out of the cab in front of DNA Lounge at 10:30. Things were just picking up and there was a bit of a line. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait very long to get in. Once inside, I took a quick look around. The place wasn't very crowded yet, but it definitely was getting there.

I led the three of us up the stairs and around to the coat check area. I removed my long duster and handed it to Valerie.

"Deeann," I said as Valerie took my coat from me. "Give your jacket to our young lady here and follow me to the bar. Valerie, once you get the coats checked, meet us there."

I walked away without another word. Deeann quickly removed her leather jacket and handed it to Valerie. She then rushed up to walk right behind me. When we got to the upstairs bar, I pointed at a table.

"Sit there, hands on your lap, facing me at all times. Don't get up. Don't remove your hands from your lap until I return."

I saw a coy smile cross Deeann's face as I gave her the firm instructions. It was an expression she often got when I got more 'bossy' than usual. I went over to the bar and waited for the bartender to finish serving the other two people at the bar.

The bartender working tonight was someone I knew from the local scene. She usually worked here at DNA, but I had seen her at other clubs from time to time. Her name was Melissa. She was a lovely young lady with short, black hair and pearl white skin. She typically wore a button down shirt with a tight pencil skirt, black leggins, and heels. It was very secretary-ish and it was hot. She definitely was 'eye-candy'. As she turned to look my way, she recognized me and smiled.

"David!" she said as she walked up. "It's great to see you. How was your holiday season?"

"It was a whirlwind of activity and excitement and definitely over too soon," I said, trying to sound casual.

"Where is your lady?" she asked as she looked up and down at me. "You're not here solo tonight, are you?"

"I am definitely not solo tonight," I said with a grin. I could appreciate the attention she was giving me.

"So, what can I make for you," Melissa asked. "Two of your favorite martinis?"

"Three, please," I said, and left it at that.

Melissa paused and then looked around the bar. She spotted Deeann sitting a few tables away. And right then, Valerie walked up to me and handed me the coat check tag.

"Here you are, sir," Valerie said as she stood by me. "All checked in."

"Thank you, miss," I said to Valerie and put the coat check tag into my shirt pocket. "I was just getting us all some martinis. I need you to carry yours and Deeann's back to the table when they are ready."

Valerie just nodded and then turned and smiled at Melissa.

Melissa smiled at Valerie and then gave me an inquiring look. But she didn't say anything. She just went about the task of making us our martinis. When they were ready, she set them up on the bar for us. I dropped my card on the counter.

"Keep this open, please, Melissa," I said to her. "Valerie here and Deeann, of course, are both on my tab tonight for whatever they need."

I picked up my martini and then turned to Valerie.

"Take those two drinks back to the table," I said. "Tell your madam that I said she is free to move her hands now, but she still must remain seated. You will sit in the other chair across from her. Don't get up until I tell you."

Valerie smiled at Melissa and then nodded at me as she took the martinis off of the bar. I watched her go back to the table and relay the information to Deeann while setting down their drinks. I then turned back to Melissa and sipped my martini.

"What was that show all about?" Melissa asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked, shrugging non-chalantly.

"The whole sir and madam and miss stuff," she said. "And is that cute young number some new play thing for you and your lady?"

I smiled as I set down my glass.

"Not at all," I said, turning to admire the ladies at the table. "Valerie is with us now. She's not a play thing. Although, play time has been a lot of fun since she has come along."

I was deliberately trying to make Melissa envious. Even in a big city like San Francisco, rumors get around. And the rumor that Melissa was interested in me reached Deeann about 6 months ago. Deeann found it charming that another woman had a crush on me. And it was an ego boost for me to know that a beautiful woman like Melissa found me attractive.

"David, you dog," Melissa said. "You broke a lot of hearts when you got together with Deeann. Not just for the ladies who were after you, but also for the guys who wanted to get with her. And now you're telling me that the two of you have started up a threesome with this lovely, young goth girl? Where did you find her?"

"It was fate that brought us together," I said, trying to sound dramatic. "What can I say? I just have all the luck."

