Day seven: Sunday evening.
Part A: The Half Mummy
A buzz woke me up. I felt as if I was waking in a fog, and I had little idea of where, or when, I was.
I looked around and saw that I was laying on a hospital bed. The back of my hospital bed was raised on a 45 degree angle and I rested against a pillow behind my head, trying to figure out exactly how I felt. Bandages were wrapped over my right leg and my right arm, and around my torso. My right hand was bandaged around my palm, and I couldn't really use my right hand to do anything other than poke with a few exposed fingers. There were also a bunch of cords connected to my body with little stickers. My right leg was raised on a little specialized pillow of some sort.
The memory of the last few hours came back to me in bits and pieces. I vaguely remembered being in and out of consciousness, riding in an ambulance, and arriving at the hospital. I could tell from the windows that it was getting late.
"Oh, you're awake?" said Professor Hale. She sounded sleepy. "How are you feeling?"
"Alive," I said, and turned to her.
Professor Hale was sitting on a large upholstered chair beside my bed. She looked very tired, as if she had just woken up from a long nap. Her hair was long and messy as it fell over her face. I wondered how long she had been there. Long enough to change into her pajamas, apparently: she wore her little short shorts that showed off her long, beautiful bronze legs, and a loose T-shirt. She pulled down her glasses from her forehead and looked me over.
"How long have you been here?"
"Oh, a few hours..." she looked at the clock. "Wow, it's almost seven o'clock already..."
"Have I been out the whole time?" I asked. I felt a dull numbness throughout my body.
"You've been in and out, but mostly sleeping. The doctors said you had a minor concussion initially, but it looks like that's passed. And your right side got scraped up pretty badly."
I held up my bandaged right arm. It was bandaged from my forearm up over my palm, and I had bandages covering my torso and right leg as well. I could feel the numbness of the pain medicine, which made it hard to feel much. But it didn't look great.
"How bad is it?" I asked.
"Long term, you'll be okay, luckily," Hale said. She touched my shoulder gently. "I know you look like half a mummy, but the doctors said it could easily have been much worse."
"Yeah..." I remembered hanging onto the edge of the van. "It was a dumb thing to do..."
"To say the least," she said, and pursed her lips. Her hand on my shoulder squeezed affectionately. "Anyway, you'll have tonight and probably tomorrow in the hospital, then if the doctors clear you, you can come back home. It will be a few weeks before you're back to 100%, but on the bright side it doesn't seem like there will be any long term damage. Luckily you also avoided re-opening that spot on your leg where you got burned last week."
"Oh yeah," I said, lifting my left leg where Alex had thrown the burning stick at me. I turned to her and smiled. Her hand on my shoulder felt reassuring. "Well thanks, Professor. For staying with me, and... everything."
"Of course." Hale smiled and rubbed my shoulder.
"So when did you hear about my hospital situation?" I said.
"Tessa came and found Gracie and I on the beach, actually. I came right over here."
"Oh shit... so did I ruin your beach date with Gracie?"
Hale snickered and shrugged. "It's okay. We had fun for a few hours, and she said she'll make it up to me."
"Oh, 'make it up to you'?" I said, wiggling my eyebrows. "Did she specify how, exactly, she's going to... make it up to you?"
Hale smirked and smacked my shoulder lightly. "Are you getting dirty ideas, Perkins?"
"Hey, I can't help it!" I said. "I mean, are you two like... dating, officially?"
Hale blushed and turned away. "Can I plead the fifth on that?"
"Hey come on, you can tell me," I said. "I practically put you two together! I'm essentially your matchmaker."
Hale snorted rolled her eyes. "Matchmaker! What a load of crap."
"Well, I mean it's a little true," I said.
Hale smirked at me. "Well, Mister Matchmaker, the short answer is that I don't know what to tell you anyway. I think Gracie's just having a little fun exploring her sapphic side, but I'm not exactly sure..."
"I think she's more into you than you think," I said.
Hale shrugged. "Maybe. I don't know yet."
"Well how do you feel?" I asked. "You two have known each other a long time."
Hale looked at me and thought for a long moment. Ultimately, she just changed the subject. "Well, I'll say this much: Gracie's not very happy with you right now. Not only did you interrupt our beach date, but the Turtle Island trip is dead, too. She was looking forward to that."
"Oh shit, yeah..." I looked down at myself. "I guess I'm not really in a condition to go hiking."
"Yeah I don't think they let mummies on the boat," Hale said.
"I could limp along with crutches?" I suggested.
She shook her head. "We're out of time anyway. Once you get out of the hospital, we need to fly back home. I was looking forward to the island too, but... I'll live."
I leaned back, staring at the ceiling. I suppose on one hand it was a bit of a relief for the trip to die this way. At least I didn't have to explain to Hale or Gracie that I couldn't pay for it, and that I had been relying on Jenny the whole time. But it still felt awful. Now I just ruined the trip in a different way.
"I'm really sorry about ruining the trip," I said.
"Don't worry about it, just rest up," Professor Hale said. She leaned over and patted my chest affectionately. I watched her boobs bounce a little under her loose T-shirt and my body felt warm. But also I felt a little dull pain throughout my body and winced.
Hale eyed me curiously though those black-rimmed glasses. I enjoyed the touch of Professor Hale's hand caressing my stomach.
"So... what happened, exactly?" she asked. "Tessa said you basically got in a fight with an airport shuttle?"
"Well, it's kind of a ridiculous story."
Hale snorted. "I kind of assumed it would be. Why were you chasing the shuttle, exactly?"
"Can I plead the fifth on that?" I said.
Hale grinned. "No. Consider it part of your repentance for ruining our date. You have to tell me what happened."
I returned her grin and sighed. "Alright, well, Jenny was on the shuttle, and I was going after her..."
"Ah hah! I had a feeling it involved that girl somehow," Hale said. "She was a cute girl, I liked her."
"You did, huh?"
