Mika groaned as he unlocked the door to his apartment, pulling his tie out and stumbling straight to the bed to fall face first on it. Another day, another failed interview. This one was so promising, too, on the third round of talks before they suddenly sprang him with the "we're actually going to fill the role inside of the company." "Fucking bullshit..." He mumbled into his pillow.
It had been like this for weeks, all for naught. A hundred applications sent, a dozen responded to, six leading him to more than a rejection, and none with a job to give. Mika had quit his job at Burger Bureaucracy to chase something more fulfilling, whatever that meant. At the time, his manager had laughed, saying he would see him back there soon enough. As much as he didn't want to probe him right, Mika was really running out of options.
He turned his head to the side, scanning the paper clenched in his grip. A warning notice from his landlord, telling him he needed to pay soon or be evicted. The other big reason why Mika was so desperate for work. If he couldn't find anything, he'd have to move out, probably back to his parents' place halfway across the country. And after all the shit they gave him for his choice of degree, too... he'd never hear the end of it. Was graphic design really that unwanted now? As much as he wanted to sulk, he tossed the paper away and pulled his phone out, choosing instead to half sulk, half scroll through the job listings.
"Already rejected, already rejected, already rejected..." Every ad was something he had seen before, and nothing that he hadn't already tried. Sort by new, the same thing, relistings for things he had already applied to. Everything that he could put his degree to already didn't want him, if they even decided to message him back at all. With a sigh, he expanded the search. If nothing for his degree, then something to survive off of until he could get one. Again, though, all the jobs had unreasonable requirements. Frustration building, Mika sat up, zooming past posting after posting until one popped up much smaller than the rest.
WANTED
Office (Toy)
Requirements: Physical work, creative work
Pay: Discussed during interview
Hours: Discussed during interview
Duties: Discussed during interview
For questions and to schedule an interview, please contact the BestLife HR department at (XXX) XXX-XXXX
It wasn't exactly the clearest ad he'd seen. He didn't even know what BestLife was. A toy company, maybe? That's all he could glean from the posting, at least. And the requirements made no sense, either. What did physical and creative work combine into? But Mika was desperate, pulling out his phone and dialing the number. It was already late, though, past six, so he wasn't expecting---
"Hello, this is BestLife human resources department." A voice spewed from the speaker. A woman's, husky and calm. "Are you calling about an employee or about the job posting?"
"Um, job posti---"
She cut him off before he finished answering. "Do you have a pen and paper with you? Or any way to get things down?" No sooner than he got one out did she start reciting the thing she needed copied. An email address. "Email your resume here. Are you open to an interview tomorrow, say around 10?"
He sat up straighter. "Y-yeah. Yeah! That's perfect, actually."
"Great. I'll send the address once you send your resume. We'll see you then." The speaker clicked as she hung up, leaving Mika no less confused that when the call started. But did that really matter? This was the furthest he had gotten in all of his job hunting. Whatever this position was, he would give it a fair shake. Surely, a toy company wouldn't be too bad to work at.
Right?
........
He ended up spending all night anxious for the meeting, showing up thirty minutes early. The BestLife tower was in one of the richest spots in town, nothing but sharp dresses and pressed suits on the sidewalks. Mika felt really self-conscious about it, hopping off the bus in his wrinkled polo and khakis, but nobody's eyes even bothered to grace him.
The inside of the building was just as grand. A massive chandelier hung over the lobby, plush carpets and couches scattered around. The social areas were all empty, though, save for a line stretching halfway across the room to a coffee shop in the corner. Mika squeezed past them, looking for the elevator, which he found near the empty reception desk. A woman was already standing in front of it when he approached, flipping through a newspaper. Mika rocked on his feet, trying and failing to look anywhere else but her. Jet black hair swept back in a tight bun, a pencil sticking through it to keep it in place. Sharp brown eyes behind square glasses, locked on the pages before her. She looked older than him, wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and lips, but nothing too prominent. She was taller than him, too, at least in her heels. Granted, Mika wasn't the tallest, a few inches shy of 6 feet, but the energy she was giving off made it feel as though she were towering over him. Her short pencil skirt and suit were dark gray, tight, hugging the curves of her large breasts and ass. It took all the power he could muster not to stare.
The elevator finally dinged, both stepping on. "Floor?" Mika asked, hand hovering over the buttons.
"35th." She said, not looking up from her paper.
"Oh, same as me. I've got an interview up there in thirty minutes."
That one got her full attention. "Mmm. What a coincidence." The woman rolled her newspaper up, sticking her hand out. "Harlowe Lynn, Human Resources for BestLife. We spoke on the phone. I'll be the one conducting your interview today."
"Oh, hello!" He took her hand, concentrating too much on giving it a firm shake. "I hope I do well."
"You certainly give a good first impression." Though her lips told him that, her eyes said something else. Something intense, scanning him closely. Mika suddenly went on edge, realizing this was part of the interview now. "Now, do you mind pushing the button so we can actually go up? I hardly think this elevator is a comfortable place to do this."
