In the not too distant future......
It was late afternoon as Jessica pulled up to the overgrown gate of the ancient house and turned off her vehicle with a press of the touch holo next to the steering wheel. The sun was hidden by an overcast sky and would make for some perfect lighting for what she had planned. Stepping out she looked at the high gate and walls before her and could just barely see the rooftops of the old house above the plant life that covered the gate and wall.
This part of England was barely populated and whoever had owned the old house years ago had not left it to their family or the government so it had been unattended for many years. It was because of this that the rumors had started, and it was those rumors that had brought Jessica here.
"K4, you up?" Jessica asked tapping her wrist band. A small holographic display appeared over her forearm and she pressed a couple of buttons.
"Yes ma'am," a female computer voice said and a small orb lifted off from a clip-on Jessica's belt. Her personal AI was overly formal, as always, but it did its job well and would be able to record today's events. It also could send for help if something bad happened, but Jessica was positive there was no chance of that. She had never found any concrete truth to these kinds of rumors, and today would be no different.
"Take some intro footage would you." Jessica said and with another overly formal "yes ma'am" K4 floated up above her head to comply.
Jessica started forward and began looking for a way past the gate. She was about 5'6" with bright green eyes, black hair with blue highlights as was the latest style, and she had a fit build that had not completely taken her curves but had lessened them slightly. Not that she minded really. She enjoyed being in shape as it helped for things like this. She looked about twenty but was actually closer to thirty but then every adult these days looked at least ten to twenty years younger than they actually were.
Seeing no easy way past the wall and gate Jessica began to climb and without too much effort, soon dropped down to the other side. Brushing off a few twigs and leaves that had attached to her she looked up smiling.
The old abandoned house stood before her, and it was huge. Multiple stories and wings it was larger than even most mansions, and what's more it looked the part. Run down and gloomy it had the appearance of something from an old horror movie from the twenty twenties. Jessica loved it.
"K4, scan for structural integrity." she said stepping forward. She had no intention of having this thing fall on her.
"Structure is at 90% integrity throughout the ground floor. East and north wings as well. I would advise against venturing to the southern wing." K4 said, the AI's voice coming from the wrist band Jessica wore.
"Understood." Jessica said and started up the front steps.
The doors appeared to have been chained shut at one point but had been forced open, likely by a few bored local teens. Jessica stooped and slipped inside under the chain1, K4 floating in directly behind her.
The inside was a sight to behold. Even run down and covered with years of dust, the manor's refinement could still be seen. Whoever lived here must have been very wealthy for their time. Paintings hung along every wall, though most were faded beyond recognition. A huge chandelier hung over the entrance hall, with an immaculate staircase in the back center of the room leading to the next floor. Large halls on either side led to the wings, and everything from the wallpaper to the carved furniture and hand rails spoke of refinement, or at least it had. Years of neglect had run everything down to a great extent and what remained was an almost eerie shadow of its former glory.
Jessica smiled. It was perfect. Looking around for the best backdrop she positioned herself accordingly then looked herself over.
"K4 set recording from this angle." she said then added, "How do I look?"
"Everything appears to be in its proper place." the AI answered.
"You're a big help." Jessica said but she smiled. Even though it was not on purpose, K4 was amusing at times and she did prefer to have a form of company in the old house. Not that she believed in what she was here to find, but the house was still a bit creepy.
Smiling Jessica pressed a button on her wrist holo and a small red light illuminated on the side of K4.
"Hey here followers!" Jessica said energetically "Welcome to another episode of Specter Hunt. I'm here in the back woods of England in a house that is well over a hundred years old. We are going to find out if the stories coming from the nearby town are true. That this house is haunted!"
She turned in a slow circle so K4 could pan the camera to view the house without losing her in the shot.
"I'll be conducting my usual tests and scans so we can find out together if there are truly ghosts in this manor. Let's go."
She waved her hand as she turned to start down one of the halls. K4 followed then moved up and over her shoulder and down the hall ahead of her to give the audience the illusion of going down the hall first.
Jessica tapped her wrist and the red light turned off.
"Good job K4." she said "That shot should look great. Give me a map please."
A thin blue laser like light scan suddenly spread away from K4 and quickly moved around the edges of the room then down the halls, mapping the internal layout of the old house. Jessica watched her wrist holo as a map began to form. The house was huge, and had plenty of rooms for her to explore and film short segments in. She smiled. She really did enjoy making this show, and all the exploration that went with it, even if she herself did not believe in ghosts. She was well into her third season now, and had never once found clear evidence of a spectral being or supernatural occurrence. Of course she had not told this to her viewers exactly. Skeptic as she was, she still edited her footage in such a way as to leave the possibility of an otherworldly event. Most of these old homes had their share of creaks and moans from age, as well as random bumps and bangs. The noises were always due to a frightened animal running from her intrusion, or the wind slamming a door shut. She of course investigated these sounds for their cause, but she didn't always include what she found. This let her viewers decide if it was a ghost or not, keeping her show suspenseful. As far as she was concerned there was nothing wrong with this practice. Her viewers wanted a ghost show, and that was what she gave them.
Jessica went about looking from room to room for the best places to shoot a segment. She had K4 on constant record mode in the event something creepy happened, but she would likely have him delete most of the footage. The kitchen looked especially spooky, with the abandoned pots and pans hanging from the walls and upper cabinets. It looked like it had been left neatly the last time someone had cooked here, but a few kitchen items had fallen either from time, animals, or even an occasional group of exploring teens. That was actually what had brought her to the old building in the first place. A group of teens from the local town had returned one night scared out of their mind with stories of an old haunted house they had found. She, of course, had not come to the location at night, never night for the first filming was her rule, but it was still surprisingly dark in the old house. And oddly chilly for a summer's evening. Must be from the lack of light getting through the old windows. The kitchen could be a good option for a quick scene, but she decided to keep looking and use it as a backup.
Jessica continued her search, working her way upstairs and into a long set of halls. Monstrously tall doors lined the hallway, and some seemed to have rusted shut as they would not budge, no matter how hard she pushed. Eventually she found one that was partly open and managed to squeeze inside. It was dark in the room, very dark.
"A bit of light please." she said and K4 instantly lit up with a directed beam of light that shone over Jessica's shoulder much like a flashlight. As she began to look around the light tracked her line of sight, illuminating whatever she was looking at. If anything, it made the room even more creepy.
"H-how about..." Jessica began then cleared her throat to keep from shuddering "How about a more overhead light," she said, just managing to keep her voice from shaking.
"It will make for a less dynamic shot, but as you wish ma'am." K4 said, hovering up to the room ceiling. The light that shone from him began to illuminate the entire room in a dim glow.
"Better." Jessica said calming down a little. That was odd. Why had this room suddenly creeped her out? This was far from her first time in an old house. Hell, she had even explored Frankenstein's castle in Germany, like the actual one that inspired the book, but something about this room was giving her goosebumps. She took a deep breath to calm herself, and almost instantly coughed.
This room was beyond dusty and it seemed that some was getting up her nose. A tickle suddenly bloomed and she began rubbing her nose with the palm of her hand. It didn't help.
Dust overwhelming her nose, Jessica sneezed. It was rather strong and quite loud for a girl, at least she'd always thought so, but at least she didn't sound like a guy sneezing like her sister did. Jessica had always been a bit self-conscious about her loud sneezes but try as she might she could not stifle or quiet them. Eventually she had just accepted that they were the way they were and others would just have to deal with it. Still, she was a bit jealous of her roommate's high-pitched girly sneezes that sounded cute and made most people say "Oh you poor thing" or some other such nonsense before blessing her. In her case she tended to get "Oh god, are you okay?" or something along those lines before they blessed her, if they even remembered to after the shock of her sneeze.
Thankfully she was alone now and did not have to worry about any of that. Additionally, a benefit of the sneeze was it had distracted her from being spooked, and she had finally calmed down.