"You most certainly do," Melissa said. "So, can I get you anything else before I tend to these other people? This bar doesn't run itself, you know."

"Three shots of the Redbreast whiskey, please," I said. "And put the drinks for those next two people on my tab. I owe them for holding you up in conversation."

"Show off," Melissa said with a chuckle as she went to get the bottle of Redbreast.

She poured the three shots and I finished my martini. I thanked her and grabbed the glasses. When I got back to the table, I set the shots on the table and then sat down in the third chair.

"Well done, ladies," I said. "I'm removing your restrictions now. Let's have this shot, yeah?"

Deeann and Valerie both relaxed a bit and smiled at me. We all grabbed our shot glasses and clinked them together. The Redbreast was always a good whiskey and we all tapped our shot glasses on the table before we set them back down.

"Melissa says hello," I said to Deeann. "And she also expressed her envy at us for being such a cute triad together."

"Did she really say that?" Deeann asked.

"Well, mostly," I said. "It was more of her unspoken words that implied it."

"So you know her, sir?" Valerie asked me.

"Yeah, she bartends here and occasionally at a few other places," I said. "We see her from time to time around the local scene."

"And she has the hots for our man," Deeann said with a grin.

"Well, I mean, who doesn't?" Valerie said with a coy smile.

"Ladies, I don't feel like mingling in the large crowd that will be downstairs," I said. "I plan to remain upstairs tonight. And I expect you both to remain up here with me."

"Yes, sir," Valerie said immediately.

"Of course, sir," Deeann added with a smile. "Will there be dancing?"

I turned to look at Deeann who turned her eyes down as soon as I looked at her.

"Yes," I said plainly. "In fact, you and Valerie should go and dance for me. I'm going to sit here and watch you dance together. I expect a good show."

The two of them got up and went over to the dance floor. They somehow managed to look demure and submissive to me while at the same time being overly excited to be dancing together at the club.

As I watched them dance, a guy I hadn't seen in a long time came over to my table. He was looking over at the dance floor as he walked up. When he got to my table, he waved at me.

"Hey, David," he said. "Long time. How've you been?"

"Cole, hi," I said casually. "I've been good. I haven't seen you in a while."

"Well, I'm here pretty much every Monday," he said. "I'm thinking that you've been busy doing other things."

He looked back over at the dance floor, clearly watching Valerie and Deeann dancing together.

"You and Deeann still together?" he asked, trying to sound disinterested.

"Of course," I replied. "Still together and doing great."

I purposely left the comment hanging there, not answering the unasked question. I wanted him to ask.

"Who's that dancing with her?" he finally asked, not taking his eyes off of the two ladies.

I watched Deeann and Valerie for a bit. They were putting on quite a show right now. Even other people on the dance floor were watching them.

"Oh, that's Valerie," I said, looking down at my empty glass. "I'm gonna get another drink. Did you want something?"

Cole looked over at me when I asked, but he seemed reluctant to look away from my ladies.

"Um, sure," he said. "What are you having?"

"Well, let's go over to the bar and see what looks good," I said.

We got up from the table and went over to the bar. I looked over their selection of scotch and decided on the Glenmorangie. Melissa finished serving some other guests and then turned back to me.

"Whatcha need, playboy?" she asked.

"Glenmorangie on the rocks for me and whatever beard-boy here wants," I gestured towards Cole and his very dramatic beard, which was not only dyed black, but braided to try to look as "goth" as possible. Cole was a really nice guy, but he just didn't quite have a good fashion sense. It's like he was trying too hard.

"Um, just a whiskey and soda, please," Cole said to Melissa.

"Good whiskey," I chimed in and smiled at her.

Melissa made the drinks and set them on the counter. I nodded and grabbed my drink. Then, I turned around and looked over at my ladies still dancing.

"So..." Cole started and then took a sip of his drink.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Is Valerie a... friend?" he asked.

It was clear that Cole was trying to get at something, but he apparently didn't want to just say it. It was kind of funny, actually.

