Bravely I ran out of sight and the bravado dissolved into the pitch blackness I found there.
A few strides behind me, the square of light of the doorframe. Before me, some hundred yards below, a vague oval of hazier darkness. It was a pretty damn long shaft, dug into the rock, and the slop was unforgiving. No handrails, no lights. Couldn't see my feet....

MAIL ORDER
I bought it on a whim. One of those "mystery" boxes from those retail websites. My girlfriend of 2 years, Lily, had just left me for a guy at work, maybe he had more money, or a better apartment, I don't know. She broke it off over text, then refused to take my calls. Bitch.
My place is pretty simple. Living room combined with kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. I do have a nice TV with the requisite coffee table and couch in front of it....

As I descend from my high and my body relaxes, I expect it to stop because I'm sensitive and sour, but the tentacle only seems to change setting to faster and more intense vibrations along with growing bigger inside me. Furthermore, I feel another tentacle pushing against my asshole.
"Stop," I mumble weakly without hearing my voice, but a soft but firm gag quickly follows this, shoved into my mouth, and I know this is only the start....

Sadly, Maple had lost sight of the woman. She exhaled. She saw a singular path.
Conversely, there were many vines that had surrounded the area. The vines looked as if they were thin fingers. The area no longer looked magical. This felt like a nightmare.
Maple turned around cagily -- many roots blocked the way back off....

Hello again readers! Thank you as always for sticking around for another installment of Hoshoka's story. This one ran a little long and took a bit more time than I'd wanted; I hurt my back and sitting down in my comfortable writing chair wasn't happening for a week. But I'm better now, and I think this is a fun chapter....

Loneliness Bites

"You should get a dog," Katrina said matter-of-factly, still chewing on the last small bit of the cookie she had ordered, washing it down shortly after with a sip of her latte.
"I should, huh?" Erica answered, deadpan, unimpressed with her friend's suggestion. "I pour my heart out to you about being lonely and frustrated with my dating life, and your answer is 'get a dog'? How is that supposed to help?"...

As we sit helpless, chained down on our stone pedestals, the noise from below grows louder. Something scrapes against the stone, closing in, advancing in the dark hole.
A low hissing sound emanates, and I see what is in store for us: a small snake slithers out of the hole. It's bright orange with a white underbelly and black stripes on its head. Its head monitors the surroundings as its forked tongue licks the air....

Noting Seula's move toward the descending stairs, Azalea inquired, "You're not taking the lift?"
"Too slow."
"So then how..."
The selkie grabbed a bucket, filled it with water from a barrel, and poured it down a slide on the outer curve of the stairwell.
"I... I need to prepare a few things, so I'll meet you at the b... bottom."...

A couple traversed over the hills and through forests, carrying heavy packs along with them. Other travelers might have presumed them to be a husband and wife, albeit a rather unusual marriage. The woman wore armor and looked rather rugged compared to her partner, who was obviously unaccustomed to traveling on foot. He walked slower and was noticeably winded despite carrying a lighter load than she was....

Finn woke, confused. The wood of the old cabin reverberated as the front door swung open and connected with the frame and wall. The sound and motion pulled her from a dream she couldn't hold onto. Her brain was groggy and she needed to blink multiple times to get the sleep to clear from her head and eyes....

"Alright, just sign here, here, and here." The woman slides the paperwork across her desk, turning it around to face me. I flip through the pages with shaky hands. Safety guidelines, safe words, guaranteed satisfaction, confidentiality clauses. All right there in black and white.
I thought I'd be more nervous, but reading through the contract makes me feel better. I swallow, initialing beside each yellow tab, before sliding the paperwork back to her....

Here we go again, back up the Carpathian Mountains LOL. This has to be the longest mountain trek ever hehehe. They've only been stuck up there for the last 10 years O_O

Smack Smack Smack

"Why are you dragging your boots by this place again?" asked his friend and second.

"I need to figure this out. Why don't you go on ahead and I'll meet you at the tavern. If all goes well maybe I'll just meet you back home," he added with a mischievous wink and a chuckle, as he didn't really see that as a possibility....

Aileen was having an excellent morning. She'd managed to get her chocolate coloured waves to be silky and frizz free, her olive skin was so clear she could go makeup free today. She had coordinated the perfect outfit for her hourglass figure and she'd even woken up early enough that she had extra time to grab a coffee before work. She felt like today was going her way....