"Okay, let's see what we can film in this room." Jessica said looking around for what would be the best angle.
The room appeared to be a master bedroom. A large fireplace was along the wall while a huge bed filled the center of the room. There was also the largest wardrobe she had ever seen. Something about the ornate design gave Jessica the impression that this had been a woman's bedroom. On the far wall hung a set of tall curtains hiding what must be one of the largest windows in the house, although not the slightest hint of light was showing through.
Jessica was just turning her gaze away from the curtains when movement from the corner of her eye pulled her attention back. The end of the curtain had.... shifted? Her heart jumped into her throat as the fear came screaming back, her mind frantically trying to figure out how the fabric had moved.
After a few heart pounding moments, she let out a long sigh. The window must be open and a breeze must have moved the fabric. Jessica almost laughed out loud at herself as she walked over to the window.
"You're getting jumpy girl," she told herself as she reached to pull the window curtain back. Whatever grime was covering the glass, it was letting absolutely no light through but she barely noticed that.
The window was closed.
Jessica froze and there was an instant battle in her mind between her logic and a nearly instinctual fear. The window was closed, so it couldn't have been wind that moved the curtains, but it couldn't have been a ghost because ghosts simply did not exist, but then what had moved it......
Animals! That was it! An animal, probably a mouse, had been spooked by her entering the room, and had decided to run and hide, moving the curtains as it did. Jessica let out another long breath and gave a small laugh to herself.
From the corner of her eye, she saw a puff of dust from the night stand, like a quick rush of air had been blown against the flat surface. Of course, it wasn't air because it couldn't have been. It was the mouse jumping off the nightstand looking for another place to hide. She had simply not seen the critter in the dim light. Jessica walked over to the nightstand, positive she would find tiny footprints in the dust that covered the ancient furniture, that covered everything in this room for that matter.
There were none.
She must just not be able to see them, it was too dark, that was it.
"A b-bit more light please," Jessica said. Calm, calm, this could all be explained. No need to get worked up, she thought to herself. "K4!?"
"Ma-a-a-a'm?" the electronic voice replied with an uncharacteristic stammer. "I am already at maximum illumination."
"Are you alright?" Jessica asked. K4 sounded like it was malfunctioning, but that was impossible. AI tech simply did not glitch in this day and age. So why had it stammered like that?
"I am functioning at full capa... capa...."
Jessica looked up in shock to see K4's hover begin to waver. Worse, its light was beginning to flicker.
Suddenly the light went out completely. Against her best-efforts, Jessica let out a startled scream as the room dropped into complete darkness.
"Okay! Okay, calm down! It's just the dark," Jessica said trying to convince herself not to scream again. Freaking out would do no good. She had to find a way out of the room, and for that she needed light. She stood for a moment thinking, trying to ignore how unsettling the sound of her breathing was in the quiet dark. Suddenly an idea came to her. Her holo!
Jessica tapped her wrist and an orange glow filled the room and the holographic controls came to life. Turning around she saw the door and took one step towards it before she remembered. K4! Looking up first, she saw her AI was no longer hovering in the air above her. She began to look around the room and caught sight of a metallic glint on the floor. K4 had apparently shut down, something that should be impossible, and fell to the old rug beneath her feet. Reaching down she picked up the small sphere and clipped it to her belt then stood. Okay, now to get out of-
Her holo flickered and shut off. To her embarrassment Jessica screamed again, but at least it was a short one she managed to cut off. "Calm down!" she almost yelled at herself. She had been facing the door so all she had to do was walk forward.
Slowly she took a step, then another and another, arms spread before her as she went, feeling for the door.
She bumped into something soft at leg level, and she went down hard with a yelp. She fully expected to painfully hit the floor but instead landed on a soft cushiony surface. The bed!? Fear began to fill her even more. She had been facing the door; she was sure of it and the bed had been to her right, nearly half the room away. Rolling over, Jessica sat up coughing. Her fall must have kicked up one heck of a dust cloud because the second her coughing stopped, she knew she was going to sneeze. Not that she really cared just then. Getting out of this room was what mattered. She stood up still feeling the bed behind her and tried to remember the room's layout.
Her powerful sneeze shattered the silence of the room followed by two more as the dust got to her again. She reached for the bed post to steady herself during the third, and her hand met something oddly soft. Under normal circumstances the sensation would have felt almost pleasant. In this situation however it caused her fear to bloom into outright terror.
"What the fuck is that!?" she screamed jerking her hand away. Then, realizing what the object she had touched actually felt like added, "Who's there!?"
A woman's...... breast? That is what it had felt like. Not a naked one but more like one under a thin layer of clothing. It was unmistakable. Not that she often felt women's breasts mind you, well, if you didn't count her own, but even so she had occasionally bumped into her roommate when moving around their small apartment kitchen; and there had been that one late night of exploration with her best friend when she was eighteen.
Shaking the oddly timed memory, away Jessica tried to calm down, to refocus. She had not touched a person, that was impossible. But then what had it been? Whatever it had been she knew she had to get out of this room. Maybe if she opened the door, it would be light enough to see what she had actually touched. How had the door closed anyway? She was sure she had left it open.
Still breathing hard, Jessica took one step forward and turned to her right. The door should be in front of her, or at least the wall with the door, and she could feel back and forth along it till she found the handle.
She started forward. One, two, three, four, five slow frightened steps but she was moving.... then she was falling again with a frightened yell.
The bed!?
Again!?
How!?
It wasn't possible, but once again she had fallen on the bed even when it couldn't possibly be in front of her. She was starting to full on panic as she frantically rolled over and stood back up. This time she walked directly forward, much faster. Her plan now to reach the far wall then follow it right till it reached the wall with the door. One, two, three, four, five, six.... with the seventh step she was falling again and once again the soft bed caught her.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! What the fuck!?" Jessica mumbled as she rolled over again and sat up.... or at least she tried. A weight suddenly pressed down on her body and she was gently but firmly pushed back on the bed. She screamed, or at least she would have. Jessica had not known until just that moment that it was possible to be too scared to scream. All she managed was a whimper of fear and panic. What was on her!? Oh god what was on her!? Her mind screamed at her that it could only be one thing, that all her skepticism up till now had been foolish, that she was paying the price for not believing.
A ghost! It had to be a ghost! Some angry spirit who was enraged by Jessica having disturbed it and now would have its vengeance.
Tears coming from the corners of her eyes Jessica again tried to sit up but whatever, whoever was holding her down was far stronger than her. She had to get up and get the thing off her... but how? Force was not working, so perhaps talking would?
"Who.... a-are y-you?" Jessica asked, voice quivering. She waited, trying her best not to start sobbing in terror.
It was not words. It was... more of a feeling that replied to her, an impression. And it definitely had a question of its own, but not at all what Jessica had expected.
"Why.... why is my hair... blue?" Jessica said confused. She had fully expected there not to be an answer, and if there was one, that it would be a threat, or some sort of command to get out. Instead, it was...... curiosity.
"It's b-blue because I dyed it." Jessica said, the question of how the spirit could even know her hair was blue in the dark only in the far corners of her mind. Jessica listened, or more accurately felt for a reply.
A feeling of confusion, then more curiosity.
It made sense. If this spirit was as old as the house it likely had no idea what dying hair actually meant.
Jessica felt a cool sensation along the side of her face. She turned her head away, sucking in a breath. It didn't feel deathly cold but she had the distinct feeling the ghost, or spirit, or what ever this was, had just caressed her cheek. She felt the sensation move down her neck, then felt the fabric of her top move slightly.
"What... am I wearing?" Jessica said, sensing the question more then hearing it, "Clothing. Just normal clothing."
Curiosity, followed by fascination.
"No, well, yes I am wearing pants," she said "Their called jeans."
A feeling of... not quiet disgust but Jessica could tell the spirit though her wearing pants was just scandalous.
