After seeing Sara and knowing she'd be at the beach near Manuel's Bar, Pedro texted Freya to see if she wanted to join him.

"Sure, what time are you planning to go?"

"After lunch, I've got some work to finish, so I think I'll leave around 2 p. m."

"Text me when you leave your home and pick me up at mine."

Pedro ended up running a little late, but they still reached the beach before 3 p. m. From the parking lot, he sent Sara a quick message: "Little one, I just parked the car. We've arrived."

"We just finished lunch. Had some problems, Soraia didn't accept payment."

"Lol, a good girl. We'll be at the parasol, pass by there please."

When Sara and her parents walked past the parasols, Pedro and Freya were still setting their things down. Sara pretended to be surprised and went straight to them, her parents following behind. The Mother and The Daughter Ch. 05 фото

"Hi Freya, Hi Pedro! Nice to meet you here. Let me introduce you to my parents."

She made the introductions; Pedro greeted Sofia with two kisses and shook her husband's hand. Then he hugged Sara, longer than what would be considered normal, but far too short for what they were both feeling.

Freya and Sofia fell into conversation almost immediately. Sara's father, who didn't speak English, excused himself politely and wandered off. Freya praised Sara, complimenting her kindness and confidence, and congratulated Sofia on how well she had raised her daughter. Sofia thanked her for being supportive during the last week alongside Pedro. The two women were genuinely enjoying each other's company.

Meanwhile, without thinking, Sara intertwined her fingers with Pedro's. It was a natural gesture for them, instinctive, and neither of them realized how risky it looked in front of her mother.

Pedro gently pulled Sara closer, slipped his arm over her shoulder, and kissed the top of her head.

"Pedro," Sofia said sharply, her voice cutting through the moment. "We need to talk."

Suddenly they snapped back into reality. Both Pedro and Sara panicked and stepped apart; the movement almost synchronized. Sofia noticed it, but her expression didn't harden; she didn't notice their complicity.

"I want to pay for our lunch," she said. "The waiter didn't give us the bill, and she wouldn't let us pay."

Pedro was still in panic mode, convinced for a split second that she caught what he and Sara had been doing. He lowered his head, covered his face with his hands, and only when he looked up again did he realize the misunderstanding. Relief washed over him, and he smiled.

"Sofia, Soraia did what I asked her to do. I've been her father's client for decades, my parents and my brother too."

"But you don't have to pay for my lunch," Sofia insisted.

"The first day I brought Sara here," he explained, "I didn't know if she'd want to come alone in the future, or if she'd have the patience to come with me. Maybe she'd prefer being away from old people like me."

Sara lightly slapped his arm, rolling her eyes.

"So, I asked Soraia to give her whatever she wanted and not charge her. I'll settle the bill later. I'll talk to Soraia, but this lunch is on me, to repay the patience and the company Sara gave me all week. She's a sweet young lady."

Pedro felt bad for this double meaning, knowing what he was omitting. He was lying to his best friend about something so important, something close to her heart.

Sofia understood what happened, hugged him, and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Pedro, once again, I'll go now. Sara, are you coming, or do you want to stay?"

"I'll stay, if you don't mind."

When Sofia was far enough away, Pedro leaned closer to Sara, lowering his voice.

"I've missed you, little one. When your mum spoke to me and we were standing together... I thought we were caught."

"Me too. When she said 'Pedro,' I saw my life flash before my eyes."

They both laughed, the tension dissolving instantly. Freya joined in, smiling at their relief just as Soraia arrived with the usual supply of Margaritas, the perfect cue for the afternoon to begin.

"Pedro, I assumed your relationship was still a secret and didn't rat you out," Soraia said. "You'll have to pay for my silence."

Pedro laughed, relieved she was joking. "Very funny. But thank you. I didn't expect they'd come here. We're still figuring out how to come clean to her parents."

Soraia winked, enjoying the moment. "Well, good luck with that, and Sara; you're still in time to get a good boyfriend, not this old fat guy" she said before heading off to another table.

"I loved your gift, Sara. You're crazy, you know that, right?"

"Am I?" She asked, giving him a mischievous smile. "I haven't seen your gift yet. Mum was always close. But I bet you can't beat me."

Pedro laughed softly, shaking his head. "Don't risk it, little one. What do you bet?"

"I bet my ass against yours!"

Sara nudged Pedro lightly, and her smile softened. The tension from earlier had dissolved into something lighter, a shared relief, a private joke, a sense that the afternoon might finally settle into something easy.

When Soraia left the three went to the water, Sara's idea, and when Pedro entered the ocean, he understood why, the water gave them the perfect cover to some underwater grabbing. They didn't want to abuse their temporary freedom, and Sara returned to her parents. They had arranged to meet the next day at 11 at the mall, for the girl's appointment at the hair salon.

Pedro and Freya stayed at the beach until late. They bumped into Sara a couple more times in the water, sharing quick moments of closeness before she eventually headed home. Only when the sun dipped low and the sky turned gold did Pedro and Freya finally pack up and leave.

"Pedro, will you keep me company for a drink later?" Freya asked as they walked into the car.

"I don't know, Freya..."

"Come on," she said with a playful nudge. "I won't take advantage of you, I swear. And Sara won't be mad or jealous."

He laughed. "It's not that. I actually have work to do. We can go, but I can't stay long. I didn't do anything this afternoon; I need to make up for the lost time tonight."

"You need to get out," she insisted gently. "Otherwise, you'll overthink everything. I already know you a little by now."

Pedro knew she was right. A drink, some fresh air, and a bit of normal conversation would help. And he could always return home early and work through the night; he was used to that rhythm.

He nodded. "Okay. One drink."

Freya smiled, satisfied. "Good. You'll feel better."

Pedro wasn't sure if she was right, but he hoped she was.

He was dining at home, alone, when he got a message from Sara, he reached for the phone and it was a picture, a close up of her pussy with the Womanizer he bought for her on her clit, "Best gift ever baby ????."

"I bought it to keep you company. Did you like the perfume too?" Pedro asked.

"Love it," Sara said, her smile bright and teasing. "But this I didn't expect. What a surprise."

"Guess I won the bet?"

"You did; my ass is yours. You already owned it."

"I'm glad you like it, little one. I'm going to have a drink later with Freya."

"I know ????" she replied, "she asked me for permission."

Pedro laughed softly at the message. It was so like Freya, bold, direct, and protective in her own way. And it was so like Sara to answer with that mix of humor and affection that always made him feel lighter.

"She is unbelievable, I have a lot of work to do, I won't be long," he answered.

"Have fun baby, tomorrow my parents will take me to the mall, meet you there?"

"I don't know... ????"

"See you tomorrow baby, just got a second orgasm with the toy you bought." And there was another close up of her pussy, now fully dripping.

"I wish I was there to drink it all, see you tomorrow my dear."

After a quick drink with Freya and her friends, Pedro worked until three in the morning and only woke up when the alarm went off at ten. Just enough time to get ready, pick-up Freya, and meet Sara at the mall. On the drive there, Freya casually dropped a surprise on him.

"The salon isn't in the mall. We're only picking up Sara there."

"It's not?" Pedro asked, confused. "So where is it?"

"I'll tell you on the way," she said, smiling. "The ones in the mall are tiny. I booked massages for the three of us."

Pedro let out a relieved laugh. "Good idea, Freya. My back really needs some work after last night's marathon."

They entered the mall and headed toward the meeting point, keeping things discreet in case Sara's parents were still around. But the moment Sara spotted them, she broke into a quick run and wrapped her arms around Pedro, giving him a big and loving kiss.

"I missed you so much, baby," she said, breathless with excitement. "Freya texted me that we were meeting here, but the salon isn't here?"

"It's a surprise," Freya said, reassuring her with a grin. "I promise we're all going to enjoy it. Did your parents leave already?"

"They didn't even park the car," Sara laughed. "They dropped me off and went straight to the beach."

They grabbed a coffee together, the three of them slipping easily into their usual rhythm, and soon they were on their way to the salon, about fifteen minutes from the mall. When they arrived, Freya went straight to the desk, confident and in her element.

A few minutes later, they were guided to the changing rooms and instructed to undress and wrap themselves in towels. The atmosphere was calm, quiet, and almost idyllic.

They stepped out and were led into a large room with three massage tables arranged in a star pattern, each one with a therapist waiting. The head of each table pointed toward the center, creating a shared space that felt both intimate and relaxing, the perfect setup for the three of them to unwind together.

"I think we all are at ease enough with each other, and I'm going to dismiss my towel," said Freya.

"I never had a massage before; I'll follow your lead Freya."

"I should have expected that..." Pedro said in resignation and dropped his towel too. All the scenes had aroused him, and he was already showing an erection, and he blushed and tried to cover it with his hands.

"Baby don't be shy," Sara said, hugging him.

"Little one, you're making it worse, I'll lay face down."

"That's no problem, Sir, we are professionals." Said one of the therapists.

They spent almost one hour there, relaxing and getting a well-deserved massage when one of the therapists said, "Now we'll leave you alone, when you're ready, ring the bell."

"Freya, I loved it, it felt so good," Sara said in appreciation, "what a great surprise."

"That was not the surprise, the surprise begins now." Freya said, smiling. "The room is hours, yours, to do what you want. I would love to watch you two, but if you need privacy I'll leave."

"Freya," Pedro intervened, "we don't have secrets with you, I'd love you to stay."

"Me too, dear friend."

The women moved away and began to whisper.