Hale nodded. "I didn't know her well, but we had fun at Gracie's little girl's night party. She wasn't a bad kisser, either. Which was surprising considering she said she had so little experience."
"Kisser?!"
Hale grinned and winked at me. "Gracie's little birthday party was... more fun than I expected. At first I was worried Gracie was pressuring the poor girl, but soon I realized she was actually enjoying getting pushed out of her shell a bit."
"Wait so... you three all were making out?"
"A little. It was middle school stuff, but... it was fun," Hale said, snickering. She rubbed her hand over my belly button, over the hospital gown. "So was Jenny going to the airport? I thought she was joining us on the turtle island adventure?"
"Yeah, I thought she was, too," I said, sighing.
"What happened?"
"Apparently, she was never going to join it, but just made me think she was going to. Hannah told her a bunch of bullshit about us... I guess I just wanted to set the record straight before she left. If she was going to leave, I didn't want her to leave with Hannah's version of things in her head. It just felt... wrong."
"Set the record straight, huh?" Hale said. She looked at me curiously as she rubbed my chest. "Was all this damage worth it, just for that?"
I thought about it for a minute, looking at my bandages and then the ceiling. I thought about the look on Jenny's face in the van. At least she heard me. At least when we both think back on the last few days, the memory won't be ruined.
"Yeah, I think so," I said, finally.
Hale nodded and seemed to understand. "Well... I'm glad to hear it wasn't all for nothing. So this Jenny girls' out of the picture, then?"
"Seems to be," I said. "I assume she's back on a plane to... well, I don't really know where. Honestly, I realized that I don't really know much about her."
"Too bad. Sorry, Perkins," Hale said.
"Thanks."
She looked into the distance as she gently caressed my stomach. Her hand slid over my thin hospital gown, between wires. We both sort of stared into the distance, lost in thought. I closed my eyes, enjoying the feel of her hand caressing me absent-mindedly. Her warm hand was a relief, even through the gown.
As I focused on the feel of her hand, my time with Professor Hale came back to me and I remembered how much I enjoyed her touch and sighed.
Hale seemed snapped out of her reverie and turned to me. It was almost as if she just realized she had been caressing me this whole time.
Her hand stopped on my stomach. I opened my eyes.
"Why did you stop rubbing my chest?" I said.
"You were making noises," she said, smirking. "I was worried you were enjoying that a little too much."
I frowned. "Well, I think I was enjoying it the correct amount."
Hale snickered and pulled her hand between all the wires.
"It's a little awkward with all these wires," she said.
"You think I could get them off?" I said.
"Why, so you can get a better chest massage?" Hale teased.
"Well, I'd like to feel a little more like a human, and a little less like a robo-mummy," I said, sitting up. "But if it made it easier for you to keep rubbing my chest... I wouldn't be sad about it."
Hale smirked and picked up a white telephone-like object connected to a cord. "Well, I can call the nurse. Now that you're awake and feeling better, it might be feasible. Let's see."
She pressed the button to call the nurse and put down the phone.
"So... why don't you start by telling me about your wild car chase?" Hale asked.
"It's kind of embarrassing," I said, fidgeting.
"Well, if you won't tell me, I won't rub your chest again," Hale teased.
I frowned. "Alright, I'll tell you."
Hale smiled.
I talked for a while, telling her about the chase, and about the mean driver who wouldn't let me on board. How I ran after the van, jumped on it, and then flew off as the driver swerved right. Professor Hale gently touched my chest, lightly rubbing as she listened.
As I was finished, the door to the room opened and a kindly looking middle-aged Asian nurse poked her head in. "Did someone call? Oh, you're up, Mister Perkins!"
"Yeah I was seeing if I could get this stuff off me," I said, holding up the cords. "Is it all still necessary?"
"Hm, let me do some checks and see," she said.
Over the next few minutes, the nurse did various tests on me, checked my vitals, and the doctor came in for a few minutes to check on things. Once they determined I no longer had a concussion, they gave the all-clear to remove all my wires. They checked my bandages, but my scrapes were still too raw, so most of those stayed on.
"Do you want to take off the catheter?" the nurse asked. "You'll have to go pee on your own." She nodded to the little bathroom in the corner of my room.
"Oh I didn't even really realize I had that on," I said.
Hale looked away.
"Yeah, you can take it off," I said.
The nurse nodded and reached under my gown to undo it. Once the nurse was gone I laid back on the bed and raised the back to a higher angle. I was still bandaged up, but having the wires and everything off me was a relief. I settled back, relieved.
"Can you uh... continue now?" I asked.
Hale smirked and leaned forward. "Continue... with this?" she said, placing a hand on my stomach, over the gown.
I leaned back and sighed. "Yes, please."
Hale continued gently caressing my chest and stomach. It was easier without the cords and I felt a little free, though also a little exposed considering I was only wearing the light hospital gown.
"So do you and Gracie have like, a label?" I asked.
"Not really," Hale said, rubbing my stomach absent-mindedly.
"Were you making out on the beach?" I asked.
Hale smiled and nodded.
"Can I ask another question?"
"Sure."
"So which body parts of hers made it inside you, and vice-versa..."
"PERKINS!"
"Well you were starting to answer some questions, so I thought I'd see how many details I could get."
Hale snickered and slapped my chest. "I'll say this much, I've done more with Gracie in the last twenty-four hours than I have with a girl in decades."
"That's all I get, huh?"
Hale bit her lip and looked away as she caressed my chest. "Well, on the beach Tessa nearly found Gracie's hand down my swimsuit when she came to tell us about you..."
"Oh ho!" I said, doing my best impression of Frank's eyebrow wiggle.
Professor Hale snickered and looked away.
"You know," I said, thinking about it, "I'm surprised she wanted me to join you two, since clearly her plan was to get frisky with you on the beach," I said.
"Well, I think she was looking forward to making you jealous, honestly." Hale said, chuckling.
I laughed but then winced, as laughing hurt.