The cool sensation passed over Jessica's inner thigh and she sucked in a breath. Unbidden warmth suddenly heated her lower stomach and she felt an almost dizzying sense of arousal flutter through her for a moment before the fear returned and washed it away.
Jessica felt a feeling of desire from the spirit, followed by apology.
The sensation on her thigh vanished.
"It's okay," she said "I suppose it probably has been a while since you...." Her voice trailed off for a moment. She felt, dizzy again and her breathing slowed as the fear once again began to ebb away, replaced by another pulse of warmth. She knew she should be pissing herself scared but a very differed feeling was steadily growing between her legs.
"What are you... ohhh." The sensation returned, moving up her thigh and towards her dampening pussy.
Jessica felt her hips squirm and her nipples begin to grow hard. What the fuck was happening? Why couldn't she think straight? Her mind felt foggy, almost like she was sleepy and about to doze off, but it wasn't sleepiness. The spirit, intentionally or otherwise, was doing something to her. Part of her mind, the part that was still aware of where she was, screamed at her to focus and to get out of there; but another part of her desperately wanted to let herself go and sink into the warm growing pleasure. She tried to move, to sit up, but still the weight held her down, yet there was something about it that made her not panic. The weight felt, gentile if that made any sense at all. It reminded her of the feeling of her ex laying on top of her after the two had sex. Heavy but not painful or frightening. Oddly comforting. She felt her arousal grow as the sensation reached the seam of her jeans and slide along the zipper. She felt herself press upwards into the feeling. She was is trouble. If she didn't stop now, she would be too turned on to stop at all.
"What are you doing?" she managed to say.
Surprise, followed by shame, then apology.
The weight vanished, the fog of arousal faded, and Jessica sat up quickly. Her heart was still pounding, but the terror had reduced to fear mixed with curiosity. She was not really sure what to say next. She was torn between wanting to know more about what was happening, and her instinct to get the hell out of there.
"May..... may I leave?" she said finally "I am very sorry for disturbing you."
Acceptance and further apology.
"So.... does that mean.... I can leave?"
Confirmation and.... hidden loneliness.
Jessica suddenly felt sorry for the spirit. How long had it been... existing in this old manor? Was it constantly aware, or only aware if it was disturbed and woken up?
"I-if I promise to come back..... tomorrow... will you help me leave?" Jessica asked "I can't seem to find the door to this room for some reason."
Contemplation. Agreement.
The small flickering light of a candle suddenly filled the room. Jessica almost cried in relief. The dark had become oppressive, and even though this light was dim, it felt like a sunrise in her desperation. Of course, light meant she could see. And what exactly was she about to see?
Slowly, fear filling her again, Jessica began to look around the room, fully expecting to see a horrific vision of the spirit. Maybe its kindness had just been a game and it would choose now to turn vicious.
The candle that had suddenly lit was on the dresser to her left and she had looked in that direction without even realizing it the moment the sweet light appeared. Now she slowly turned her head to the right, noticing for the first time that she was shaking, she likely had been this whole time. The far wall and wardrobe were right where she remembered them, despite the impossible changes the room had made in the dark. She continued to turn and saw the door to her right. She held her breath. If any horror movie she had ever seen had it right, the spirit would be sitting next to her. She would see it, have just enough time to scream her lungs out and it would attack her. She finished turning.
Nothing.
"Are.... are you still there?" Jessica asked.
Nothing.
Slowly she stood.
"I really will come back tomorrow." Jessica said hoping if she reassured the spirit, it would not try to stop her.
As calmly as she could, she figured running would make it doubt her, she began walking towards the door.
Nothing unusual happened. No cool sensations, no unseen weight.
Jessica continued and, in a moment, reached the door. It opened with little force. And she stepped into the hall. Late afternoon light still peeked through the ancient windows and Jessica nearly moaned in relief. She breathed easier knowing she would not need to find her way out in the dark. She moved down the hall slowly picking up speed as her fear began to engage her fight or flight instincts. By the time she reached the main hall and front door she was sprinting.
Out the door and into the overgrown grounds she ran flat out, hitting the fence with a full speed jump that she used to push herself up and over. Her landing was less than graceful as she came down hard on the other side but she didn't care. She was out.
Turning to look back she was again reminded of those old horror movies where just as the character thought they were safe the ghost appeared and killed them.
Nothing.
She let out a long sigh and felt her knees suddenly become weak.
"You... will not..... pass out." Jessica told herself and managed to keep her footing as the dizziness passed.
Leaving. She was most definitely leaving. Right now. She turned towards her vehicle.
"Shall we begin filming?" a computerized voice asked.
Jessica yelped and spun around absolutely positive it was the spirit. Seeing nothing she realized to her embarrassment where the voice had come from.
"K4" Jessica said relieved "You're back online."
"Back online?" K4 asked "I was never offline."
"You were.... never mind." Jessica said "We... we won't be filming anything further today."
"As you wish ma'am." K4 said.
Jessica sighed again and was about to turn back to her vehicle when she saw something glint in the light of the setting sun. Metal on a stone wall? Right where the stone wall ended against the main gate before beginning again on the other side there was something just faintly reflecting light. She had not seen it on her way in as the sun had been higher in the sky.
Curiosity filled Jessica, and once again overrode her fear. Maybe it was a clue as to who this manor had belonged to. Walking up to the wall, she had to pull away years of overgrowth before she could make out the worn sign.
"Everheart Manor." Jessica said aloud as she read. She had never heard the name, but she was certain that during its time, the name had been well known.
Sadness filled her as she thought of the manor's fall from grace, but such was time. These things happened.
She turned and walked to her vehicle.
The drive back home was uneventful, and Jessica used the time to try to make sense of what had just happened, to try to find a logical explanation. She couldn't think of one, well one that did not include spirits and ghosts being real. Problem was, her mind still refused to accept that as a possibility. Perhaps she had fallen in the dark and hit her head on something. She could have dreamed the whole thing, her mind filling in the gaps as she came to and made her way out of the house. That idea made sense, except for the fact she had no signs of injury on her whatsoever, confirmed by a quick scan from K4. Adding to the list of unexplained events was the fact that K4 had not only shut down but had a memory gap from the point she had entered the room to leaving the manor. AI units plain didn't have those kinds of malfunctions, not in the last ten years at least since the invention of higher core synaptic processing.
Jessica arrived at her apartment building in the nearby city. Well, if nearby was a hundred miles. The trip had taken only a few minutes once she had entered the automated travel ways. The longest part of the drive had been along the country back roads near the manor.
After parking her vehicle in storage, she entered her building and was brought to one of the higher floors in mere seconds by the lift. Coming to her door she waved her wrist band against the sensor pad and the door slid open.
The thought had crossed her mind to run inside and frantically tell her roommate all that had happened, but she had decided not to. She would sound completely off her rocker. Instead, she would spend the evening trying to make sense of things, and maybe, just maybe, go back tomorrow to investigate more. With her roommate of course, if she felt up to it.
"Welcome home Jessica." a cheerful female voice called out.
Not even a second later a five-foot-tall female hologram appeared in front of her. She had bright blue hair with a pink highlight, and wore a rather revealing set of white shorts and black blouse.
"Anything I can do for you?" the house AI said.
"Hi Melody." Jessica said "Nothing right now. I'd like to shower in about ten minutes."
"I will have the water running and hot for you." Melody said smiling and vanished.
House AIs were much more sophisticated than personal AI's, able to mimic human speech and emotion very well. As for this particular AI's appearance and personality, well that was thanks to Jessica's roommate. Both Jessica and Kaylee had purchased the base AI together but it had been Kaylee who had offered to find and download a personality profile and since Jessica had been busy with a project at the time she had agreed. Did Jessica regret that now? Well, not really, she supposed, at least not most of the time. Melody was very cheerful and had a good sense of humor which was rare in AIs. But she was also friendly, a bit too friendly at times, often finding ways to somehow hide flirtation in her interactions. Sometimes it felt like Melody was outright coming on to her. Of course, if she pointed it out the AI would just grin and feign ignorance, which tended to make her laugh more often than not.