"No," I said plainly.

"Then..." Cole spoke slowly, carefully choosing his words. "I assume she's more than a friend, given how closely she is dancing with Deeann."

I sipped my scotch and smiled.

"Yep," I said and headed back to the table.

Cole followed me and sat down at the table with me.

"David," he started. "Is it true that... I mean, I've heard around the club tonight, and maybe it is just a rumor, but... I heard that you and Deeann... you two were..."

His voice trailed off and he took a drink of his cocktail.

"What rumor did you hear, Cole?" I said, turning to look directly at him. "Because I don't care for rumors. Rumors imply that there is something to hide. Or that something is going on that shouldn't be going on. And so I'm curious what that rumor might be that you heard. Because I'd be happy to set it straight."

I took a long pull from my scotch and then set the glass on the table. I smiled and looked back over at Deeann and Valerie. They had apparently decided that they were done dancing for now and they were headed over to the table. I stood up as they approached. Cole looked over at me and then stood up quickly as well.

"You ladies looked fantastic," I said as they walked up. "Are you enjoying yourselves?"

"Yes, sir," Deeann said with a smile.

"Most definitely, sir," Valerie said and put her arm around Deeann's waist.

"Ladies, this is Cole," I said, making the introduction for Valerie's sake. "Deeann, I believe you remember Cole. He's here at Death Guild most Mondays. Valerie, Cole is a regular here and he was enjoying watching you and Deeann dancing together."

Valerie blushed and looked down at the ground.

"Cole, it is wonderful to see you again," Deeann said with a smile.

Cole smiled back and nodded. He seemed to be very self-conscious at this point.

"Ladies," I said. "Go over and get yourself some refreshment from Melissa. Make sure you drink some water first."

"Yes, sir," they both replied and then turned to head over to the bar.

"Cole," I said, turning back to him. "Would you please grab one of those empty chairs from the next table over? There are only three here and we'll need one more when they get back."

Cole grabbed a chair and pulled it over. When the ladies walked back up, I gestured for them to sit down. Valerie held the chair for Deeann and then I held the chair for Valerie. Cole stood the whole time, like a gentleman should, and then we both sat back down.

"So, Cole here said that he had heard a rumor going around the club," I said. "Isn't that right, Cole?"

"Well, it's just a bit of talk, really," Cole said, caught off guard by my comment. "Nothing really serious."

Deeann looked at me. I nodded back at her and smiled.

"What rumor did you hear, Cole?" Deeann asked in a very kind voice. Valerie was sipping her drink and intently watching to see what came next.

"Well," Cole said, seeming to want to avoid the topic. "I heard from someone that you and David had, um, had... 'met' someone. Someone that wasn't a regular here at Death Guild."

Deeann smiled and looked over at Valerie, who was just holding her drink and smiling.

"Oh, you must mean Valerie," Deeann said. "Yeah, she doesn't get out in the local scene that much. Mostly due to work schedule conflicts with club events. But, as you can see, she fits right in with the regulars here. And since she is with us now, I'm sure that she will be coming out more often."

Cole tried to keep his composure after hearing that Valerie was 'with' us.

"Well, that's great," Cole said. "It's always nice to get new people into the scene."

"Cole, can you do me a favor?" I asked him.

"Sure, David," he replied. "What do you need?"

"Can you be sure that at some point tonight, you let whoever told you the rumor about Valerie that it is all true. It isn't a rumor. It isn't a secret. Valerie is with us now. And not a fling. Not a toy for our whims. The three of us are in a relationship together. We're not hiding it. And we're not ashamed of it. We're quite happy about it, in fact."

Cole smiled as I said this to him. He seemed like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

"Oh, okay," he said. "Of course. I'll let anyone who is still spreading the rumor know what the truth is.

He took a drink of his cocktail and smiled.

"And I'm happy for you three," he continued. "It's cool that you're living life how you want to live."

I lifted my glass and said, "To living the life you want!"

Everyone lifted their glass and we toasted right there.