"Are you okay?" Hale asked, worried.
I caught my breath and nodded. "I'm okay. But I think plan would have worked..."
As I imagined the two of them, Hale rubbed my stomach. I laid back, enjoying the feeling as I imagined them on the beach.
"Perkins!" Hale exclaimed.
"What?"
I followed her gaze and looked down to see myself making a bit of a tent under my hospital gown. She reached out and slapped my tent, making it jiggle under the loose hospital gown.
"I can't help it!" I said.
Hale snickered and looked me over. "You know, I bet it's the blood flow from your leg," she said, pointing to my raised right leg on the pillow. "The blood's flowing down to, well..."
"Yeah, that's probably it," I agreed.
Hale turned to me and smirked. "Well... it appears you're feeling better."
"Can you keep rubbing my stomach?" I asked.
She narrowed her eyes at me and pursed her lips.
"What?" I said.
"Well, since you're clearly, uh, feeling better... I have something to show you."
I sat up as Hale bent down to retrieve something from her purse. She took out a white cylindrical object and placed it on my stomach. There were little lines on it and a cross, and I realized I was looking at a pregnancy test.
"Holy shit," I said, picking it up. "So... what does that mean?"
"Well, the plus means positive," she said. "It means I'm pregnant."
"Yes, but... what does it mean about you and me?" I said.
"Well, I think mostly it means that we weren't using a condom when you came inside me," Hale said.
I frowned. "I figured that much out. I meant-"
"I'm getting rid of it, Perkins. I'm just telling you because you made me promise to tell you. So I'm telling you."
I examined the pregnancy test, moving it around as if there was some secret hidden inside. I thought about us, and about our conversation on the hotel room's balcony.
"Did you tell Gracie about this?" I asked.
"No. Because once I take care of it, it won't concern her."
"Really?" I said. "Are you sure that's what you want to do?"
"What else would I do?" she said.
"Well... you said you wouldn't get a lot more opportunities to have a kid..."
"Come on, Perkins, we've talked about this," she said, sighing. "You're hardly in a position to be a dad. You're a freshman, and I'm kind of with Gracie..."
"Yeah, but if you did want to have a kid, I'm not sure a lesbian relationship is the easiest route," I said.
"There are ways," she countered, pursing her lips. "And I didn't tell you I wanted a kid. Just that I was..."
"Yeah, conflicted," I said. "But..."
"But what, Perkins?" she growled, warning me. "Why are you pushing back?"
I held up my hands: both my good left hand and my bandaged, injured right.
"Look it's your call," I said. "Thanks for telling me. But, I think it's worth talking about. Before you do anything."
She sighed. "So what are you going to do, quit school?"
"I would, if you want me to."
"Well, I don't want you to," she said.
"Well what if I wanted to?"
She peered at me, staring at me through those black-rimmed glasses. She narrowed her eyes, trying to suss me out.
"I'm serious," I said.
"Serious about what? Stealing me back from Gracie?"
"It wasn't about that, I... I guess I just want to help," I said.
"Yeah, you're big on helping these days," Hale said. "Offering to sign Tessa's thing in return for the trip... but you need to be honest with me about what you want. If you're actually serious."
"But what if this is your last chance to have a kid?" I said. "Don't you want to... pursue that?"
"With you?" Hale said.
I shrugged. "Would it be so bad? I mean, look, we don't need to like... get married. I can be whatever you need."
Professor Hale gave me a long look and crossed her arms as she examined me. I felt like I was under a microscope as she looked me over. I had the distinct sense that wearing my gown made me feel almost naked. I had never been stared at so intently, so silently, for such a long period of time. It felt like I was begin opened up and dissected.
"I know what you want," Hale said. Her voice was a low growl, barely audible.
"What's that?"
I looked down and felt Hale's soft hand sliding over my knee, underneath the bottom hem of my hospital gown. I gulped as her hand made its way up my bare thigh.
"Professor..."
"You want to hear my theory, Perkins?" Hale said.
I sucked in my breath as her hand slid up the base of my shaft. My dick reacted immediately, straining and quivering at her touch. I sat up, trying to act normal as her hand slid around inside my gown, until it curled around the base of my shaft.
"What's your... theory?" I asked, trying to sound normal.
I sucked in my breath as her hand curled around the head of my cock.
"My theory is that you're a horny boy who will say anything to get fucked," she whispered. I groaned as she began stroking, slowly, but enough to make my body feel like it was overheating. "And I think once you cum, you won't really care much about it."
I bit my lip and tried to suppress a moan as she began stroking my erection quickly. I was already leaking a circle of precum into my hospital gown.
"That's not... true..." I groaned.
"I don't believe you," she said, and began stroking me faster.
She leaned forward, and her boobs jiggled under her shirt as her hand stroked, faster and faster under my gown.
"I'm going to let you finish, Perkins. And then you can think about it. But I don't think you really want to raise a kid with me. I think you just want me to make you cum."
Her hand sped up, faster and faster. My eyes rolled back and I felt how hot my dick was getting. I knew I was getting close.
"I'm going to..." I turned to her. "Make a mess..."
Hale smirked.
"Fine," she said. "But only because you look so pathetic."
"Fine what?"
She pulled my gown up to my waist, exposing me and letting my damp dick point straight up in the cool air. She brought her hands to her hair and pulled the sides of her hair up. In a smooth motion, she pulled a hair tie from her wrist and pulled her hair into a ponytail.
"Is this what you wanted?" she whispered.
"Would Gracie get mad at you?" I responded.
"Don't tell her. This is the last time with us."
Footsteps came from outside: the click of heels and the sounds of laughter. We both froze in place, me with my dick exposed and Hale with her hands tying her ponytail. Then we heard Gracie's voice, and Tessa's.
"Shit!" Hale said. She quickly pulled down my gown, but it left an obvious tent as my boner stuck straight into the air underneath.
"Here," I offered, throwing the pregnancy test into in her purse.