Jessica supposed she shouldn't be surprised that Kaylee would pick a personality like that. She had the same sense of humor and sexual preference that Melody seemed to have. But that had never been a problem for Jessica. It was just weird coming from the AI. The two women had been friends for years and Kaylee knew Jessica was not interested in anything more intimate than that. They got along quite well as roommates actually.
"Hey, Kaylee?" Jessica called as she walked into the living room.
"In here," came the cheerful reply.
Jessica spotted her roommate sitting on the couch watching a show. It looked like an episode of one of those anime she liked so much.
Kaylee was shorter than Jessica but taller than Melody. She had a very beautiful figure and was a couple cup sizes up from her roommate, which was something else Jessica had needed to get over her jealousy of. She had blonde hair that was long and styled hair with a pink highlight similar to Melody's. Today she was wearing a pink blouse with a picture of an anime character on it Jessica didn't recognize. Some sort of red panda singing? Jessica shook her head. She never had understood Kaylee's fascination with the media. The rest of her roommate was wrapped in a soft looking blanket.
"Hi Jessica," Kaylee said cheerfully, "You're back early."
"Yeah. Things didn't quite go as planned." Jessica said then reading Kaylee's inquiring face added. "It got dark faster than I thought it would and I didn't want to stay out too late."
"Well, its not that late," Kaylee said, and then, yawned with a dramatic stretch the moved the blanket off her legs, revealing a thin pair of black lace panties that were partly see-through.
"Kaylee." Jessica said groaning, "We talked about this. Thought you agreed to wear more then... then that around the apartment.
"Well, you were out." Kaylee said in a playful pouty voice. "And besides, were roomies, and both girls, what's the big deal?"
Normally, it was not really a that big a deal, it was really more of an annoying habit. The kinda thing you only find out about when sharing a living space. But happened when Jessica saw Kaylee's bare legs and the quick glimpse of the other woman's pussy through the thin materiel. Something that was not normal, at least for Jessica. Not normal at all.
Arousal tinged its way into Jessica's stomach, heading directly south where it bloomed in her pussy like a flower.
When had Kaylee become so...... hot?
Jessica shook her head, her face an exasperation of confusion. Where on earth had that thought come from? She was straight, always had been. And she'd lived with Kaylee for a couple years, and even seen her fully naked a few times, but this... this was new. Jessica felt herself actually becoming wet.
"Uh, I j-just remembered... I needed to take a shower." Jessica said walking quickly out of the room.
"Oh, okay." Kaylee said raising an eyebrow, but then shrugging and going back to her show.
Jessica headed into the bathroom to find it full of steam with the shower running as asked.
"Melody, could you turn the temperature to cool instead." Jessica said as she began to almost frantically undress.
She badly needed a cold shower although why she suddenly needed one was beyond her comprehension. Why on earth had she gotten turned on by her roommate?
Letting her clothing fall wherever, Jessica slid the door to the large shower open and stepped inside. Three shower heads, one above and one both left and right sprayed a cascade of water down in the large shower. She stepped under the stream.
"OH! Oh sh-shirt!" Jessica yelled in surprise "D-damn it Melody! I said cool not c-cold! I'm not in the m-mood for your j-jokes!"
Melody appeared in the shower with a smile that was just short of bursting into giggles, the water only slightly distorting her image.
"I'm sorry Jessica." she said, not even trying to hide her amusement "I must have misheard you. I'll warm it back up."
"Th-thanks." Jessica said beginning to shiver. The water warmed to just the way she liked it and she stepped underneath the streams with a sigh of contentment.
"Would you like me to wash your back?" Melody asked with a playful grin.
Jessica sighed again but this time in exasperation. "You know that's not even possible right? You can't even touch things."
"It's still fun to think about though." Melody said looking up at her teasingly.
"Out!" Jessica commanded, but she did grin. With an even wider smile than when she arrived Melody gave a teasing curtsy and vanished.
"And don't return or monitor me unless I ask you to." Jessica ordered.
"You got it. Call if you need anything." Melody's voice came followed by a soft chime that indicated the house AI sensors were no longer active in the bathroom.
Jessica shook her head and reached for the soap. Sometimes Melody drove her crazy but just when she was about to complain to Kaylee and ask her to find another personality, Melody would do something kind or thoughtful, or she would make a joke that would leave Jessica crying with laughter. Grudgingly she had to admit it was a good AI.
After enjoying the warm water for a moment Jessica pressed the small hologram on the glass near where it met the wall. A small device slid from inside a compartment and deposited shampoo into her waiting hand. She washed her hair then after retrieving her body wash began to work on cleaning the rest of herself. A few moments later she had rinsed off and was letting herself enjoy the realization that came with the warm water. She turned it a little hotter and sighed as the glass of the shower began to fog. She closed her eyes and let her mind wander. It of course went right back to the events in the house. It couldn't have been real. It couldn't. And yet something had happened. She replayed the events in the bedroom in her mind. The sudden darkness, the bed seeming to move, the weight, the cool sensation and the arousal that came with it.
With surprising suddenness, that same arousal returned. Jessica took a deep breath and placed a hand on the shower wall to steady herself. Just like that she was horny again and it was even stronger than before, the warm water flowing over her breast not helping one bit. Jessica raised her hand to turn the water cool but stopped as a very strong temptation began to fill her. She wanted.... no she needed some.... relief. She deserved some healthy distraction after such a crazy day. Maybe a good orgasm would help clear her mind and help her actually be able to analyze what had happened in the manor.
Feeling that subtle rush of excitement she always felt when she knew she was about to play with herself; Jessica reached up and unclipped the shower head. Adjusting the control on the side to a particular massage setting that felt just right, she began to spray the water on her right breast while caressing her left with her free hand. As this was far from her first time using her shower head this way, the effects were almost instant. Suppressing a moan, she closed her eyes and let her mind begin its usual fantasies of hot guys. Most recently it tended to be her ex-boyfriend. While they had definitely needed to break up, the sex had been very good. She missed it, and while she would not start things up again just for the sex, but it was fair to say her shower head had gotten more attention than usual recently.
This time however her fantasies seemed to have a mind of their own. She started to imagine her ex but suddenly her thoughts shifted to her roommate. What the hell!? She tried to refocus, to remember the feeling of a man's cock filling her, of his strength and his scent. She pictured a man walking towards her, his eyes saying everything he wanted to do to her, but then the mental image shifted. Kaylee was the one walking towards her, naked and smiling, her nipples erect, and arousal dripping down the side of her leg. Without even thinking Jessica moved the shower head down and began to aim the warm water at her most sensitive area, while positioning her body so the other two shower heads sprayed massaging water on her breasts.
What on earth was she doing fantasizing about her roommate!? She tried once more to push the thoughts away but they pushed right back and suddenly Jessica didn't care. The same warm foggy lust she'd felt in the haunted bedroom washed over her, and this time she didn't fight it. She closed her eyes and found herself imagining Kaylee, crawling towards her on the bed, her head lowering between Jesssica's spread legs, and starting to lick her clit. Matching the fantasy, Jessica slowly adjusted the spray pressure till it was just right, and aimed it directly at her clit.
With a stifled moan and shuddering breath, an amazingly powerful orgasm rushed through Jessica's pussy like a tidal wave. Her eyes rolled back and knees threatened to give out, causing her to lean against the shower wall to keep from falling and still the pleasure grew. Her pussy throbbed, clenching hard and causing her to squirt for the first time, but she didn't notice. She whimpered, her hips rolling like she was riding someone as the orgasm went on and on. In the back of her mind, she realized she was cuming harder than she ever had in her life. It almost felt like she was having two at once!