"Well, the night is young and there are more drinks to be had," I said. "Let's get a little crazy!"

—

I looked at my watch. It was almost 1. I could feel myself fading. I definitely had more drinks than I should have had on a Monday night. Work tomorrow was going to be horrible. I had just walked off of the dance floor, leaving Valerie and Deeann there in the middle of the crowd. I went over to the bar and let Melissa know that I was ready to close out and she nodded at me.

Once I had that handled, I stepped a bit closer to the dance floor. I caught Deeann's eye and made a gesture that it was time to go. She nodded and then whispered in Valerie's ear. Valerie looked over at me and nodded. They came off of the dance floor, hand in hand, and stood by me.

I handed Valerie the coat check tag.

"Miss, go get our jackets," I said. "We will meet you downstairs at the exit."

"Yes, sir," Valerie said and went off to the coat check.

I took Deeann's hand and led her out of the room, down the stairs, and over to the exit. I stood there, not saying anything, watching the far stairwell for Valerie.

"Is everything alright, sir?" Deeann asked.

"Yes," I said, not elaborating any further.

When I spotted Valerie with our coats, I stepped closer and grabbed Deeann's first. I helped her into her jacket and then grabbed mine and threw it over my shoulder. I helped Valerie put on hers and then led them towards the exit as I put my own on.

As we stepped out front, the cool night air hit my face and it woke me up a bit. But I knew that I was pushing my limits.

Luck was on my side and there were two cabs out front. I waved in their direction and one pulled up. We all piled in the back and I gave the driver our address.

After riding in silence for about 10 minutes, Valerie spoke up.

"Is everything alright, sir?" she asked. "It seems like you're tense about something."

I smiled and looked over at her.

"I'm fine," I said, and left it at that.

We didn't speak any more for the rest of the ride home.

Once we got home, I paid the driver and we went inside. The ladies didn't need my instructions at all. They took off their boots and placed them by the coat rack. I didn't even take off my jacket. I just went straight to the cocktail cart and started mixing some martinis.

The ladies both stood there in the living room. Not quite next to me, but close enough that if I gave them instructions, they would be ready. I finished making the cocktails and then handed one to each of them. I held mine up to toast, but didn't say anything. The ladies tapped their glasses with mine and then I drank the entire martini all at once.

Deeann and Valerie each took a long pull, but didn't finish their drinks. They looked at each other and then at me. Finally, Deeann broke the silence.

"David," she said gently. "Is everything okay?"

I looked at her and smiled. I reached out my hands and then pulled both of them closer to me slowly. As I got them next to me, I put my arms around their waists and smiled.

"Ladies," I said softly. "I am very happy right now. I am in a relationship with two beautiful women. And it is wonderful. I can't think of a better situation to be in than I am right now. I have my dream job, a nice home in an amazing city, and the greatest relationship that anyone could ever ask for. Thank you both for being here with me."

I pulled them closer in a half group hug. They each leaned in close to me.

"Maybe I just feel bold enough to say this because I've had quite a bit to drink tonight," I said. "But I want to say it and I want you both to listen and understand. You know how I like to over analyze everything. But I just feel this needs to be said."

I looked at Deeann and then at Valerie.

"I love you both," I said, and let it sit there in the air.

Deeann smiled and put her head on my chest and her free hand around me.

Valerie looked up at me, then over at Deeann, and then back up at me. She was surprised and it looked like she didn't know what to say. I looked over at her.

"You seem surprised at this, Valerie," I said. "Is it okay that I said that?"

Valerie paused and then set down her drink.

"Sir," she started.

"No, stop that right now, please," I said. "I'm just David right now."

Valerie looked over at Deeann and then at me again.

"David," she continued. "I don't know what to say. I'm happy that you said it. I'm also surprised by it. I mean, I've only been with you for just over a week. And it seems like that's..."

Her voice trailed off. I led both of the ladies over to the couch and had them sit down. I moved the chair over to face them and sat down in it.