"Thanks," she whispered, and zipped her purse.
The door to the room began to push open and Professor Hale reached behind my head. I winced as the pillow was pulled from behind me, and the back of my head crashed into the raised back of the bed. Hale threw the pillow onto my lap, and I held it down just as Tessa entered, with Gracie behind her.

Part B: Jessica vs Tessa
"Here it is," Tessa said, leading Gracie into the room.
Tessa and Gracie walked in, chatting a little. Tessa had on a crisp, light grey business suit and carried a white folder with her. And then I saw Gracie.
Gracie looked incredible, as I had never seen her before. She wore a skin-tight red dress that hugged the curves of her body. The dress was beautiful and elegant, with a long slit down the side that provided a scandalous view up her leg, and her bare hip. Her hair was in an elaborate knot. She didn't look like a college girl on vacation... she looked like a movie star.
"Holy shit, Gracie," Professor Hale said, jaw on the floor.
"Gracie, you look... amazing," I stammered. I was still catching my breath, and that was all I could manage.
Gracie looked at me, raising an eyebrow. "And you look like a mummy. You're alive?"
"For now," I said.
"For now? What do you mean, for how long?" Gracie asked. She sounded more curious than alarmed.
"I didn't think it was that bad," Tessa said, worried.
"Well, I probably only have another 50-60 years, depending on how much I drink," I said.
Gracie rolled her eyes.
"I guess he woke up in a good mood," Tessa said.
"So what's the occasion for the dress?" Professor Hale asked.
"Well, since our beach date got cut short for SOME REASON," Gracie said, giving me a scowl, and turning back to Hale. "I thought we'd go out on a proper date! And since you've been here all day with the mummy, I was getting ready."
"Where are you going?" I asked. "The Oscars?"
Gracie flicked me off. "No, it's called Blue Fin, as a matter of fact. It's a fancy seafood place."
"You got a reservation at Blue Fin?!" Hale said, shocked.
"You know it?" Gracie asked.
"Of course! It's a great spot, but not easy to get into, especially last minute," Hale said.
"For mere mortals, maybe," Tessa said, smirking. "But not for the manager of an expensive luxury resort. I've got connections."
Gracie beamed and kissed Tessa on the cheek. Tessa smiled wide. "Got you the most romantic table, too. Looking out over the ocean. Your reservation is in an hour and a half."
"Come on, you've been in this room long enough," Gracie said. "Perkins will survive."
Hale looked down at herself in her short pajama shorts and her loose T-shirt.
"I'm... hardly dressed for Blue Fin," Hale said. "And I didn't bring anything nice to the Maluhia, I'd have to go back home, but that would take time..."
"That's why I bought you a dress!" Gracie responded.
"You bought me a dress?!" Hale said.
"Oh, and shoes! Tessa showed me some really good discount boutiques with great stuff. But we can't dilly dally here all day."
Professor Hale gawked, jaw on the floor.
"Wow, you were busy, Gracie," I said.
"Well she's been here all day with you in this hospital room! So I had hours to kill, and I just... planned everything." Gracie said. "And besides, Tessa said that Jessica hasn't been on a proper date in like ten years! So I thought if I had a whole day to kill, I might as well plan a good one!"
Professor Hale went beet red.
"I can't believe you told her that, Tessa!" Hale said, covering her face with her hands. "You're such a gossip!"
"What? I just wanted to help!" Tessa said, snickering. She walked to the table beside me and dropped off a white folder with the Maluhia resort logo. "Well, I'll just leave this here and get out of your hair. Glad to see that you're alright, Perkins. And have fun on your date, you two."
"What's this?" I asked, picking up the folder.
"Oh just some perks for you," Tessa said, tapping the folder. "I comped this last night, and we'll cover the remainder of your hotel charges too, like food and minibar. There's just a paper for you to sign about the incident to make sure we're all on the same page."
"Sign?" Hale said, pulling her head out of her hands. Her voice changed immediately to something much more serious. "Let me see."
Tessa looked hesitant. "He doesn't have to sign anything now, just look it over, and-"
"This is an odd time to give the boy something to sign," Hale said, frowning. She stood up from the chair and reached over me. "Give it."
I handed her the folder. Hale opened it immediately. Her face became angry as she read.
"Like I said, take your time, if you have changes you can tell me..." Tessa said, trying to sound conciliatory.
"A release?" Hale said, turning from me to Tessa. "You want him to sign a release of liability? He's still recovering from a concussion!"
"Well, there really is no liability anyway," Tessa said. "I mean our driver did nothing wrong, so it's just a courtesy-"
"Don't sign this," Hale said to me as she held up the paper. "You'd be giving up your legal right to sue the resort, in exchange for peanuts."
"Peanuts?!" Tessa scoffed. "There are over two thousand dollars worth of perks in return for his signature! And that's in addition to what I've already comped!"
"Yes, but compared to the hospital bill? Ambulance? Pain and suffering?" Hale said, closing the folder abruptly. "Like I said: peanuts. He's got a case if he wants to pursue it. It was your van and your driver."
Tessa scowled and pointed to me. "Well his situation is entirely his fault, so it's just a gesture of goodwill anyway!"
"Well from what I heard, your driver was driving recklessly," Hale said, crossing her arms, with the folder at her side.
"Who did you hear that from? Him?!" Tessa said, pointing to me. "He's hardly a reliable source! Our driver is a professional!"
"Well maybe that's for a jury to decide?" Hale said, staring back coolly at Tessa. "And if the driver was swerving like Perkins said, you could absolutely face liability. So let this be a warning to you to keep any copies of camera footage you have of that driveway area. You know, in case of litigation."
Tessa opened her mouth and closed it. She was clearly furious. But all of a sudden I felt like I had a lawyer in my corner. Hale was protecting me, and she was good at it.
Gracie came to sit on my hospital bed and scooched me over as she sat against my hip. She watched the other two like she was watching a soap opera. The back of Gracie's dress was mostly open, showing off her smooth upper back. I held the pillow tightly over my lap.
