Heather: Chapter 15
Part 1: The Table Aftermath
The crew returned to camp empty-handed, except for some cell photos and a few unopened bottles of wine. Heather and Black Clint Howard (the group leader) held a debriefing with Quiet Man. Leon was at the Marriott. Heather would pick up her assignments from him at that location.
Heather, instead of saying anything, just whipped out her cell phone. She showed Quiet Man a picture of dead Sofia, confirmed by her ring. She then said, "They were all like that when we got there."
Quiet Man said, "Interesting. The question is why someone would want to frame us and who even knows we exist?" It didn't make sense. "Heather, I want to remind you that you don't know anything about this. No calling Julie. You wait for her to call you and arrange a meeting."
Julie never called.
Part 2: Talon Aftermath.
The girls came home singing.
"Don't you know?
Don't you know, things can change (know)
Things'll go your way.
If you hold... on for one more day, yeah
Can you hold... on..."
They laughed and giggled about how they pulled this off alone.
Sofia said, "Time for me to reward you." She slid Julie's pants off and buried her head in Julie's snatch. And then, like clockwork, one, two, three, Julie's phone rang. It was Jordana calling her with the news that the Order of St. Michael had murdered all the Falcones, including Sofia. She was sorry for her loss, but needed her to stay vigilant. Since Julie knew Sofia's operation, she would temporarily take her spot as a Ruby until things could be sorted out. They lost a lot of high operatives.
Julie said, "Roger that. I will hold down the fort."
Julie shared the conversation with Sofia, who was now officially dead. Sofia was free from The Diamond and could work behind the scenes performing unsanctioned tasks, like she just did. Leon was her next target, but she needed to get information from him to keep on moving.
Sofia had her own network. She called around Chicago. Leon was staying in the murder room at the Marriott.
Part 3: Leon
Quiet Man instructed Heather to meet Leon at the Marriott. He has information on JD. He warned Heather, "He might want a blow job."
Heather said, "Remind Leon what happened to the last dick I stuck in my mouth in that room. I might have memory muscle."
Leon was waiting for Heather. He would have her undress and then suck his cock, and then maybe fuck her if he didn't cum in her face. Then they would talk about JD, whom he had identified from an early e-mail as Jordana Diamond. He undressed and wore only a robe. He was eager.
Sofia arrived first. She knocked on the door. He opened it expecting to see Heather. Sofia forced her way in with a loaded gun. Leon was white as a ghost. "You... You're..."
"Dead," Sofia finished his statement for him. "Rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated."
Leon: "I saw the corpse."
Sofia: "Fake News"
Sofia looked at Leon's laptop. It was open. He had been working on it when he answered the door.
Sofia simply put a bullet between Leon's eyes. The gun had a silencer.
She took out a thumb drive and downloaded all the files. There was a file named "Heather." She opened that one up. She found it amazing. Sofia looked out the window and saw Heather entering the building. She left the computer open and left another blank thumb drive on the desk. She quickly walked out and took the stairs just as the elevator doors opened.
Heather went to the door and used the extra card that Quiet Man had handed her. She found Leon dead. The computer with her face and file on it caught her eye, as did the thumb drive. She downloaded the files, and then closed it. She would pretend like she never saw it.
She took the computer and Leon's cell phone so they would not go into evidence.
Once she was in her black Audi, she called Quiet Man and informed him Leon was assassinated. She was bringing back his laptop and cell.
Quiet Man decided the compound and the agents might have been compromised. They could all be hunted. He told his agents to leave, and they would be contacted when needed.
Heather was told to see the company attorney before she left. It seems she now had controlling shares of Fink Enterprises. If she could survive just 30 days, she would own a multi-billion-dollar corporation.
