Henry Tobin threw the old wooden bucket on the ground, face red. His breathing was coming in small huffs. Sweat poured down his face mixing with what he optimistically called mud that covered his face. He would never forgive his parents for this. Never....

Nina had journeyed far to reclaim the lost artifact of her people. The Ankh of Valdor was a sacred item, used for the yearly harvest rituals to honor the Earth goddess. Nina was well reputed amongst her fellow warriors and was selected for this task. She had short brown hair and wore rough leather armor across her personage. She always carried a sword at her side, prepared for any danger that may lurk ahead....

There was once a mountain village that lived in peaceful seclusion from the troubles of the rest of the world.
The village was protected from all manner of misfortune by the shadow of the mountains. The livestock never became diseased, and the fields were never plagued by locusts. Bandits never visited, and the village's crops always yielded double what was planted....

A young prince was traveling through the woods after a hunt. He had been separated from his friends during the chase, and now plodded his way back home, slashing his sword through the thicket. Although he wore heavy armor, he walked alongside his horse rather than ride, for the poor thing had lamed itself....

In a distant land to the south, there was once a country of men descended from marooned Greeks who had been lost at sea during the Trojan war. Those sailors had barely escaped a raging storm with their lives, their vessel badly damaged and their supply of food and water dwindling. By providence, they spotted land, and were saved....

Note: This is a story series that comprises of seven parts. This is the first one and it starts off with a bit of a slow burn but will pick up once the main character gets to a "certain point." My focus in this piece has been more on the narrative side but rest assured that it will be worth it.

I've been on hiatus for a bit. It hasn't been entirely intentional -- I've been busy with a lot of personal commitments -- but I also haven't been feeling excited about writing erotica.