Hale and Tessa argued for a few moments, trading phrases like 'agent liability' and 'litigation costs.'
"I thought you'd be on my side, Jessica!" Tessa said.
"I may be your friend, but I have an obligation to protect my students!" Hale said, pointing the folder at me.
"Then maybe it was a mistake to comp your room at all! Some friend you are!"
I could tell this was getting heated between the two women. As much as I enjoyed Hale defending me, I didn't need her to lose her friendship with Tessa over it. And if there really was as much money on the line as Hale seemed to think, I might have just found a way to make up for things, a little bit.
"Tessa," I said.
Everyone turned to me.
"Would a trip to turtle island be worth my signature?"
Tessa blinked and changed her tone back to something calmer. "You mean the one I was telling you about the other day? You hardly look like you're in a state for that. Even if it the trip is basically glamping."
"No, for Gracie and Hale. With all the perks, too."
Tessa crossed her arms and regarded me curiously.
"Perkins," Hale said. "You don't have to offer her anything or sign anything. And we have to go back in a few days anyway..."
"Maybe it can be a rain check to cash in later. Perhaps later this summer, or next year," I suggested to Tessa. "And also, remember I got Hannah away from the bar. You owe me for that."
"Oh yes, it was so much better to have her puke in my lobby," Tessa said, rolling her eyes.
"The blonde bitch puked in the lobby?!" Gracie said, laughing.
"Perkins stole her phone or something, and she was chasing him..." Tessa said.
"WHAT," Gracie said. "I NEED to hear this story!"
"Another time, I think," Hale said.
"Look, guys..." Tessa took a deep breath. "Tell you what. Let me talk to the company who runs the trip. They owe me one, anyway. Perkins' idea is probably doable."
"Thanks Tessa," I said.
"You would need to include Perkins' hospital costs as well," Hale cut in quickly. "It's worth it to avoid lawyers and pain and suffering and..."
"Okay okay," Tessa held up a hand. "I get it. Let me run it up the flagpole. After Perkins gets out of here, meet me at the hotel and we'll hash out the details and get his signature. Unless of course you want to hire a lawyer and pursue litigation instead."
"We'll meet with you," I said, quickly, before Hale could threaten to hire a lawyer.
Hale pursed her lips at me.
"Sounds good," Tessa said. "We'll talk once you get discharged from the hospital."
"Talk to you then, Tessa," Hale said, coldly.
"Bye, Tessa!" Gracie said. "Thanks for all your help!"
Tessa just pursed her lips and nodded to us, before leaving.

Part C: Life Planning
Professor Hale let out a long sigh and walked over to the wall. She leaned against it and slid her glasses to her forehead.
"Well that was a nice offer of you, Perkins" Gracie said, turning to me. She patted my chest. "You'd really sign that thing Tessa gave you just to give us a trip?"
I shrugged. "I promised both of you, didn't I?"
Hale shook her head. "I can't tell if you're being stupid or romantic, Perkins."
"That's been kind of my thing recently," I said. "And sorry for ruining your beach date, too. But it sounds like this Blue Fin date will be even better."
"Yes, the work you put into that was... amazing," Hale said.
"Thank you!" Gracie beamed. She wiggled her butt into my hip as she sat on my bed.
"So you planned out the whole night?" I said.
"Oh I planned everything! Once Jessica tries on her new dress- which I'm pretty sure will fit her- then we go to Blue Fin. Then, Tessa told me about this spot with a view of the ocean that sounds super romantic."
Hale was watching Gracie and I intently.
"Then what?" I asked.
"Well, then we go back to the hotel and have mind-blowing sex, obviously," Gracie said.
"Obviously," I agreed.
Hale shook her head and put her hand over her face.
"I have to admit, sounds like a good plan," I said, impressed.
"Well that's only the beginning!" Gracie said.
"How much did you plan, Gracie?!" Hale said. "I can't stay up till 4:00am like I used to!"
"No, I mean after tonight," Gracie said. "We can work on transferring to teach at a college in Hawaii," Gracie said.
"What?" Hale said.
"Why does she need to transfer?" I asked.
"Well, she keeps talking about how she misses Hawaii and that this is where her interest in biology began. And where it really is, to be honest. It doesn't make sense for her to stay in the MIDWEST, that's lame. Especially now that I've graduated. I mean I'm not staying there," Gracie spoke with broad, dramatic hand motions.
"She did tell me about Hawaii sort of creating her interest in biology," I said.
"Exactly, she's been talking about that years. She belongs here. Besides, maybe she could find a position at a college here that's tenure track. Something more stable."
"Gracie, of course all that sounds lovely but it's not so easy to just transfer schools. I mean, Academia's a rough place-" Hale began
"Oh, pshah, you'll make it work," Gracie said, waving a dismissive hand. "And you have friends and contacts here. It makes perfect sense. You just need to try. You just need a push in the butt. And I'm that push!"
"Well it sounds like a good plan to me," I said.
"Thank you!" Gracie said.
"Jesus, you two..." Hale shook her head.
"And then," Gracie continued. "Jessica and I will live together in her house on the beach."
"Oh, now it makes sense why you really want her to transfer to a Hawaiian school," I said.
Gracie winked.
"Gracie..." Hale hid her face in her hands. She was laughing to herself, lost in embarrassment. Her cheeks were beet red.
"Is that the whole plan?" I asked.
"Oh no, that's just the beginning. We're going to start having babies once we move to Hawaii," Gracie said.
"Gracie!" Hale shouted.
"How many? I asked.
"At first I was thinking three, but now I think four babies," Gracie suggested. "Ideally two boys, two girls. But we'll see what we get."
"Wow, that's a lot of kids," I said.