"What are you conspiring against me?"

The girls shared some giggling and Sara got to him and kissed him, "I need you, heat me! Eat me!"

Pedro didn't need an invite, he seated her on the table, kneeled, and immediately felt intoxicated by her scent, her sex was calling for him, he already knew her so well, and a mix of fingering and licking her brought her to a moaning orgasm. Sara stood up, turned around, bent over the table exposing her ass to him and pulled him close. By now he was hard as steel, and she pressed her butt into him. They started to make love, deep and intense love, with Sara bent he could see her back and her perfect butt, and every time he went back her pink butt hole blinked at him.

He grabbed one of many oil massage bottles available and let a glob drop into her small hole that he massaged lightly with his thumb. When she felt his thumb invading her secret spot, she redrew a little, a reflex, but he kept going, and she allowed the invasion. He slowly gained confidence as she felt at ease, relaxed the muscles and he was fucking her in both holes, with the hole thumb now entering her ass at the same pace as his cock in her pussy.

The view and the new activity were too much for him and his orgasm raised fast from his balls, he slowly withdrew his thumb from her ass, the sphincter got used to the small invader and stayed open. When it started to close, he pushed the thumb back. When he felt the imminent orgasm, he pulled the cock out and withdrew his thumb, leaving her ass with a small gape. Sara trembled, she enjoyed the novelty of his thumb on her ass, but she read all the events, the oil, the warming up and now he had his hard cock aimed at her open ass hole, she was afraid, she panicked but didn't want him to notice. She didn't want him to see her as a little girl and grabbed the table with both hands and relaxed; she was ready for it, for the discomfort or even the pain.

During all these events Freya was seated on the table to his left, legs apart, first row seat to the sex scene in front of her. Sara barely saw her, but Pedro took a look, more than once, and noticed that she was thin and small, but her clitoris was huge and sexy, almost inviting, and had at least two silent orgasms since he started to eat Sara out. Now she was expectant of his actions and started to build up another climax.

Pedro brushed his glans over her gaped hole, jerking and coming directly into her, but without penetrating her. He got almost every drop of semen inside her, and the few drops that landed outside he cleaned with his fingers and pushed it inside her ass, sealing the act with one kiss in each ass cheek and licked her from the perineum all the way up her ass crack as the gape closed, Freya loudly orgasmed beside them.

"You two just keep giving me surprises, again and again, that was unbelievable." Freya exclaimed between orgasmic gasps.

"Sara, you are incredible, little one, this was one of the most intense sex acts of my life, you keep giving me new sensations, I love you!" He declared.

"Pedro, you scared me," Sara said, hugging him, "I thought you were going to..."

He kissed her, cutting her words, "I'll never do it without getting your consent first, my love."

"Yes, but the bet... you won, 'my ass is yours' remember?" Sara said wide-eyed.

"That was a joke, little one, not literally."

"Humm humm," Freya coughed to get attention, "I'm still here."

"I know my friend, I'm not ignoring you, and I know Sara isn't too..." Pedro said hugging Sara from behind and facing Freya, her legs were still spread, exposed to them, pussy glistening from her self-pleasure.

"I don't want you to get the wrong impression from me, you're a very beautiful woman, and your presence is very erotic and adds excitement to our sex, but I'm only hers, Sara has all of me," he said almost ashamed, "I won't oppose if Sara and you want to be together, fuck, I would masturbate to that, but I'm all hers."

Sara didn't know what to say, what to do, she had never been with a woman, but Freya attracted her, and now, seeing her exposed she noticed what Pedro noticed before, that Clitoris was huge and hypnotizing.

But it was Freya that broke the silence, "my friends, I won't lie, that passed my mind, you're both gorgeous, you together are terribly sexy, I get wet just watching you. You letting me watch and masturbate is a way to be with you, I feel we are all connected." She stood up from the table and hugged them, a three-way hug, all naked smelling of sex.

"We'd better ring the bell before someone calls the police on us," Pedro joked, not wanting the moment to end but knowing the girls still had to get to the hairdresser.

More than an hour later, both Freya and Sara were finished, both stunning, and they headed back to the mall. Sara's parents were supposed to pick her up there, but they still had time for a bit of shopping. Sara wanted makeup, so they walked into the same store where Pedro had bought the perfume.

He didn't notice Paula at first, but she recognized him immediately and came over with a smile. The way Sara moved close to Pedro, the way they looked at each other, it was obvious. Whatever doubts Paula had about the age difference evaporated; seeing them together made everything make sense. They were simply... a cute couple.

"Hi, can I help you? Did your girlfriend like the perfume?" Paula asked.

"Hi, Paula. I think she loved it. Let me introduce you, this is Sara, my girlfriend, and Freya, a Swedish friend on vacation."

"I loved it," Sara said warmly. "I didn't know that perfume. It matches me, the summer, and my love state. Thank you."

Paula helped them choose makeup, guiding the girls through colors and textures. They left with two large bags of products, only a few which Pedro could identify, though some were mysteries he didn't dare ask about.

While waiting for Sara's parents, the three sat outside in the shade with soft drinks, trying to fight the afternoon heat.

"Sara told me about the second part of your gift," Freya said, grinning. "Be careful, she might exchange you for it."

Sara nudged Pedro with her shoulder, laughing, her eyes bright with affection. Pedro shook his head, pretending to be offended, but his smile gave him away.

"Never, it's only for when we are apart." Sara said decisively.

"Not only, I think we can get some use when we are together." He said with a smirk.

"Pedro," Freya intervened, "I talked to Sara after the massage and she was planning a totally different ending, and by her enthusiasm I bet she'll be saving that for another opportunity." Freya looked at Sara, who was blushing.

Pedro looked at her, "we are far away from exploring our limits, little one, I'll try to make you happy and to satisfy you the best I can, but I'm not 18 anymore... you have to take that into consideration." he said with a laugh.

"I know that old guy," Sara said, leaning in for a kiss. Pedro gently stopped her.

"Sara, your parents could already be in the mall."

As if on cue, her phone buzzed.

"They're here," she read. "They want me to meet them at the food court."

She stood up, gave each of them two quick kisses, and walked away, her ponytail bouncing behind her.

Pedro watched her disappear into the crowd, the sudden quiet settling between him and Freya.

"Pedro," Freya said softly, breaking the silence, "I never wanted to make you uncomfortable." Her voice wasn't teasing now; it carried sincerity, the fear of being misunderstood.

Pedro looked at her, the tension easing from his shoulders. Freya had been nothing but supportive, playful, yes, but never careless.

"I know," he said. "You didn't."

The afternoon heat pressed around them, but the moment felt calm, a pause before whatever came next.

It was Freya who felt uncomfortable; her eyes fixed on the floor. Pedro didn't feel the same way. He slipped an arm over her shoulder and gently pulled her closer.

"I'm not," he said softly, "and Sara isn't too. I just wanted you to know what to expect. That night we had a 'date', I was interested in you, Freya. You're beautiful, funny, intelligent... we could've had a good time, even if it wasn't romantic. You know what I mean."

"I do," she said; her voice was small but honest. "And I'm ashamed that sometimes I feel mad and jealous of Sara for spoiling our date. It's unconscious and selfish. I love you two. I'm proud to be your friend."

"We are too," Pedro replied. "You've been a good friend. And I just want you to be happy, and not disappointed with anything. God knows I wish we could use your help next week. We have a steep mountain to climb. I don't know if Sara is ready."

Freya looked at him with a seriousness he wasn't expecting. "She's more mature than she shows, Pedro..."

"That is not my concern," he interrupted gently. "I have a history with her parents. There's an age difference. She's going to college. I'm afraid this is too much for her. Maybe if I pull the band aid now, she'll be better."

Freya shook her head. "Don't be a quitter now. Sara told me you did the same with her mother, stepped back because you thought it was best for her. And you probably still think you did the right thing."

Pedro looked away, the weight of old choices and new fears settling on him. Freya's words weren't an accusation; they were a reminder. A warning.

The afternoon heat pressed around them, but the moment felt still, suspended, two friends sitting in the shade, trying to untangle the knots of love, loyalty, and fear.

The words hit him like a wave. He stared at her, stunned. How could she read him so well? He had believed he was doing the right thing for Sofia all those years ago... but was he? If he had fought for her, could things have been different? Could they have been happy?

Was he a quitter? A coward? Maybe.

Freya's face softened. "Sorry Pedro. I didn't mean to be so blunt."

"But you're right," he admitted quietly. "I'm always trying to make everyone happy, and I often forget about my own happiness. I'm not a coward... but with her mum, maybe I was. But I'll fight for Sara. I'll only back down if she doesn't love me. It's all so new, and next week when she's back to reality... I don't know what will happen. One thing I know: I'm in love. I've never felt anything like this. I will fight for my happiness."

Freya smiled. "You're always in the clouds when you're together. I've seen that. Let's eat something and then maybe go to the beach? Or do you need to be alone or work?"

"Let's eat. I have work, a lot of work, and I probably won't join you at the beach. But I can drop you off, and later I'll pass by for a late afternoon beer."

"That would be perfect, Pedro." She leaned in and kissed his cheek, warm and grateful.

They split up to get their food, agreeing to meet at a table afterward. Pedro waited in line, scanning the food court again. No sign of Sara. No sign of her parents. He found a table, sat down, and Freya joined him a few minutes later. Pedro was already seated, still scanning the food court for any sign of Sara or her parents. Nothing.