It seemed to go on forever until finally the waves ended and she aimed the shower head away with a gasp as her clit suddenly became too sensitive. Knees finally giving out she slid down the wall and sat for what felt like a full three minutes just catching her breath.
"Fuck me." Jessica said out of breath "Holy shit that was strong."
She involuntarily giggled as an aftershock jumped through her. She had no idea why but that orgasm had been unreal. She definitely was in a better mood even if she felt a bit guilty about fantasizing about her friend and roommate.
Finally catching her breath Jessica stood, slid the shower door open and stepped out. She wrapped herself in a towel then just stood for a moment.
Just what on earth was wrong with her, she wondered. She wasn't sure but she suspected she had experienced a full-on hallucination that afternoon and now she had just experienced something amazing but completely out of character. Not the masturbation, she did that quite often, but the subject of her fantasy was completely unlike her.
Walking over to the sink, Jessica reached up and wiped the fog from the mirror planning to give herself a good 'get your head together girl!' talk.
Instead, she screamed.
The face in the mirror.....
Was not hers.
Jessica screamed and lurched backwards away from the mirror, her towel falling from around her. Stepping off the shower mat, her wet feet slipped out from under her the moment they touched the hard floor and she went down, her body making that distinct smacking sound of bare skin hitting tile. It hurt, pretty badly actually, yet Jessica barely noticed. Her eyes snapped back to the mirror, although from this angle she could no longer see the reflection.
It... it wasn't her! It hadn't been her face in the mirror!
Instead of the medium-length straight black hair with bright blue highlights and green eyes she had expected to see, the face had instead had deep brown eyes and brown, slightly curly long hair. It looked slightly older than hers but amazingly beautiful, not that Jessica really noticed that last part until later.
Who was it!?
The door suddenly burst open, making Jessica jump rather badly, and Kaylee entered the bathroom with a look of concern. Less than a second later Melody appeared, her safety protocols overriding Jessica's request for privacy.
"What happened!? Are you okay!?" both her roommate and the AI asked in unison. It would have been comical in any other circumstance, but Jessica felt far from laughing.
"Th-the mirror! Sh-she's in the mirror!" Jessica said before she could stop herself.
"Who... what?" Kaylee asked, adding a look of confusion to her already concerned face.
"Are you alright?" Melody asked. "Should I run a health scan? Do you need medical assistance?" Her voice was more serious than normal as her emergency programming shone through her personality profile.
"No, I... I'm fine. I mean I'm not hurt," Jessica said, adrenaline still coursing through her. "But the mirror. Kaylee, look in the mirror--she was in the mirror."
Kaylee's face slowly began to add fear to its mix of emotions, but she slowly walked over to the mirror and looked at it.
"I.... only see myself," Kaylee said slowly. "Jessica, are you sure you are okay? You came back way early and now this. Did... did something happen.... at the house?"
While Jessica was a definite skeptic, Kaylee was a firm believer in ghosts and spirits, and when she occasionally was a guest on Jessica's show, she was the one who often offered the supernatural outlook on things.
It was because of this that Jessica hesitated in her response. If she told Kaylee what she had seen... what she thought she had seen, her roommate would latch on to the idea and wouldn't budge.
"I... I'm sorry. I guess that house just creeped me out a bit more than I thought," Jessica said. "It was... spooky to say the least."
She slowly stood, gasping in pain as both her hip and elbow reminded her she'd landed on them, but she'd worry about that later. First, she would look in the mirror, and if she saw the other face again she would tell Kaylee everything. Well, first she would likely scream again and run out of the bathroom butt naked, but then she would tell her everything.
She could feel Kaylee and Melody's eyes on her as she slowly looked in the mirror--well, not really eyes in the AI's case, but it felt the same.
Nothing.
Well, nothing but the wet black-haired girl she should have seen the first time.
"Jessica? Are you alright?" Kaylee said, touching her shoulder.
Jessica jumped again, her head turning to look at Kaylee almost frighteningly fast. Kaylee felt a shiver of fear flow through her but managed not to show it. Jessica just stared at her for an unnervingly long moment, then finally spoke.
"I... I'm sorry. I'm okay. Just... just jumpy, I guess," Jessica said.
Kaylee raised an eyebrow.
"Really," Jessica said. "I'm fine. Sorry for scaring you."
"Are you sure?" Kaylee asked.
"Yes. I just need a good night's sleep, that's all."
Kaylee looked at her for another long moment.
"I still feel like there's something you're not telling me," Kaylee said.
"I promise I'm okay--ow!" Jessica yelped as she took a step. The adrenaline was starting to leave her system, and in its absence the pain in her elbow and hip started to throb.
"Okay, you're not alright," Kaylee said.
"Agreed," Melody chimed in. "I can notify EMT if you--"
"No," Jessica said. "I just need some ice, maybe."
Realizing she was still naked, Jessica reached for her towel on the floor but winced.
"Let me help," Kaylee said, quickly grabbing a fresh towel from the sink cabinet.
A few moments later, hair wrapped in the towel, Jessica was helped to the couch by her roommate. In moments her hair and body would be dry thanks to the towels' material. She remembered her grandmother telling her stories of having to wait much longer for her hair to dry. How they lived back then she would never understand.
"Sit here and I'll get you some underwear," Kaylee said, "and then some ice."
"You don't have to--" Jessica's voice cut off as she sucked in a breath. She had tried to move in a way her hip disagreed with.
"Don't try to be Supergirl," Kaylee scolded. "Let someone help you for once."
Jessica blushed but nodded. Of the two, she tended to be the more responsible and tended to help Kaylee quite often with some random thing or another. The role reversal was weird.
Kaylee returned in a few minutes with a matching set of purple bra and panties of Jessica's.
Jessica blushed harder. "Hey, those are..."
"What?" Kaylee said with a teasing grin. "Your sexy pair? So what? You like them, so wear them. Who cares if it's just us."
Jessica was going to reply and tell her to put them back, but she chose not to. Kaylee was helping her after all.
"Okay," Jessica said, "give them here and I'll--shit!"
She'd reached with the arm she'd landed on.
"Will you sit still?" Kaylee said. "I can get them on you."
Jessica felt her heart jump. Kaylee was going to... put on her panties for her? She opened her mouth to protest but found the words wouldn't come. Instead, a rush of nervous arousal fluttered through her as she remembered what she had fantasized about in the shower less than ten minutes ago.
"Sit back," Kaylee said, and Jessica found herself obeying.
Slowly, Kaylee slid the panties past Jessica's feet and up her legs, the touch of the soft fabric and her roommate's warm fingers making her shiver. Kaylee looked up at her questioningly.
"Just a bit chilly from the shower," Jessica lied.
Kaylee shrugged and slid the panties the rest of the way up. She had done nothing to make the action sensual in any way, yet still Jessica found herself hoping that any wetness Kaylee may have noticed would be blamed on the fact she had just gotten out of the shower.
The bra was no better. Kaylee helped Jessica put it on, and Jessica shivered again as it cupped her breasts. Thankfully it covered her hardening nipples. Close as they were, Jessica could feel Kaylee's warmth, and suddenly she wanted to be held by the other woman. Held, and kissed, and touched, and...
What the fuck was she thinking? Jessica shook her head to clear her thoughts. Kaylee was her roommate and friend. It was bad enough she'd just gotten off fantasizing about her, and here she was doing it again.
"There," Kaylee said, oblivious to Jessica's inner turmoil. "Now let me get you something for your elbow."
The cold of the ice pack helped clear Jessica's head, and she was finally able to push the sensual thoughts out of her mind. The moment her head cleared, she was thinking of the face in the mirror.
"I'm feeling much better, Kaylee," she said a moment later. "Thank you. I am going to go lie down for a while. And no, I did not hit my head," she added, reading the question on Kaylee's face before she even asked it.
"Well, okay," Kaylee said. "Call if you need anything."