The trip up was longer than any elevator ride Mika had taken. Steel walls opened up to glass, revealing a rising view of the entire city behind it. "Only the best workplace for a business like this," Ms. Lynn hummed, noticing his awe. The door behind them slid open, the woman leaving with Mika right behind. "Since you're here so early, we can just get started."
"Sounds good," Mika said, catching the eye of the receptionist, who blushed and looked away. The office was massive, cubicles scattered across the center of the space, the din of calls and keyboards echoing around. Lots of people noticed Mika as he walked past, curiosity and something else aimed his way.
Ms. Lynn guided him to a small office near the break room, taking a seat at the desk and gesturing for Mika to take the one on the other side. "How did you get here, by the way?" She asked, tapping at her keyboard.
"The bus. The... 31? If that matters?"
"It doesn't. Is it preference or do you just not have a car?"
"No car. I'm kinda... never mind, not important."
"Doesn't. Have. A. Car." She said as she typed into a document he couldn't see. "We'll have to change that if you get hired. At least a company car, until you can get one of your own."
"That'd be nice." He responded half-heartedly. It wasn't like Mika had anywhere to go besides work. Maybe she just didn't want him seen coming off the bus around here. "I have to say, this place is a lot different from what I'm used to."
"Yes, yes, I read your resume." She shifted her mouse, lips pursed. "College until two years ago, majoring in the arts, took a job in fast food to pay your tuition. Been working as a... freelance graphic designer since." Her eyes moved to him, giving him a once over. "Frankly, I'm surprised you didn't get scared away from applying, given your work history. Usually I see a lot of people with more relative degrees, even if this position doesn't call for it."
"What... do you mean?"
Ms. Lynn raised an eyebrow. "You do know what BestLife is, right? Or did you really just apply to every job you could?"
Mika rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, the job posting made it sound like a toy company... I figured an artist could be useful to have around, I don't know."
A long sigh, the HR lady, resting her chin on her hand. "I suppose that's my fault. We have to dance around what this position is since it'd get taken down if we were more direct with it, I didn't even think to properly say what this place is. You were the first person without any experience in the field to apply, so I assumed you knew what we were wanting."
In Mika's confusion, she stood up, walking over to the window, opening the blinds. "BestLife is a firm. We manage hedge funds for some of the wealthiest people in the world to get even more wealthy. That happens, we get a cut, the world keeps turning. Very much not a toy company."
"... oh." The interviewee stood up, trying not to meet her eyes. "Guess I should just go, huh?"
"No, no. Like I said, this position isn't one that needs a fitting degree. I've already had to pass on dozens of applicants that thought this was something more. If anything, you've already made it further than anyone else." Ms. Lynn waved him over, Mika still processing why a place like this would want someone like him. Now that he was out of sight, everyone seemed to be working diligently, on calls or staring at their computers with extreme focus. "As you can see, we run a very tight ship. Our clients are high paying, high needs, and are very vocal about their wants. The atmosphere that leaves us with is high stress, and too much of that for too long tanks our productivity. And that's where the role you're interviewing for comes in."
The blinds snapped shut before he was guided back to his seat. Ms. Lynn chose to lean on her desk right beside him. "You're here," She put a hand on his face, guiding him by the cheek to look up at her. "Interviewing to be the office toy."
"Office... toy?"
"Exactly."
It didn't take long for Mika to piece together what kind of toy she meant. Ms. Lynn's hand trailed down, hooking on the first button of his shirt and pulling just hard enough to stretch the fabric. The emotion behind that intense stare of hers suddenly flipped. It wasn't the cold, determined office lady. It was hunger, need, something deeper that he hadn't even considered. He swallowed hard, crossing his arms over his lap. "I-I don't---"
"Leave now, if you want. I wouldn't blame you. Otherwise, I'll be continuing this interview." With one hand, she started undoing his shirt buttons. Slowly. Carefully. Her eyes never left his once. "Do you have any romantic partners? Sexual partners?"
"No, but---"
"For the latter, do you have a preference? Genitalia-wise?"
"I don't... aren't these questions a bit---"
"We already dropped the act, Mr. Carden. These questions are what we need to know." She finished with the buttons, helping him pull his shirt off and placing it on the desk. "Give an answer, please."
He took a deep breath, trying to ignore that her hands were now working to get his pants off. "I've, um, worked with both before. It shouldn't be an issue."
"Good. That's probably the most important question of today. Means we won't have to look for a second one." Pulling his khakis to his ankles, Ms. Lynn smirked, looking at the bulge against his briefs. "Excited, are we? I don't blame you. Stand up for me and step out of your underwear, please."
He did as he was told, pulling his underwear down and standing there, body bare and rigid in every way. His hands were kept folded over his crotch, blush blooming across his skin the longer she stared. "Your body's pretty impressive." She hummed, walking around him. "Not too muscular, not too thin, not too big. You exercise?"
"I've been meaning to."
"This will definitely help in that regard." He flinched as her hands ran along his arms. "Not much hair either, hmm?"
"I-It just doesn't grow for me." He stammered as she grabbed his wrists, prying them away and exposing his erection.
"Something certainly does grow for you." Before Mika could react, her hand wrapped around his dick, giving it a few pumps and coming away slick. "This wet already?"