Freya sat down across from him, her expression soft, still carrying the weight of their earlier conversation.

"Freya?" Pedro asked, his voice softer now. "I don't want to lose contact with you. And Sara will eventually need your online shoulder if things evolve like I'm afraid they will. You're the only shared friend we have. And if, no, when things get messy, she'll need everyone. You and her grandmother are the only two people I trust."

"Her grandmother?" Freya blinked. "Didn't you mean her mother?"

He smiled, a sad, knowing smile. "No. Her grandmother. I'm hopeful she'll be Sara's best support. She loves me. She always supported Sofia when she wanted to be with me. Above all, she trusted me to do the best for her daughter... she even thought I was the best person for Sofia."

Freya stared at him, absorbing every word.

"Sofia... I don't know," Pedro continued. "She still loves me. More than I love her. She'll take this badly, like a betrayal. She still thinks I'm the shy boy who had his first kiss with her, the boy she took the innocence from, and she thinks that if she calls me, I'll go running."

He exhaled; the memory was heavy.

"When we met on Monday... She tried to kiss me. In front of Sara."

"Shut up!" Freya exclaimed, shocked. "Did Sara notice?"

"Yes. It was right in front of her. I did a good job, I turned my face, hugged Sofia, kissed her cheek instead."

Freya shook her head, stunned. "What was she thinking?"

Before Pedro could answer, both their phones buzzed, a WhatsApp notification.

Sara had started a group chat.

"You two look great together, I'm jealous."

Freya burst into laughter, covering her mouth. Pedro felt his heart soften instantly. Sara's message wasn't insecure; it was playful, affectionate, and trusting. She wasn't threatened by Freya. She wasn't threatened by anyone. She was simply... in love.

Freya looked at Pedro again; her expression was gentler now.

"You know," she said quietly, "I didn't want to make you uncomfortable earlier."

But Pedro could see it clearly now; it wasn't him who had been uncomfortable. It was her. The honesty, the vulnerability, the fear of crossing a line... it had all been hers. He reached out, placed a hand on her shoulder, and pulled her into a side hug.

"I'm not uncomfortable," he said. "And Sara isn't either. I just wanted you to know what to expect."

Freya nodded, her eyes softening.

"Good," she whispered.

The three of them, Pedro, Sara, and Freya, were tangled in something rare. Something fragile. Something beautiful.

They both instinctively started looking around the food court, turning their heads left and right, trying to catch even a glimpse of her, but the reflections on the glass made it impossible.

A message popped up.

"I'm inside Pizza Hut."

From where they were sitting, there was no angle that allowed them to see inside.

Freya was the first to reply, quick and sharp as always: "I'm protecting him from all the cougars."

Pedro snorted, shaking his head. Freya looked proud of herself.

Sara replied almost immediately:

"LOL, my mum asked if you were together. I almost told them he was my boyfriend and just finished all this waiting game."

Pedro: "Sara, I'll support you, but I think this is not the best time and place."

Sara: "First I'll tell my grandmother."

Pedro: "Love you. I'm leaving Freya at the beach and going home to work. Later I'll stop by for a beer and bring her back."

Sara: "Love you both, thanks."

On the way to the beach, Pedro gave Freya more details about what had happened with Sara's mum, and she understood better all the drama and tension between them, and what this incredible coincidence could mean once it became public.

"I'll talk to Sara. She must make her moves with caution and at the right time. She'll have to face a giant storm," Freya assured him.

"And I won't be with her. We live fifty kilometers apart, and she still has two months until the school year ends.

"She studies in Lisbon, and I can see her there, away from her parents, but she'll face them alone. She said she doesn't want me there, that this is a family matter.

"She's been pressing me to give her details about my relationship with her mum, and I've been trying to avoid it as much as I can. Some details could damage her view of her mother. I won't do that."

"There you are again," Freya said, "trying to protect everyone. Put yourself first for once.

"Pedro, I'm not as adventurous as I make others feel, and I want to be clear with you, I've never had a threesome and have never been with a girl before." Freya said with a smirk.

"No? But you... "

"I know, I wanted you to see me more as a rebel than I really am."

"You don't have to pretend with us, we are friends, ok?" Pedro stated.

"Sure, friends. That's why I confessed."

"I never had a threesome either, and the first, and second time I had sex in front of other people was with you," Pedro said, "and I have a confession to do too, hope it won't offend you."

"Shoot, I'm sure you can't offend me." Freya assured him.

"This morning you exposed yourself to us, more than the other time at the beach..." He didn't find the words or the courage to continue.

"Yes, I was more at ease with you, was it too much?"

"No, no, nothing like that, I really enjoyed it, but I noticed your clitoris, it's beautiful." Pedro blushed deep red.

"Shut up, it's so big, I'm so insecure with it..."

"Don't be, I loved to see it. I was really horny with Sara, but that pushed me to do that finishing move with her, I've never done it before. It was so intense, and seeing you exposed and her ass open for me made me explode. And when I sensed her fear that I was going to sodomize her ass it was a bonus to all the lust I was feeling." Pedro said, laughing.

"She panicked, I was seeing her face and when you put the head against her ass hole, she was really scared, horny, but scared."

He left Freya at the beach and went home to work, exchanging texts with Sara all afternoon. She was also at the beach and later joined Freya under his parasol, with Soraia taking care of them. Freya got a ride home with Sara's parents, and Pedro had time to make progress on his work, continuing through the night.

On Thursday morning, Sara's father went fishing and left her alone with her mother at home. When they went to breakfast, Sara took advantage of the moment to get some answers.

"Mum?" Sara called. "I think you have some explanations to give me."

"I do? About what Sara?"

"You and Pedro?"

Sofia became very serious, a bit embarrassed, and tried to change the subject. "There's nothing to say. We're good friends, old friends from school."

"You too, mum? Do you and Pedro have some kind of neural connection? When I ask him, he answers the same: 'we are old friends.' Always the same explanation. If you're such good friends, why didn't you speak for two decades? Why did I never hear you talk about him? And why did you and dad have an ugly fight when I mentioned his name two years ago, when we met at the mall?"

Sofia realized she wouldn't be able to escape her daughter's questions; she would have to improvise and omit more personal details. She had to give Sara something and try to hide the greater secret, the ones she had buried deep and kept hidden from her daughter.

"I don't know what I can tell you. What do you want to ask?" Sofia finally said.

"You're really coordinated..." Sara said, rolling her eyes.

"Why do you say that?"

"Mum, when I pressed Pedro, he said he couldn't answer because he would betray your trust. That if you agreed, he would tell me what happened between you two. So, you have permission to reveal everything. If you don't trust me, you can ask him."

Sofia was defenseless; if Pedro had given permission, then not answering meant she was hiding the truth from her daughter.

"It's not that I don't trust you... we were more than friends, Sara. It's personal. It's personal for him too."

"So, text him, mum!"

Sofia hesitantly took her phone out of her bag and stared at it, buying time, gathering the courage to send the message. Deep down, she was hoping Pedro would reply that he wanted to keep the secret. She trusted Sara. Maybe he had told Sara that just to end the questions, and now he might think it was better to keep everything hidden. He had nothing to lose. But it was her last hope, and she began typing the message.

"Hi Pedro, Sara is asking for details about our past. She says that for you I could explain everything?"

Pedro woke up to the message notification on his phone. He read it and felt something strange; she rarely used his name in messages. She usually used some loving nicknames. So she was in trouble; Sara was pushing her just like she had pushed him. He didn't want or need to hide anything from Sara, and he tossed the hot potato back into Sofia's hands.

"Hi Sofia, I didn't answer her because it was not my secret to share. Everything we did is time barred now. You can tell her everything, don't be shy."

Sofia couldn't believe what she was reading. Pedro didn't even try to protect her; he pushed her under the bus.

"So mum, let me see." Sara pulled the phone from her mother's hands and read it aloud.

Sofia was paralyzed. In panic, she stared at Sara, hoping for mercy, but the grin on her daughter's lips gave her none.

"When did you meet Pedro, in high school, or did you know each other before?"

"Sara, we met at school. We became great friends, really close friends. That is basically the story," Sofia said, standing up and taking the dishes to the sink.

"Come on, mum. Pedro hides behind that 'basic' story too. You're going to lie to me?" Sara said, exasperated.

"Sara! I don't lie to you, but these are old stories..."

"Mum, I'm curious. When I met him, I was in trouble, and he left everything to help me. A mere high school colleague wouldn't have done that for me. When he looked at me, he called me Sofia, and when he realized I was your daughter, he went above and beyond to protect me. He gave me clothes and everything I needed to spend the night, then went alone to the apartment to bring my luggage. He treated me like I was family. I deserve the truth, mum."

"Sara..." Sofia had no options left. She had always been open and honest with her, but this was an old wound she didn't want to reopen. "We became very close, and we were more than friends, you know?"

"No, mum, I don't know. What happened? Did you and dad already meet?"

"Yes, he was already my boyfriend. I was young, we were all young." Sofia said, sitting down again, resigned, beside Sara.

"Dad is five years older than you, mum. He wasn't so young at that time. But what happened after that?" Sara pressed harder.

"I already said that we became close... and we kissed. For a while we were friends with benefits," Sofia said, now looking down.

"Mum, don't be sad. Don't be mad with me. I'd like to know that story, to get to know you better. You've never shared that part of your life with me. Do you trust me, mum?"

"Of course I trust you, my love. I've never shared this part of my life with anyone. It's something I carry buried with me. I guess it will be good to share it with you, to take some of these memories out with someone I trust. Ask what you want, Sara."