"Okay, so, here's the deal," I said. "It took me far too long to tell Deeann how I felt about her. And, to be honest, I have some baggage from previous relationships centered around expressing my feelings. And yeah, I've always considered myself one of those 'overly romantic' people. I definitely love the idea of being in love. But one thing I've learned is that I have to be honest in how I feel. To myself and to those important to me.

"You both are very important to me. And so I need to say how I feel. And how I feel is that I love you. Both of you."

Deeann looked like she was about to say something, but I put up my hand and stopped her.

"Deeann," I said, turning to face her. "I fell for you the moment we met. Well, the moment we met the second time. But, I will say that the very first time we met, I definitely felt something then as well. I took way too long to admit to you how I feel about you. But, I finally was able to express to you how I feel."

I turned to Valerie and smiled.

"Valerie," I said, looking into her eyes. "It has been a crazy and chaotic experience meeting you and getting to know you in such a short amount of time. I don't know how to describe it. But I just feel like you are the perfect fit for us. The puzzle piece that completes the picture. And as I said to you this morning before work, I'm scared of our first conflict. Not that I think it will ruin what we have. I just don't want to go through any negativity. I know it will happen. It always does. Deeann and I have had our moments, and they will happen with you as well. But, I truly believe that we will get through it and come out stronger on the other side."

I reached out and grabbed each of their hands.

"Look, we are doing something very unconventional," I said, looking down at our hands. "This is an unconventional situation and none of us have any specific experience in this sort of thing. But you both are such wonderful people. I truly believe that we can overcome any obstacle that we encounter. And I just want to say that I love you. Both of you. And I want to do everything I can to make sure that we are all happy together."

I looked back up. Valerie had tears in her eyes. Deeann was smiling and blushing a bit.

"Anyone want to add anything to that?" I asked, hoping to get some response.

Valerie looked at the both of us.

"David," she said, holding back her tears. "No one has ever made me feel like I feel with the both of you. I'm glad you said what you did. Because it makes it easier for me to tell you that I love you too. Both of you. All of you. You have given me a place to belong. And the happiness that I've always wanted. Yeah, I know, we're still brand new at this, but I only see it getting better from here."

I looked over at Deeann, who was just smiling.

"What about you, Dee?" I asked. "Anything to add?"

"Only that I'm so happy with everything that has happened in the past weeks," she said. "It is beyond my wildest dreams. And I love you both as well."

I looked over at both of them. I couldn't believe that I had two beautiful women here with me. And they both were happy to be with me. I thought back for a bit about the relationships I had before. I thought about how I had felt in each of them. And in all of them, except for maybe one, I felt like something was missing. Like it wasn't complete.

But not now. Now, all of the pieces had fallen into place. It was all coming together. I just had to put in the effort to be the best person I could be.

"So..." I said, and left that hanging in the air.

Deeann and Valerie both looked at me.

"I'm pretty tired," I continued. "And I've had quite a lot to drink."

Valerie chuckled and Deeann smiled.

"So I'm wondering what is next," I said.

Deeann looked over at Valerie. They appeared to have a conversation without using any words. I realized that I was probably going to have to deal with a lot of this with the two of them. They just seemed to understand each other implicitly.

"Well," Deeann started. "I'm thinking that the two of us ladies need to take you down the hall and undress you. And then put you in bed."

I smiled.

"But," Valerie said. "I'd like to take advantage of you. If that's alright with you... Sir."

I stood up and looked at the two of them. They immediately stood up and stood on either side of me. I started towards the hallway and they followed. When we walked into the bedroom, Deeann went around the room and turned on all of the electric candles we had placed there. Valerie helped me to undress completely. I sat down on the edge of the bed, realizing that I had more than enough to drink tonight.

"Ladies," I said. "I will be honest with you. I don't have the energy to direct things tonight. And so, I'm going to put you two in charge."

Deeann smiled and Valerie looked down at my body. They looked at each other and then Valerie moved over and sat next to me. I laid back on the bed and watched Deeann, who was slowly stripping in the middle of the room. Valerie reached over and started to stroke my cock slowly.