"Sorry, I---"
"Don't apologize. It'll be easier if you're already like this. Come, have a seat."
Not even that seat was normal. She led him over to the chair he had been in, sitting in it first and drawing him onto her lap. Ms. Lynn's breasts were pressed against her back, yet he could barely pay it any mind with where her hands were. One back to pumping, the other rubbing his inner thigh. "Do you have any questions for me?" She asked, breath hot on the back of his neck.
"W-where did you... why is this...?" Mika sucked in air. He'd gotten handjobs before, but none that felt like this. "Why does this r-role exist?"
"Corporate had other ideas at first. Pizza parties, ping pong table, the sort. Nothing really stuck until we implemented this one." She explained, undeterred by the actions of her hands and the sounds they were getting out of him. "Actually, I was the first. This whole program was my idea, and I acted as proof of concept. Between my duties as human resources, I would do this to help wherever I could. Sometimes during my duties, as well. The libidos in this office are out of control at times. It worked well enough, but I was too rigid to relieve our coworkers the way they wanted to be relieved. I much prefer being the one in control. Open your mouth and look back, please."
He did as he was told, moans muffled as Ms. Lynn pressed her lips against his. They were soft, like kissing velvet, and her tongue explored his mouth while he could barely form the thoughts to reciprocate. Was this even real? "We had another before you, actually." She said as she finally pulled back, lipstick now smudged. "You'll meet him soon enough, if you do decide to join us. He was incredible at what he did and excited about his work. But after a few months, we realized he actually understood the work that was going on here fairly well, and made adjustments to some major portfolios under our noses that turned out positive. Now he's managing his own funds for some of our top clients. But corporate said we couldn't pay him for two roles, and that we needed someone else to fill one. Preferably, one that doesn't have the skillset to make sense of our work again."
Ms. Lynn's other hand, the one that had been massaging Mika's thigh, moved in. Up and down the shaft with the other one, collecting the copious amount of precum dripping from the tip, before trailing further down between his legs. "I know you said you worked with both, but," Her slicked fingers rubbed along his taint, pressing just hard enough to feel it in his core. "Have you taken anything in there?"
"O-Once or... fuck, once or twice..." Mika managed, eyes clenching shut. He had only been stimulated for a few minutes, yet he was already building up to an explosion. "Please, I'm... f-fuck..."
"Good boy, asking permission." She adjusted him in her lap, pumping his cock faster and lining her fingers up with his asshole. The slick and the air conditioning was almost unbearable cold, but it didn't stop Mika from trying to grind against her touch and get them in there. "Deep breath for me."
He inhaled, the air escaping with the gasp that came from two fingers sliding into his asshole. Ms. Lynn gave him no rest, attacking his prostate and the glans of his cock at the same time. "Ms... H-Harlowe, I'm---"
Her teeth scraped his earlobe, hissing, "Go on. Cum for me."
A guttural cry escaped his throat as he was pushed over the climax, back arching. Ropes of white spewed across her desk, landing on all the papers in their path and even reaching Ms. Lynn's chair. She didn't stop her assault at all the whole time; only once the orgasm ran dry and weak did she finally release him, fingers sliding out of his asshole with a wet pop. "H-hah... hah..." Mika panted, giving into the haze in his mind as she slid out from under him, letting him rest properly on the seat.
"Not bad. You might need to last longer for some of the people in the office, but it's something we can fix. Now, onto pay," Ms. Lynn returned to her seat, licking her fingers clean as she collected the freshly stained papers. "We have a three thousand dollar signing bonus up front, just to assuage any doubts. As for salary, due to the importance of your role, it's been decided that you'll be receiving as much as the employees on the floor."
"A-As much?" He asked, barely gathering himself enough to listen. After all of that, he wasn't sure he even wanted the job. Sure, that was the most incredible orgasm he had ever had, but to do that who knew how many times a day... could he even survive that?"
"Yes, as much. Naturally, you won't be getting any bonuses from the funds, so it's still less than everyone else, but that still comes out to..." She clicked her tongue, tossing the soaked documents in the trash. "Two hundred thousand a year, give or take performance bonuses. Do you think that's suitable?"
........
"Everyone, can I have your attention!" Ms. Lynn called out over the cubicles, faces popping up over the cardboard walls. "I'd like to introduce our newest hire, Mika, who'll be the office toy from now on."
The young man gave a small wave, trembling slightly. Though he had gotten dressed and cleaned up, with all their eyes on him, all equally as hungry as Ms. Lynn's gaze was, it felt like he may as well have been. "It'll be a pleasure working with you all." He finally choked out, flinching when the HR lady put her hand on his back.
"He'll be starting tomorrow morning, so make sure to treat him well and go easy on him. We don't need a repeat with what happened to Loren." Her eyes narrowed, aimed at someone in the back. "Understood?"
"Yes, ma'am!" The group called out, returning to their work with a few wandering eyes still on Mika. His cock twitched realizing what tomorrow would bring, surely soaking through his underwear again.
Whatever happened, life was certainly about to get more exciting.