Sara could see the emotion in her mother's eyes, but also a bit of relief; she even had a slight smile.

"Did dad catch you? Is this the cause of all this discomfort between the three of you?" Sara asked.

"No, he didn't catch us. But someone saw us at school, kissing, and told your father. You know how he is. It was hard for me, but for Pedro, too. We were good friends and classmates; we spent all day together, at school, on the bus home, and we had to adapt. Everyone at school found out about the drama."

"That must have been an awkward situation. But is that reason enough to hold a grudge for twenty years?"

"Your dad is very possessive, you know him. He loves me in his way, and we... not we, I didn't make it easy. A couple of months after the next school year started, Pedro and I went back to our secret relationship, and kept it until we were caught again, and someone told your dad..." Now Sofia had a naughty smile.

"Did you love Pedro, mum?"

"Sure, I did. I was so divided. Your dad was my first boyfriend; we were young but already had some plans. I loved both. I was young and had to make some decisions about life. That second time, your dad went to confront Pedro, threatened him. Pedro took the blame, saying it was his fault that he had forced a kiss in some dare at school. He faced your dad to protect me. I'll never forget that. It's something only a very special person would do for you."

"That sounds just like the Pedro I met that night in Albufeira. He faced everyone for me," Sara said, covering her mother's hand with hers.

Sofia was now more relaxed, even relieved, smiling as she appreciated this honest conversation with her daughter. Finally, being able to talk about this subject, after so many years of keeping the secret to herself, was a great relief, and Sara understood her perfectly.

Sara was preparing another question when Sofia said, "and we, me and Pedro, didn't end at that point. We managed to keep some time together until the school year ended." She said it with a naughty smirk.

"Mum!?!?" Sara laughed, somehow astonished by the confession and the situation.

"You're only young once, my love. I hope you'll make better decisions than I did. Enjoy your life, be happy."

Sara was discovering a whole new side of her mother that she had been completely unaware of, a human, daring side she had never seen, one her father had always repressed.

"Mum, at what age did you and dad... you know... do it?"

"Sara!?!" Sofia wasn't expecting that, but it was still better than if she had asked whether she had done it with Pedro.

"Come on, mum, I'm almost nineteen. I can handle it," she said with a wide grin.

"Okay... we only did it on our wedding night. We managed to wait." Sofia said, a little proud, but knowing this could lead Sara to ask more about her sex life before marriage.

At that moment, Sara went silent. Pedro had told her, after some pressure, that he and her mum had been together twice, and that it was before her parents were married. This just confirmed that Pedro had been with her mum first. Had he been the one who took her mother's virginity too? She drifted off into her thoughts and forgot she was still sitting with her mum.

"Sara, are you okay?"

"Yes, mum, sorry. I wasn't expecting that, but I understand. Different times."

"Yes, different times," Sofia agreed. "Does my beautiful daughter have any more questions?"

"Sure, mum, I have a lot more, but I won't bother you with all of them, at least today. But one more, a curiosity, not from the past."

"Sure, Sara. What is it?"

"Monday, when you went to pick me up, remember? Did you try to kiss Pedro?"

Sofia blushed a deep red. She hoped her daughter hadn't noticed. "Sara... I did. I hoped you didn't notice it."

"No problem, mum. I guess Pedro noticed too. Your secret is well guarded, now I can see why."

"But I'm ashamed. I wasn't supposed to do that. But the last time we were together, we said goodbye with a kiss, and when I saw him... when he leaned in to greet me, it was instinctive. Sorry, Sara."

"Mum, don't be sorry. I'll finish the interrogation for today. I loved our conversation. I learned so much about you today. Do you still love Pedro?"

Sofia felt the question like a bullet, stunned once again. "Sara!... I do, a will always love him, not like I used to love him, in an entirely different and matured way."

Sara gave her a loving smile and hugged her, "Thank you, mum."

They both stood up to do the dishes and tidy the kitchen. They had the day to themselves, and the morning talk had lifted the mood.

Sara was getting ready to go to the beach and turned back to the door. "Mum, do you trust Pedro?"

"With my life, Sara. Why?"

"Nothing. I do too. I trust him with my life. Love you, mum."

"Sara, have you told your grandmother what happened? She loves Pedro. She'll be happy to know that you've met him."

May was lifting the veil for another scorching summer in Portugal, but Pedro had work to do and wanted to keep busy to pass the time. Today the plan was to go out for drinks with Freya and Sara. He didn't know if her parents were going with her, but all he wanted was to see her, to talk to her, to be close to her.

His phone rang, not a text, an actual call. He rarely made or received phone calls these days, not even at work. Intrigued, he picked it up. It was Maria, Sara's grandmother. He hadn't spoken to her in years, and the call unsettled him.

"Hi Maria, is everything alright?"

"Hi Pedro, long time. How are you doing?"

"I'm fine. I recently met your granddaughter and met Sofia too this week." Pedro tried to read her tone, to understand the reason for the call. Did Sara confess what happened?

"I know. Sara called me and told me everything. I'm in shock. I don't know where to start, what to think of what you did."

Pedro had expected that the first person Sara would talk about their relationship would be Maria, but he thought she would warn him beforehand so he could be prepared to face her grandmother. Now he was dumbfounded, unsure of what to say.

"Maria, I really don't know what to say. It was so unexpected. I did, I'm doing my best, the best for Sara. Trust me."

"Of course I trust you, and I'm glad it was you. Perhaps it was a divine coincidence that brought you two together," Maria said.

"I don't know that this situation has anything divine in it..."

"Sure, it has. What would have happened to her if you hadn't found her that night? What would have become of my little treasure if you hadn't gotten her off the streets and taken care of her, given her shelter and your kindness?"

"Ohhh... I see. Sorry, I've worked all night, my head wasn't thinking straight. Sorry, Maria. I'm sure anyone would do the same," he replied, now realizing what Sara had told her.

"Don't be a fool. You did what you always do, protect and care for everyone. And I'm grateful she bumped into you that night."

"I loved meeting her. She is a beautiful and strong little woman. It was strange at first because she resembles her mother so much, but it was a pleasure to spend time with her." He was now feeling guilty; unintentionally, everything he said about Sara had a double meaning, and just like when he talked to Sofia, he felt as if he were betraying Maria, who trusted him so much.

"I see you're busy. I won't take more of your time. It was nice to talk to you again and thank you so much for taking care of Sara."

"It was my pleasure." There it was; another double meaning.

When he ended the call, he noticed a text from Sara: "I've told my grandmother how we met and how you saved me. Be ready, she says she'll call you later."

"Thanks' baby just ended the call. I thought you had told her EVERYTHING!"

"Lol, poor baby, sorry, didn't expect she to call you immediately," she replied.

"Are we set for the evening?" Pedro asked.

"Yes, I've talked to Freya. My parents want to go along. ????"

"No problem, little one. I just want to be close to you. See you later."

The night was strange and uncomfortable. Pedro didn't see eye to eye with Sara's dad, and it was mutual. Sara spent the night close to Pedro, touching hands whenever possible. Freya assisted them, covering when she could, and they managed to sneak in a few moments of closeness hidden from prying eyes.

Finally, after midnight, with everyone just a little tipsy from the alcohol, Sara managed to get a bit of distance to speak to Pedro without anyone listening. They didn't have real privacy; they were just outside the bar, and her parents and Freya were still on the terrace, but it was a small escape. They could talk, breathe, and share the warmth of their new closeness. But Sara had other ideas.

"Pedro, you should imagine what kind of conversation I had with mum earlier."

"Sure. I almost felt sorry for her, but I was relieved the interrogation was no longer about me."

"Are you sure about that?" She said, giving him a playful bump on the shoulder.

"Sure? No. But I hoped for it."

"You said you didn't have sex with mum after she married, right."

"Of course not, I didn't lie, did you ask that to your mother?" He was incredulous that she had asked her mother about her sex with him.

"No, I didn't mention what you told me and didn't ask about your sex escapades. But I asked her when she and my father had sex for the first time, and..."

"Oh my God Sara," he interrupted, he already knew what her Machiavellian mind had deduced, "you didn't..."

"I did, not intentionally I discovered that you probably were my mother's first, and she, was yours?"

Pedro covered his face, buried in his hands. "Sara, what do you want me to say?"

"The truth." She added with a devilish smirk.

"I'm all yours now Sara, I love you, I don't have secrets. Yes, it's true, the first time me and your mum had sex was the first time for both, I only found out, well, when we were about to do it."

Sara gave him a hug and went for his lips; he hugged her tightly, avoiding her and gave her a kiss atop her head.

"Sorry Pedro," she said looking to the terrace and noticed her mother was looking at them, "you lucky old guy, got both mother and daughter's virginities, what a conqueror."

"I've thought of that too, even before I succumbed to your charms. Don't get me wrong, I'm honored by it... but not proud. And a little ashamed. It's not normal. I never imagined it was possible."

Pedro's voice was low; he looked embarrassed, almost fragile, and avoided meeting Sara's eyes. He could feel Sofia's gaze on them from the terrace, sharp, curious, trying to read the distance between them.

Sara watched him carefully. The way he folded into himself, the way he tried to hide the conflict inside him, made her heart tighten. She stepped a little closer, not touching him, just closing the space enough that he would feel her presence.

"Cheer up. I'm so happy you were my first, and sharing this with mum is very special. Can I ask you one more thing, baby?"