"Thanks, I will."
Jessica walked to her room, limping slightly but able to walk on her own.
"Melody," Jessica called once inside. She let the towel fall from her hair.
"Hey Jessica," Melody said as she appeared. Her voice had returned to its normal cheerful tone. "What's up?"
"I need you to conduct a search and download for me," Jessica said, then added, "And I want you to delete your memory about what I'm about to ask for."
"Oooo, looking up something kinky, are we?" Melody said, grinning. "You know, if you're in need of some suggestions I could recommend some of my favorite porn sites."
"Melody!" Jessica said, surprised at the AI's response. "No, it's not that. Wow, you really are getting bad, aren't you."
"Come on, admit it," Melody said, playfully tilting her head. "You like me bad."
Jessica shook her head to clear away the sudden fluster she felt. Normally she would have laughed and simply corrected Melody, but this time she felt like blushing. Why? Well, because unlike normal, for some reason tonight Melody looked hot as hell. She didn't look any different than normal, but for some reason Jessica felt herself attracted to her.
"Just run the search, please," Jessica said. "Search and download to my personal holo anything you can find on ghost and/or spirit interactions with people. Specifically how they communicate with the living."
Melody raised an eyebrow, curious. "I would ask why you are looking that kind of thing up, but as I'm gonna forget in a moment, I guess it doesn't matter. I'll see what I can find. Just a minute."
Melody's eyes looked away from Jessica and slightly upward, beginning to flutter just slightly as she plunged into the sea of information that was the web. In less than a minute she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, letting it out in a way that sounded just a bit too much like a moan of pleasure.
"Ah, the sweet tingle of a knowledge download," Melody said, grinning. "It almost kinda turns me on." She waved her hand and Jessica's wrist band beeped to notify her of the transfer.
"Thank you, Melody," Jessica said, ignoring the comment.
"For what?" the AI replied as the last part of Jessica's order took effect.
"For coming to see me so quickly," Jessica said.
"Oh. Well, what can I help with?"
"Just wanted you to place your sensors in my room on private tonight, that's all."
"Ooo, in the mood for some privacy, huh?" Melody said with a grin and a wink.
"That's not--" Jessica began.
"No need to explain," Melody said quickly. "I'll leave you to it."
She vanished before Jessica could reply.
Jessica sighed but couldn't help grinning. No matter how much she liked to tease her, Melody always made her smile. She moved over to her bed and sat cross-legged on the covers.
"Now, let's see if we can figure out an explanation for what the hell is going on with me."
Tapping her wrist, she motioned with her hands to arrange the projected screens, then began reading.
For almost an hour Jessica read posts and articles about ghosts, spirits, and all things supernatural. It wasn't long before she realized just how difficult finding her answer would be. The problem was not a lack of information but rather a plethora of conflicting information. Ghosts could speak verbally, one article insisted. No, they could only move things, another said. Still another claimed that only family of the spirits could hear them and only with the help of a medium. On and on it went, and every time she thought she was getting somewhere, another article contradicted it.
Rubbing her eyes, Jessica let out a sigh of frustration and let herself flop backwards on the bed to think for a moment. This wasn't working. She needed a way to narrow her search. She yawned, then sat up. Nope. No drifting off. For one thing she wanted answers now, and for another she was pretty sure she would have nightmares if she couldn't get this whole thing settled in her mind.
Her mind drifted to thoughts of her favorite weakness and she got up, quickly throwing on her robe so as not to walk around in her underwear. Not that her roommate would really mind, but Melody was sure to make a flirty comment and she would rather her not just now.
She left her room and headed for the kitchen, thoughts of her favorite indulgence filling her mind. As she passed the living room she heard the TV still on and her roommate's laughter. Jessica glanced at what she was watching. An old anime, of course--this one seemed to be about cooking? A rather busty woman was tasting what looked like fried rice; it looked quite real for a drawing, and the moment it touched her mouth she began to moan, very sensually. Jessica raised an eyebrow. What on earth was she watching? Then she heard another voice laughing and noticed that Melody was sitting next to Kaylee, apparently watching the show as well. The two were meant for each other, Jessica thought, shaking her head and entering the kitchen.
In moments her indulgence was ready. Dark chocolate hot cocoa. She hesitated for just a second, then added the special ingredient. Strawberry rum. She took a long drink and gave a little moan of enjoyment. She thought for a moment to moan like the character in the anime as a joke to mess with her roommate, but decided against it. Instead she took another sip and started back towards her room. On the couch, Kaylee stretched and moaned in an unintentionally sensual way. Arousal had suddenly flooded Jessica upon hearing the sound and she missed a step, slightly spilling her cocoa. Cursing under her breath as the hot liquid landed on her thumb, she managed to switch hands and not spill anything further, sucking the hot liquid off her fingers. There it was again! That strange arousal seemingly out of nowhere. What was going on? It was completely out of character, nothing like her at all.
Jessica started, nearly spilling the drink again, as a thought nearly exploded into her mind.
It wasn't like her!
That was it!
Fear filled her, but also excitement at a possible breakthrough.
Walking back to her room, apparently unnoticed, Jessica let her robe slip off and sat back on the bed, instantly bringing her holo screens back up. This time narrowing the search to ghost and spirit influence. Could exposure to a ghost somehow change one's personality traits? Halfway down an article and almost ninety minutes after starting her research, she found something. A woman claiming to have encountered a ghost began to give details that were very similar to what Jessica had experienced. Strange occurrences and odd impressions of feeling and emotion. Even an occasional physical force. Jessica shuddered as she remembered how easily the ghost had held her down, but it was the next part that started to really scare her. The woman had been fascinated by her interactions with the ghost and had decided to go back to the location she had encountered it.
On her third visit, the spirit had attached itself to her.
Jessica's eyes widened and she began to read faster. The woman had not noticed at first, but subtle changes in her own behavior began to become apparent. They started small but soon became very obvious. She went from hating certain foods to loving them. She started smoking and began drinking beer and whiskey rather than her old preference of wine. She even began understanding a different language. She did not believe she had been possessed, as she was still in control of her thoughts and body, but her desires were definitely being influenced.
And that was it!? Jessica read on almost frantically as the article suddenly shifted perspectives to a psychological analysis of what the woman had experienced and if it was a mental health issue or indeed something supernatural. The problem was, it never said what happened to the woman and if the spirit had ever left her.
With a slightly shaking hand Jessica took another sip of her drink. Was this what was happening to her? No, it couldn't be. But then again.....
Fighting down fear, Jessica recounted the events of the evening since getting home. She had definitely been acting different, mainly when it came to Kaylee, but she'd even been reacting to Melody differently. Plus she had just for a moment seen the face of a different woman in the mirror. It had not been evil or horrible looking; in fact it had been very beautiful, but it had not been hers. Yet Jessica had recovered so quickly from the idea, as though it had not been crazy at all to see the face, but almost normal. She should have been freaking out still, but instead she had calmed down and started researching like it was just some interesting mystery and not something terrifying.
Even now as terror tried to force its way into her mind, it was almost being pushed back by an unnatural calm. Something..... or someone was influencing her. Had.... had the spirit from the manor attached itself to her?
The same war of terror and calm happened again, but this time Jessica was grateful for it. Panicking would do her no good. She needed to figure out how to fix this. If there was a ghost attached to her, then maybe..... maybe she could try to communicate with it.
"Are.... are you there?" Jessica asked after a long pause. "Can you hear me?"
Immediately she felt silly and started to blush even though there was no one around. She listened for a long moment, but there was nothing. No words, no feeling or impressions as in the house. Maybe she needed to get the spirit's attention somehow. She thought for a moment. What had happened when she first encountered it in the manor? She had walked into the room, began shining light around, and then she'd ended up on the bed. And that's when she'd felt the weight... and then the arousal. She'd felt turned on herself, but she'd also sensed it from the ghost. It had been turned on by her. The spirit must have found her attractive. Maybe, if it was indeed with her in the apartment, she could get its attention. Slowly, she opened her robe.
