Dark Shadows 2026

This is a work of fan fiction based on the 1960s TV classic Gothic vampire drama DARK SHADOWS. It is the night of the final Dark Shadows fan convention in Los Angeles, in late August, the 30th, 2026. The event is held in the Westin hotel by the LAX airport. Tasha Collins a big Dark Shadows fan, age 26, goes to the convention. The surviving cast members Kathryn Leigh Scott (who played Josette) and Roger Davis (who played Peter Bradford and others) are in attendance to speak as guests. During a break, Tasha is enchanted by a strange woman's perfume and follows her into the women's bathroom. There the woman reveals she is actually Angelique from the show and that she's real and can make her dreams of living a Dark Shadows fantasy come true. But there is a price to pay. If she wants it badly enough, she'll stay stuck permanently in the dimension she will bring her to and she will not be able to return to the year 2026. Angelique tells her that some of the plots from the episodes can occur as they did in their final edit form or if Tasha does something different, it will affect the timeline and change the outcomes. Tasha consents to fall under Angelique's magic spell. She is then brought to the 1790s storyline from the show and is in the role of Victoria Winters. She is captured by the evil Reverend Trask who thinks she's a witch and sent to trial. At the trial she is sentenced to be hung. Tasha decides to run away with her lawyer Peter Bradford not to the Collins mausoleum secret panel room but to the old house where Barnabas lives. There in a room they have sex. There she asks Barnabas to use his magic to bring herself and Peter Bradford to the present time of 2026. But just as Barnabas prepares them with a ritual of time travel, Angelique interferes. Angelique and Barnabas fight each other with magic and Barnabas wins the fight. Tasha and Peter are sent back to 2026. They are in the Westin hotel parking lot in the front entrance and drive away to Tasha's North Hollywood home where she wants to live with Peter as man and wife. Peter tells her that since he is actually a character played by Roger Davis who is currently 87 he as Peter can only live until the day that Roger dies. Tasha accepts this.