"More? Only if you promise to behave and won't try to kiss me again in front of your parents."

"I promise I'll try. It's not easy to see your lips and not kiss you. When I asked if she tried to kiss you on Monday, she admitted it... and told me it was because the last time she was with you, she said goodbye with a kiss."

Pedro froze for a moment. The words hit him harder than he expected, not because of the past itself, but because of how casually Sara said it, how lightly she carried something that still weighed heavily on him. He felt the old guilt stir, the old confusion, the old sense of crossing lines he never meant to cross.

He glanced toward the terrace. Sofia was still watching them, not suspicious, but attentive, as if she could sense the emotional thread stretching between them. Sara noticed his silence and nudged him gently, her voice softer now.

"Baby... relax. I'm not judging you. I just want to understand everything."

Pedro exhaled slowly, grounding himself.

"Okay, I'm already afraid of where you're going with this..." Pedro replied, suspicious but amused.

"So... you told me the last time you talked was the day my parents got married, right?"

"Right, Sara. I didn't go to the wedding, but I went to your grandmother's house. She invited me in, just to wish for a happy marriage. She was, and I guess and hope she still is, my best friend."

"Oh..." Sara said softly.

"'Oh'? You sound disappointed," Pedro teased with a smile.

"I was expecting something spicier," she said, giggling.

"Sara, you gave me the spiciest week of my life, the happiest moments of my life."

He said it with a sincerity that softened everything around them. The noise from the terrace, the awkwardness with her father, even the tension of the night seemed to fade for a moment. Sara looked at him, her expression shifting from playful to tender, as if she felt the weight of his words settle inside her.

Sara stared at him with her big blue eyes, getting close to him, "how do you expect me to hold back and not kiss you?"

"I want you to do it, more than anything little one, do you think I don't want to hug you, kiss you and show your parents and the whole world that you're mine?

"If you want, we can go there and face them right now!"

They both got a text notification, it was Freya in the group chat; "Stop it please, you're emanating sex heat all over, Sofia already noticed and doesn't take his eyes off the two of you."

They both giggled and crossed looks with Freya; they got a safe distance between them.

"Pedro, I want to tell my parents. Not today... but soon. I'm not comfortable with lying, with hiding. As soon as I get back home, I'll go see my grandma. She'll help me, she always has good advice for hard problems."

"Your grandma is wise. You should take her advice."

"Even if she advises me to drop you?"

"Especially in that situation," he said, laughing.

She hugged him again. "You won't get free of me so easily." Then she grabbed his hand and guided him back inside.

Sofia's eyes were sharp, almost glowing with suspicion, or something else. Pedro couldn't tell if it was jealousy, protectiveness, or simply the realization of how close he and Sara had become. Either way, both possibilities were worrying. But it was something they would have to face eventually.

Before they joined the group Pedro was behind her, got near her ear, "I want to make a baby with you."

Sara froze, unable to move, her mouth slightly open as she slowly turned back to face him. Pedro placed both hands gently on her shoulders, not pushing her away, just grounding her, keeping her from reacting impulsively.

"I love you, old guy. You're mean to me," she whispered, half laughing, half breathless. "I want to jump on you right here, right now. What were you thinking, telling me this now?"

"I know, Sara," he said softly. "I was hoping this would be your reaction... but you could have been repulsed by it too. I know it's not for now. I want you to finish college. But I want to share my life with you. I've never been so sure of anything in my life."

His voice wasn't dramatic; it was steady, honest, almost frighteningly sincere. Sara felt her chest tighten, not with fear, but with the weight of what he was offering. The future. A choice. A life intertwined with hers.

Behind them, the terrace lights glowed. Sofia was watching, not casually, not distractedly, but with sharp, searching eyes. Pedro couldn't tell whether it was jealousy, suspicion, or simply a mother recognizing a bond she hadn't expected. Whatever it was, it was something they would have to face sooner or later.

Sara didn't look away from him. She didn't flinch. She just breathed, steady and slow, letting his words settle inside her.

They were now entering the bar, and hiding from her parents, and he pulled her to a kiss.

"I want to share my life with you too; I don't know if I can wait until I finish college."

"We'll discuss that in due time. Let's get back before your mother comes looking for us."

The rest of the night was funny... or strange, depending on who was watching.

Sofia kept her eyes on them, sharp and searching, unsure what to say or how to interpret what she saw. Sara and Pedro, on the other hand, were enthusiastic, happy, and almost glowing. Their energy was contagious; even Sara's father eventually joined the conversation, laughing and chatting along with them.

Only Sofia remained strangely quiet.

She didn't interrupt, didn't scold, didn't ask questions, she simply observed. And every time Pedro or Sara leaned a little too close, every time their smiles lingered a second longer than necessary, every time their hands brushed, Sofia's gaze tightened just a bit more.

Pedro felt it, Sara felt it, and Freya felt it.

But the night moved on, carried by the warmth of summer, the buzz of drinks, and the strange, delicate balance of a secret that was slowly becoming visible.

Sara hugged Freya and murmured in her ear, "Pedro wants to have a baby with me."

"If you can't keep quiet, your mother will kill you before you can even think about that," Freya replied.

"I'm so happy right now that I don't care."

This time it was very difficult for both to separate, to go to their own home. Even under the watchful eye of Sara's parents, they stayed close, moving through the night with a quiet, intimate confidence, taking another step forward in their relationship.

Pedro had a long night ahead, working. As soon as he got home, he showered, changed into comfortable clothes, and dove straight into his tasks. A notification popped up on his phone, Sara, image message.

"Wish it was your tongue", attached was a pussy pic, post orgasm, dripping.

"Soon you'll have to close your legs to keep me at a distance."

"Never," she replied.

Pedro slept until lunchtime and woke up to a notification from Sara.

"Still sleeping, baby?"

"You just woke me up. I worked until dawn. Dreamed of you."

"You're so sweet. What time did you arrange to meet Freya?"

"She'll have to be at the airport by 5 p. m. I'll pick you up at 4 and then we'll pick her up. Is that okay for you?"

"Sure, baby. Eager to see you again," Sara texted back.

Before picking up Sara, Pedro went to the mall and bought a perfume for Freya, a farewell gift from both. He asked Paula for help, and she suggested Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum. He took her advice and said goodbye to her as well, promising to return with Sara the next time they visited.

Sara got into the car and didn't even wait until they were at a safe distance; she attacked Pedro with kisses and grabs.

They walked hand in hand all the way to Freya. Pedro got out of the car to help her with the luggage, and then they began their journey to the airport.

"Freya, I never expected to gain a friend like you, and I know Pedro feels the same. I'm sure this isn't the last time we're together, but until then, take this gift, to remember our friendship."

Freya's eyes welled up with tears as she opened the perfume. "You guys are too much. I never expected to make friends like you. I love it, thank you both."

"Baby, how long does the trip to the airport take?" Sara asked.

"About 30 minutes. Why?"

"I have another gift for Freya, something for her to remember us."

As she was speaking, she went to his fly and got his cock out from his prison. Pedro wasn't expecting a blowjob, but he was not going to complain and gave her room to go down on him, even pulling his seat a bit back. Sara was a natural cocksucker, and Freya's lessons only mastered her skills, soon he was moaning with her warm mouth bobbing up and down on his hard pole. The risk of any SUV or other taller vehicle passing by them and seeing was adding to all the excitement, and when he noticed by the rearview mirror that Freya was spread, panty less, masturbating her beautiful big clit took this moment to his top five sex experiences, he adjusted the rearview mirror to see better and slowed Sara bobbing to delay the climax.

"I'm about to explode Sara, this is too much..."

Sara got her phone and started to record the blowjob, Pedro didn't say nothing, he was a passenger in this adventure, when he started to ejaculate, she took him out of her mouth and jerked him to her face, giving her a facial, a big facial, he come a lot, two days saving it and all the added excitement resulted a generous orgasm. Sara finished the video and stood up, Pedro started to laugh, joyfully laugh, the vision was divine, she was glazed. When she faced back, Freya came loud and intense.

"I'll miss you two, so much... Sara, kiss me please"

Pedro was in shock, almost losing control of the car when he looked at the back seat. Sara stretched to the back seat and shared a lovely kiss, a cum covered kiss with Freya. But Sara was really horny and seeing the sexy and huge Freya's clitoris went down and kissed it, a long and wet kiss.

"Ladies... stop it, or I won't be able to concentrate enough to drive us. This is just too much to handle and drive."

"Are you jealous, baby?" Sara asked him. "Do you want a kiss too?"

"The day I deny a kiss from you is the day you should have me committed to a mental institution."

Sara looked at him, still catching her breath from the intensity of the moment. "Are you sure?"

"Always. I'll never deny a kiss from you," he replied without hesitation.

Sara leaned toward him, half expecting him to pull back, but he didn't. He kissed her, a long, deep kiss, savoring the warmth of her lips.

"Not bad," Pedro added.

"Sara, get the baby wipes from the glove compartment, please. We all need some cleaning."

They parked and went to the check-in with Freya, only leaving her when she finally boarded.

"You two owe me a visit now. I have a spare room at my place, you're always welcome," Freya said, standing on her toes and pulling them into a three-way hug.

Sara and Pedro gave Freya a quick peck on the lips and then left to return home.

The drive back put a strange mood. Freya had become an important part of their relationship, and this was also their last day in the Algarve. Saturday would be the day they all returned home, and reality would come with them. Sara still had the final weeks of high school ahead, plus the national exams. After that came the moment of truth: they would have to make their relationship public. They were eager to do it, but also afraid, even if neither admitted it out loud.