She waited.
Nothing.
She let it fall away from her completely.
Still nothing.
"Come on," Jessica said. "You want me to dance for you next? You here or what?"
Suddenly an idea came to her. The one thing she had forgotten to add from the situation in the house. Taking a deep breath, Jessica turned out the light.
Darkness filled the room.
Jessica sat still, doing her best not to lose her nerve; she was pretty sure she was shaking a bit. Slowly she began to feel something. Beyond the arousal she felt something else, something that while she couldn't say why, she knew it wasn't coming from her own mind.
Control.
No, loss of control.
Excitement.
Helpless.
Arousal.
Worry.
Of being discovered?
Was the spirit trying to hide? Somehow that felt right. Almost like it was....... frightened?
"It's okay," Jessica said. "You don't need to be frightened. I just need to talk to you. Are you.... attached to me?"
There was a long pause.
Surprise.
Consideration.
Understanding.
Agreement.
"Well, could you not?" Jessica said. "I don't really like having you....... influencing me."
Disappointment, then questioning.
"Influencing? Yes, you are influencing me," Jessica said. "Did you not know that? You're making me feel..... well, not like myself might be the best way to put it."
Surprised realization.
Apology.
Jessica suddenly felt the strangest feeling of her life. There was a sudden tension, a pulling almost. Like a force was pulling on her soul. No, pulling away from her soul? Then there was a sudden reversal, like the snapping of a giant rubber band, and Jessica was suddenly shoved from her sitting position to flat on her back on the bed.
"What the fuck was that!?" Jessica said in a near panic. At the same time she got a distinct impression that the spirit had said basically the same thing, with the same sense of fear.
Confusion mingled with that touch of fear.
"Did... did you just try to leave?"
Confirmation.
"But you couldn't, could you?"
Confirmation and again that fear.
"You...... you really don't know what's happening either, do you," Jessica said. As the sense of confirmation came again, Jessica found herself rather unexpectedly feeling bad for the spirit. It seemed as though it had not actually intended to attach itself to her and they might actually be in this strange situation together. What was worse, it seemed that it was not able to leave. But if that was the case, what the fuck was she supposed to do now!?
"Are you..... going to try to hurt me?" Jessica asked.
Appalled.
Denial.
Reassurance.
"Sorry, but you can understand why I would ask," Jessica said. "All I know about actual ghosts is from movies, and those ghosts are never friendly."
Discomfort.
"You... you don't like to be called a ghost? Is spirit better?"
Hesitant acceptance.
A feeling of inquiring, and this time with a bit more specificity.
"What's a movie? Well.... how can I explain this..... a story. Kinda like a book or a play, yeah like a play but different."
Acceptance and a sense of thanks.
Jessica paused for a moment. The last few exchanges seemed clearer, less feeling and closer to thoughts, almost words. Was she getting better at communicating with the spirit? If so, maybe she could actually get to the point of talking to it. That would make things easier and it might help them figure out how to fix this.
"Hey Jessica, you awake?" a voice called as light suddenly spilled into the room.
Letting out a yelp, Jessica jumped and felt the spirit do the same.
Kaylee yelped too.
"Fuck! Why are the lights off? You scared the shit out of me screaming in the dark like that!" Kaylee said.
Jessica shouldn't have been surprised. She had forgotten to lock the door, and being close roommates they often entered each other's rooms without knocking unless the door was locked.
"Sorry," Jessica said, reaching and turning the lights back on. "I was.... I mean....."
Her words trailed off.
"Are you okay?" Kaylee said. "You look different somehow."
Jessica felt a flutter of butterflies in her lower stomach heading due south. "Quit it," she said under her breath to both the spirit and her pussy, trying not to move her lips too much.
"I was just coming to say good night and seriously.... are you okay? You're red as a rose," Kaylee said.
"I.... I'm fine. I just..." Jessica started to say.
"You're not catching a cold or something, are you?" Kaylee said, walking forward and sitting next to Jessica on the side of the bed.
"It's okay, I'm not--" Jessica said, then cut off as Kaylee placed the back of her hand on her forehead. The touch excited her and her breath caught. She felt her cheeks growing even warmer.
"Your forehead is not hot...." Kaylee said, then moved her hand to her roommate's cheek. "But your cheeks are on fire. Jessica, what's wrong?"
The second touch made her blush even more as the butterflies settled in her pussy and began their lovely dance.
"Nothing... I....." Jessica began, then looked into Kaylee's eyes. Bad idea. She was suddenly drowning in them. It was like the first time she had looked into the eyes of her high school crush years ago just before they kissed for the first time. The world seemed to fade and suddenly she desperately wanted to feel the touch of Kaylee's lips on her own. Jessica's heart pounded. Kaylee was moving closer. No, Jessica was moving closer!!
Kaylee's eyebrows pulled together slightly as she noticed. "Jessica? Jessica, are you sure you.... are.... okay...."
At the last moment Kaylee's eyes widened as realization filled her, but she did not pull away.
Their lips met.
The kiss was indescribable. Soft. So soft. And warm and--
Their lips opened and Jessica gasped as their tongues met. Lightly at first, like a gentle breeze, then growing into a full wind of sudden passion. The warmth in Jessica's pussy became a blazing fire. It felt amazing. It felt right. It felt--
What on earth was she doing!!?
With a start Jessica pulled back, ending the kiss abruptly.
"I-I-I, I'm sorry!" Jessica sputtered. "I didn't mean to, I mean I shouldn't have--"
"No-no, I'm sorry!" Kaylee said, sounding very flustered. "I didn't know you, I mean I didn't think you wanted to... I should go!"
Standing, Kaylee made a beeline for the door. "Ireallyhopeyouarenotgettingsicksleepwellgoodnight!!" she said before practically fleeing the room.
"Fuck me," Jessica said, flopping back on the bed. She reached over and turned out the lights. "Thanks a lot, spirit. You had to go and make things weird with my roommate."
Confusion and questioning.
"No, she's not my lover, we just... just live together, that's all," Jessica said.
Apology and embarrassment.
"You really find her that attractive? I mean, you must because I never really thought about her in that way."
Surprise.
"Well, sure she is cute and all, but I like guys. It's only because of you that I'm getting so turned on by her. Even if that kiss was amazing."
Jessica shook her head. "No. No, that's you, not me. I need to go apologize to Kaylee. And no interference, spirit, please. This will be awkward enough without you getting me all turned on again."
Without waiting for a reply Jessica turned the lights back on and got up, putting her robe back on as she left her room.
The apartment lights were dimmed, but Jessica was sure Kaylee had not fallen asleep that fast. She knocked on her roommate's door.
"Kaylee?" she asked. "Can I come in?"
"Sh-sure!" the reply came, sounding a bit off guard.
Great. She feels as awkward as I do, Jessica thought as she opened the door.
Kaylee was sitting in her bed with her lower body under her blankets. She had taken off her blouse but still had on a rather cute bra.
Jessica's eyes moved to her roommate's chest and she had to make an effort to look at her eyes instead.
"Quit it," Jessica said forcefully under her breath.
"Jessica?" Kaylee said, having not quite heard.
"Sorry. Just talking to myself," Jessica said. "Kaylee, I..... I wanted to say I'm sorry about before. I shouldn't have kissed you like that. I.... I don't know what came over me."
Kaylee's face turned a slight shade of red that Jessica had never seen. Typically Kaylee was not easily embarrassed. Jessica felt even worse. She must have really gotten to her.
There was a long pause, then Kaylee took a deep breath and spoke.
"Jessica..... why did you kiss me?" she asked. "I thought you didn't like girls like that."
"That's what I'm trying to say," Jessica said. "I don't know what came over me."
"But did you want to kiss me? You sure acted like you did. That was...... I mean, you seemed to enjoy it."