I relaxed and let them entertain me. As Deeann slowly pulled her panties off and dropped them onto the floor, Valerie leaned over and took my cock into her mouth, sliding down on it as far as she could. As she did this, Deeann moved up behind her and started to remove Valerie's clothing. It was a wonderful thing to watch.

Soon, all of Valerie's clothes were on the floor next to the bed and she was still sucking me. Deeann climbed up on the bed and kneeled over my legs. Valerie pulled off of my cock and held it there for Deeann. Deeann moved up and sat down on me, letting Valerie guide me into Deeann.

As Deeann slowly rode me, Valerie got up onto the bed and knelt over my face. She lowered her wet pussy over my mouth and slipped her hand down to fondle her clit. I took advantage of the position and put my tongue up into her lips. She tasted amazing and she moaned softly as I pushed my tongue in further.

We kept going like this for a while. Deeann riding on my cock while Valerie sat on my face, fondling her clit as I licked her pussy. I could feel Deeann's pace getting faster as she rode me, and her breathing was getting quicker. Valerie leaned forward and put her hand on Deeann's neck and pulled her close. They kissed and I could feel Deeann's body tense.

Deeann kept rocking on me while I shoved my tongue in and out of Valerie. The pace was increasing and I could hear Deeann making small sighs and gasps as her orgasm built. Valerie could tell that Deeann was getting close. She put her hands up to Deeann's neck and kissed her passionately. I could hear Deeann moaning while Valerie kissed her deeply.

And then, her orgasm peaked and Deeann started to squirt. She let out a squeal as she pulled back from Valerie's kiss and bounced her body up and down on my dick. She kept squirting and panting. I could feel her pussy clenching on me as she rode me and kept spraying juice all over us both. Valerie had moved forward and was licking Deeann's nipples, prolonging her orgasm.

Finally, she stopped squirting and lifted herself off of my cock. She collapsed on the bed next to my legs, panting and moaning.

Valerie didn't let a moment pass. She moved forward and slid my hard cock into her cunt and started to ride. She was facing away from me and I could see her firm ass moving up and down. Valerie was moaning and saying, "yes, yes, yes, yes" over and over as she fucked me. It didn't take long until I could feel her orgasm on me. She pushed herself down on my hard shaft and held it as deeply inside of her as she could go. The walls of her pussy were throbbing and her breath was coming in short gasps.

I couldn't hold out any longer and I came deep inside of Valerie. Valerie lifted herself up and off of me and then fell forward onto the end of the bed, gasping. Trails of my cum dripped out of her as she lay there.

Deeann immediately got up and went over to lick Valerie's pussy and the cum dripping from it. And then, she turned and took my cock into her mouth, sucking the head and licking the rest of my cum from the tip. And then, she moved over to lay next to Valerie, pulled Valerie around to face her, and gave her a kiss, letting the cum that she had licked up drip out of their mouths as they kissed at the end of the bed.

When they had shared and swallowed the cum, they smiled at each other and then turned to me. Valerie moved up and cuddled next to me, nuzzling into my neck. Deeann stood up off of the bed and walked towards the door.

"Miss," Deeann said to Valerie. "I'll be back with some clean sheets in a moment. You make sure our man gets comfortable in the chair so we can change the bedding."

"Yes, madam," Valerie replied.

Deeann walked out of the room and Valerie sat up.

"Okay, sir," Valerie said to me. "You heard my madam. I need you to come over to the chair with me so we can get the bed ready for us to sleep."

I got up slowly and went over to the chair. Valerie held my hands as she waited for Deeann to return with the new bedding. The two of them changed the sheets and blanket quickly and then Valerie came over and took my hands. She led me back to the bed and I got in. They both crawled in on either side of me and cuddled up. I lay there for a bit just enjoying the feeling of their bare bodies next to mine.

"Thank you ladies," I said. And then I added, "This week, let's see if we can find a good king sized bed for our room."