When they arrived at Sara's place, Sofia came out to welcome them.

"My dear, go inside. I want to talk with Pedro, okay?" Sofia said.

Pedro and Sara exchanged a committed glance, and Sara excused herself and went inside.

"Pedro, as you might know, I was interrogated by Sara. It was a Gestapo type scene."

"I figured. She's as persistent as you, and a lot more acute."

"What have you told her about our... past?" Sofia asked.

"I didn't tell her much, but she extracted and deduced a lot more, especially after what you gave her."

"I didn't tell her much, Pedro!"

"She is way smarter than both of us combined." Pedro said, "she now knows you had sex with me before her father."

"WHAT? How did she even know we had sex; did you tell her that?"

"I didn't. Just like you did once, she can get anything she wants from me..."

"That's not an explanation, Pedro..." Sofia said, exasperated.

"I was trying to gain her confidence, and knowing what happened that night with her boyfriend, I needed to know if she was hurt, or worse. I needed to know if I had to go to the police station. So, we made a deal: she could ask me about you, and I could ask her about what happened."

"So, you decided, 'Oh, I'll tell her I took her mother's virginity while she was dating her father', thanks Pedro!"

"No, nothing like that Sofia, we agreed that we couldn't lie, we could omit or refuse to answer, but we only answer the truth, Sofia, let me finish please.

"We exchanged some questions and at some point, she asked if we ever had sex, I refused to answer and she deduced that if we didn't have sex I would have answered no, the reason I chose not to answer was because the answer would be yes; I can't argue with her logic. She set a trap for me, and I fell right into it.

"And then she set the trap to you, when you said the first time you had sex with the other one was on your wedding day she knew we had our first time together."

"My daughter is terrible. She fooled us both," Sofia said with a smile.

"I've never been able to refuse you anything. You always convinced me to do whatever you wanted, and I think Sara has the same effect on me," Pedro admitted.

"You refused, fortunately, my kiss on Monday. And I hope she didn't push you as much as I did... that would be awkward." Sofia was joking but also watching his reaction closely.

"She's very special, Sofia," Pedro said, avoiding the trap. "I'll go home now. I have some work to do, and I want to make the return trip early tomorrow morning to avoid the hottest hours. Are you returning tomorrow or Sunday?" He knew the answer but didn't want Sofia to realize how close he and Sara had become.

"We must check out by noon, so we're planning to make the trip in the morning too. It's been nice talking to you again, I missed this."

"Me too, Sofia. I hope we can keep it going forward..." Pedro said, though he knew it was unlikely.

Sofia was about to step inside when Pedro called her. "Sofia?"

"Yes, Pedro..."

"Do you still trust me?"

She stared at him for a couple of seconds before replying, "Of course. With my life. Why?"

"Curiosity... after so many years without speaking, being apart, I wasn't sure if I could still count on your trust."

"Did you murder someone and need my friendship?" Sofia replied, referring to the conversation they had shared so many years ago.

"No, don't think so. Maybe I've done something worse. Love you, Sofia, my friend. I hope your trip tomorrow goes well. For me you are still my best friend, don't forget that ever."

He got in the car and drove away, not giving her the opportunity to ask what he meant with that enigmatic phrase. Sofia was at a loss for what to do or think. She stood in the doorway, too weak to move, wondering if what she had seen the previous night at the bar meant what she feared most.

When Pedro got home, he sent Sara a text: "Guess I let slip some clues to your mum."

"Why?" She replied.

"I don't know. I didn't speak of us, but I wanted to know if she still trusts me, and she said you asked the same thing. I guess she got suspicious of something." He was leaving out parts; he wanted so badly to tell Sofia the truth. He was uncomfortable lying, or omitting such a big secret from her.

"Mum was strange when she returned, looking at me in a weird way."

"I'm sorry, Sara. I'm uncomfortable speacking with your mum and feeling like I'm betraying her.

"Did Freya text you?" He tried to change the subject.

"No, she should be landing now. I'll text her in our group. Love you, old man."

He was home alone, eating dinner, when he got a notification. Sara had sent a video to the group chat, she had sent the facial video to them, with a caption: "Hope you don't forget us, Freya." Pedro reacted with a heart emoji.

A few minutes later Freya texted, "Just landed, I already miss you two" and sent a video attached, it was a close up of her pussy, in the airplane bathroom, having an orgasm.

"I was thinking about our time together. I couldn't wait until the plane landed.

Hope you make a safe trip tomorrow. Take care of Sara, old guy. Love you both."

The return trip went smoothly, and on the days that followed, Sara and Pedro didn't meet in person but stayed in touch through calls and texts. About two weeks after they got back, they started seeing each other again, carefully, meeting for a coffee or an ice cream. They didn't even risk a kiss, let alone anything more intimate.

Both avoided the elephant in the room. They had agreed to wait until the school year ended before coming forward and telling her parents. But Sara was determined to tell her grandmother as soon as possible; she knew her grandmother would help her figure out how to approach her parents.

The last weekend before the end of school she was visiting her grandparents, and she decided that was the right moment. Sara was nervous, anxious; Pedro was in a panic. He could only wait and hope Maria still trusted him enough to give him the benefit of the doubt. It was a big 'if,' but he had to hold on to something.

"Baby, I'm going to the supermarket with Grandma. It's now. Pray for me, love you."

"If I knew how, I would pray for both of you. Good luck, little one. Love you."

During the trip to the supermarket, Sara was choosing her words, planning her speech, trying to figure out how she would approach her grandmother, but it didn't help; nothing came to mind. She had to improvise. Her nerves were proving to be a terrible advisor.

"Are you okay, Sara? You're so quiet. It's not like you," Maria asked.

"Grandma, I need your help, your advice... but I don't know where to start," she said, worried written all over her face.

"Start from the beginning, Sara. It's always the best. I'm not your mum; I'm not a judge. Grandparents are counselors.'"

"You're the only person that I can ask for help with this."

"It's about what happened in the Algarve? You can trust me, Sara."

"Grandma, it is about what happened in Algarve but not what you are thinking, I've already forgotten that episode."

"So, what else happened? Any more troubles?" Maria asked, now with serious concern.

"No trouble... or maybe trouble... definitely big trouble, but good trouble..." Sara was stumbling; she had to spill it out.

"I'm not getting what you're saying, Sara."

"Grandma, you know Pedro, right?"

"Yes, I've known him since he was a baby. His parents are my friends. Why?"

"Do you trust him? I know what happened with him and Mum, and that you were involved in it. Mum told me some parts."

"I trust him. He's a good friend of your mum and helped her a lot when she needed it. But he had feelings for her, and they drifted apart. Your mum also has feelings for him..."

"You don't have to keep a secret. I know what happened. I got some parts from Pedro and the rest from Mum. It's okay, it is old stories," Sara assured her.

"So, if you know what happened, why are you asking if I trust him?"

Sara began to blush, her eyes welling up with tears, her expression heavy. She couldn't bring herself to look at her grandmother in the eye.

"Sara, did Pedro do something wrong? Did he...?" Maria was now truly frightened and worried.

"He did, we did... No, he did nothing wrong, Grandma. Nothing like that." Tears were streaming down her face now, but Maria could clearly see they weren't tears of sadness or pain, it was something else entirely.

Maria placed her hand on her granddaughter's face, gently caressing her cheek and wiping away her tears. "My dear, what is bothering you? How can I help you?"

Sara didn't raise her head; her eyes still fixed on her lap. "I love him, Grandma. I'm in love with Pedro, and he feels the same way. We're together, and I don't know how to move forward. How can I tell this to my parents? We have an age difference; everyone is going to judge us... I need your help."

Maria held her chin and gently lifted it, wiping her tears once more and looking straight into her eyes. "Sara, do you love him?"

"Yes, Grandma. I love him so much. He's so sweet and caring, so attentive to me. He worries about me, about how I feel, what I want... more than what I want, what I need." Sara could finally breathe again. Grandma wasn't angry; she was with her. A small smile dared to appear on her face.

"The last time you were here, you were a big child. Now you're a small woman. You've changed. Was it Pedro?"

"It was Pedro what, Grandma?"

"That changed you, that made you grow. I don't want any intimate secrets, Sara, that's not what I was asking," she said, giggling.

Sara blushed again, giggling too. "Well... it was him. On both matters."

"Sara, I told you I didn't want details. I had enough of that with your mum, thank you.

"About what you feel for him... he's older, he's more mature, experienced..."

"I know Grandma. It doesn't bother me," Sara interrupted.

"No, Sara, for me, age isn't a problem either. I'm explaining that he is all that because of his age. He treats you like a woman. Your school boyfriends treated you like a girl. What you're experiencing is a mature relationship. You need to understand that if you go forward, this is what you'll get. You won't get teen romance and drama. If this is what you want, if you love him, and this is the man you desire, I'll support you, I'll go to war with you."

"You will, Grandma? With my parents?" Sara's eyes widened with happiness.

"Of course, my dear. If you want, I'll be by your side, holding your hand. And knowing how your dad sees him, I'm guessing you won't be telling them with Pedro standing next to you, right?"

"Right, Grandma. Only you or him could give me enough strength to face my parents."

"So, let's put the pieces together. You'll have to finish school and the exams before you speak with them."

"That's the idea. That was Pedro's advice too."