"Well, it helps that Jessica has all that staff, to help us take care of them," Gracie said. "We'll have to expand the house, obviously. But we can live on the beach, and I'll raise our children while she teaches, and during the nights we'll have bonfire dinners on the beach. And if your turtle island trip is as good as you say maybe we can go there once a year or so to relax and take a break! I'm thinking my parents or hers can watch the kids with her staff while we go on a romantic expedition to recharge the batteries. Or maybe we'll go abroad. We'll see."
"Well, I don't think I can get injured and pay for that trip every year," I said.
"Well that's okay, you'll be in school, and then you'll focus on something lucrative, so you can get a good job, and then you can pay for it," Gracie suggested.
"And why on Earth would Perkins do that?" Hale said.
"Oh he'll do it," Gracie assured Hale.
"I will?"
"Well like I told you," Gracie said. "You can come join us, and be our mattress."
"You said that to him?!"
"Well, I like the idea of hiking on a romantic island, but the tents are very uncomfortable!" Gracie said. "It's not like we can hike with a mattress... unless one hikes with us!"
"Yeah the tents don't usually come with dicks pre-installed either," Hale added.
"I dunno, Tessa made it sound like this trip really had all the bells and whistles," I said.
Gracie snickered and grinned at me.
"OK well... no wonder you've been so invested in this trip, Perkins! It's finally making sense to me now," Hale said.
"Hey, I just want to say for the record I offered to sign away my rights to buy it for you two," I said.
"It's alright, you came through eventually," Gracie said, putting a hand on my arm. "You've earned your role as our mattress."
"Thank you!" I said.
Gracie smiled.
"You know, I've heard of lesbians coming to a first date with a U-Haul," I said. "But I didn't think it was really this true."
"Well, I didn't say we were having all the babies tomorrow," Gracie said, rolling her eyes dramatically. "I'm just planning."
"So like, starting to have babies in a few months?" I suggested.
"Perkins, please stop encouraging her!" Hale said, hiding her face.
"Yeah maybe... six months," Gracie agreed.
"You should probably start sooner, since it takes time," I suggested.
"Good point, maybe three months, then," Gracie said.
"Christ save me..." Hale leaned back against the wall, both hands over her eyes, shaking her head.
"I didn't think you were religious," I said to Hale.
"I wasn't until this moment," Hale replied, staring up at the ceiling. "But I feel like I need some kind of divine assistance to get me out of this conversation."
"Well, I think we still haven't solved one very important detail," I said.
"Oh? What's that?" Gracie said.
"Well... how exactly are you planning to have all these babies?"
"Well... I guess Jessica and I will just need to have lots of sex," Gracie said. "We'll practice tonight."
"GRACIE!" Hale sunk to her knees and hugged her knees, burying her head in her arms.
"Wow, Professor, how did Gracie ever pass your bio class?"
"I don't know..." Hale said, shaking her head. Tears were coming down her cheeks. "I don't know... I don't know anything anymore..."
"Oh, shut up!" Gracie said, laughing, as she pulled up my pillow to smack me in the face with it. I held the pillow to my face.
"Jesus, Perkins are you just always hard?" Gracie said. "I thought you were like... injured!"
Professor Hale looked up and peeked. She snickered.
"It's my leg!" I said, pointing.
"What's your stupid leg?" Gracie said.
"It's the blood flow! It goes... down!"
"Maybe it was your dress that got him worked up," Hale said. She was laughing to herself, still sitting on the floor, hiding her head in her arms like an ostrich.
"Hey!" Gracie stood up, and my bed shook as the weight dropped from it. "This dress was intended for the female gaze!"
"Well, if so, it works on both," I said.
"Gracie, you look fantastic, but..." Hale looked up. "But that is definitely a dress bought by a girl accustomed to the male gaze."
"Well... I'm new to being a lesbian, okay?!" Gracie said, arms wide. "I thought it looked hot!"
"It does! It is! I'm not complaining," Hale said.
"You'd better not be!" Gracie said.
There was a knock at the door.
"Nurse!" she said, as the door pushed open.
"He's not decent," Hale whispered, nodding to me.
Gracie turned to me, looked me over and reached behind my head.
"Ow!" I said, as my head fell back against the bed for a second time as Gracie pulled the pillow from behind my head and pushed it over my lap.
Professor Hale snickered and stood up as the door opened. A large nurse with a mean scowl waddled into the room, carrying a tray.
"I'm Nurse Johnson, and it's my shift," announced the nurse who entered. She gave Gracie a long look before waddling forward, aggressively, and slamming a tray on the table beside my bed. The tray had a few pills and a cup of water.
"Whose the pretty girl?" Nurse Johnson said, hands on her hips. "This your wife?"
"No, I'm... just his friend," Gracie said.
"Uhhhh huh," the nurse said. "Well visitor hours are ending. Only approved family and guardians after 7:00."
"I'm his official guardian for the trip," Hale said.
Nurse Johnson turned to her. "I didn't think you looked like that boy's momma."
"I'm not," Hale said. "But I should probably get 24/7 access as his guardian. I'm his faculty leader. We're on a school trip."
"So are you staying overnight?" Nurse Johnson asked. "You'll need to fill out a form."
"No, we're both leaving," Gracie cut in.
"I didn't ask you," Nurse Johnson said, and put her hands on her hips as she turned to Hale. "You need the 24-7 form or not?"
"Well maybe I should..." Hale hesitated, looking from Gracie to me.
"Jessica!" Gracie said. "I planned everything for us tonight!"
"Well, I feel a little bad about leaving him," Hale said, turning from Gracie to me. "He's still recovering from a concussion, after all..."
Gracie crossed her arms and frowned dramatically. Her eyes were wet.
"Neither of them are authorized for 24-7 access," I said.
"Are you serious, Perkins?" Hale said.
"I'll be fine, you go with Gracie," I said. "And then I've got another day in here. I'll watch lots of TV."
I pointed to the little TV connected to the ceiling on the opposite side of the room from me. It was small but it would do for a day.
Gracie turned to me and smiled. She wiped a tear from her eye.