"Well I--"
"Because I enjoyed it. Very much in fact."
Seemingly getting some of her natural confidence back, Kaylee pulled the covers aside and got out of bed. The bra was all she had on.
Jessica couldn't help it. Her eyes instantly went to Kaylee's pussy. She dyed her hair!? A thin, neatly trimmed line of pink hair pointed to a beautiful pussy, petals dripping with arousal. It was the hottest thing Jessica had ever seen.
"K-Kaylee I--" Jessica tried to say. Sudden arousal consumed whatever she had been about to say. Kaylee was walking towards her.
"Jessica... I have never told you this, because I thought you only liked guys.... but I've had a crush on you since we met. You're beautiful...... and confident...... and hot."
With each pause Kaylee walked closer until she was just inches away. Jessica trembled. She had tried to take a step backwards but had been unable to move, yet now that Kaylee was this close, she no longer wanted to. She could feel the warmth emanating from her friend and it took only one look at her eyes to tell her how turned on she was.
She's going to kiss me, Jessica thought, and I want her to. No! The spirit wanted her to, not Jessica! But.... it had felt so amazing... and she was so turned on right now it almost hurt.... and Kaylee was so beautiful and--
Their lips met and thoughts left Jessica's mind as she felt Kaylee's arms slide gently around her.
Warm. So warm.
Jessica didn't know if it was herself or the spirit who had just felt that, but she didn't much care. Nor did she care any longer if the spirit had influenced her. It just felt so good. So... right.
Kaylee's arms suddenly left Jessica's waist but their lips never parted. She heard the movement of fabric--her eyes had closed during the kiss--and then she felt Kaylee's hands on the small of her back. Her bra suddenly loosened and was pulled gently away, then soft warmth bloomed in her chest as Kaylee embraced her again. The gentle pressing of their breasts together was a feeling like no other. A mix of warmth and kindredness mingled with her arousal and amplified it. She felt her nipples growing hard and pressing against the soft skin of her roommate's breasts while at the same time feeling the two points of pressure against her own.
Suddenly Jessica wanted to touch them, to feel the soft skin under her fingers. Opening her eyes she pulled back just slightly, her own breath gasping as well as that of her roommate's. Raising a trembling hand Jessica let her palm rest on Kaylee's nipple, her fingers gently grasping the soft breast. Kaylee gasped and exhaled with a moan.
"They're very AH! S-sensitive."
Jessica blushed harder and started to pull her hand away, but Kaylee's hand came up and gently held it in place.
"No... no don't stop," Kaylee almost pleaded, then she leaned forward and kissed Jessica's neck. It was Jessica's turn to moan as pleasurable chills suddenly ran through her neck and down her spine, settling in her pussy.
"Lay down," Jessica heard her voice say. Was that actually her? Did she care?
Before she could decide, Jessica felt Kaylee guide them backwards, then they were falling gently on the bed. Jessica leaned over Kaylee and kissed her again, moaning as she felt her roommate's hands begin to slip off her panties. Part of her was screaming, what are you doing!? Most of her didn't care. She had not fully realized how much she had missed sex since her breakup until just this moment. And this was sex, or was about to be. How it would differ she had no idea, but for now she wanted this... needed this.
Jessica let her body settle down on top of Kaylee, once again enjoying the amazing warmth. They continued to kiss and their passions continued to rise. Soon Jessica found herself at a loss of what to do next. Had she been with a man she would have slid him inside her and begun riding, hard with how turned on she was, but with a girl.....
"Here," Kaylee said. "Like this." Seeming to sense Jessica's plight. Jessica opened her eyes to find the room in total darkness. The lights had been turned off and as Kaylee didn't comment Jessica assumed she had shut them off. Not slowed by the darkness at all, Kaylee used her hands to guide Jessica's hips and legs. Soon, to Jessica's surprise, they were arranged in such a way that their pussies were rubbing together, more specifically their clits.
Pleasure flowed through Jessica's pussy and over the rest of her body, causing her to moan aloud. Beneath her Kaylee was breathing heavily, her own pleasure plainly evident.
"Ohhhh..... that feels so good," Kaylee suddenly said. "Wow! Hah--how are your fingers doing that? It feels like you're kissing my nipple. Oh fffuck. Don't stop. Keep going! Just Hah! Just like that!"
The thing was, Jessica's hands were helping her to stay in the right position. This was very new and she was on the verge of losing her balance. Her hands were most definitely not touching her roommate's breast. That meant it had to be......
Tingles filled her own breasts and what definitely felt like a lover's kiss began to move over her nipple. Kaylee was right--it felt amazing. Too amazing actually. Jessica moaned louder as a very powerful orgasm suddenly bloomed in her pussy. She had wanted to wait, as she had always only orgasmed once during sex, but she had not been able to help it. The pleasure had just been too much.
As the orgasm faded Jessica was surprised not to be filled with her normal post-climax wave of relaxation. Instead she continued to rub against Kaylee, her own pleasure running high, almost as though she had not actually climaxed yet.
"Oh fuck! Oh Jessica I'm gonna--" Kaylee suddenly said, then gasped.
Jessica smiled, fully enjoying the thought that she was about to make her roommate experience that earth-shaking pleasure she herself so loved.
Kaylee came. Hard. Her hips bucking against Jessica's as a sudden splash of wetness erupted between them. Kaylee had squirted, Jessica realized, and the realization sent her right over the edge again.
Jessica gasped as a second orgasm shot through her like lightning, but it felt like no orgasm she had ever felt. The pleasure that filled her was somehow not completely physical but instead she "felt" it in her own spirit. She also didn't feel her pussy contract in the typical waves of pleasure as she normally did when she orgasmed. Instead it was a more constant feeling. Like slowly submerging in a bath of liquid pleasure. Beneath her she was vaguely aware Kaylee was still coming as the two women reached new heights of pleasure together.
Then came the feeling Jessica had expected. Waves of mental release and sleepiness filled her simultaneously and she slowly lowered herself forward until her head was resting on Kaylee's soft breast. Suddenly sleep was taking her and she was losing her desire to fight against it.
So warm. Oh so warm.
Before she could stop herself, Jessica fell asleep.
Kaylee reached above her head and pressed the small sensor that would turn on the lamp on her nightstand. She still wasn't sure how Jessica had reached the sensor to turn the light out or, for that matter, how she had managed to kiss her breasts while she rode her. But she didn't really care. She had been fantasizing about what had just happened for years. She had developed a crush on Jessica so long ago but had pushed those feelings as she knew Jessica liked guys. But apparently she had made a very poor assumption.
Now Jessica lay on her chest seemingly asleep and Kaylee couldn't be happier.
She began stroking Jessica's hair as a warm sleepiness began to fill her. She knew she would likely be asleep soon as well. She lowered the light to a dim glow, knowing it would shut off when she dozed off. Smiling, she looked back at Jessica, continuing to stroke her beautiful hair.
Her beautiful brown hair.
Brown?
Half asleep, Kaylee squinted at her roommate's hair. It should be black, with that cute blue highlight, but in this light it seemed brown. Her mind was foggy with sleepiness as she tried to figure out what she was seeing.
"Jessica?" she said groggily. Sleep was winning.
Jessica's head turned and she looked up at Kaylee.
It wasn't Jessica.
The face wasn't quite right. Close, but the nose and eyebrows were a bit different. And the eyes were a deep brown, not green.
"Thank you," the woman laying on her chest said. "It's been so very long and that was oh so very lovely."
Kaylee knew she should be freaking out right now but instead she was falling asleep. Why was this not waking her back up? She should be scared enough to jump out of the bed but instead.....
"It's okay, honey. Sleep," the woman said, reaching her hand up and stroking the side of Kaylee's face.
The last thought Kaylee had before losing consciousness was how cold the hand felt.
So cold.
Oh so very, very cold.