"I see he continues to be thoughtful and assertive, two qualities I always appreciated in him, even when he was young. But you're going to college. That's not negotiable."

"Of course, Grandma. I want to finish my degree and then start a life with him. But I want peace at home so I can study and date him. If my parents interfere between us, I'm sure he'll invite me to live with him."

"I hope it doesn't come to that. But if it does, my house is always available to you. And as for Pedro, he knows the back door well," Maria said, laughing. "By your face, I see they didn't tell you all their secrets?"

"I'm not understanding..." said Sara, confused.

"Before I commit to helping you, I need to speak with Pedro. I need to hear from him. I need to know his commitment and whether he's ready to make you happy."

"Grandma, he already makes me so happy. Last week was the happiest week of my life."

"I don't doubt you. But I need to hear from him. I need to talk to him before we face your parents," Maria said, her tone turning serious again. "Our relationship goes way far, I needed him sometimes, he needed me too, but mostly he was there when I and your Mum needed him."

"Grandma don't be harsh on him. He tried to avoid it. He tried to reject me, and he did, several times. But we are in love."

"I must be harsh on him. He's dating my sweet princess. I need to know he's still the Pedro I have known all my life.

Now let's finish shopping before your grandpa launches a rescue operation."

Pedro was at home with his children, unable to hide his anxiety and nervousness, when he heard a notification on his phone. It was Maria: "We need to talk, in person, Pedro. Urgently."

"Hi Maria, when?"

"This afternoon. I'll send you a location. Is 5 p. m. okay for you?"

"I'll be there. Send me the location. I love Sara."

Maria didn't answer that last message.

"Sara, your grandma wants to meet me. How did it go?"

"I think it went well, but she needs to speak to you, she needs to hear it from you. And she already knows we had sex ????"

"Really, little one? She's going to shoot me."

Fifteen minutes before 5 p. m., he got a text with the meeting place, a coffee shop near where they both lived.

At the agreed time, Pedro was there. Maria was already seated at a table in a corner, away from everyone else. His legs were shaking even more than when she opened the door for him on the day of Sofia's wedding. He felt like a teenager again, meeting the parents of his crush. She was drinking coffee, and when he approached, she pointed to the chair in front of her and asked if he wanted anything. He ordered sparkling water and sat down.

"Hi Maria, nice to see you again..."

"Sure, me too." He thought he saw a smile, maybe not. He was so nervous that his hands were visibly shaking.

"I'm glad to see you're nervous, Pedro," she said.

"May I know why?" He asked, bewildered.

"If you're nervous, it's a sign you care about Sara."

"Maria, I wouldn't move on to her if I wasn't sure of my feelings. She's very special. We met..."

"Pedro, let me ask the questions, ok?"

"Sure, Maria. I only wanted..." Her determination and rudeness did nothing to alleviate the panic he felt.

"No. Afterward we can have small talk. Right now, I need to ask: what were you thinking?"

Pedro was stunned, but Maria gave him a small smile.

"I trust you, Pedro. I'm sure you wouldn't get involved with Sara if you weren't certain of what you were doing. She is precious, but she's also very childish and innocent. Well... she already told me you took some of her innocence..."

Pedro's face flushed bright red and he evaded her glaze.

"Maria, I... I don't know what to say. Everything happened so fast. I tried to slow things down, and I did, but she's very strong and very determined. She's much more mature than I expected. I'm sorry... I'm so embarrassed to be here with you, knowing I betrayed your trust in me"

"Don't be. I've been worried about her, about her boyfriends, and her friends in general. I know you'll have her best interests in mind, and that's what I want to ask you: don't hurt her. Only if you hurt her, you will betray me."

"I can't promise you that. If I were nineteen like she, maybe I could. But I'm not, and if I promise you that, I might be lying. What I can promise is that I'll do everything in my power to make her happy. But if, as I hope, we build a relationship, marry... I know we'll face problems. Good days and bad days."

"I know. I've been married for forty years, Pedro; that's the best anyone can promise. Another thing: you have two children, almost her age. Do they know?"

"Not yet. They suspected something, but I haven't told them. I want to tell them with Sara by my side. I'm sure they'll love Sara, and Sara will love them too. They're good kids.

"Maria, after my divorce I had some girlfriends, nothing serious, and I never brought anyone home. But I want Sara to know them. I want her to share my life."

"And... sorry, but this is a very personal question for me. Do you plan to have more kids in the future? She's my only granddaughter, you know."

"I've already promised Sara that I want to have children with her. As soon as she finishes her degree, I want us to have a baby. But that feels so far away; we have so many hurdles ahead. Today we broke down one barrier, but there is still more to go," Pedro replied, now with a grateful smile.

"You doubted I would understand your situation? You feared my reaction?" Maria asked, curious.

"Yes. I knew you and I shared a connection; you trusted me with Sofia when few would. But I was afraid you'd look at me and Sara differently, because of the age gap... and my previous history with her mother."

"And I did. Not because of the age gap, but because I know how similar they are, especially physically, and I feared that might be a factor. That you were living in a memory, in love with an old feeling. But as soon as I saw the sparkle in your eyes when you spoke about Sara, those doubts vanished."

"I had the same doubts, the same fight. I was afraid I was in love with memories. But Sara is a different person. Only then did I admit our involvement. It was a huge internal struggle. The week we spent together was the happiest seek of my life until now."

"I know exactly the hurdles you'll have to overcome. Two hurdles.

"The first is Sofia. She's going to be very messy. She'll throw tantrums at first, but I can handle her. She adores you and trusts you; she never forgot you, and for her you are still her best friend, but I'm afraid she still has deeper feelings for you. Of course, when she finds out you're sleeping with her daughter, she'll put up a fight first.

"The worst part will be my son-in-law. I don't like him, he can't stand you, and he's extremely unstable. For that part, we'll need to join forces; me, you, Sara, and Sofia.

"Sara wants to speak with both parents at the same time. I understand and respect that. So, we won't have my daughter's support initially, but I will always be by Sara's side, and my son-in-law respects me."

"I knew talking to you would help simplify things. We still have about a month until Sara takes her national exams, and we can prepare her better. In the meantime, I think I'll introduce Sara to my children. It will help her face the challenges," Pedro said, now much more confident.

"Sara is going to spend the weekend with me. Her parents have already gone home, and my husband is also away this weekend. I think the back door of my house will be open... and I believe you still know where Sofia's room is. I don't know what you intend to do with that information," Maria let slip as she got up from the table, ready to leave.

Pedro stood up and hugged Maria. "I'm eager for the day I can call you Grandma, Maria. You'll keep it a secret from Sara, like last time?"

"Sure, Pedro. I just hope this time you won't be so loud..." She laughed, and he, despite blushing deeply, laughed too.

Sara was at her grandmother's house, alone and anxious. Her talk with Grandma had gone well, but she knew her grandmother's support depended on this meeting with Pedro. She had been texting Freya, which helped, but they were taking so long. Then she received a message from Pedro. She gathered her courage and opened it, nervous.

"Your Grandma is an incredible woman. I know where you get all your strength. She will help us; she's on your side."

They kept exchanging texts, now in the group chat with Freya, sharing the good news, their excitement, but also the hurdles they would have to face in the future. Around 11 p. m., Freya had already left the chat. Pedro said he was going to bed, and Sara did too. He was waiting at least until midnight before heading to Sara's grandmother's house.

"Sara is in a deep sleep." It was 11:45 p. m. The text was from Maria.

Pedro jumped as if he had springs, grabbed the car, and practically flew the five minutes to Maria's house. He parked in the back, went to the unlocked back door, and Maria greeted him. "Do your magic. She needs you."

"Thanks, Maria. You're a very special person to me."

"If you make her as happy as Sofia was when you two were... 'together'", she made air quotes, "then I should be the one thanking you."

He only nodded, smiled, and hugged her.

He stepped into the room. It was exactly as he remembered, and Sara was deeply asleep. He closed the door behind him, quietly. He slipped under the covers beside her, gently, careful not to wake her. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, and she stirred, instinctively nestling closer to him, still asleep.

He stayed like that for a long time, simply holding her. Feeling her warmth. Breathing in her scent. Listening to the soft rhythm of her breath. He could even feel the faint, steady beat of her heart.

He began to kiss her neck softly, brushing his lips near her ear, murmuring her name. "Sara... my love... wake up."

She stirred slowly. For a moment she thought it was a dream; it couldn't be real. "Pedro? Where are we?"

"In your grandma's house, little one."

She turned around suddenly, startled and confused. "What are you doing here? In bed with me? How did you get in?" Sara whispered, still half-asleep, and panicked.

He silenced her with a kiss. "Your grandmother is very special, and she trusts me more than she probably should," he said with a broad smile. "I miss you so much."

"Miss you too old guy, let's celebrate today's achievement." Sara said while undressing, too. "Make love with me, boring sex, love making."

And that's what they did, all night, boring and exciting sex, he came 3 times on her, she lost count of her orgasms, they never slept and stayed connected until the first rays of sunlight break through the window.

They heard a knock on the door. Sara pulled the sheets over them just in time, even before the door opened. It was her grandmother, smiling. "Sleepyheads, the day is dawning. Breakfast is here. Someone must go home."

Just like all those years before, Maria left the tray on the small table and still smiling, stepped out and closed the door behind her.

"What just happened, Pedro?"

"Your Grandma being herself, loving you, trusting me. And wanting me out of her house as fast as possible."

They both laughed and started to eat.