"Thank you, Perkins," Gracie said.
I smiled. It was nice to not be called a minion, for once.
"Well sounds like you all got some shit to work out," Nurse Johnson said, huffing. "You all will need to be out in fifteen minutes, then."
"Alright," Hale said.
Nurse Johnson returned her attention to me and pointed to my pills. "Now take your pills, Hah-moosh."
"Hah-moosh?!" Gracie said, laughing. "Are you sure you have the right room?"
"The fuck you say to me, pretty girl?" Nurse Johnson roared, turning on Gracie.
Gracie's eyes widened and she backed away, hands up. "Well if she thinks you're someone named 'Hah-moosh' you shouldn't be taking that medicine! It's for Hah-moosh!"
"It's just pain pills! And I didn't get shit wrong!" the nurse said. She waddled to the wall where she pulled out a piece of paper. She pointed to it, it was a diagnostic chart with my information. My name was at the top. "It says right here. Hah-moosh Perkins! Is that you, or not?"
"It's 'Hamish,' I corrected.
"Wait, your name is HAMISH?!" Gracie said, jaw open. "What kind of name is that?!"
"It was my grandfather's name," I mumbled.
"Oh right, I was so used to calling you Perkins, I forgot you registered under Hamish," Hale said.
"Well that's what I said!" the nurse said, huffing. "Now take your pills, Hah-moosh!"
I complied, quickly taking the pills with the water. The nurse huffed with satisfaction and took the tray.
"Fifteen minutes," Nurse Johnson warned to Hale and Gracie as she waddled out of the room.

Part D: Gracie's First Time
"So... you kicked me out, huh, Perkins?" Hale asked. She leaned back against the wall and crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes.
"You don't want to go on our date?" Gracie asked, worried.
"Oh, I do, I do!" Hale said, holding out a hand. "I was just... I dunno. I'm sorry, Gracie. I just felt bad."
"Hey look, you've done enough for me today, Professor," I said. "Go to Blue Fin and have fun."
"Well... thanks," Hale said. "Need anything before we go, mummy boy?"
I shrugged. "Maybe just send some pictures?"
"Pictures?" Hale asked, tilting her head. "Of our date?"
"Oh, he wants some spank bank material!" Gracie explained, snickering.
"Oh!" Hale said, laughing. "I should have known."
"Hey I was just like, curious about this dress Gracie bought for you..."
"Oh you'll like it," Gracie said, winking. "I'll send pics."
I smiled at Gracie.
"Oh god, nothing too incriminating, please?" Hale asked.
"Well where's the fun in that?" Gracie teased.
"Gracie!"
"Well, I'll take whatever I can get," I said.
"Be careful what you wish for, though," Gracie said, coming up to my bed.
"Why?" I said.
"Well..." she leaned over and touched my bandaged right arm. "You can't really take care of yourself, can you? Can you jerk off lefty?"
"Gracie!" Hale said, trying to hold back laughter.
Gracie turned to Hale and shrugged. "What? It's kind of torture to send him sexy pictures if he can't do anything about it, isn't it?"
"So I guess you don't want to send him pics then?" Hale asked.
"Oh no, I'm definitely sending them now," Gracie said, giggling. "I like a little mild torture."
"Oh come on guys," I complained. "What did I do to deserve this kind of treatment?"
"Well you did chase a moving van and fell off the side, to be fair," Hale said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Oh I have an idea. If we have a few minutes... how about a preview of coming attractions?" Gracie suggested.
"A preview?" I asked.
"Sure, you've got a front row seat." Gracie winked to me and sauntered over to Professor Hale, who was still waiting on the wall. Gracie's dress swirled a little over her legs as she walked.
"Gracie..." Hale stood up straight and glanced at the clock. "We have a reservation."
"They'll wait," Gracie said.
Hale looked over Gracie up and down as Gracie approached, almost pinning Hale against the wall. Professor Hale was taller, but Gracie's assertiveness made her the more intimidating party.
Gracie slid a hand around Professor Hale's waist and pushed Hale's glasses to her forehead. Professor Hale glanced to me, and back down to Gracie.
"Gracie..." Hale whispered. It looked like she was going to say something else, when Gracie stood on tiptoes.
I listened to the wet sounds of their lips meeting. Gracie leaned forward, pressing her body into Professor Hale, who wrapped her arms around Gracie's waist. I thought that was going to be the extent of my show... but then as they embraced, they began to get bolder. I could hear them moaning and opening their mouths wider as their light kissing increased in intensity. Soon, Gracie slid a hand behind Hale's head as she pressed her body forward, shoving Hale against the wall with her kiss. Hale's hand dropped, cupping Gracie's butt over her dress.
"Guys, come on..." I complained, pressing the pillow down over my lap.
The girls ignored me. My eyes widened in surprise as I saw Professor Hale's hand find the slit in Gracie's dress. I watched Hale's hand slide inside the high slit of Gracie's dress. The outline of her hand under the red fabric moved around Gracie's hip to grab her butt. Gracie moaned as their mouths opened and closed over each other.
"Okay, this is officially unfair," I said.
Professor Hale gasped as Gracie slid a hand down over Hale's stomach. It was hard for me to see exactly, but I realized Gracie soon had her hand inside Hale's short pajama shorts. Hale widened her legs a little and clutched Gracie's butt as Gracie's fingers began to move. Professor Hale's mouth opened and she lolled her head back against the wall.
I held the pillow uselessly over my dick as I watched.
"I haven't done this before to another girl..." Gracie whispered. She bit her lip, and for the first time, looked a little unsure. I watched her hand moving underneath the front of Hale's shorts.
"Is this... good?" Gracie asked.
Hale gasped and I saw her hand clutch Gracie's ass hard underneath the skirt. "That's... that's..."
"Good?" Gracie whispered.
"Yes. Good. Very good..." Hale said, panting. She widened her stance a little, letting Gracie get a better angle.