When he left the house, he didn't see Maria and didn't get the chance to thank her.

The following Saturday, Pedro invited Sara to lunch; he had a surprise for her, something special. Despite Sara's insistence, and every trick she tried to pull to persuade him, Pedro kept the secret.

Pedro had invited his children, Rui and Ana, to lunch as well; he wanted to introduce them and overcome one more hurdle. He knew it would be an important step, but he didn't expect it to be difficult. His children were mature for their age and would certainly be happy to know their father had a girlfriend. He was confident the age difference wouldn't be an obstacle.

He booked a restaurant in Lisbon, easy for Sara to reach by public transport, in a quiet area, a calm and welcoming place where they could stay as long as they needed without being disturbed. He scheduled lunch for 2 p. m., giving them time to linger and talk.

Pedro and his children arrived first. They didn't know the purpose of the lunch, only that their father wanted to tell them something, but they had no idea what it was. When Sara arrived at the restaurant, she immediately understood the surprise. Her stomach tightened, nervous, but also excited that Pedro was bringing her into his family life.

"Hi Sara, these are my children, Rui and Ana... and this is Sara, my girlfriend, my future fiancée."

The introduction created a tense atmosphere among the four, quickly broken by Rui, who stepped forward and greeted Sara with a hug and two kisses. Ana was more reserved, giving two kisses but not seeming comfortable. Sara, meanwhile, was surprised by the frankness of the introduction, and by the fact that Pedro had called her his future fiancée. It was the first time he had referred to her that way.

During lunch, the atmosphere grew lighter, and soon they were interacting like a new family, despite everything being so recent. Ana let her guard down, and by the end of lunch she was the one who had bonded most closely with Sara; both were girls, not far apart in age, and they quickly formed a natural connection. Rui, perhaps affected by Sara's beauty and the hormones of youth, became more reserved as the lunch went on.

"Rui, Ana... I know this is a surprise for both of you. I didn't know what this lunch was about either, I was caught off guard too. I want you to see me as a friend, not as a stepmother, a word I hate. I'm not here to replace anyone. I just want to be another member of the family.

"If you have any questions, whatever they may be, your father and I will be happy to answer them."

"How long have you two been dating?" Ana asked, a mischievous smile on her face.

"We met in the Algarve, during the days I spent there in May. It all happened very suddenly, we fell in love and realized we needed each other. Love appeared.

"There are coincidences... Sara's parents are from near us, and her grandparents still live close by. They're friends with your grandparents. Sara's mother was my schoolmate, and we're very good friends."

"Does her mother know you two are dating?" Rui asked, curious.

"That's a relevant question, Rui. No, I haven't told my parents yet, only my grandmother. And now you two," Sara replied, visibly anxious.

"In practice, there are three more people who know, who have known from the beginning. You know two of them: Manuel and Soraia from the beach bar in the Algarve, and a friend we made during the holidays, a Swedish woman named Freya," Pedro added.

"I don't mean to be rude, Dad," Ana asked, somewhat shyly, "but... what's the age difference? How old is Sara?"

"You're not being rude, Ana, dear. It's the elephant in the room," Sara said gently. "I'm 18, and almost 19. I just finished high school, and if everything goes well, I'll be going to IST next year."

"I don't have any problem with that. Age doesn't bother me," Ana said with a smile, taking Sara's hand. "And I'm sure my silly brother thinks the same.

"I had already noticed something was happening, my father was happier, but also anxious. And I'm not very experienced when it comes to love, but just seeing the way your eyes sparkle when you look at each other is enough to know you're in love. And as beautiful as you are, I bet my idiot brother is already in love too."

Rui was deeply embarrassed; he blushed hard. "You're really an idiot, Ana!"

"You two, stop it. You've been behaving so well until now," Pedro said, a serious tone slipping into his voice. "You're embarrassing me."

Sara and the kids exchanged contact information and social media details, and Sara explained that next week would be the hardest day. She was going to tell her parents she was dating Pedro.

"I don't know what will happen next," she said, "but I know I have Pedro and my grandmother to support me."

"You have us too, Sara. Even my stupid sister," Rui added with a grin.

"Sara... Dad... can I expect a sister in the future? No more brothers, thanks," Ana asked with a smirk.

"Your father promised me we'll have kids," Sara said, taking Pedro's hand. "But I'm going to college this year, and I'll be there for five years. But it's definitely in our plans."

"Thank you both," Sara said, clinging to Pedro. "This lunch was very important to me. I was nervous about meeting you, I didn't know how you would receive me, and now I've made two more friends. Next week I might lose some."

Her eyes began to fill with tears.

"It'll be alright, Sara. At worst you'll come live with us, with the old man. He's very grumpy, but you'll get used to it eventually," Ana said, smiling at her father.

Sara invited Pedro for lunch on Wednesday; she had to go to Lisbon for university matters and wanted him to meet someone, her best friend. The specter of Sara revealing her relationship with Pedro to her parents next Saturday hung over them, but they tacitly avoided the subject. There was nothing to be done; they simply had to wait.

On Wednesday, lunch went well. Sara's friend, a schoolmate since primary school, was an extroverted, tall, flamboyant blonde, very friendly, and seemed genuinely pleased to see them together.

"Elisa thought you were going to look like my father next to me."

Sara stepped forward and immediately received a shove from her friend.

"Hey, it's the truth, that's what you said."

"Elisa, I think about this situation a lot. It weighed more on my conscience than I expected," Pedro said, his tone slightly hesitant. "But the truth is that I feel she's happy by my side... and I love her."

"It's true that I said that when she told me," Elisa admitted, a bit embarrassed. "She told me about the age difference. I didn't expect her to tell you. But you two make a lovely couple, and the age difference isn't shocking. I only want her to be happy, she's my bestie."

Saturday arrived, and anxiety skyrocketed to uncontrollable levels. They were both nervous. Pedro wouldn't be there, which made him even more restless. Sara was about to face a terrible situation, and he wouldn't be by her side to support her or defend her. She was going with her grandmother. He hoped her father wouldn't dare touch her in front of Maria, but he couldn't be sure. He didn't like the man; he didn't trust him at all.

They exchanged messages throughout the day. Her grandmother would arrive at Sara's house around 6 p. m. A little before that time, Pedro did something impulsive: he grabbed his phone and sent a message to Sofia:

"My dear, look after Sara. She's a very special girl. I love you."

Sofia was preparing a snack to welcome her mother when she heard the notification. She was surprised to see it was from Pedro. Although they had grown closer in recent weeks, he had never texted her. And when she read the cryptic message, she became even more intrigued.

What did he mean?

"I know she's very special, but... what's the reason for the message?"

"Sofia, do this for me. Think about everything we've been through together, the good and the bad. Kisses, we'll talk tomorrow."

Sofia was stunned, speechless as she read the message, unsure how to reply. Before she could decide, the doorbell rang. It had to be her mother; the answer would have to wait. She heard the door open and Sara greeting her grandmother. These visits weren't very common, especially when initiated by her mother, which made her uneasy. And the fact that her mother had asked whether her husband was home only added to the tension.

When Sofia entered the living room carrying a tray with a freshly baked cake and a teapot, Sara was whispering to her grandmother, very serious, their hands tightly clasped.

"Hi Mom... What are you two plotting?"

"Nothing, my dear. Talking to my only granddaughter isn't plotting."

It sounded like a joke, but Maria was quite serious.

"I was kidding, Mum, Jesus."

"My dear, would you call your father, please?" Maria said, gently caressing her granddaughter's face.

A minute later, Sara and her father entered the room. He noticed the tea and returned with a beer in his hand. They began their snack in an awkward, uncomfortable silence.

"Mom, Dad... I have something to tell you."

Sara interrupted, and Maria, sitting beside her, opposite her parents, gripped her granddaughter's hand tightly, giving her strength.

Sara and her grandmother exchanged a look. Maria nodded with a soft smile, encouraging her to continue.

Sofia grew tense; she had suspected her mother's visit had an ulterior motive, and now the veil was lifting. Sara's father was lost; he had expected a simple snack, nothing more.

Sara took a deep breath, exchanged another glance with her grandmother, and said:

"Pedro and I are dating."

Sofia froze, her face tightening, her eyes darting between her mother and her daughter. She couldn't speak; a lump blocked her throat.

"Sara... who is this Pedro you're dating?" her father asked.

"Dad... Pedro. The one I was with in the Algarve in May."

Sara's father shot to his feet, the beer spilling across the table. "What are you talking about, Sara?" His voice erupted, furious, shaking. "Do you know who that idiot is?"

"I know perfectly well who he is. And I understand this is hard for you. But I know him much better than you do, Dad."

Sara's voice was firm, bold. "We're in love. And I won't let anyone come between us."

"Sara, you're only avoiding a slap because your grandmother is here. But you're never going to see or speak to that man again."

"Good thing you say that," Maria cut in, her voice solemn and sharp. "Because she's coming home with me. I'm not leaving her under the same roof as someone who threatens her."

"Sofia?" he barked, growing more furious by the second. "Aren't you going to say anything? You're not doing anything? Are you just going to let your daughter run around being used by your ex‑lover?"

"Have respect for my mother and your daughter, since you don't respect me," Sofia finally managed to say.

"Maria, if you want to ruin your granddaughter the same way you ruined your daughter, be my guest. Take your daughter too. I don't want either of them in my house!"

He moved aggressively toward Sofia, slapped her, a sudden, violent gesture and she fell to the floor.