I watched while Gracie fingered Professor Hale against the wall. Hale rested her chin on Gracie's shoulder and opened her eyes to look at me. I could hear the wet sloshing sounds as Gracie's hand swirled faster and faster, underneath the pajama shorts. Hale arched her back and she looked at me as her almond eyes got wide, and a fuzzy. I could tell she was having an orgasm. Gracie's body was shaking as her fingers worked furiously. Finally, Hale's body collapsed and her head nestled into Gracie's neck.
"Did you...?" Gracie whispered.
Hale nodded. "Yeah." She pulled her hand out from Gracie's dress and they leaned against each other, catching breath.
"I did it!" Gracie said, smiling wide. "My first time making another girl orgasm!"
"Congratulations," I groaned.
"Thank you!" Gracie turned to me beaming, glowing with pride. Her chest heaved, jiggling a little as she caught her breath.
Gracie checked the clock. "Oh shit, we really need to get going!"
"One sec," Professor Hale nodded and detached from Gracie.
Hale limped over to retrieve her bag and took it to the bathroom. Gracie collapsed on a chair as Hale changed. But Hale didn't bother to close the door, and I watched as she pushed her short shorts to the floor, giving me a perfect view of her firm, tan ass. She took a tissue and wiped between her legs before pulling up her normal shorts. I stared and bit my lip, holding the pillow down over my lap.
Professor Hale turned to me when she was done and snickered.
"What?" I said.
"Perkins, you look like you're going to explode from horniness," Hale teased.
"Well I think that was Gracie's whole idea from the start," I groaned.
"Oh, don't be such a sourpuss," Gracie chided. "You just got a front row seat! Even better than a picture."
"I'm just saying it was a little unfair to leave me here incapacitated while you two... did all that stuff."
"Fair?!" Gracie said, hands on hips.
"Hey, Gracie got you, then she got me, so that's even," Professor Hale said. "One and one."
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Well, she told me about your 'rule three' or whatever."
Gracie blushed and turned away.
"What about it?" I said.
Professor Hale looked confused. "Wasn't that one of your silly little minion rules? You get her off three times, and she returns the favor? You said you did your three, so..."
"Yeah, but she hasn't finished her side of the bargain," I said.
"Really?" Hale said, turning. "Gracie, for shame!"
"It's not my fault!" Gracie frowned and crossed her arms under her boobs. "Hey, I offered to fuck him in the shower, and he said no!"
Hale looked shocked and turned to me. "Is that true? I didn't think you were capable of such a thing, Perkins!"
"Well... she wasn't really in a good head space," I said, fidgeting. "She just got in a fight with you, and she was pretty sad... I was being her emotional support minion. I was trying to be good!"
Hale just looked at me, shocked.
"Besides," Gracie continued, pointing at the two of us. "How many times did you two hook up?"
Hale and I shared a look and quickly broke it.
"Can I plead the fifth on that?" Hale said, looking away.
"Oh my god, five times?!" Gracie said. "I thought you were going to say, like, once or twice!"
"I wasn't saying five times, I was just trying not to answer..." Hale murmured.
"That's even worse!" Gracie said, turning to me. "So, Mister Unfair, was Jessica's pussy like the most amazing thing you ever put your dick into or what? How great was it, exactly?"
"Oh my GOD, let's go!" Hale said, grabbing Gracie's arm.
"Fine, I take back my complaint about fairness," I grumbled.
"I thought as much!" Gracie said.
The door opened and Nurse Johnson arrived again. She scowled at the girls. "You two still here? I told you!"
"We were just leaving!" Gracie said quickly.
"Well yes because apparently," Hale said, turning to me. "We are not authorized for 24/7 access, are we?"
"You are not," Nurse Johnson agreed. She came up to my bed and deposited a paper menu on the table beside me. "You want food? It's last call. Kitchen's about to close. After that, don't you try bitching to me to have them reopen, it won't work. Only vending machines are open after this."
"I'll take a look at the menu and order something," I said.
Nurse Johnson looked at the two girls, let out a harrumph and waddled out.
"You think his dinner will be as good as ours?" Gracie said.
"Okay okay, I think he's been through enough," Hale said.
"What? It's his fault he's hurt anyway!" Gracie insisted.
"Yes, but still..." Hale murmured.
I sighed. "Have fun on your date, you two."
"Thank you," Hale said, waving to me. "I'll check on you tomorrow."
"Oh, one last thing," Gracie said. She picked up a box of tissues and tossed them to me. They bounced off my chest.
"What are these for?" I said.
"In case you want to try jerking it as a lefty, Hahmoosh!"
Hale snorted in amused surprise, and the two of them giggled like schoolgirls as they left the room. Leaving me alone.
I stared at the ceiling, wondering what to do next. The menu was not terribly interesting, but I ordered something. At least picking at chicken fingers would give me something to do. The remote had a few channels with TV and movies on, but I was too distracted to pay attention to anything. I kept thinking of Gracie and Hale against the wall. I reached for the box of tissues when my phone buzzed.
I realized this was the same buzz that woke me up initially; someone was texting me. I picked up my phone to see a bunch of messages from Jenny. Many were hours old. My smile grew as I looked over one after another. She had been calling and texting all day, I just didn't get them.
Jenny: Oh my god are you okay?!
Jenny: Where are you??? They said you went to the hospital but wouldn't tell me where. Apparently because I'm not family or guardian or whatever they won't tell me anything
Jenny: Sorry I was the worst sugar momma in the whole world :(
Jenny: Btw I told Hannah to fuck off for good
Jenny: Look I don't want to sound desperate and I know you said you weren't mad at me and probably you are but that was just to make me feel better, but... can you just tell me if you're okay? Please?
Then I saw the text Jenny had just sent a few seconds ago.
Jenny: Shit I forgot I blocked you! Sorry! I fixed it so you can call or text me back
I smiled and leaned back against the bed, satisfied.
"Unblocked," I said to myself, grinning.
